Jiyeon and Girl’s Day’s Hyeri become the new MCs for MTV’s The Show!
Jiyeon, along with Girl’s Day member Hyeri, will become the new hosts of the music show MTV The Show beginning NEXT WEEK!
T-ara’s Facebook page revealed today that beginning on the June 3rd episode, Jiyeon and Hyeri will take over the MC roles from KARA’s Gyuri and Seungyeon for the future episodes. Jiyeon and Hyeri will film every week for the Tuesday broadcast of the music program.
Luckily, Jiyeon is already a pro at MCing! She was the MC for MBC’s Music Core from October 2011 to October 2012 with Miss A’s Suzy. Just recently, Jiyeon even talked about how close the show brought the two together in an interview.
It’s so exciting that we will be able to Jiyeon continuing with solo activities after her solo promotions are finished! Let’s hope that Jiyeon and Hyeri will perform a special performance to commemorate their start as MCs on the show!

Not really into Hyeri or Girl’s Day but the T-ara Effect Theory stipulates that I must love anything & everything that connects to T-ara which is why I’m a fan of SPEED, Seeya, Davichi, F-vedolls, IU, SNSD’s Sunny, Son Ho-jun, etc.
