I watch the video yesterday and found hints to show that it isnt the same room. THe hinge of the door is on the right in the webcam video and on the left in the CF. I agree both the room layout and that girl look similar but its definitely not her. I believe Jiyeon would tell the truth and have faith in her.

My thoughts:

1) Jiyeon or not, the person/people who retained/proliferated this video should be punished. Who knows, it may have been a young boy on the other side of the chat, which would be less creepy, but it also could have been some sick older dude manipulating a minor, and the video is contraband in any case.

2) I'm mad at whoever is spreading it around, especially with attachments trying to prove it is Jiyeon. If it is her, it is her past, why crush her life now? Moreover, if Jiyeon is hurt then T-ara as a whole is hurt, and the other girls have absolutely nothing to do with it. What is with these people and destroying the lives of others?

3) I'm not 100% convinced to either side. Initially it seems quite convincing, but then people have pointed out the different handedness, door direction, phone, piano, wall trim, lighting, extrapolated room size, etc. It is enough for me to swing back and strongly doubt. However, if it is not her then it is the most elaborate and vicious hoax I have ever seen. I would be interested in an analysis of the video encoding and file dates of the different videos, which are embedded in them.

4) I hope the other girls believe and trust her, or if there is anything to come clean about, that it happens at least between them if not with the public at large, so they can be united. It would be terrible for something like this to cause a lack of trust between them. Fact of the matter is that everyone is curious and experiments in order to learn these parts of life at some time. If they are on the internet, it is likely to happen sooner. I wouldn't bat an eye at nearly anything confessed, even from my beloved Hyomin, who is actually pretty open about her interest in sexual things. So I hope they can support her fully.

5) Lies told enough times start to stick. The rate of people who think Obama is a Muslim continues to rise because of on stupid rumor that has been thoroughly debunked time and again. So please, let's forget this and move on and hopefully let T-ara have smooth promotions as soon as possible.

jt-, initially I believed that article earlier too. However! I clicked that same link an hour ago, from akp and found that people are replying with posted images that tune off the light to see the same mole on fake JiYeon's left arm. I fervently hope that is photoshopped, because it is the only negative reply going out to that article that is trying to protect JiYeon. Plus for the picture where she is in yellow swimsuit in deathbell2, her arm was raised slightly up as well so the mole positioning is somewhat higher. This argument has been done on akp forums and I was slightly taken aback as well. I was about to be 100% sure thats not JiYeon until people came out with counterargument. Regardless, I still believe in her even if both sides have solid evidence(provided if they are'nt photoshopped)

Fame is awesome for those who are in the entertainment industry because the attention celebrities get says a lot about their popularity and how there are more supporters than haters out there. However, it is because of fame that makes them the easiest people to target since words will spread out faster and further.

I doubt that it is her in the video because she does not seem like the type of person who will go that far for attention. One can say that everyone has hidden sides to them, which is true, but if she was planning to go into the entertainment industry, I doubt that she will do that. There are so many of these video controversies floating around, and most of them turn out to false. For all we know, the video is not even old. An anti-fan could have done it to ruin her reputation.

Either way, I still support Jiyeon. I will be disappointed if it is true though.

Yes, she might be famous now, however, the poster of the video and article stated this was her pre-debut days, some speculate its in 2005, 5 years ago when JiYeon was only 12. This meant that she might be in that rebellious stage and might have done this, and it was back when she wasn't going into the entertainment industry, except for a few CFs(?). Its the past, like some have said, its the past for a reason and it will always remain to be the past. I personally won't judge her until an official statement comes out, but as of right now, as much as I hate to say it, things are not looking so good. It doesn't really matter what people believe, it all comes down to hard-evidence because that is all that really matters to prove if something is real or not, no matter how hard it may be to take in. This should have never gone public but there's nothing that can be done about that now.

I don't know why many people are saying that "the past is the past" or "leave the past behind." IF she did do it, there is no way she, or anyone who truly supports her, can "leave it behind."

Do we forget about our past accomplishments, do we forget about MAJOR things that happened to us in the past (whether it be good or bad); do we really just leave those behind and not ever bring it back up again? Is it not true that the past is what made you who you are today? Yes, we all made mistakes in the past, some more severe than others, but we don't just "leave it behind" and forget about it, we take it with us, everyday, and we learn from it (so it doesn't happen again). All I'm saying is that it's not something we can just say "who cares" to. IF it is true and if you care about her, you should acknowledge the fact that she did it, and like what the OP said, forgive her.

Things are going to be hard on her either way this issue goes and it'd be the best if this whole thing just faded away quickly afterwards, but we all know it won't.
