i don't see this as a big deal. you can't expect the CNN people to be experts on the Asian music industry. the taiwanese version got permission from the T-ara so it's completely legal.

This isn't the first time that something like this has happened.

I think that a lot of American reporters etc don't take enough effort to thoroughly research what they're reporting.

And to not mention T-ara at all, the ones who made the dance so popular is just >:|

But I think CNN just wanted to report on something and didnt really bother doing further research on the matter...

Maybe its because they think that not many would be interested on the matter to begin with?

just watched the taiwan version MV and quite frankly, it sounds and looks like xxxx. t-ara should have gotten at least some credit.

I am sure they did not have permission from T-ara. How could CNN not mention the original source? T-ara is way better.

i have always hated this taiwanese singer. after this remake, she seriously annoys me. if she has the capability to write a hit song, write it. instead of using other's especially t-ara's and make it into a parody, and still never mention about t-ara at all. it seriously is irritating.

Remake's are not fair for americans to prace remake is because they only know the remaked first usually it''s first come first serve but i like the original better go T-ARA

the key to the taiwanese remake version lies on its lyrics itself.

its kind of like a message they trying to send out through the lyrics

however i still prefer the originals of course
