deeje
i know that.. but she is more suitable in T-ara ...
daun_83
No wonder... SoYeon has amazing sing skills, like her voice. A leader of snsd? i never had imaginated it before. It's nice to know that she went to core contents.
iceydestinyz
Wow she was almost a leader for SNSD. Well since she can sing well. Thx for sharing this info
UKMERC
I think that it was probably right for SoYeon once being cut from the running to go look at other avenues and im glad she did as T-ARA wouldnt be the same.
iheart-ara
keke~ she's supposed to be the leader back then because she's the oldest out of the group members but when she had left the company taeyeon who is the second oldest member become the leader =)
Jentitalia
Wahh! I don't think Soyeon would have done better in SNSD She fits in perfectly in T-ara (:
Chansey
I like both groups like some of the other posters in this thread =). Am glad that each of the groups have their own signature vocal powerhouses. makes both groups alot more interesting.
Stina
wow I heard about her possibly being a SNSD member but I didn't know it was that long of a process. She was in the vocal line through almost the whole process. Shows how good of a singer she is. Weird to think of her in any group but T-ara now though. hae_maruko
wow! she nearly made the cut.and i agree soyeon can fit in any group.. but, as many have said, it's good that she's in t-ara now.. thanx for sharing!
CEOHyominFan
I have to say that is a very interesting article. And I have to agree Soyeon has some awesome vocals. I love hearing her voice. It makes me happy. ^^ She has that little *extra* whenever I hear her sing.
Tetsuya
If she had stayed on with SNSD,she'd have to slug it out with Taeyeon and Jessica for the lead vocal role, something that she doesn't really have to do now in T-ara,where she's the main vocal isn't it? There's a possibility of her being squeezed out of the competition anyway,so all is not lost, even when she got axed. At least she's shining now, though i'd say it's SM's loss to have dropped such a talented singer like Soyeon.
crewz
I think soyeon mke a good choice..if she still in snsd, she will never participate in t-ara dot com and t-ara dreamgirls. Now,she become the leader both of this programme..isnt that great?? tGo
wow imagine if she was in snsd, lead vocals in that group would be sick with her, taeyeon, and jessica. That's a sick threesome of vocals.
Guest IDUNLAIKSPAMMERS
Well everyone knows she was supposed to be in SNSD. But then like.. for me, I'm a big big SONE so seeing her in SNSD would've been so weird. Like.. do you have any idea how she would've affected concepts, songs, etc.? Because of her voice, I swear she would get more lines than Tae Yeon. Tae Yeon is a jjang singer, but Soyeon has such a tone and power that even she couldn't match. But even still, Soyeon's voice is just.. not SNSD material. Not because it's bad, but I know the concepts SNSD has. They're very cutesy and girly, and Soyeon's voice would've honestly just been wasted on their concepts. There's a reason why they're all so high pitched and pretty. I totes respect the reason that Soyeon left SNSD. If it was too hard (which it is, SM literally demands brutal training), then it was too hard. I also respect SNSD for sticking with it too. She's the kind of girl that has no regrets. Plus we now have a beautiful, dorky muse in T-ara so it's win win
bcadillac
She quit from SME because she can't stad like the harsh training from SME, and I'm really happy she's with T-ara now she deserved it Soyeon
sycnes
i think she's fit with t-ara more than soshie,, i can't imagine if she with sosie,,
_fadedfootprints
I think Soyeon fits better with T-ara though. Her voice will be kinda wasted in SNSD espcially with so many main vocals like Taeyeon, Jessica and Seohyun. Too much, and I think it'll reduce how much she can actually shine, especially if her strong vocals are wasted singing really cute songs like Oh and Gee that can't really showcase what her voice can do. so I think she's better in T-ara. tGo
Soyeon was labeled as the leader for the projects, iono how she got cut at the end, she also has very very strong vocals. man if snsd stuck with soyeon, the lead vocals in that group would be sick with her, taeyeon and jessica. jelmushroom
it's no doubt cos Soyeon has a professional style on stage... so independent and calm whatever happens...
The Real CZ
After Yayaya, I'm glad Soyeon didn't join SNSD. One song like that is bad enough, almost all of your singles like that would be overkill. Taeyeon and Soyeon would have been a great 1-2 combo, but I really like the 1-2-3 combo in T-ara with Soyeon, Eunjung, and Hyomin.
eunjungjiang
i'm glad soyeon didnt join snsd. Taeyeon and soyeon will definitely be fighting with each other to get the lead vocalist role if soyeon was in snsd.
cheiri
So glad Soyeon didn't join SNSD, coz she's better off in T-ara's Big 3 Vocals, along with Hyomin and Eunjung. She could've fit in well in SNSD or in any other group because her voice is what i call THE VOICE in the current idol world. For those who say that you can't imagine her singing Gee, she just did twice (t-ara radio debut and not sure if it's 1000 songs challenge but it's with kang minyoung) and man, she nailed and leveled it up! She really does sound good in any type of song.
namirobin
i'm glad that she left SNSD coz i think she is more fit with T-ARA rather than SNSD
markiey
It was pretty close.. she got cut at the very last part I'm already know it, since I'm the fans of soshi too.
