SNSD having more members means if they have the same average popularity per member they'd have more total fans as a group (although it doesn't necessarily work that way in real life). Also, their lineup has never changed since they debuted so they are all really familiar. I like them too but I really haven't been bitten by the bug of any of their songs from The Boys. T-ara have definitely been the better K-pop group this year.
