  1. I'll just put you right back to the Donor Status to get the perks.

The VIP Vault section, has been moved to the Donors' Lounge. Just to refresh your memory, the way that section works is that Donors get our subbed releases two (2) days before the rest of the forum. "The rest of the forum" being people with posts 50 and up. That will continue to work as it used to.

However, subbed releases posted in the Exclusive Content section of the Donors' Lounge will not be available to regular members. Only Donors will get access to these videos. These are special videos/projects that staff have prepared for Donors only. If you wish to have access to this exclusive content, you must donate first.

The Diadem Subs team have started working on "Special Projects" for our Donors. Like I mentioned before, these Special Project videos will only be for Donors and will be posted under Exclusive Content. In the future, we will have more than videos and subtitles for Donors, but for now, it's just the special videos.

As for your comment regarding not having seen things from Diadem Subs in a long time, we release 2-3 videos, including Princess T-ara on a weekly basis. All these releases are Public Releases. Having said that, those are completely different from the perks we are to offer our Donors from here on out.

    Thanks Elly.

I guess the Exclusive ones come with the color. Good bye to being blue and short-lived green. :P

Time to check out the Restricted Exclusive stuff. :)

PS: apologies to craZy (and possibly another staff member) for the hassle of switching me back to member. This time around, I'd stay pink-ish. And thanks for all the help.

  2. I knew it, mainly a compilation (except didn't expect the solo songs to be excluded) plus 2 (or 3) Japanese originals and 1 translated single from Korean. Strange though they picked Wanna Play (probably better if they picked the other songs from AFA/BH -- probably going first with the songs that T-ara has performed).

Hope the new songs are really good (and hopefully avoid being translated like the original songs from JB -- but with the trend, does not seem like it).

But regardless how the earlier statements sound, I wish for continued success to T-ara. :)

  3. One Piece! (no double meaning reference here :P)

"So, you wanna be my friend?" What would your answer be if T-ara asks this question? Mine is obvious. :D

What's next, head protectors and hakama? Okay, I'll stop with the manga/anime-ish references. -_-

But, I do like their covers for Target (maybe because it being manga/anime looking). They are cute and still recognizable. And I do hope Target does well, even if it seems to be an interim single. :)

  4. With QBS started their promotions, out of this sub-unit, who do you think is the Visual?

Personally, it's a hard choice, with that Mainichi part 2 (PV shooting). I'd suspect it would be harder once the MV will be released. Enough ranting, go ahead and start voting! :)

And here are the lovely ladies of QBS!

PS: if you're also interested, a similar poll is made for N4: http://www.tiaradiadem.com/forums/topic/24816-poll-best-visual-for-t-ara-n4/?p=416595

  5. I'm thinking what if we could have a checklist on T-ara (e.g. albums, MVs, performances, shows, etc)?

I know we already have sections for things like milestones as well as likes for Lyrics and Videos (and the posts on T-ara performances by year). I know it might be redundant, but might be useful to have an index/checklist for newer members or those who like to collect/complete 100% of anything T-ara related. It would be pretty complex, especially tracking

I know it might be a bit complex, but I'd be happy to provide with whatever I have on hand (possibly have staff members edit it as needed).

Best I could think of is something similar to Excel but that format may not be feasible in this forum. Instead something like this:

    [Albums]

    Absolute First Album

    {track listing}

Breaking Heart (Absolute First Album repackage)

same track listing as AFA but with the following new songs:

    01 IGCBOY

    02 IRH

03-16 same as AFA, in same order, move down track numbers accordingly

    [Music Videos]

    Good Person ver. 1

    Good Person ver. 2

    Geojitmal (Lies)

    Geojitmal (Lies) Summer ver

    [Dramas]

    Coffee House (Eunjung)

God of Study (Jiyeon) - cameo appearances of other T-ara members

    [Variety Shows]

    T-ara Variety Shows

    T-ara World (2 eps)

    T-ara Dot Com (4 eps)

    Other Variety Shows

    Invincible Youth season 1

    Heroes

I thought of this since I personally want to track down anything T-ara related. Also, it would seem a good pairing in what is provided in the General Forum Rules where it states members are encouraged to direct other members to other T-ara content.

If not all (which is possibly harder to do than the Milestones), then possibly a T-ara 101 (MVs, T-ara Variety Shows, Albums), then maybe later add an "Advanced" sub-section (Perfs, Guestings, etc).

Let me know if this idea is feasible, else just delete the topic.

    Cheers.

  6. Some people do. But unless we could petition for a name change, then that i how things are. Or, you could just say you're a 'fan' or 'supporter', though I'm against the tag of "fan", due to its connotation.

Personally, being labeled as belonging to a fandom is awkward, but then again, it's an easier way to say, especially in relations with other fandoms.

And for the record, it's "Queen's".

  7. Maximize promotions on two "fronts" then converge for their 2nd Japanese album then on their comeback in Korea. It seems a good strategy, like better exposure for individual members.

I hope any success or positive feedback they receive overseas will translate to better reception in SK (but that's a tall order). But regardless of the past, it's good that they are up and having activities.

Let's support the girls (in whatever incarnation they happen to be) for their continued success.

    T-ara/N4/QBS fighting/good luck/gambatte kudasai!!! :)

  8. @aoi I'd assume they'll do remixes of the song to suit each rapper's style. Just doing straight out translation seem a waste. Plus those rappers likely want to put their stamp on the song. I just find it strange at first that 5 different rappers would do a collaboration; but then again that's the purpose of collaborations -- perceived/expected mutual benefit. In this case, T-ara to make a footprint in the US market (at least with Asian-Americans/hiphop fans) and the CB and company to make headway with Kpop audiences.

But just as discussions we have on Shoutbox, best they avoid the paths used by other Kpop artists; instead use radio airplay and similar approach to reach into the American psyche. Long term success is still doubtful, but T-ara doing better than those before them would really be great.

  9. It seems nice that T-ara gets exposed in the US/world stage, but I hope it is not at the expense of their Asian activities. I could say, the US/Western market can be much more fickle, and promoting away from their usual support bases may alienate T-ara from their 'core' support.

But in any event, wish them the best. A door has been opened, so why not take the opportunity. As for those with doubts/skepticism, let's see how the whole thing unfolds. No use in spending the energy on negativity -- even if T-ara does fail, they ain't the first group to do so. And if they succeed, a bit more here and there (nothing long term for different reasons) -- my only fear for success is other groups are likely to capitalize and bandwagon on them...

PS: F-I-V-E (5) English versions? Those artists must really found something they can relate to with CSD ;) And should we expect a much less restraint in terms of lyrics?

  10. Not to burst everyone's bubble, there may not be much to this (i.e. one-time thing). All I'm saying is, don't be too hyped than things will go big (it all can go bust instead). T-ara still lacks in a couple of areas (language barrier and Dani's inexperience comes to mind). But, if the girls some success in that side of the world, then why not?

Their recent US trip seems more like an introductory trip -- testing the waters on how T-ara reception would be like.

As always, sit back and see what happens. Whether they make headways in the US or not, one thing is sure, it would be interesting what they would do.

PS: as Eunjung attested, face bad news/rumors with indifference. A worthy thing to emulate (to all Queen's). :)

  11. Cool! Consideirng most of us are wondering how the unnies are! Thought announcement would be later as to give more attention to N4 (but with the US trip, I think it's timely to do announce QBS -- give both units attention in more or less equal measure).

How come they have 1 less song? The title sounds like it's an anime theme (which won't be bad either). Besides the song, what concept will they do? Will it be something like in Qri's selca?

Not sure how QBS will promote this time (though I anticipate at least Mainichi QBS). But better if they have more guestings and activities.

    QBS Fighting... Gambatte kudasai! :)

  12. Good luck to the girls. And I hope they (CCM) won't force their way into the US market like other acts/agencies did. Trying to make serious attempts will just be a disaster in the making (their English skills alone would be a hindrance).

Quote: "aim small, miss small". Much like what they did for their Japan promotes or Asian showcases, best to start little and slowly.

But overall, I wish T-ara the best and hope they gain something out of their trip there.

  13. Highly skeptical whenI first heard it (know beater + rumored bullies). It seems more like CB will get more out of this, and T-ara left with, more... hate (assumed that is still possible).

They tried to win people over by being honest and crying (Beatles code 2), but sympathy has no effect on their haters. So might as well go down the route they started with JWD/CSD.

So long as T-ara comes out better after this, then all I have to say, why not?

Happy, skeptic, or plain dislike, let's wait and see what happens. And hope for the best.

PS: so Dani's role is T-ara's (English) interpreter. Makes sense, at least no one will criticize her for lacking any knowledge in the language. And there is Dani (will this be her debut?).
