sometimes life's like that.. it's difficult to walk away from all the potential fame and fortune as an idol group member, particularly when her decision could be seen as coming back to haunt her at the present. yet sometimes it was a blessing in disguise to think it through (life, priorities,...) away from the harsh spotlight on a trainee (especially if they are on the big companies like SM, JYP, DSP,... it is easy to either be numbed by fame, or allow pent-up anger to rise up in the end and causing rifts amongst members)

Eunjeong looks unrecognizable at first glance. needed to look at the face (the image of a short haired Eunjeong looking snappy and modern is stuck in my head). Qri looks more plain and it helped that a few episodes on Queen Seonduk was a good intro to T-ara's sageuk appearances

referring to recent furores like KARA and TVXQ, lots of speculation regarding contracts (like salaries, payouts and bonuses) drove wedges between members of these two groups and fans of different factions for the same idol group. if Eunjeong did indeed have the blessings of her big boss to reveal an outline of T-ara's income distribution (assuming special clauses and exact figures are understandably kept confidential) then I think Core Contents have made a good move in the right direction to address some issues regarding idol finances, particularly when finances are a sensitive issue that if mishandled and/or leaked to fans/netizens will cause a lot of damage to CCM and T-ara's reputations. Better put some facts right rather than have a few disgruntled netizen fans scour their way through confidential data to play whistleblower

haha Jiyeon was right. time for a "Smile, Eunjeong" show alr and they should look smouldering hot

with so many songs in her ipod and showing knowledge off, Soyeon can one day come out with a trot album like Daesung (Big Bang). would be even better if she gets the real oldest members of the group (obviously Boram and Qri aren't born in 1978) to form T-ara T-rot (like Super Junior Trot)

Eunjeong looks like she got the gold hair of sunny (SNSD) or gyuri (KARA) (both dyed, btw) combined with the inner spunk of G.NA. win win situation...

after watching enough World Cup over the past month to take my eyes of T-ara for a short while, here's my take on the leadership change. 1) Previously, the captain/leader is also the star player. In T-ara context it means Eunjeong leading by example. So far she has done a good job as the leader 2) Now leader is the most senior member on the team. Boram, while being the folding screen to the younger trio on stage (Eunjeong, Hyomin and Jiyeon who have been having a lot of solo activities lined up), and would be more than willing to let them shine brighter, is more like the welfare/admin head and dealing with T-ara's off-stage issues. Being the big sister is not just being prominent on stage (and granted, she's the shy type) but also taking care of the others off the stage.

Giant is a new drama in the pipeline on SBS (2155h in Seoul, after showing our dear Eunjeong's Coffee House which starts at 2045h). started showing in Korea alr from May 10, and will be in for the long haul since it's a 50 episode epic. dramas on that 2155h time slot include Secret Agent (KBS coming up with a romantic comedy version of IRIS) and Dong Yi (MBC knack for epic historical drama again, follow up to Seonduk) It's about the trials and tribulations of a few youngsters during the 70s and the 80s while Korea is experiencing rapid economic growth yet was still under an authoritarian government (before the Gwangju incident that opened up democracy during the later 80s).. Hwang Jang Eum is starring in it [since it's an SBS show, viewers outside Korea will have to find another way to watch the show alr] It'd be good...would like Soyeon and Qri to remix/remaster/reprise the Bunny Girls songs in full and then introduce trot (or retro pop) to a younger generation. After wowing us with all the dance-pop of IGCBOY, I'm Really Hurt etc it'd be interesting to see how they go retro

finally they've defined a role for Qri already: clothes hanger. looks good in whatever outfit she's in

is there a sustained netizen attack on T-ara? first the 'results swap' controversy with KARA on MuBank, then Qri's old work history got dug out for criticism and now this? at least they have denied this one. there's conclusive proof that she wasn't swearing, although it helps that Eunjeong left it to the staff to reply to the press, or there might be more misquotes

is YoonA HyoMin and SoHee part of JoKwon's G7? (the others being GaIn and 3 more, one each from KARA, SeCrEt and AfterSchool)... perhaps a parody version of Invincible Youth is on the cards, just like what he did to GaIn's (Dirty) Brown Eyed Girls...so here it goes SNSD: YoonA replacing Sunny+YuRi T-ARA: Hyomin still the same WG: SoHee (new addition) BEG: GaIn (his WGM 'wife') replacing Narsha KARA: Seungyeon or Gyuri to replace Hara SeCrEt: Blank SunHwa (although a member from F(X) might make a better replacement) AfterSchool: new addition (the rest of 4Minute are considerably lower profile than HyunA)

haha naughty naughty Jiyeon! Looks like 'borrowing' clothes from Soyeon and Hyomin is just the tip of the iceberg...she prolly can have a new title 'shikshin' if she eats some (extra) food off the plates of Eunjeong, Qri and Boram

haha what a 'birthday present' from T-ara...would be doubly looking forward to this day as I like soccer related tie-ups and it's my bday on the day it's released...all hail 6 red devils called T-ara!

I'll quote from a line by Pulip on Episode 10 of Master of Study (the episode where Hyeonjeong went pole dancing): "You'll always be my friend...always" [even after she 'betrayed' Jiyeon] It's good that they are still keeping in touch despite their busy schedules shows that they're in it together.. rock on girls btw...I nearly thought the one in a hoodie at the back was the teacher (Ms Han) at Master of Study until I saw the captions...lol

she has thrown down the gauntlet to the paparazzi. wonder whether she will turn into the 'official photographer' of T-ara

the endorsement by SNSD will be a great boost for T-ara for many more seasons to come...meanwhile here are 2 possibilities after this revelation 1) T-ara and SNSD (with Soyeon+Hyoyeon, Hyomin+Sunny_Yuri as a main connection) can have a mega collaboration for a new single 2) T-ara states their favourite SNSD song, then they will re-interpret part of the song (perhaps Genie) for 6 ppl on a reality show, and conversely, SNSD can try out their style of Bo Peep Bo Peep with their 9 ppl (and to sweeten the deal, they can exchange parodies, like T-ara doing Run Devil Run with 6 and SNSD doing Crazy Because of You with 9 people)

there's overt sexuality and there's the subtle sensuality that can also be construed as sexual if you look at it from a conservative view. Horror movies aren't just freakfests anymore. Nowadays such movies include quite a bit of plot NOT related to horror, and probably some forbidden love inside as well. we'll see how Eunjeong can transmit her dominatrix self that she portrays so effortlessly in IGC_BOY into this movie looking forward to that, though I'm no horror fan

my faves this time will be Soyeon and Qri's photo...Soyeon looks like she came straight out of a fairy tale (complete with bow, arrow and that Peter Pan look) while Qri's folksy garb (pardon the plush toy) is really stylo. Jiyeon's Quiz Queen is a little more like a aegyo princess while Hyomin's farmer blurs the line between fairytale and reality (both outfits pale slightly in comparison). Eunjeong looks rather like a real-life miner (complete with a large pick-axe and tank top as a concession to the sexy cos-play theme) and Boram seems more like a 1800s woodcutter with an updated look

that probably explains the following: Jiyeon can learn the nice side from Boram as well, but then, with 4 others going sexy, it's only a matter of time before they happily coaxes Jiyeon to grow up...and smartly sex her up. Of course, Hyomin is the main mastermind here, because she looks like Aphrodite in IGC_BOY, so it's up to Soyeon to perfect Jiyeon's piercing glare that marks IGC_BOY

actually, it's more of gaining a 3rd dimension. She looks all that innocent in the water ad...but all sizzling as the years go by...haha rox

@mlkw I agree with your observation. the pixie like hunter look is jjang! (like Peter Pan)...Qri is close behind in her mountaineer look *the picture of Qri posing with a plush toy is a particular favourite*.. Hyomin's farmer and Jiyeon's quiz queen are more like cartoon characters while Eunjeong's miner and Boram's woodcutter glamourizes their real life counterparts rather than looking like cartoon characters

it's a new concept, but a very good one, so they have it tested out in Korea first before they send it over to selected markets, or even better, some major/reputable company getting distribution rights for these must-have accessories for any K-pop fan (and of course T-ara fan).. it'd be great if at least the whole world can see the T-ara Six strut their debut collection on the catwalk and then they post the video on T-ara dotcom

looking forward to the video, but as an international fan, it is tough coping with reading through all the Korean on their CDs (let alone this game), longing for stuff which I can't buy yet (T-aradotcom products only deliver within Korea at present) and thinking of playing a game which I don't even understand...hope the video looks as good as it promises
