YES.Something is fishy though.Lovey Dovey was undeniably Song of the Year for the first 6 months of 2012 (until the recent scandal struck them so bad and the fact that Day by Day didn't really do really well certainly did not help either) and I was extremely taken aback when I noticed that LD wasn't nominated for that category.Their Black Eyes and Funky Town albums sold more than 120,000 thanks to the epic flawless Cry Cry,We Were In Love and Lovey Dovey.They have won 12 number one awards on various music shows but.........
Whoever did this was so bias.
And yes,once again I agree with both of you.We're really sorry to any 4 Minute's fans,but Ice Cream was only recently released not even more than 1 week and suddenly POFF! it was nominated in one of the most important category in MAMA Award.Regarding f(x) and T-ara's popularity,I guess T-ara isn't popular enough globally and f(x) being in one of South Korea Biggest Entertainment Company,more or less help f(x) to boost their popularity.But to be honest,T-ara is way more popular in my country.Oh well,I guess,it's just in my country. *shrugged*
But of course,all these happen probably due to their scandal that shocked the whole KPOP fans especially in SK so maybe the authorities don't want citizens to complaint about how they are been nominated in too much categories.I guess they gonna take a lot of time for the Roly Poly era to return.
EDIT:People say it didn't only happen to T-ara but a few huge names in Korea also weren't nominated in Song of the Year while songs that didn't even manage to get to TOP 100 are there.

Agree with xbot. Lovey Dovey was huge, so I'm baffled it wasn't nominated. Not hating on Hyuna, and I like Ice Cream, but the song has just been released. Did it get overwhelming critical acclaim to be nominated?
And yes, the Global Girl Group. I thought T-ara's success in a global scale was far better than f(x)? They received gold status in Japan recently, and they had some sold-out concerts, so why are they not in the nominations?

Okay to be honest probably Tatiseo/SNSD & Troublemaker would win the awards... but on the other hand isn't this proof that T-ara right now is considered one of the top 5 girl bands?
PS: Lovey Dovey not being nominated for best song of the year sucks, but I'll accept it .... BUT how the hell did Hyuna's Ice Cream get to be nominated for this category& for best dance solo when she only has started promoting this week? Also with all of their international promotions & Japanese albums why isn't T-ara nominated for Global Group Female, while F(x) is nominated?

At this current moment, it seems better for her to stay with T-ara doing activities together, and probably having a downtime together as well. The amount of physical stress for their beyond crazy schedule (Japan and Asia tours) is already very high, TV appearance would probably add more physical and mental stress from what's leftover from the scandal.
But, my heart is still pounding over this kinda news for Eunjung. We know how much she is into acting. She was originally trained as an actress, then sidetracked becoming an idol. Still she was doing great as an idol actress. And in Star Life Theater she said how much she wanted to established herself as an actor, despite feeling very happy to be with T-ara.
Hope you'll get whatever is best for you, Eunjung. Be it with busy with T-ara or acting, be happy!

Sidenote: KKS should slow down for real. It seems the scandal only fueled his ambition to squeeze T-ara even more.

Aite guys and girls, I just went through the whole vid (robbe_881 - thank you very much for providing the HD version ) and while I can't provide a full translation due to the length of the footage, I'll describe this out as best as I can (for those asking, I'm Korean here so the language is no barrier to me at all, though the music background could have been lower in audio so I may have not heard everything correctly - or maybe my speakers are just...well, ah whatever).
I really must say, I'm terribly sad to tell those who were expecting the girls to come forward regarding the scandal had expected too much. In fact, the first half of the video had nothing to do with 'confession' at all and was more set to their showcase in Malaysia.
When the group were altogether in the hotel room (after the ad break) where the subject regarding that mess was talked about, Hwayoung herself was not even directly mentioned and they were actually very, very vague as to what occurred and even then, spent a great deal of the second half of the show mostly talking about themselves and the group as a whole.
What Soyeon did however, admit (note - this has little to nothing to do with the scandal) is that way back in the BPBP days, the group was particularly starved and forced into something that may be seen as a severe diet up to the point that when other idols or singers that were their seniors (in terms of how long they were in the industry) usually left behind leftovers after performances, the girls actually grabbed as much as they could - particularly snacks and gimbap, shoved such food in their pockets and even ate them in the toilets to avoid getting caught.
That....is pretty darn nasty. When Areum says that what she's going through doesn't even amount to even one bit of what T-ara had to go through since debut, Soyeon then lets out that there were quite a lot of moments that the members cried.
Basically, the title of the show 'Confession' is rather quite misleading. In fact, none of the members look even willing to spill anything in detail at all - in other words, what exactly transpired. I'd even go to say it did little to nothing to actually contradict what antis, netizens believe.
And why? The most likely reason is that what they say is being filtered and monitored by a certain someone (no prizes to guessing who that is). CCM is part of Mnet Media itself (and Mnet Channel is the one broadcasting this) - there's no way they'd let anything in detail be told at all, no matter how much T-ara wants to speak out for themselves without internal consequences.
All in all, it's rather disappointing, even for me who didn't expect much out of it.

Edit: I also forgot to mention this - the members, Hyomin and Soyeon in particular, have said that they're worried for us fans as well. Whether if they actually know how divided the fandom has become or simply that they're concerned with the crap we had to pull over with from antis or netizens as a whole is debatable, as they were quite vague with this too.

To be honest,I'm not a fan of cute and bubbly concepts (like how most rookies groups do nowadays) and seeing that an underage girl to join T-ara pretty much tells us that they gonna repeat doing cutey songs such as BPBP which,I'm not very keen of.I'm more into ballad and mature concepts such as Cry Cry and Day By Day.IF she was well-trained and at least 17 or above and not just randomly being picked by a pedo at streets,I'd have like it but I'm sorry but I can't even...
