Scatter_88mil got a reaction from winnieBG in [12.04.30] Rumour - Jiyeon and Qri rumored for KBS drama "King's Dream"
If the rumors are true, then by all means, this literally means KKS has literally conned us completely.
Considering the drama is to air on August, this means it'll take place during or soon after promotions for the 2nd album. Ji Yeon has gone through promoting and acting at the same time already and suffice to say, she barely held out. Whether if Qri can do the same is questionable too. I wouldn't think they'd be part of the lead cast however - but this has gone far enough.
What happened to focusing on music for 2012? Instead, we get BS from him saying the group will expand, current members get insulted and face the danger of getting kicked out and now T-ara ends up wasting time for photoshoots, CFs and a trip to Europe. If they were to focus on music for 2012, then CCM should have focused on making the 2nd album top-notch and giving some of the members some serious vocal lessons as top priority.
This is some f**ked up management. Seriously.
I can only hope this will be a rumor. If it isn't, I suggest everyone boycott whatever CCM tries to sell us in the future.

Yea I read the article as well and frankly, I think it's safe to say that KKS is suffering from an extreme case of permanent brain damage - rumor has it that he was an inmate of Shutter Island and somehow escaped.
I believe T-ara isn't the only case where they've been treated inhumanely - SeeYa's Nam Gyuri went through a similar problem on the year T-ara debuted and it goes to say that SG Wannabe and Lee Hyori also were under CCM and ultimately left it. He even had the guts to say Co-Ed was a 'failure' and left them for the subsidiary companies because he couldn't be bothered to take the responsibility himself.
However, I find it particularly shocking, enraging and downright insulting that he calls the girls 'lazy' and 'prideful' when it's KKS himself who's lazy and prideful. It's very ironic because he probably gets 8 hours of sleep, socializes/networks with others, smokes a few cigars, meetings and does a few dozen email sending/replying and calls it 'work' while the girls are practically on their last leg, not to mention the staff are probably also very highly pressured to work under that greaseball.
It still amazes me how the girls managed to tolerate his BS for so long - I certainly don't recall SM, YG, JYP or even Cube and Pledis ranting on to the media claiming their idols are being 'lazy' and 'prideful' several times in a relatively short time span in press conferences.
No vacation since debut until last month (and even that was awfully short), being forced to sleep only 2-3 hours a day, rushed to hospital, performing on the stage despite serious injuries as well as IV drips etc. - and yet, he has the f**king guts to say they're being lazy, talentless and prideful. If anything, HE'S the one who's a lazy, talentless and prideful nutjob. For me, it wasn't T-ara's physical appearances, screen-time or music that made me a major fan - it was their endurance in working under such a nutjob dictator that made me a deep fan, much like the Wehrmacht in the twilight months of WW2, which fought to the bitter end because it was forced to do so for a delusional nutcase with a toothbrush mustache, despite knowing the war was lost.
I don't care if they have their solo concert and 2nd album along with variety shows this year or not - what I care is they get a damn proper break to refresh themselves while also being given a chance to live like normal human beings. Even in 2009 when SNSD's popularity skyrocketed, the 9 members still got to have a short break at some point before summer. Solo concerts, new albums and appearing in front of people's TVs, computers, phones, IPads etc. can wait - the long vacation T-ara needs cannot wait and the countdown has already begun.
KKS's '30 years of experience' don't mean sh!t anymore - he keeps on using it as an excuse to say whatever horsesh!t he tried to justify in front of the media and suffice to say, it makes him look pathetic. And exactly how successful were his 30 years? The guy's around 50 or so (same age as my dad) - that means he's been in the ent. industry since he was at least 20 and he sure as hell wasn't an entertainer throughout his life (unlike SM, JYP and YG). I wouldn't be surprised if he cut a lot of corners to get to the position of CEO. No doubt that he has no idea how to understand the mentality of an overworked entertainer - after all, he was never one himself. That effectively makes his 30 years of experience fly out of the window.
On the side note, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the more extreme fans of T-ara actually have something nasty planned for KKS. If sasaeng fans are able to break into the dorms of their beloved idols, find out their phone numbers and infiltrate the backstage areas of concerts, I've no doubt that vandalizing KKS's car or office will be any more difficult. With all the attention he's directed towards himself, things will get ugly.
In the long run, it's very highly likely T-ara will follow JYJ, Han Geng and KARA. The dynamite has been lit - the question is when it will explode and cause a major storm.

To be "fair" to the detriment of how good they could sound ? That's your excuse...fairness? lol When you blatantly know as a T-ara stan that it's everything CCM isn't. Groups can't get even distribution of lines when members' singing abilities aren't on par, some are lacking. You know it's not possible for t-ara. Better admit that you're only unhappy because your bias for once didn't get as much screentime and lines as usual or expected.

I think it'd be better if they got to focus on vocal skills and work on the second album for July rather than doing free concerts. The girls already have more than enough work to deal. So far, getting a break at this point is an unrealistic option to beg for since to KKS, the word 'break' doesn't exist in that brainless skull of his - so why not put ALL efforts into the second album and vocal lessons instead? It's not like T-ara's popularity is at risk of being overtaken by any other group or fading away in the public's mindsets.
April is already coming to a close and I'm getting the impression that CCM hasn't really done much work with the second album. Which goes to say, it wouldn't surprise me if the album itself was delayed by a few weeks over some lousy reason.
Last but not least - if it's going to be a free concert, then who the hell's actually gonna pay for all the stage sets, organizing, costumes etc.?

Who knows, this MV is probably the last time Boram ever gets to have some decent screentime before the member additions and promotion of the second album's title track occurs.
Ji Yeon's still the most popular member of T-ara to make up for lack of lines AND screentime. I don't see anyone else in T-ara overtaking her that way, minus Eun Jung.

Scatter_88mil reacted to FreakyFlyBri in [12.04.25] Video - Japanese "Lovey-Dovey"
In Korea, this is true. In Japan it is a different story. Just because Jiyeon is a hot commodity in Korea does not mean that it's the same case in other territories, and truth be told Qri and Boram seem to have their fair share of Japanese fans (hence why Boram received more lines and screen time this time around...if she gets shafted in Korea they usually make up for it by giving her more air time in Japan on their singles and videos...usually).
    Anyways, on to the pros:
*Boram got more screen time. This was probably the biggest highlight of the video and song for me as I was getting really sick of seeing her pushed to the back and forgotten about. She sounded and looked good (well, as good as you're going to sound or look considering the quality of the video and song).
*Save for Jiyeon, all of the girls looked fantastic. Jiyeon just looked kind of disinterested and sounded as much. I think this whole mess regarding the member additions and KKS's ridiculous bully tactics have worn on her, probably moreso than some of the other girls. It's not surprising since she's still pretty young and probably isn't as adept at hiding her feelings as some of the others are.
*The ending was great, although a bit sad...I can't remember who said it but someone commenting on this article mentioned that there's a bit of poignancy to the ending as it kind of reflects the real-life situation the girls are in...this is probably the last time we'll see the seven of them as a whole unit before the changes KKS have been mentioning take effect. So to see them dancing off like that at the end is a bit sad...it's the last time T-ara will be known as 7-ara, and who knows what other changes will be taking effect.
    Now for the cons:
*The lighting, editing, hell, the overall quality of the video was shoddy and not up to par with T-ara's Korean efforts or even their other Japanese efforts. While the video for J-Lies was kind of cheap looking, at least it was cheap looking in a pretty way. This is a dim, seizure inducing hot mess. You can't even really discern their shuffle dance due to all the quick cuts in the video.
*I'm not sure who's doing the blending and autotune for T-ara's Japanese tracks, but I just need to say that J-Roly-Poly and now J-Lovey-Dovey sound absolutely horrible, and this person needs to be fired, ASAP. They sound like they're singing karaoke over the instrumentals, and it sounds just as cheap as the video looks. To this day J-Yayaya sounds the best out of any of their Japanese tracks Japanese wise, which I guess isn't much of a stretch since the majority of the song is jibber-jabber anyways.
All in all I'd say this is their weakest Japanese effort to date, and it really pisses me off that so little thought is being put into their venture into the Japanese market. T-ara has all the hallmarks of being absolutely huge in Japan if properly managed, so to see CCM/EMI squander this golden opportunity all in the name of making a quick buck is frustrating to no end. I always thought T-ara would be one of the lucky ones who survived the inevitable K-Pop collapse in Japan once the Hallyu wave died down over there, but I'm not so sure at this point. They don't spend nearly as much time in Japan as they need to to cultivate a fanbase, and their Japanese material is as weak as their Korean material is strong. It needs to be said that I don't blame the girls for this at all, since none of it is in their control...it's just a shame that they're being so poorly managed, especially since they could easily one of the biggest girl groups in Asia if just given the right opportunities.

I figured something was wrong when the Roly Poly 2 musical was to be out this summer, which is in the middle of T-ara's Japanese tour and release and promotion of the second album. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put it at that date sure as hell doesn't have much logic in their brain.
Which goes to say, it's good that they got at least something to lessen their workload - but doing a tour in June and promoting the second album at the very next month is still too much.

Nah,I don't think Davichi will combine with T-ara.Both of them have totally different styles. While Davichi is more like a ballad group and they don't consider as an idol since idol dance and sing at the same time,T-ara is a group that produce catchy songs (of course, some of them are ballad). We all know Soyeon,Hyomin and Eunjung a.k.a S.H.E are good singers but no one can deny how powerful Davichi are when you talk about vocals. They are indeed widely regarded as one of the TOP 10 (or even TOP 5) best female singers in Korea. If they join T-ara,The S.H.E will "sink" and it will only lead to fan wars and a huge flak between the groups.

As said, these fans operate in the dark and only keep to themselves, making them outcasts even amongst the more devoted fans. If they did vandalized his car or something like that, CCM or KKS himself would obviously try to keep it under the rug - he obviously can't make himself look like the victim due to his recently epic decisions of stupidity - which has already done enough to make netizens point fingers at him (and I'm assuming you know how nutty and dangerous Korean netizens can be).

Hmm, I'm a bit skeptical about this.
CCM clearly stated that the girls won't be doing any acting for 2012, and yet they're signed into an agency specializing in acting management? Possibly, it could be to hone So Yeon, Ji Yeon, Eun Jung and Hyomin's acting in preparation for the Roly Poly 2 musical scheduled for June. If that's the case, then the girls' workload has only increased by another load. On the other side of the coin, it would at least give Boram and Qri some decent chance of having to do something to get some spotlight - though with the Japanese tour and second album only a few months away, they'd also have to deal with choreography practicing as well as interviews, CFs and God-knows-what-else-that-can-increase-your-workload crap.
Furthermore, is Management Koo a company really that can resist heavy pressure from KKS? Or is it just a subsidiary behind the scenes? Or is it a company that just kisses up to KKS's ass? Only time will tell, I guess.

Personally, I don't think we should 'boycott' their album or anything like that, cos that's like showing our displeasure at T-ARA, and I'm sure that's not our intention. The only way these arrogant CEOs ever take note of their fans, is when they cause a big scene, eg suju's Only 13 thing. And unless we're planning to do that, I honestly don't think anything else we do will make a diff. Because seriously, will KKS even care?
I was wondering if any of you have seen that article about Tara's reactions to the member additions, and honestly I think it's just a load of BS. I mean honestly, as a group that has worked so hard together since 2009, you guys actually come up and say that, "Oh yeah. They're better than us. We're really glad they're here to help us to make us become better cos we're not a very talented group!" seriously? The first thought that flashed across my mind was pure incredulity. Then I realised : that jerk KKS must have been threatening and monitoring them. Why else would they say something like that? It really just doesn't make sense, unless the members are Jiwon and Jiae, which is so freaking impossible. That, or they have the patience and acceptance of saints.
On a side note, I was reading the article about the CEO of Open World Entertainment harassing his own artists and idols...and for a moment my heart stopped. I don't know why, but my mind immediately asked itself, "KKS isn't a ******* enough to do this sort of thing right?" But honestly, right now I'm really scared. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but the thought that KKS might have been sexually bullying Tara just makes so scared, and yet so mad too.

The posts before me make I think about somethings.
First we don't necessary boycott T-ara to make their salaries and fame go down. We can send them money + download album instead buying it. That way, T-ara still have money and their fame , ( maybe their fame will go up cuz their fans resort to such a weird manner LOL). The best thing about it is CCM won't have any money at all. Better yet, if we can persuade others do the same to any CD sale from CCM, ( give Davichi money instead of buying it). A fact that when we buy any album, in reality it's only 30% (or even less) of those money really go into T-ara pocket.
In reality, It's hard to execute because we are international fans and we don't know each others. Even if we are Korean, We don't trust each others, and we don't have any one to lead us. We are strong but we are without one that we can trust. If only we have one that can safely transfer at least 1 mil dollar over a period of time to 7-ara, without getting greedy. We can get not only one but maybe 20 people watching each other doing the same job to make sure nothing fishy going on.
About another subjects, I personally don't think KKS is dumb or ordinary. I think he is too smart, way too smart for his heartlessness. He calculate every thing , every little step that make his plan work perfectly fine. Think back about it, CCM announce T-ara will be change, either add, minus or replace back about one and a half months ago. At that time, we worried about T-ara being replaced the most , cuz it's the most drastic. Then now, he say that it's only addition. Too frustrated about replacement, we are subconsciously more acceptance toward additional members the better options.
I see many fans are saying " I am fine with addition, at least he won't replace them" . I am kinda sad, we are playing on KKS hands and we don't even know it. And then finally , we thought he is finally announcing the new members. He want to reveal them on July, that's 3 months from now. At that time , We has already calm down, because our body can't hold anger that long. Alot of us will accept the news, move forward in our lives. We became either eager to see their new albums, or sadness because of the change. Both of them don't drive fans to retaliate against KKS and he knew it. He purposely dragging the news longer and longer till the opposing force eventually dies down.
In the end, both T-ara and us fans are the toys in KKS hands. We experience frustration and heartbroken from the news. While we see it as terrible, T-ara have it worse, they have to share salaries, fame, and singing lines, every one of them are the same situation now. Soyeon just have a chance to shine as the main vocal of T-ara will have to give her lines to new members. Others member will have even less lines and screen time. When T-ara became famous, Qri and Boram will finally start gaining their own fans. When new members get in, in the future, any T-ara fans doesn't like the S.H.E.J Boram and Qri will have even less chance to have them as their own fans. In short, popular members get obviously less attention, while the less popular will withered away.
As in T-ara side, they say that they accept the member change. There is a really high chance that they are being force to say that by KKS . On the other hands there is a chance that they already accept it. T-ara is closer to the problem and know it sooner than us,and they see it as an unchangable outcome, they are frustrated , but they chose to smile to it instead of frowning. And really, who want to think about such an depressing thing when you sleep like less than 4 hour a days? I am really sad to think that they became like this when facing the problem. It mean that they don't want to care about their personal's right anymore.
I wish them to live happy, work hard, eat a lot, and have enough rest. That all we want for them. T_T

    Excellent post there, mate.
I'd also like to add that not only will they get a huge lot of antis and flak from the fans and even the public in general but that what the responses of the current T-ara members will be.
Ji Yeon, Hyomin and Eun Jung (and So Yeon to a smaller degree) are the more overworked members and I really doubt they'd be too happy to see the new members just riding along the hard-earned popularity they worked tooth-and-nail constantly for 3 years. Boram and Qri's reactions wouldn't be any better either since they'll have even lesser lines in the future and rather than be kicked out, they'll be pressured by KKS and themselves to leave (and suffice to say, I'd imagine Boram's dad will be very pissed off if that occurs).
I can't say much what Hwa Young's reaction will be but nonetheless, I don't think it'll be a surprise if the other six members will have a cold relationship with the new ones, regardless how talented the new ones are.
For KKS's definition of not being lazy = I think it's pretty darn obvious. His definition of not being lazy is to work 24/7 as much as possible - literally. The guy's no different to the typical bosses of coal mines and factories in the 19th century. He even makes SM look like saints to a degree.
What I'm more curious is how successful his 30 years of experience was because he's giving off the impression to use his decades of exp. as an excuse to say whatever horsesh!t he wants to justify. And to say specifically, it's a pathetic excuse to say the least.

In another couple of years, T-ara very likely would have filed a lawsuit against CCM and moved to another agency or in a worst case scenario, disband completely by then.
They've managed to hold out for 3 years but as GD of Big Bang had said - idols at their third year since debut get the tendency to rebel against their agencies. YG even almost lost Big Bang at some point in 2008/2009 due to the group being overworked and compensated by giving a 2-month break rather than tighten everything even further.
Given that KKS is obviously a big cuckoo who was born in cuckoo land, I don't think it'd be surprising that T-ara will rebel further against KKS, ultimately leaving CCM for good. The tighter he controls them, the more disillusioned, angered and rebelling T-ara will become.

I believe it's due to these reasons.
    a. T-ara itself is simply not prepared or too afraid to go up against KKS
    b. Their contract doesn't expire until some years after
    c. KKS has blackmailed/threatened them behind the scenes, somehow.
But nonetheless, I believe fans should prepare themselves for something really ugly later this year, at least a few months after the second album is released. The girls aren't stupid, that's one thing and their patience with KKS is probably growing incredibly thin. The powder keg has already been lit - the question is WHEN it will explode over KKS's face.
I wouldn't be surprised if T-ara filed a lawsuit against him - and no doubt, CCM would lose. Not even SM was able to hold out against lawsuits filed by its own idols - and SM is the most financially powerful of all talent agencies in Korea. If SM can't win a lawsuit, CCM won't last any better. There's a reason why YG gave Big Bang a 2 month break when the group itself tried to run away from him back in 2008/2009. The last thing any agency needs is dealing with a lawsuit.

Yes,I've read the news too and I am absolutely agree with what the write wrote.
This notorious man is downright insane. He has the gut to tell the whole world that T-ara's members are lazy, prideful, thinking highly of themselves and talking BS to his biggest money maker.Yes,I can be consider as a hardcore fan of T-ara but their CEO is simply I can't never accept.I don't hate the company but a long as that douchebag is still holding the position,I believe the artistes and we,as a fan won't be too happy about it.
Tortured, threaten, mental bullying, fatigue and more to come..I wonder how much can the girls take before they explode. You don't have to be an Einstein to figure out that he's only crazy for money and care the least about the artistes that are under his company. This is one the reasons why CCM will never be in the line with the Big 3 - namely SM,YG and JYP.They treated their artiste like a family and KKS treated them more than a slave.
I really wanna wake up someday and read a news titled "T-ara Soyeon fired back at their CEO and backing up the girls".But,on second thought,NO..If KKS can openly says something harsh and downright rude to the public,I bet he dares to fire any member that is blocking his way. This is what happen is someone holds a very high position but misused it.It's scarier than seeing a ghost movie.I wonder if this is one of the reasons why Jiae and Jiwon left CCM ...
    T-ara should pull a KARA....
