Elly Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 7-member girl group T-ara made their second mini-album comeback performance wearing overlapping stockings. On the 3rd, T-ara made a comeback on KBS2TV's Music Bank and the initial short shorts that were to be used for their performance was not allowed to be worn by the Music Bank crew. Therefore, T-ara ended up wearing stockings to follow these dress regulations. T-ara's crew had to rush out quickly to grab another layer of stockings for the girls. Although all this commotion happened, T-ara was able to deliver a great stage with their tracks 'YaYaYa' and 'Why Are You Like This?'. *** Source: http://news.nate.com/view/20101203n21433 Written by: Lim Joohee Translated by: Elly @ Diadem (some bits of the article may be off, but I hope I got most of the gist of it~! ) Weird.
tikaluph Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 well, weird regulations. LOL! is that really short until they couldnt wear that? hhhmmmm...~ thx for translating, Elly
xjannyx Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 Oh the regulations that apply to all girl groups except SNSD. Ridiculous. leehsiaolung 1
reik056 Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 well I can't seem to picture what their costumes suppose to look like Does anybody have pic of it?(the original costume) Well if it's the one in the mv then I don't know what's wrong with that. Anyway nice that our girls are back
Geoffuri Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 Thanks for translating! Glad to see T-ara back on stage really love them
zpic Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 I don't understand.. what it means? Which short shorts is short ?? LOL! I think the power of nine always wear a short shorts.. and many other too.. LOL..
DiyanLovesT-ara Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 YAYAYAYAYAYA!! <--- I would say this to the person who made MB's dress regulations. I'm sure its not that short where by just looking at it, your mouth drops.. so many girl groups have worn those kind of shorts.. guess you can never have perfect fairness in this world.
Izumi Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 seriously i want to see mubank yesterday... but the connection here is so bad.... bet their comeback stage is ddaebak!!! i really miss them since breaking heart....
Freda_gonong Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 That was really unfair.....then why did they let SNSD wear those shorts when they performed HOOT!?
PKH Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 Oh the regulations that apply to all girl groups except SNSD.Ridiculous. I totally agree with you on that. Seems like SNSD doesn't get no regulations. It IS ridiculous! leehsiaolung 1
Hyuga Gin Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 they should avoid thgs like that in future... bcus they are an idol... supposed to be a role model... but still.. love T-ara so much!
Nandin Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 What? this doesnt make any sense! I mean... there are so many girlgroups wearing shorts 0.o T-ara had so much clothes on that it woudnt matter if they were wearing stockings or not...
Rotary Knight Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 Im just wondering how short were the short shorts... o_O
Juliette Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 The performance was great and that's what matter... just a question: they were really that short the shorts???
Vagabond Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 The Music Bank Crew is gay! I wanna' see HwaYoung and EunJung's legs dammit!
Aoshi916 Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 = / not cool... i'm a soshi fan, but i also really like t-ara as well when i see SNSD, i see a mixed elements of cuteness, sexiness, and all that jazz but nothing is really defined, but when i see t-ara - they just seem ready to explode powerful sexiness (especially hyomin lol)
morrirbleda Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 Ah, so they're supposedly use shorts. Strange, what's faulty about that??? it's not like they're gonna strip or anything
josiexjo Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 Those regulations are ridiculous, to be honest. And why are they not applied to SNSD too? I mean, I ike the girls but it's unfair to the rest of the girl groups -.- And besides, short shorts are not as bad as they want to make them appear.
Hyomin jjang!! Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 It is totally a mess. How could they do this to T-ara? Perhaps they want to sabotage? Maybe SNSD need shorts to be sexy and other girl groups can't. The producers are being bias. Playing favoritism, eh? No matter what, T-ara's performance was absolutely daebak!! They looked really cute!! Can't wait for their next stage performance. =D
Dicetrain Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 I'm guessing it was super short like what Fei in Miss A wore back in the Good Girl Bad Girl days (before new regulations) with thigh-high stockings. And yes that would be totally hot! KBS is the strictest one, so they might still wear them on a different show.
Diane Posted December 3, 2010 Report Posted December 3, 2010 ^ Yeah, if you look closely it's super short. Besides, Hwayoung and Jiyeon are underage. Don't start pointing fingers at SNSD when all their members are 20+ (in Korean age).
lem Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 These new dress codes are more absurd than my school's dress code, at least for me.. Thanks for sharing and translating. Also, please no hatin' on other groups, It was really uncalled for..
breakingheart_ Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 i understand why they are doing this but i think music bank is a bit biased i see heaps of underaged girl groups showing heaps of skin
t-aranwaterjewel Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Oh they had a regulation like that, I wonder what the original outfit was like. I didn't know. But I still like their performance So cool, cute, adorable & more!
hye091 Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 Weird regulations. Perhaps Music Core & Inkigayo won't be that strict. But anyway, they look gorgeous in the outfit
