Yeah,I agree whole-heartedly.I don't see the purpose of it and a lot of fans and non-fans say that its rather confusing.Honestly,I believe that either Soyeon or Eunjung should be their permanent leader as I can see a leader vibe in both of them. They can be scary sometimes.I remember in one scene where they were arguing and they look intimidating.Jiyeon is too young (and she's a little childish) to hold a leader's position,Boram and Qri are too quiet while Hyomin is somewhat in the middle.

Lol CCM, then who's also going to be the next person into the group and who'll be the next to be dropped off the bat in the future?
Bad jokes of mockery aside, I do kinda hope their next comeback is as six - and for once, get a badass song like TTL. Relive those old days of 6-ara. It won't even matter if I have to wait a full year for it.

Even if true, Areum's chances of being successful as a solo are extremely low, if not even zero.
    1. Popularity comparable, or even lower than Boram and Qri. In other words, she's only marginally popular than a nugu rookie idol.
    2. Vocal skills. She's not even on Soyeon's level, nor is she comparable to other vocally able idols like Taeyeon and Hyorin. I won't even get started on her 'rapping'.
    3. Agency. Let's be honest here - CCM's management is awfully sub-par, and that's putting it subtly. Last time they had a successful solo was Lee Hyori, and that was 4 years ago.
    4. Chances are she's probably going to be added into a different group into the future as the main 'vocal' or the 'visual'. There's a good chance that CCM is saying BS here and Areum playing along with it. After all, CCM seems to enjoy rearranging its groups during June and July, for whatever reasons.

    [13.07.12] When will "original 6-member T-ara" make a comeback?

Girl group T-ara is back to their original line-up that they had when they first came out in 2009. This has attracted attention of new and old fans alike since it is their original color.

In 2010, Hwayoung joined and then had a tumultuous withdrawal. Followed by her was Areum who said she wanted to become a soloist recently. T-ara has gone through a lot of changes in the past 4 years, but now they will return to their original six members.

According to the agency, they are working on collecting songs for T-ara. There are some candidates, but they are being cautious of what they choose.

Right now, T-ara's agency is rushing for T-ara's junior group 5dolls comeback after being gone for two years and then afterwards they will have Davichi and SPEED's comebacks. "Original 6-member T-ara" will comeback later.

An official said, "As early as the beginning of next year is when the comeback will probably be. Right now, we are looking for a song and depending on how fast we find one will determine when they comeback. For now, there are no immediate plans set in stone for a comeback date."

On the 10th, T-ara's Areum announced she wanted to pursue a career as a solo artist and recorded a message announcing her withdrawal.

The atmosphere in Thailand was superb too and that, there were many fans in Thailand so a smile can be seen on their faces. Boram looked gorgeous at that time. Also to note, Jiyeon's MC was superb though only short while.

First of all guys, I must tell you that if you are hot headed, or a CCM/KKS bias-ed, or just can't take a little criticize about the girls...I suggest you stop right here and don't bother to read the rest. Although the reason I'm doing this is because, I want to make it clear, once a for all; yes! I've been waiting for this day, the day that this controversy is finally over.
Over here doesn't mean that the antis will stop hating our Queens and us. Over here means that no more discussion, no more assumptions, no more scenarios or things that isn't clear and made we have doubts in our girls.
I'll be honest will you, up until the day of the latest Beatle Codes ep featuring T-ara was aired, I was still 50.50 on the whole bullying thing. Yes yes don't judge me yet, I have every right reason for doing so because there were a few events that happened that left alone and no-one bother to look over it, quite a number of fans like me did...I believe!

There are 3 things I want to talk about:

1.What actually happened based on what Hyomin and Eunjung said + all the things we know.
    2. The reason for Hwayoung's departure.
    3. The future of our girls.

First of all, let's sum up what happened...

25/07 : T-ara tweeted ( except Qri) about the Determination about Bodukan Concert
After the girls are back from Japan, they did fight, there were conflicts between them. I assume that they were in their mental stage, it was a reckless action for them to show it on twitter. If anyone ask me did they bully Hwayoung, I would say yes! just for that twitter incident, they did, and even Eunjung said it herself, they've admitted that it was wrong to outcasted Hwayoung like that on twitter.
27/07: The rumors about bullying in T-ARA started ( based on netizens evidences) + Music bank performance
Now this is the main point, which made everything came out the light. Based on what KKS said, Hwayoung refused to perform, and had attitude towards the staff members. Now based on what Hyomin and Eunjung said, KKS did not let her perform, in the pre-record performance, she was there, but at the actual record performance, she wasn't. Hyomin had to earn the rap in 15mins, the rest of the members were mad at KKS for his decision, leading the expression of the rest of T-ara's members on that perf seems..angry and suspicious?
    30/07: Hwayoung left T-ARA after 20 months
Now look back at all the information we have...and yes I meant ALL OF THEM...
I can proudly tell you that, there were absolutely no such thing as the girls been bullying Hwayoung for a very long time. But...on twitter, they did, that is totally UNDERSTANDABLE.. why? Because they were tired, they fought while in Japan, Hyomin said after they got back, it was totally awkward between them all. As for the rest of the time, since Hwayoung joined, I can assure you that, absolutely no bullying had ever happened. Also, no such thing as Hwayoung has "attitude", I meant look up guys...it all lies. Basically after Hwayoung left T-ara, whatever KKS told us...are totally lies, and it's not like he hadn't been lying to us a few times already...

http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.com.au/2013/05/instiz-t-ara-and-kim-kwang-soo-are-each.html?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed <--- this pretty much tell us how much of a liar and an a** he is...
So after the the contro started, what did he lied to us?

    Twitter accounts were hacked
    - Are u kidding me? U think we are kids?
Hwayoung refused to perform + disrespect the staffs which lead to the final decision of KKS; kick her out of T-ara
    - Now this one is an interesting one, you know for the total 8months, I still couldn't figured it out exactly why Hwayoung was seen out the changing room + crying + threw her crutches + sat on the floor... Until Hyomin told us that KKS did not let Hwayoung perform, now that makes perfect sense. And by not letting her perform, the controversy started to fired up O____O....for real.
About Hwayoung's departure, the girls said they did not know anything until the last minute, they did not want Hwayoung to leave, and I'm pretty sure that the 19 staffs blad blad blad were bullsh*t also =.=...

So..let's finished up this bullying thing. Now that I'm totally believe that there were no bullying, and based on what I wrote above, if anyone ever come to you tell u that they were bullying Hwayoung. Well what are u waiting for? Use what I wrote and fired back at them.
And to the Hwayoung antis....I've also wait for a long time until this day, the day when you all will feel ashamed of yourself by saying such thing about her. I meant the you guys blamed her for all that happened and totally bias-ed KKS. Now you see the thruth...

    2. The reason for Hwayoung's departure...I won't say much about this... Let's go straight into the main point. KKS found Ahreum and Dani, so....kick out a member that only has a few lines of rap in every song is ok..beside Ahreum can rap and sing, I'm not sure about Dani though. So yea... he used the opportunity to kick Hwayoung out. Make senses?

    3. The future of our girls...The way I see it now, T-ara will be a 5 members groups, the "unnies" will be out...That's what I predict...Also...if possible...I would love to see them all get the hell out of CCM/ KKS' hands... If you know what I meant
In conclusion, T-ara went down is...? Because of CCM/KKS poorly handling the situations skill + making up things which made the whole thing worst. Since now every makes perfect sense, this controversy is over for us Queen's, I hope no one will have anymore doubts on the girls. Yea....I did..for 8months....and now I don't anymore

With SNSD preparing for its own US debut this year, seems like CCM's gotten bloated off with its idiocy again. Why am I not surprised. Then again, CCM did try to make T-ara a group of 9 members like SNSD last year

Also Hwayoung didn't withdrew from the group she was fired/removed but this is a side note.
Anyway the whole rural life thing sounds very similar to 2YOONS 24/7 concept if you ask me but i might just be jumping the gun here. Anyway I don't get the mend hearts thing either, as it will take more then this to cool down the spirits of the people who have resentments against T-ara, if anything this has a chance of blowing up in their face for so many reasons.
And no offense to anyone but this sounds like KKS is trying to cash in on the sub-unit craze that's currently going on in Kpop/hallyu wave.
Well no matter, I just hope this all goes well and it will somehow work out, and it will get positive feedback, and the girls will get good coverage and even though I doubt they can create a national dance trend I hope the dance routine/song will be catchy and popular as T-ara really needs a big hit right now to get back into the thick of it.

    @vervainify
Yea, you've pretty much nailed what I was trying to say and my intentions the whole time (hell, probably even wholly as a member here). If I had to put it very simply, one of K-pop's biggest flaws is that the idol groups are constantly sugarcoated and marketed by their agencies as perfect saints that can do absolutely no harm or bad - and as a Korean myself, I do feel obliged to let international fans know that not everything is clear glossy crystal as it's made to be.
Thanks for putting it very clearly Couldn't have said it better myself haha.
    @Eunjung4eva
In my defense, it's not merely out of pride or stubbornness - as much as I can be strong and harshly-worded at times, I do know when to draw the line, concede or stop (as I'm sure you're well aware of our discussions in the past - and attempted to in this previous debacle). The biggest problem I have is that Ryu's behavior has always been like this in the past and has received a lot of flak and complaints for it so it's to be expected he would at least behave more properly instead of repeating the same thing he's been complained about - which does not do anyone any favors at all. And certainly, making excuses for iljins that do things that can be considered criminal acts is actually pretty stupid, no matter how much defense is put onto it.
Notice that he also has ignored your suggestion of having a more calm approach.
As I've mentioned in my previous posts, you perhaps may not have witnessed all the extensive arguments other members had gone through with him in the past (and quite frankly, this occurred a lot more frequently and as one who expected him to behave and be more reasonable due to all the trouble he caused as well as ignoring him after all this time, I had to draw the line in between). You can talk to other regulars here regarding this history and I'll guarantee you, that they'll very likely will say he has issues - namely absolute intolerance to opinions that contrast his. That I can surely and safely say, is the behavior of a fanatic and Diadem quite frankly, doesn't need people like that.
Nitpicking sentences and paragraphs and making multiple arguments out of another argument, as I recall, is not very pleasant and comes off as rude, disrespectful and disruptive to the opposite party and makes debates more heated and pointless (and I'll tell you that even moderator GRIMLOCK himself had his own unpleasant experience regarding Ryu as well). As one who does his best to be a law-abiding citizen in general though, I will still reserve the option to report him without hesitation if he repeats such behavior again.
But with that said, as moderator SimonH said, let's put an end to the argument here as it does not do anyone any favors by this point. I won't dwell any further into this, the moderator's word always triumphs and I fully respect that.
I'll concede here that I myself have gotten carried away myself a bit and heavily apologize for any inconveniences it may have caused for others here, whether it be regular members or staff.
As @Eunjung4eva and SimonH have stated, I also agree put this whole argument to a complete close (can someone actually lock this to prevent it from going wild again? Just to be safe. That's all)
    Thanks peeps!

"Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon and Areum will appear similar with their promotions with T-ara, contrary to what most usual sub-units do. Their agency said, "We want to take this chance to familiarize the public with them individually."

T-ara plan to appear on stage with a dance similar to the Village People's "YMCA" dance which became popular in the late 1990's that is easy to follow. The song will have an easy and gentle melody and dance their agency hinted. T-ara hope to make the dance a national trend. Their agency joked, "The song will hopefully be the second coming of 'Gangnam Style'."

The other members, Qri, Boram and Soyeon, will stick to individual activities. T-ara will reunite in the summer and plan to reach over 150,000 fans in a Japanese Arena Tour.

Last year, T-ara held a six city tour in Japan including two sold out performances in Tokyo's Budokan Arena.

    ***
    1. I think it's pretty darn obvious that the public already has a very good idea who Jiyeon, Eunjung and Hyomin are since...I dunno, because they already got the most promotions during T-ara's whole lifetime as a group? - and on the worst side, Hyomin and Jiyeon's reputation in Korea is the worst of the entire group up to the point it's like a large permanent black stain on them. It's not going away anytime soon. If they're going to appear 'similar' to what T-ara as a group does, then it's either A) CCM's slowly taking the steps to moving the group when Soyeon, Qri and Boram's contracts expire or get kicked for whatever reason, or, B- Laziness and not being able to bother even coming up with something different for this subgroup.

    2. There goes CCM again with its typical overhyping, just like it did with virtually the vast majority of T-ara's comebacks. It's old and really makes it look laughable - or just really hard to even take seriously. Not even YG would do something as specific as this when it comes to media play. National trend? Is this a joke? Last year for Day By Day before it was released, CCM claimed everything about the choreography would be super cool and all because it was Jonte who made it. I sure as hell don't remember people commenting how 'awesome' or memorable it was as opposed to Roly Poly's one, and even that's pretty much forgotten nowadays.

    3. Good luck with reaching over 150k fans XD. That's probably the rough estimate of the total number of J-fans for SNSD and Kara - whose status and popularity in essence, dwarfs T-ara by miles. This is hardly any different than that idiotic statement (or rather, boast) from early last year when CCM said it'll give a 'free concert' if the Jewelry album reached 500k sales - which it never got even close to achieving half or even a quarter of that amount. In fact, it only achieved a little over 100k sold during 2012.

    4. On the plus side, at least the three underdogs (okay, Soyeon probably isn't *that* much of an underdog but compared to other members, still one to a degree) are supposedly getting something of their own. But for all things considered and how CCM isn't so capable of keeping true to its promises or statements, Boram, Qri and Soyeon getting individual activities can only be proven once news of them being confirmed for specific activities comes out.

I think more like 100,000 people that attended the performances. Not 100,000 fans. That is a huge starking difference.
If we take into a look into the numbers here, the Diadems here alone number at nearly 40,000 and that's a combination of multiple countries around the world. The Korean fandom, even larger than that (and even then, was still large enough to keep Sexy Love from being a big whacking flop, as many people expected it would). I really doubt there could be 100,000 people even considered as fans of the group in Japan.
Hell, even SNSD's J-fanbase alone there is probably around the 100-150k range, and that's being the second most popular K-girl group in Japan.

From your logic, then that's like saying I'm a 'fan' of any other group I watch in some performance, which is absolute bullhonkey. Hell, maybe I'm a fan of that Christian contemporary music singer whose amazing performance I saw way back in 2011 too then. Right? Right? Regardless, it's idiotic to simply assume every member of the audience became a fan of theirs and only delusional people would believe such a thing.
I don't know where you got your thing about 'international numbers are quite large in comparison' but the Diadem Forums alone here is the largest collection and that number alone is 37,327 as of now. Add that with the total number of J-fans, and the total number would be at best 100-150k, not including the number of K-fans still around. SNSD's fanbase in Japan alone is likely around that range and KARA's one is probably even bigger.
It doesn't make any sense that T-ara's fanbase there could have caught up that quickly, especially since both KARA and SNSD have been promoting in Japan far longer than they have (in fact, far longer every year), not to mention more amount of effort was put in comparison.

Scatter_88mil got a reaction from klee95 in [13.01.29] T-ara's Eunjung and f(x)'s Amber to debut as MCs on MBC Show Champion
Shindong as an MC? O.o Lawdy hell, I'm well aware of Kim Shinyoung being a very capable MC on her own (along with Yoo Jaesuk and Kang Hodong), but Shindong? I'll buy earplugs
Anyways, just a question - does Eunjung have any experience as an MC? From what I can tell, this is probably her very first time as an MC since her experience in major shows in TV seems quite limited (and it doesn't help T-ara's not very well known for variety, Soyeon being an exception). With the K-public still not so welcoming, the PDs are putting quite a bit of risk and everyone else will probably have very high expectations on her too.
Eunjung's looking at a very potentially stressful situation there, guys and girls.
