Under Diadem’s Spotlight this time round is yet another T-ara fan artist, @Enjelicious! She was quick to rise to popularity for her T-ara fan art but she also does other types of anime-style drawings. You can check out more of her work on her Facebook page.

Enjelicious or better know as just ENJ, is from Manila, Philippines and is very friendly, so if you really like and adore her fanart, don’t hesitate to mention her on Twitter! Let’s jump right into the interview questions, shall we?

Q: How are you feeling today? Which T-ARA song best describes your mood right now?

Hello. Just like the usual, I’m feeling happy right now~ If I were to describe my usual mood in T-ARA’s song it would be “YAYAYA”. The feeling of excitement as a new day comes by yayayaya~~~ Kk.

Q: How did you become a T-ARA fan?

It would be after watching the original Dream High drama. I really liked Eunjung unnie there then as I look the series up on the internet, I found out that she is a member of a girl group called T-ARA.

Q: Why do you like T-ARA so much?

There’s something in the group that makes them fun. Usually, other girl groups would try to be sexy or cool or mysterious or cute but T-ARA is different. It’s like they have all of those … I can’t really describe it well. Kk.

Q: Does T-ARA play a huge part in your life? Why?

Yes, because I know other K-POP groups but T-ARA is the only group that I actually like so when a member mention “this artist that they watched to or listened to” I will also kind of watch/listen to it… I guess that’s how T-ARA play this huge part in my K-POP life.

Q: What kind of concept would you like T-ARA to adopt for their next comeback?

I would like them to do another fun 80s or 70s concept or any fun concept.

Q: Can you share your favorite and most prized fan art yet? (One piece that you’re really proud of.)

Actually there is three that I consider my most prized fan art(s) but if I were to choose the #1 in my list it would be:

1.) During Little Apple promotions because MBK used it in their official sites…

2) Thanks to Jingdot T_T (Jingdot used ENJ’s fanart on the paper cup Jiyeon was holding)

Q: Have you ever tried drawing fan art that is specific to a certain album/song/concept? (If yes, please share! If no, how would be your first project be like if you were to embark on it?)

Little Apple.

I miss them doing fun concepts, I hope next time all members are included.

Q: Can you explain how and where you got your inspiration from?

All I know is that I’ve been drawing since I was a kid. Haha.

Q: How do you feel after spending so much time and effort into drawing fan art for T-ARA and the community? Do you think you’re getting the recognition you deserve?

I always draw a lot of scenarios involving Park Jiyeon as a form of “update” to my fellow Jingchins because she’s the only member who currently don’t have her own SNS and also because she’s my favorite member. ^^ It feels great that other people who like the group, and JY as well, appreciate my works.

Q: Name some of your favorite fan artists that you look up to/are impressed with. (Doesn’t have to be fan artists within the fandom, it would great though!)

Nanoon, PJY_9367, YuYinnn, Memae, burgergao, k91201

They are T-ARA fan artists as well all of them are hard working and nice too (  ^_^)/

Q: Do you have any motivating words for budding fan artists or beginners that look up to your style of drawing?

Thank you for appreciating my art style and just keep on practicing. I know it is a very old saying but it is really effective.

Q: Tell us more about your personal life outside of all the fan art and T-ARA, something that interests you a lot other than T-ARA!

I like Japanese anime and games a lot. I currently work as an illustrator/manga artist for books (from Wattpad) here in my country while studying so I am sorry if sometimes I can’t update my T-ARA fan arts sometimes ( T o T)…
