XiaN Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 this may be good news see-ing that t-ara is even famous in Taiwan . recently other countries have been using korean songs for their own songs like the latest one where they used Shock from beast
hyojiyeon Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 the original version is always the best plaguerising is wrong seriously no matter how good the song is the original is always the best no matter how many pirated versions there are
anneybabyboo Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 I've watched the cover...and I know I'm pretty biased when I say this, but I do enjoy T-ara's version much better. (Maybe it has something to do with the fact that there are 7 lovely T-ara girls versus one woman who - no offense to her - looks kind of middle age. Plus, T-ara's vocals are so much better. Still, on the bright side, at least she had permission to do this song. It sucks that T-ara wasn't credited, but lets just think of the many groups going under plagiarism controversies right now *sigh*
ijatlovejiyeon Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 what's wrong with them? this song is only for t-ara.. did they got the permission.. korean version still the best// daebak!
CASPER.JiYEON Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 I CANNOT STOP ROFLING-----<div><br></div><div><br></div><div>WTH LOLOLOLOLOL.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>
alvintiandi Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 If our T-ara didn't sing this song, how will it be popular? Shouldn't they give credit to the original singer? Re-make doesn't mean you can forget about the original contributior!
Icoris Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 Not gonna hate on that artist, but I'm not a very big fan of remakes, although it does sound okay!
aleya Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 the origional song is better to hear actually ...........the remake one seem like weird to me....i don't know other people would say about the remake one....... how can they don't mention t-ara name.........they should give credit to t-ara........... t-ara deserve more............t-ara hwaiting
nurliyana lee Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 i saw the video while shopping the other day. my friend said the singer was quite old. i find the taiwan version funny.
hongrui Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 hate this version of bo peep bo peep. it totally spoil this song. dunno wad those taiwanes is thinking.
addy_ami Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 lol seriously this making me lol-ing so much 'They also gave her high praises, comparing her to Beyonce.' wth!! Beyonce?? Beyonce in your dreams.. when i watched this a few months ago i was like wth this is so sick it looks like a parody to me coz it looks so cheap and wth about not mentioning T-ara's name even if she has permission of remaking this song at least credited the real singer and rightful owner of the song tbh they should really do more homework on this issue.. dont simply posted something sounded so weird and wrong like this.. SMH
pongyful Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 It sucks that this version is getting praised while T-ara's original version doesn't get a mention. Wish that the people handling the news would have been more thorough.
faithboy24 Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 Typical example of poor press research before creating their headlines. Weird to see such mistakes from an international press. They should have at least meantioned that the song was a remake of T-ara's Bo Peep Bo Peep, which is a much better song then the taiwanese version.
PakYa Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 lol, that group look bunch of ahjumma..haha everyone knows t-ara is the origin of bo peep bo peep
yichung Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Well, if there was a legal copyright issue, then the lawyers will take care of it. I guess the main thing was that fans want t-ara to get world famous as well. I'm not sure why they aren't yet. We need korea to start filming english dramas intermix with korean, kind of like daniel henney movies. then we can have the idols move into the north american market.
yichung Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 btw, that group is a taiwanese commedian with some backup dancers, so that you aren't confused. shes not a singer really.
vilaceba Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Everyone's always copying kpop music as of late. It's a bit surprising that CNN would spend the air time covering something as trivial as this though. At least T-ara is getting some publicity out of this though!
mgyfan Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 the original version is always the best plaguerising is wrong seriously no matter how good the song is the original is always the best no matter how many pirated versions there are It's not plagiarism when the person gets the proper permission/rights to do the song.
Brunide Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 T-ara isn't even mentionned :/ T-ara version is so much better, unfair
dramakawai Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 argh I really don't like that! T-ara version of bo peep bo peep Is better she doesn't even have the rights of this song!
Xenorex Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 i believe there are inside stories which netizens do not know... like they said this song was handled legally so i believe they were already paid.... that just wat i think thou... But we shld be proud that T-ara was the originator of this song!
UrinatorZzZ Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 It'll be so cool if they mentioned T-ara on CNN. Bo Peep Bo Peep was waaaay better than the odd Taiwan version.
JiYeonSaranghe Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 what the hell is happening??? why don't they mention T-ara....T-ara's Bo peep bo peep is original CNN what are you doing??? I think you should foud out imformation carefully
freeze_frenzy Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Even this is just a remake, but they should have mentioned T-ara in the first place.. but after watching the video, i think its better not to mention T-ara name coz surely it will bring shame coz from a nice and cute Bo Peep song, suddenly become an auntie version of sexy Bo Peep.. haha.. ^^
woot24 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 omg the taiwanese version of bo peep ...... not so great.. lol it didnt sound quite right. maybe cause im used to t aras version better but still ehhhh
