It would be nice to have someone with Soyeon and Eunjung's vocals but if that was the case, I would rather that person (if Dani does happen to belong to that group) become a soloist than debut in a group. Groups were meant to have vocal harmony, which T-ara does (at least from what i heard in AFA, it seems like it does). Like that interview in Win Win with IU, the reason why she wasn't put/debut in a group was because her voice stands out too much that it would've cause a clash between the vocals.
I personally wouldn't want one person outshining the rest by a large margin (in terms of singing), especially if it's an idol group. And like Scatter said, T-ara is an idol group, they aren't or rather weren't meant to be or have vocal powerhouses. And if they were, they should've been a smaller group like 2-4 of them instead of 5, 6, 7+
That's what I've been thinking since the rumors and the official announcements of additions to T-ara.
Personally, if T-ara does turn into AS, as in the graduation concept, I'm throwing my Queen's title out the window.
Only the future will tell if these additions were a good thing or a bad thing. Hopefully the former. (even though i despise the additions with my whole body and soul)

CCM's way of promoting its members are probably the worst in the industry imo. First, comparing them to already famous or successful groups, emphasizing on skills and looks they have; probably and most likely to a point of exaggeration, and giving tidbits of irrelevant information - to divert your attention
Now, I'm just waiting to see how bad CCM and KKS screwed up this time or not. Maybe he didn't and actually succeeds again.

It's not like adding that kid in would make a difference. I mean, what does she got? Basically nothing right now, expect for the fact that she lived in the US for roughly 10 years, minus some years for being a trainee in Korea.
As for the fancafe, i think even if they do sign a petition, it would be deleted seeing as how CCM is the one who's managing the fancafe right now.
And the tweets for the past 2 days has been rather... depressing in a sort of way. ._.;

If the real reason for adding that 14 year old; who's lived in the US for probably less than a decade, was because she has some English speaking skills, i'm going to flip. I mean, Soyeon can probably speak better English than the new girl if she, Soyeon gets some real tutoring
And i can already see the headlines in the future, "14 year old idol (because i don't know her name and won't even bother remembering it anyway) in T-ara goes to hospital because of stress and lack of sleep" ...... >_>

I had the same thoughts; "Worldwide known cartoon character TTOMA" and i'm like "TTOMA? never heard of it.." maybe it's only known in Asia? meh

Honey Honey was similar to LD... for me, I think they should've choose another song, like Tonight. I really like that song, and i think that should've been their debut song. Honey Honey just isn't going to stick for me....

1. How did you discover T-ara?
A: Sometime early last year, there had been a program on MTV Asia playing, “Top 100 K-Pop MVs” or something like that. Having only been exposed to SNSD so far and being relatively new to the genre, I decided to take it as an opportunity to broaden my scope of K-pop, maybe introduce myself to a few groups that I could follow.
Then I Go Crazy Because Of You started playing, with all the flashing lights and the heavy beat and those six fierce girls, and I was just floored. I think I spent the whole afternoon just watching I Go Crazy Because Of You performances, before I moved on to Why Are You Being Like This, YaYaYa, Bo Peep Bo Peep, TTL, Like The First Time – you get my drift. I remember watching an episode of Hello Baby to end off the day, that one with them joking around in the ramen shop, and well, the rest is history. I was sold.
2. Why do you like T-ara?
A: I could go on forever.
They are amazing performers, no question. Versatility is something that I deeply admire in a performer, and these girls really live up to their “chameleons of gayo” name. Character, strength, overwhelming stage presence – they’ve got it all. And, most importantly, do they ever know how to have a good time. To me, it doesn’t matter so much if your choreography is spot-on, or if you’re pitch-perfect. What matters more, I think, is a performer’s ability to get their audience to enjoy the performance. Engage them, have fun on stage, thoroughly enjoy what you’re doing, so that the audience may enjoy themselves too.
The seven of them represent just the sort of performer I aspire to be. They helped shape my performance philosophy, or to put it simply, they changed what I was aiming for as a dancer. They helped me improve, at a time where I had hit a bit of a rut. I have a lot to thank them for.
But that’s only one half of it. They’ve taught me so many things, so many lessons. Know your weaknesses and work with your strengths. Spiteful words should be brushed off and ignored. Never be afraid of trying again. Worries are merely fleeting things. Take what chances you can get, carpe diem. To be imperfect is to be human. There’s a time for work, and a time for play. They’ve worked and charged through the thick of what we know as their crazy schedules, but, no doubt, they’ve also had to face difficulties that we Queen’s do not know of (and, in all likelihood, will never know of). And yet, there they still stand, smiling, laughing, joking around, bringing joy to us by being joyful themselves.
I needn't go into how beautiful they all are, or their wonderful voices, their dancing, their acting, or even their lovable, adorable, quirky personalities. I can safely say that those are some of the many things that all Queen's love about them, no matter who we are or where we come from. But they've always been more than just idols – that being singers, dancers, actresses, performers – to me. They are “idols” that truly deserve to be idolized and looked up to, because of all they are and all they represent.
Role models. I'd call them that.
3. What is your favorite thing to do/feature on Diadem?
A: In this rumor-rich environment called the K-pop fandom, where the validity of tidbits and articles constantly comes into question, I've come to rely on Diadem to provide reliable translations for all the T-ara news I need to know. Much easier than having to cross-check every other piece of info here and there.
And of course, there're the subbed videos and translations for non-Korean speaking fans like myself. I highly doubt I would have been able to learn as much as I did about T-ara without them.
(...I'm sorry it's so long, lol.)

1. How did you discover/learn about T-ara?
A: I listened to kpop on and off from 2006-2010. I mostly listen to music that appeared in the Korean drama that I'm watching and it just so happens that I was watching Cinderella's Sister and T-ara's BPBP appeared. I looked up the group that sang it and read their profiles, but I didn't listen to their songs. I eventually forgot about BPBP and the group.
And then 2011 came around and I watched Dream High. For me, if I liked a character in the drama, I usually look up the actor/actresses' profile to watch other dramas they appear in. Yoon Baek Hee lead me to Ham Eun Jung that eventually lead me to T-ara again.
Still, I didn't really listen to their music until I saw "Running Man" Episode 55, where T-ara's Jiyeon guest star. I thought to myself, "T-ara keeps popping up everywhere, I guess it's time to listen to their songs" This time, I did a little more research and started to listen to their music from their debut days onwards. I really like "Lies" and when I listened to TTL/TTL2, I got seriously hooked.
But even then, I was just a casual fan. But as I watched the various variety shows they appeared in, I got to see each member's personality and their songs were just so catchy and soothing to my ears.
I don't know when or how, but before December of 2011, T-ara just snatched a piece of my heart.
2. Why do you like T-ara?
A: There isn't a reason to why you like something or someone. Out of all the idol groups currently active, T-ara is my ultimate favorite. It might because of their constant change in styles in both the music and concept that made me stick with them as well as their unique personalities. Truthfully, I don't usually stick to stars. I get tired of them after a month or two, but there's something about T-ara that's making me want to stick to them forever~
