[13.05.22] T-ara N4 to be special guests at Wiz Khalifa's concert on the 24th

Girl group T-ara's unit T-ara N4 will share the stage with American hip-hop artist Wiz Khalifa (26).

According to T-ara N4's management company Core Contents Media, T-ara N4 was invited to be a guest at Wiz Khalifa's concert in Las Vegas.

T-ara N4 will join Wiz Khalifa on stage for a joint performance of "Jeonwon Diary".

Wiz Khalifa is an American hip-hop singer who featured in the American band Maroon 5's hit song "Payphone" and T-Pain's "5 O'Clock" as a rapper. He became known after he had a duet with Snoop Dogg called "Young, Wild & Free". Last year, he won the Best Newcomer award at the Billboard Music Awards.

T-ara N4 will also make an appearance at Chris Brown's concert on the 26th.

I'm not sure just how old this article is, but it seems promising. Joint stage with Chris Brown, sounds interesting too. I can't wait to see how it comes together for all of them. I hope everybody has lots of fun with the girls. Party in Vegas!

I absolutely can't wait for T-ara N4's big US debut and I know that everyone will love the girls. And as for the new choreography and fashion for their song, I will love it even if they show some skin and do suggestive dancing. I don't have any worries or concerns at all. I just remain optimistic about their upcoming performance and I know that they're going to have a whole lotta fun in the US starting this coming Memorial Day weekend as they do their American activities. I'm definitely ready for T-ara N4 to come to the US

Chris Brown will hold a concert at the Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas on May 26th (local time). They will present a new arrangement and version of "Jeonwon Diary" on stage with Chris Brown.

T-ara N4 will work with the choreographer FLII STYLZ and his dance team on updating "Jeonwon Diary" choreography. T-ara N4 also plan to change up their clothing and hairstyles for a new look in America.

T-ara N4 will leave on the 25th at 3:15 PM KST for LA. They will arrive on the 25th in LA (local time) and go to choreography rehearsals and on the 26th, they will move to Las Vegas for Chris Brown's concert.

lol they can always bring dani along with them for the english parts like when snsd where on live with kelly only tiffany spoke at it was fine if they were to get onto that show it would be for a performance short interview like its not like they'd be the main guest or anything , same with letterman snsd didn't even do an interview on there so n4 should be fine if they were to also get on those shows which i hope because then they can finally come to ny, and opinions of chris brown's personal life aside he's very popular and relevant in the us and his albums always sell a lot so n4 working with him is a good thing instead of working with irrelavent people like that random girl group the wonder girls worked with

[13.05.20] T-ara N4 announces plans to enter the US market

On the afternoon of May 20th, T-ara N4 held a press conference about its plans to enter the US market at Seoul Imperial Palace Hotel. Members Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon and Areum attended the press conference and expressed their aspirations for their future in the US.
On the afternoon of May 20th, T-ara N4 held a press conference about its plans to enter the US market at Seoul Imperial Palace Hotel. Members Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon and Areum attended the press conference and expressed their aspirations for their future in the US.
On May 12th, on invitation from well-known American artist Chris Brown, T-ara N4 traveled to the US for 5 days 4 nights. Member Eunjung expressed, "Although we received an invitation from Chris Brown, we still wondered whether we would really meet him. We were very excited. He was very welcoming and treated us well, we are thankful for that. We also discussed music and production plans. There were many good things that we had never even imagined before."
Eunjung added that the following day, T-ara N4 received any invitation from Youtube channel network company “Freestyle,” and the members visited the company about the possibility of a T-ara Channel. Footwear brand “Vlado”, famous among hiphop dancers, also extended an invitation to T-ara N4. “More fans that we had expected came and so we held a fansign for a few hours. Vlado also proposed to make custom shoes with the T-ara N4 logo. Singer Ray J spoke about us on twitter and so we had the chance to meet and discuss music with famous producer team "1500 or Nothin."
The members said "We had a successful meeting through a good opportunity and was able to discuss our plans to enter the US market. After meeting with Chris Brown, we also met with a lot of good opportunities. We are very lucky. We feel a lot of pressure on our shoulders and will work even harder in the future. About our trip to the US, the other members asked us when we will return to Korea and said we still haven't watched Iron Man 3 together."
Hyomin revealed that a remake of "Jeonwon Diary" will be released in 5 versions and the rap parts currently done by SPEED’s Taewoon will be done by Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, T-Pain, Ray J and Chris Brown. The song is scheduled to be released in June in the US and also worldwide at the same. Eunjung added, "We will sing our parts in Korean, and the rap parts by the other artists will be in English."
Jiyeon also revealed, "We will be leaving for the US on the 25th to perform the opening stage for Chris Brown's solo concert in Las Vegas. We are very nervous but we want to show our good side in our first performance in the US."
Areum added that they are planning to attend the BET Awards with Chris Brown on June 30th. "Although it still feels surreal, we are very happy."
Asked about the backstory to the meeting with Chris Brown, Eunjung said, “There really is no special backstory. T-ara trainee Dani attended Chris Brown's concert, and told him about T-ara and “Jeonwon Diary.” After watching our MV, Chris Brown really liked the song and asked whether he can see us directly. We suddenly went to the US in the midst of our promotions.”
Hyomin, “Many parts actually happened spontaneously. We visitied Chris Brown’s MV set, and we suddenly received an invitation to cameo in his MV. But because our hair and makeup etc had not been prepared, we regretfully couldn’t appear in his MV. Just like this, many things actually happened without plan, and we are also looking forward to see what will happen when we visit Las Vegas this time.”
Eunjung: "Before our debut, we felt that we would already be lucky if we could gain popularity domestically." "Because of the popularity of K-pop, we naturally started our Japan activities like other K-Pop singers. Our US activities also happened like this and started really suddenly. From now on, we will prepare accordingly regarding music and language.”
The Director of CCM's overseas marketing team Lee Jintaek revealed that T-ara N4 has signed a contract with Empire Records (a subsidiary of Universal Recrods) for the re-release of “Jeonwon Diary”.
He said of the good results from T-ara N4's US trip, "T-ara N4 received a lot of attention and love in the US. In particular, they met with Chris Brown and many other producers and received good appraisals from them."
The reporters asked whether this focus on the overseas activities was to avoid the negative response from the public after the Hwayoung controversy last year. About this, Eunjung said "We felt that an opportunity like this is rar, other than our sudden plans to go to the US, our other schedules will still proceed according to plan. Other than T-ara N4, the rest of the members will also be continuing their Japan sub-unit activities. They will be filming for their MV next week in Japan."
Eunjung added that, "We think that what we will demonstrate and show to everyone in the future is the most important. Whether on stage or somewhere else, we will demonstrate our genuine, honest, prudent and good appearance, so please anticipate our future activities and give us a lot of support. K-pop has received a lot of attention, not only from the US but also from other countries, so we feel a sense of responsibility to work hard and carefully in the future.”

A huge THANK YOU to Diadem and fans in California for helping out T-ara in the U.S.!
I don't think it's rushed, more like rearranging their schedules. I don't believe they were expecting love calls from the U.S. producers and artists not long after T-ara N4's debut. Sometimes this can happen in the business and entertainment worlds.
Beside the whole "Blaming Kim Kwang Soo Thingy", I think he's doing the best he can right now. Opportunity knocking on the company doors from the U.S., he's wise enough to talk things out to see if working with them is possible, thanks to Dani. And so far, the news lately are quite positive, as antis continue to desperately try to bring the fandom down and their sad lame attempts to attack Core Contents Media and T-ara.
Yes, I hope their collaboration becomes a success too.
That's understandable, but please consider it this way, Chris Brown will be one the few in the U.S. who will be able to truthfully witness and testify how capable they are, and recommend T-ara to other U.S. artists and producers, because he has worked with them. Plus, there are other potential artists, like T.I., who could be next after, or same with Chris Brown, to collaborate with T-ara as well. Please remember, this is like building workable creditability in the U.S. by having artists and producers to say T-ara is great to work with and make good and/or great music together. But we shall see how it comes together.
Yes, that is possible, however, if things are shaping up to be truthfully to what is being reported, it seems more unlikely that this is hype. Language shouldn't be that much of a problem, and Dani is learning and doing well so far.
Well, it is their first time making such a trip to the U.S.
I agree, it will be interesting. It will be very wise to wait and see what will happen, and continue to support them.
I swear that Eunjung quote will be remembered and emulated by fans everywhere.

[13.05.18] T-ara, "We will return to America in June to work with Chris Brown!"

T-ara N4 (Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon and Areum) left for America on the 12th after receiving a love call from Chris Brown, and on the 17th, they returned back to resume activities.

When they returned, OBS "Unique Entertainment News" was there.

At the airport, there were lots of fans and despite the long flight and being tired, T-ara N4 was smilining and express their thanks to fans and gave autographs. In particular, Hyomin's military-look airport style caught attention.

Eunjung said, "This was my first time in the United States and I had more fun than I expected. Despite having a lot of things to do and waking up early, I had so much fun."

Hyomin then happily said, "We had planned a fan meeting, but did not expect so many people to actually show up. We signed a few autographs. Then, I also got to meet Chris Brown and work with him and do recordings, which I think the outcome of it was good.

Hyomin continued to say, "There are no concrete plans for May, but during June we will once again go to America."

On the 15th, Core Contents Media's homepage was hacked. Eunjung's reaction to this was: "Actually, I didn't pay attention to it."

Maybe there is a method to KKS' madness?
If bad boy Chris Brown does come out with a song/video featuring a "scandalized" cute Korean girl band, I think it will make an interesting story material for the international music press. And hopefully since they are much more respectable & professional journalists than Korean online/tabloid sensationalist reporters they will dig deeper and write more balanced stories on what or who "T-ara" really is.. then voila: widespread International Exposure!
Seriously the world needs to know that T-ara is a loveable group with great music and uniquely awesome members, which got victimized due to several misunderstandings and bad PR decisions.. and because a huge portion of Korean teenagers are bully victims themselves and finds T-ara a "perfect" target to lash out their anger....

WooRi reacted to Emperor Ryu in [13.05.11] Chris Brown sends a love call to T-ara N4, T-ara N4 to travel to LA to meet with him
Chris Brown was arrested on March 5, 2009, which is much longer than T-ara's incident last year, so there's a difference beside the level of severity and consequences that was taken between both parties here. I do not believe you're correct about Kim Kwang Soo only keeping Hyomin, Eunjung, Jiyeon, because Areum is right there with them as a sub-unit, and Jiyeon informing everybody about the Soyeon-Boram-Qri sub-unit later on.
I was told that Girls' Generation will be releasing an English Album this year. 2NE1 is rumored to release one as well, including the Wonder Girls, although that seems like it'll happen next year for them. I remember reading about Rania making a push into the U.S. sometime this month and rumors about talks with signing with a label company. Not sure which one, but I do recall someone mentioning one of Chris Brown's labels. I'm not going to jump to conclusions about any of their works, because I haven't heard and/or seen any of the works to make an accurate assessment. In fact, none of us can make such conclusions until we've seen officially released promotional materials for them. Best to wait for their releases and watch the results unfold. Psy is helping to pave K-Pop a way more accessible into the U.S. market, thanks to previous K-Pop artists before in their attempts to get in as well, even though it didn't yield as much, but in the larger picture, it is progressing better than before.
We're not sure how good their level of English is right now, but Dani is from the U.S., and if I can recall, Tiffany from Girls' Generation did most of the interviews while in our nation.
Again, K-Pop since the late 1990s has vastly improved presently. Even though the measure of success is not on par with the local prominent U.S. artists, that doesn't mean that they're failures, because without such attempts, Psy, Girls' Generation, Wonder Girls, and 2NE1 won't have gotten that much opportunities to perform here. Given how other K-Pop artists are getting into the U.S., like f(x), Rania, and Sistar, K-Pop has been working progressively over the years, because there are fans here. There are way more K-Pop artists getting into the U.S. since the early 2000s, and that alone speaks just how much the genre has improved and still improving.
Please remember that T-ara incident is actually the biggest farce by antis ever in K-Pop history.

His fourth album did top the Billboard 200 upon its release and sold around 270,000 copies during its first week, in early 2011. His "Yeah 3x" single did well too, even internationally, which was rather surprising, but did signify that we've moved on from his wrongful ordeal with Rihanna, even though this incident is already permanent on his life record. Given the positive feedbacks that was received on his comeback, I still believe there's redemption for him to achieve, but still open for debate because of the potential backlash for an alleged accusation that he violated his court sentencing term, and his second break up Rihanna by classically cheating on her with another woman recently. I'll give Chris Brown the benefit to improve himself. As for T-ara working with him, I still do believe it'll be more in favor of T-ara. But, we'll just have to wait and see, because it's still in the negotiation phase and nothing has been finalized on this collaboration.

Well, he did complete his domestic violence courses and was psychologically approved to deal with his own anger management by court order, so I won't overly exaggerate, but will be cautious to be safe when working with him and keep things professional as singers and co-workers, that is, should they complete their negotiations and decide on working together, and have him assist T-ara debuting in the U.S. Please keep in mind, we still don't know when T-ara's U.S. debut will happen. It could next year, or the year after, and there's lots of things that could change during that amount of time.

I don't believe any of those options are viable given the circumstances Chris Brown is currently facing from both the court and the public. He knows if he screws up this opportunity, an international one, he'll be struggling much worse than before in terms of his career and public image. He won't be able to make the level of comeback like his fourth album, should he screw up this one with T-ara.
When his fourth album was released back in 2011, to much of everybody's surprise here in the U.S., international communities sprang forth in support of his single. European countries more notably. But his single with Justin Bieber, "Next To You" peaked at 95 on the GAON Chart, and his "Strip" song reached 43 later on during that year. Suffice to say, South Korea is aware of Chris Brown. As for the reactions here, everybody is reliving the events that happened back in 2009, despite efforts to remind others what has changed since then and what's happening right now. There's a possibility that it could work out for T-ara more than Chris Brown, should this become officially agreed that both him and T-ara will be working together in the U.S., which would be T-ara's debut in our country. We'll just have to wait and see what happens next.

All of us are not sure just how successful this possible T-ara and Chris Brown collaboration is going to be, given the positive results from their comebacks. Image wise, and reputation, aside, it is possible to create a workable collaborative music together. Everybody in the entertainment industry faces that possibility of falling short in their works. The K-Pop industry are actually making more better progression into the U.S. market gradually, seeing how successful BoA, Wonder Girls, 2NE1, Girls' Generation were able to perform way more than previous K-Pop artists.

When searching Chris Brown's earlier days it wasn't this bad, at least he's striving to redeem himself now than never, which is a good thing. As for T-ara, some of the antis still can't handle the truth from the members themselves, which still makes them rather pathetic. Some of other antis have changed for the better, which is good.

They are still in the negotiating phase in light of these media reports on it. Nothing is finalized yet. I don't think it would tarnish T-ara's image, considering Chris Brown has his own to worry about. Since lots people don't believe in the antis against T-ara, and some antis becoming fans again, thanks to N4, T-ara is in a much better position to gain from this.

Lots of things that could happen in the future for everybody, but considering the positive feedbacks for both T-ara N4's and Chris Brown's comebacks there might be a possible workable collaboration that could be beneficial for T-ara. In the actual scope of the K-Pop genre in the U.S., it has been gradually getting better and better, seeing how successful Psy has become recently. Other K-Pop artists before Girls' Generation, Wonder Girls, and 2NE1 helped open the possibilities for the genre's future prospects to become even more co-existent in the U.S. than previously. T-ara does study other languages, including English, because there are significant amount of U.S. fans of K-Pop artists.
Chris Rock? That would be quite an surprising and interesting collaboration right here.

Considering that T-ara has improved their image and reputation recently since N4's interview, and antis still running amok with their insanity, while their numbers are decreasing and T-ara support increased, and still increasing, T-ara is in a far better position than Chris Brown, who has a criminal record. Everybody knows that the bullying scandal was a sham and fabricated by antis. Compare that to the irrefutable proof of Rihanna's 911 call and facial injury photos, and his plead of guilty in a court of law, there's a huge, and quite massive difference between our T-ara and Chris Brown. There's no mistake about that. Common sense right now is that they are discussing the possibilities of working together. Nothing is finalized on this. But it does signify that T-ara does have possibilities to work with other artists and promote here in the U.S., which is very good to hear.
Common sense will always remind all of us that human dignity of forgiveness and redemption will prevail so long as the person(s) actions, beliefs, and understanding is unwavering in the face of such life challenges ahead of them. Please remember, humans have the ability to learn from their own mistakes, and by encouraging this, will aide a better possibility for our future. Kim Kwang Soo knows what he's doing by talking things out with Chris Brown first, before making a decision on this. T-ara probably has a mutual respect and understanding on how well Chris Brown is trying to improve himself, and learning from his mistakes, which could help them out. There's also that possibility that Chris Brown could help T-ara in working with other artists too, like Rihanna. We all just have to wait and see what will happen next.
If this collaboration does happen, I believe it'll work more in favor of T-ara and possibly improve a little bit on Chris Brown.
Please note that Psychology and Physics are 2 different fields of study. If both were one in the same field and were true, there will be way more wars throughout our history and justify any unwarranted hatred as a just cause to murder someone, even if that person was simply ugly or made an idiotic comment.

WooRi reacted in [13.04.22] T-ara N4 to work with "Gangnam Style" music video director
errrr There are only 2 common points:
    1. Same director. But this guy starts working with T-ara since Bunny Style, not just now. It's an improvement on CCM side actually. Because the girls normally will get really fast and dizzy dance video if they stay with their old director, but by collaborating with new director (with proofs of performance), CCM can ensure that T-ara MV will be up a notch. In fact, CCM only work with high profile composers and directors. Back then, when Cho Young Soo are always the one who make the most money in Korea (for composer), CCM songs are always composed by him. And then, CCM works with Shinsadong Tiger after the guy proves himself with success songs for Beasts and 4min. After Kang JiWon and Kim KiBum success launching Secret to fame, CCM also hire them. And now, as you know, Duble Sidekick continuously write hit songs for CCM.
Therefore, i dont think its a surprise when CCM hire Cho SooHyun for T-ara this time. I actually wish CCM hire the guy who did BAP's One Shot MV though. Nevertheless, Cho SooHyun is not a bad choice either.
    2. CCM want the song and the dance to become a national trend like Gangnam Style. But really, who doesn't?
Aside from that, nothing from T-ara is related to PSY. I dont think they are inspired by PSY style at all. Maybe hiphop but even 4min is going hiphop.

T-ARA really needs a vacation... Not to get manicures and pedicures and not to get free time from the idol world. They need to have a vacation so they are not overworked and get really exhausted. Anyways, Japanese fans are really lucky^^
    Dear Japanese fans,
    Take care of T-ARA =D

T-ara work to death... Though I'm really worried about your health but it's not time to rest, not at all!! When Korea and its general people have set bad image of you all in their minds, its better to establish yourself in japan... And later, they will come and claim" T-ara is our's. We love them and all" like they did to Kara!! So better to work hard for your bright future now even though it may be hard as hell... Looking forward to your fan meetings!! Love y'all

I personally believe that as long as the show and the parents of the children have consented to their performance, I don't think there should be much of a problem. M! Countdown most likely wouldn't have allowed the children to perform to the song if they felt that there would be a considerate amount of inappropriateness displayed that they could possibly receive backlash for. For the viewers who disagree about the inclusion of the children (whose point of view is understandable as well as far as the content of the song) the most effective way they can show their displeasure is by not watching the show.

But regardless of who went to the site, it still shows that there are people interested in them. Love and Hate is better than no attention because that's when we'll see less of them. Even when the haters come by, they are exposed to the song and it brings along this type of publicity. I think they are ridiculous but they are helping to create more exposure for T-ara. In America, there is a saying, "There is no such thing as bad publicity." ,and I am truly hoping that this whole incident will fade like all things as we focus more on the work the girls produce. Better yet, this has brought on more new fans to help them reach an even higher status in Korea and internationally. The number of haters will fade as it started from baseless rumors anyway, there will still always be haters but the numbers will dwindle and in turn, the exposure has created more awareness about them and their music.
