  1. She looks cute! In a non-sexual please don't put me in pedo jail kind of way, lol. =__="

I hope she'll cherish her innocence and smiles because it will get physically tough for her in December. Man, I feel bad for these child idols, especially this one joining at such a critical time. I hope antis don't tear her apart.

Btw, what flavour ice cream? I judge you by yo' flava . . . lol.

  2. Honestly, I should watch the entire thing through instead of skipping to the good parts. I thought some man walked up and grabbed Jiyeon almost causing a re-enactment of SNSD Taeyeon's foiled kidnapping on stage.

Seriously . . . note to self: stop that.

So sweet. I'm assuming the event planners planned that without Jiyeon knowing. Good for them! Let's get more parent-children interaction.

  3. T-ara's new members will be revealed on May 31st and June 7th.

The new member who will join in July is a 3rd year high school student with both beauty and musical talent. It's also known that the other member is a 3rd year junior high school student.

They are gonna be revealed on those dates, but won't be joining T-ARA til july

Oh, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I guess I must've read that too quickly and missed out on important points.

-_- Ugh, the anticipation for new members is killing me . . .

  4. Ok you see, the problem is that Gangkiz already had a rough start all the way back when they were first introduced and showed on the europe day trip videos on youtube. I can just bluntly say almost 90% of viewers just, didn't accept them at that time because of reasons such as "oh they think of replacing t-ara?" or "they are just riding on t-ara's success". I'm sick of all those comments at that time and i'm sure there are others like me whom have just accept Gangkiz as just another k-pop girl group that just happens to work under the same company as T-ara. I'm sure many saw the comments that are downright mean and fans which i assume are T-ara 'fans' are boycotting the videos because simply T-ara ain't in it, although i can understand their feelings of being 'scammed'.

I'm happy for them actually, having T-ara really does help promoted themselves even further although i would say negatively. True that, i won't dismiss the fact that T-ara might NOT throughout enjoyed helping out gankiz because we aren't T-ara, we won't know what goes on behind all the smiling interviews or on tape. But i believe T-ara did this out of goodwill, seeing that Qri and Haein are good friends and all, and its just natural for friends to just help each other.

Now about what they said about surpassing T-ara might actually get into the fans in the wrong way, maybe they shouldn't have used the words so netizens which i'm pretty sure are T-ara fans, wouldn't just jump on conclusions that these girls are overconfident that they would surpass their seniors. No, they are just merely setting their expectation to be the best, in this case T-ara is one of them best girl groups currently, and who wouldn't wanna be the best they could be. Now about 'Honey Honey'..yea its not say the most orignal song, it has the usual T-ara vibe to it, but not everyone started out perfect and finding their own style, along the way i'm sure Gangkiz would slowly seperate themselves from just "T-ara wannabes". Point taken yes, i AM a GangKiz fan from the start so yes, i am defending them. But i won't deny that name is still pretty stupid lol.

    I agree.

I don't hate or dislike them either musically or personally. I think they're nice young girls looking to debut, but their management is just going about it at the worst way and at the worst time.

With the earlier news floating around of T-ara member change and additions, it was just a sensitive time to have same-company girls come out at say "We're going to try to be better than T-ara". I think people really took that the wrong way. To add oil to the fire, the management keeps dragging T-ara's name throughout GK's activities. Again, not helping at all.

I just hope that CCM or GM or whoever is overseeing them would realize that this is really not helping their fanbase and try to think of something more creative and independent for GK.

  5. Name/Age/Location:

    CL, 23, Toronto, Canada

    1. How did you discover/learn about T-ara?

A: I was first interested when their first album was released. I think it was one of the few k-pop albums where I actually enjoyed listening to each and every single song listed.

    2. Why do you like T-ara?

A: I think they are a very interesting group with a lot of diverse styles. Many current girl groups do not or are not allowed to pursue different styles and concepts, but T-ara is different. They are very versatile with their music and image which makes them appeal to different people. I think they are a very sensible group, but the girls individually haven't seem to lost their edge or become complacent to the music industry.

T-ara still has a lot of potential to develop into a top-tier girl group. I hope that they continue to be as they are and show us different styles in their future works.

    T-ara hwaiting!

    Optional

    3. What is your favorite thing to do/feature on Diadem?

A: Interact with the different members and share the joy of being a T-ara fan. The fanbase might not be as big as other idol groups, but it is a close knit community. I also love the dedication of the staff and members who continually return every day to check or get updated on T-ara news and photos.

  6. Yayaya's visual concept was just poorly thought. Not to blame our girls though.

Whoever is part of their PR team and management obviously did not do enough research about the First Nations people. The visual impact wasn't explosive as when there was a recent incident of a skit on "blackface", but still, the magnitude of this ignorance pretty much parallels that skit.

  7. i read from some comments about why it was queen'S becauseT-ARA are the queens and we are theirs... :) cool right!

That sounds plausible, but if that is true that means T-ara is/ are the Queen(s), meaning they are unequalled and are at the top. I have a feeling there might be some backlash by trolls and troublemakers trying to claim that T-ara and CCM might be snobbish of trying to hold a name like that, even though it's only a name.

Well, that's my opinion, and I certainly hope that doesn't come true. "Queen's" is nice, but like some comments above, I'd try to aim more unisex.

  8. No offence to Italy and Europe, but mugging tourists is very common. My friend's girlfriend went to Italy and she said her bag was sliced open while she was carrying it on her back. Someone took most of her valuables.

Who's smart idea was it to make a 23 year old girl responsible for ALL of the money?

Not discrediting Eunjung's maturity, but seriously, who puts all their eggs in one basket?
