T-ara has confirmed their comeback to be for September 11th, but they are left in a urgent situation after they decided to reconsider which song to choose as their title track.
T-ara are moving forward with their comeback, but the title song is still not confirmed. They are in an emergency before their comeback schedules begin shortly.
They received two completely different styles of song as candidates for the title song - one with Brave Brothers and one with Shinsadong Tiger.
The Brave Brothers song is a unique dance track full of femininity. It has a fresh and exciting melody, but it comes with sad lyrics. The song could possibly be sexy and revealed exciting and emotional charms of T-ara. These types of songs have success in the long run on the chart.
On the other hand, the Shinsadong Tiger song is a little bit more risky. It has a heavy club-based sound followed by a powerful melody. T-ara's best-known song with Shinsadong Tiger is "Roly-Poly" which had a cute concept, but this song has a completely different color to it. Either way, T-ara wants to abandon their cute concept and show a more fierce side of them on stage.
Core Contents Media will gather opinions on the two songs before their full-fledged comeback begins in a few weeks. It'll be difficult to decide between either song because more and reportedly very good.
An official said, "It's a very unusual situation to be in. We will utilize the reaction to each concepts and carefully review which one will have a better outcome for T-ara."
Nonetheless, T-ara will still make their comeback on September 11th!

[14.08.19] T-ara to stay away from sexy concepts with an authentic EDM comeback song on September 11th!
T-ara has confirmed their comeback date and release of a new mini-album to be September 11th!
After announcing they were coming back in September, a comeback date of September 11th has been revealed today to OSEN. Up until that point, T-ara has been and will be preparing hard for this new release.
T-ara also unveiled through their agency Core Contents Media a new concept picture. The picture is a sporty and sexy chic look that is completely different from their last musical style concept with "Do You Know Me?".
But in actuality, T-ara will not comeback with a sexy concept, but rather a stylish and chic/cool concept.They will show a stylish color that is completely different from Hyomin and Jiyeon's solo ventures.
T-ara's title song will be a special genre of EDM (Electronic Dance Music) called Big room. Big room is an EDM genre that is centered around minimalist percussion, regular beats, simple melodies and synth-driven breakdowns. Core Contents Media revealed they will also be working with real and authentic EDM musicians.
An example of a "Big room" genre song would be Martin Garrix's Animals or Epic by Sandro Silvo & Quintino.
They will also showcase a catchy new dance as they have with their retro Roly-Poly dance, Lovey-Dovey shuffle dance, and robotic Sexy Love dance.

There's not much more to say about this: T-ara's "Number Nine" music video has somehow reached over one billion views on one of China's most popular video viewing website YinYueTai.
The music video, which was uploaded on October 10th last year, currently has 1,0113,067,000 views as of July 6th, 2014.Jiyeon revealed last month that T-ara is learning Chinese in their downtime to prepare for their Chinese promotions coming up soon.

Hyomin‘s first ever solo mini-album will be released TWO days early.. on June 30th!
On the 27th, Core Contents Media has announced to Newsen that the original release date of July 2nd has actually been changed to June 30th. At noon, the mini-album will be available on all online music sites.
One of the songs that will be featured in Hyomin’s mini-album is actually a song she self-composed with the help of the SPEED member Taewoon. Hyomin will be able to show off a more mature side of her through this song.
For the title song “Nice Body”, Hyomin participated in everything from the choreography, music video concept, and outfit designs, and the song is the work of the K-pop mastermind Brave Brothers. The up-and-coming rapper Loco will be featured on the song.

Core Contents Media has just revealed to Asiae that Jiyeon will continue appearing in the upcoming episodes of MBC drama “Triangle”!
Jiyeon first appeared this week on episodes 15 and 16 with a very minimal role where she played the fiancee of ZE:A’s Siwan‘s character and following her appearance, “Triangle” was able to achieve it’s highest ratings yet! Jiyeon had quite a scandalous role and garnered a lot of attention when she went in for a kiss on Siwan.

As you already know from a previous post about Jiyeon’s cameo in the MBC drama Triangle (트라이앵글), Jiyeon featured in two episodes (15 & 16).
Above is an excerpt from the most recent episode, episode 16. The video might break many Jiyeon stans’ hearts but I personally liked her acting in this particular scene.
In addition, according to TnMS, Jiyeon’s appearance in episode 15 and episode 16 increased the ratings and episode 16 saw the highest ratings yet for the series. On the 15th episode, the ratings increased from 7.7 to 8.0, and for episode 16, ratings reached 9.2 nationwide! Previously, the highest recorded rating was 9.0 on episode one.

This was kind of weak. Their lypsincing was a little off so even leaving out the heavily autotuned vocals from the recording it's clear they don't sing at all, for the most part anyway. I think there were a few parts where it seemed like they used their voices to go with the recording but I'm not sure.
Their dancing was a bit sluggish, especially the roly poly part, it might be because they're tired and/or out of practice, but not having heels probably would have helped.
Part of it could be also because the performance was at 2:30 AM!

Shin Dongyeob offered Eunjung a role as a full-time cast member on R-rated talk show “Witch Hunt”!
Eunjung, as well as F-ve Dolls Seunghee, recently participated as girl group member guests on the R-rated and 19+ jTBC talk show “Witch Hunt”.
As soon as the “Witch Hunt” recording began, Eunjung was responding positively and thoughtfully and was able to lead the conversations on the episode.

Ahead of her solo debut on July 2nd, Hyomin has unveiled some new pictures from her music video shoot!
According to Newsen, Hyomin spent more than 30 hours filming for her music video on June 16th and today she has released some more information about it as well as new concept pictures.
In the new pictures for “Nice Body”, Hyomin’s ant-waist and long, toned legs are showed off. In one image, there’s two different numbers written on her outfit which may or may not mean something. In another picture, Hyomin is wearing a bikini type of outfit and laying in the pool with sunglasses.
In addition to that, it was announced that Hyomin will have two different teasers, a 15+ version and 19+ version, for her music video. Hyomin has directly participated in the choreography, stage outfits, music video, and album concept.
It was previously announced that on July 2nd, “Nice Body” and Hyomin’s mini-album will be released to the public. The song is composed by Brave Brothers and will feature the rapper Loco.

Before her June 13th Music Bank performance, Jiyeon met with reporters at Edaily and discussed her solo and gave support to her unnie Hyomin who is also having a solo debut soon.
Jiyeon said, "I listened to Hyomin's song and watched her video choreography at the same time. As soon as I saw it, I realized it was the exact opposite style of mine. Ahead of her solo debut, Hyomin released a new jacket image that reveals she will collaborate with Loco.
Today (11th), Hyomin unveiled a new teaser image for her solo debut where she was posed alongside the rapper Loco. Hyomin wore a see-through yellow skirt with an otherwise sporty look, while Loco wore all black.

As the saying goes “to unite is to survive, to split is to die,” but the saying does not apply to T-ara. In fact, it should be the exact opposite: to unite is to die. After the July 2012 incident with Hwayoung, although two years have already passed, the public still view T-ara coldly and at a distance.
Have T-ara had their peak? They were the stars of the retro concept comebacks. Roly-Poly was the most popular song of 2011. However, after Hwayoung left the group, T-ara became a word synonymous with “anti.” T-ara’s retro style was no longer accepted by the public. Although they returned afterwards with Number Nine and Do You Know Me?, all they received was only the public ignoring them.
Will T-ara just fall like that? At this time, there is skepticism as their unexpected “counter-attack” begins. At the center of this is the group’s maknae, Jiyeon. I have no idea who would be complaining about Jiyeon’s wall dance! But I understand why it will be changed. I personally believe it was the plan all along to edit the choreography after debuting it. With Core Contents Media releasing this news to the public, it only creates more interest towards what the dance move actually was and only gets more people to check out Jiyeon’s “1MIN 1SEC” music video in the end.

T-ara’s agency Universal Music Records revealed today that T-ara will release a special DVD music video compilation containing 14 of their regular Japanese music videos and six special Japanese music videos. The DVD, titled T-ARA Single Complete BEST Music Clips「Queen of Pops」, will have two versions – normal and first press – of the DVD which will both have a Blu-ray option (so technically four versions). They will all be released on June 25th!'

I don't know their names but Eunjung's mom has been on WGM a lot (maybe like 6~7 episodes) which we have subbed completely.
Qri's mom was on an episode of Bouquet during Roly-Poly promos, but unfortunately I don't think we subbed that. But you could maybe find subs elsewhere.
Soyeon never talks about her dad and grew up with her mom and grandma and aunts. That's how she got the nickname of being born in the 1970s of whatever XD
There are some pics of Jiyeon with her parents and her dad showed up to a fan-meet once in summer of 2011. If you search her individual forum and pre-debut pics topic you can find some.
I don't know a lot about Hyomin's parents actually.. and Boram's as you know are famous. We have subbed two episodes of Wooram Family Camp show with her dad and sister Wooram. She's been in a CF with them as well and he was in their Roly-Poly MV. Boram has also done some interviews with her mom which we have translated I know (text interviews).

[14.05.20] Jiyeon, “I am not looking to compete with G.NA and Hyosung; I want to prove T-ara has not given up”
On the 19th, Jiyeon held a press conference in Gangnamgu at Core Contents Media ahead of the release of her first solo mini-album. At the conference, she revealed her feelings of satisfaction and burden of being the first T-ara member to promote as a solo artist.
“Because I’m the maknae, do I have to be the first [to have a solo debut]?” Jiyeon joked at the beginning of the press conference. Regarding her upcoming solo debut, Jiyeon said that, “The first time I was offered a solo debut I could was hesitant. I worried a lot about having to do everything by myself and it was a burden to me so much that I trembled and couldn’t sleep at night. ”
“I’ve practiced a lot and I’m getting a lot of support now from fans,” Jiyeon said. “I also received support from the T-ara unnies and Duble Sidekick sunbaes.” She continued with, “It wouldn’t be true to say I don’t still feel burdened, but I think it’s a good image for me to overcome the challenges I’m faced with.”
It’s also very troublesome for Jiyeon to have to stand alone when in the past, she was used to standing on stage along side five unnies. But Jiyeon won’t be staying true to T-ara’s colors. “I have a lot greed. We have prepared a different style of song and choreography. I want to show charms that are unique to me,” she said.
Jiyeon’s title song “1MIN1SEC” was composed by the team Duble Sidekick and shows off a unique charm of poetic lyrics and melody in a mid-tempo beat. The lyrics are in the view of an honest woman who cannot ever give up on the man she loves.
The concept of “1MIN1SEC” is sexy. Jiyeon said that, “It was not my idea to have a sexy concept. I wanted to have an androygnous concept, with some feminine and masculine aspects.” But when she was asked what sexy meant to her, Jiyeon replied, “I never thought of myself as sexy, but now when I go up on stage, I feel like my gaze is slowly changing. I am becoming more confident.”
At the same time as Jiyeon, G.NA and Jeon Hyosung have came back as solo artists. Inevitably, they all have been compared because of their songs all being composed by Duble Sidekick but because they also all have sexy concepts.
Jiyeon said, “I worried in the beginning about this, but after watching their songs and music videos, I realized we all have different concepts. So I think that we can all have a win-win situation.”
She continued, “In reality, I’m not close with many celebrities, but I hope I can use this opportunity to be closer with them. I am competitive, but not right now.”
When she was asked how she would stand out, she said, “I actually don’t have any weapon. I would only say I’m trying to do my best.” She also stated, “Honestly, I just want to show that T-ara has not given up.”
In conclusion, Jiyeon revealed her future expectations: “This is not the last time I will make a solo album,” she said, “I hope to take on the challenge again.”

On the 26th, T-ara's agency Core Contents Media has revealed brand new photos from the shooting scene of T-ara's jacket image photo shoot.
T-ara will appear with a new chic and trendy image by introducing the specific EDM genre of Big room to their listeners with a Shinsadong Tiger-produced song. In addition, T-ara will once again come out with an exciting dance choreography that is easy to follow along with.
In the past, T-ara has received a lot of love with their dance trends of cat dance, retro dance, shuffle dance, and robot dance. This time they plan to have a new fun and exciting dance.
T-ara is still preparing for their September 11th comeback which is about two weeks away.
