  1. Well, whether if it can be called a vacation or not, I can't be sure. They're going to film a music video...that's a heap load of work still. I'm wondering how is it that all 7 members got to go though....but hey, Europe? Now that's something I can't afford in a lifetime. Lucky them for sure. But why the bloody hell is KKS going? He sure as hell likely didn't accompany T-ara whenever they went to Japan, at least to my knowledge. It's like saying Obama should accompany Delta Force on every mission it's sent to, whether it be domestic or overseas. Talk about some crazy micromanagement there If anything, the scumbag is more productive by roleplaying dictators like Hitler or Stalin. Regarding this new girl group set for May, let's well hope that they won't be put into the dustbin like Co-Ed did.
  2. Well at least they'll be away from KKS, that evil son of a xxxx Hopefully neither of the two will have a densely-packed schedule while at Europe. Because if they do, I'll just slander KKS even more.
  3. I highly doubt that all, or even the majority of CCM's higher staff even agree with KKS's idiotic decision - T-ara is currently at the height of its popularity and to change members at this time period is no different to Hitler sacking his own generals over personal reasons when winning the war was a much more higher priority. If he thinks changing/replacing members is going to work, all he's going to do is lose a lot of fans. And as far as the Kpop industry goes, fans = money. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that he wants to beat SM financially as well as replacing SNSD as the national idol girl group of Korea by making his own SNSD-type group - the thing is, CCM can never stand up against SM at all. SM not only has a larger financial advantage but also has massive influence and connections in the entertainment industry, not to mention they're much more better at promoting their groups and the members for the most part. Hell, I don't recall SM calling out to the media that they're going to kick out any of the SNSD members over 'laziness' and 'pride'.
  4. What is this? CCM said T-ara won't be acting for all of this year. What a bunch of hypocrits Add in that T-ara also has to promote in Japan in June, followed by their second album in July, the timing for this musical is just god-awful. KKS, you're starting to give me more justification in slandering you and you company, old f**ker.
  5. I'm curious as to why it's generally thought that all celebrities have these 'mysterious' sponsors. As far as it goes, these sponsors are more likely to be around solo celebrities or even those that aren't highly popular (Jang Ja Yeon being one particular case) - and for sure, likely don't have much say against the agencies, especially if it's the agencies that control the contracts and the idols' daily lives. That is of course, unless KKS himself happens to be the sponsor (the maggot isn't even married so there's one suspect to put on the hit list - plus FlyBri mentioned that Qri is generally thought to be that POS's 'favorite' member up to the point of infatuation). For sure, I highly doubt members like Boram would have sponsors, considering her family's status in the entertainment industry while Ji Yeon is still a minor by age (yes, she doesn't turn 19 until June and in Korea, 19 is when one is finally an adult). So Yeon sure likely did not have a sponsor either when she joined the group - if background info is checked, she joined only a month before T-ara's debut - if she DID have a sponsor, I'm very fairly certain plastic surgery was something she would have taken - and looking at her face, it doesn't look much like one that's gone through the knife when you compare it with other idols (hell, the only thing she ever had was a shot in the nose and usually, 99% of idols don't admit they had surgery while on screen). To put it simply, the dangerous presence of those sub-human, evil and despicable sponsors can be seen as exaggerated to a degree. Hell, a long-time friend of my dad himself is also a sponsor to several celebrities but the guy almost never met the celebs himself - and is busy with his own work round the clock. Living costs at the dorms, costumes, MV production etc. are all also paid by the agencies themselves (or at least most of it) rather than the sponsors - while I cannot say the same for smaller agencies, the Big Three and even Cube and CCM sure as hell are able to pull it off with their own cash, which in turn, is made from their idols - and we all know where that main source of income is from - right, the fans, whom are probably in the millions. That is a huge, MASSIVE load of money. Which goes to say, T-ara's MVs initially were all short but from 2011 and beyond, they became much much longer thanks to the amount of money they earner, even as going as far as multiple Lovey Dovey MVs - highly doubt sponsors would be sane enough to pay for several MVs with the same song, yet alone one that costs millions. I agree with you about Eun Jung - if she does leave, she'd focus on her acting and release solo albums. She'd do great in the long run, actually. Though personally, I'd say she's still slightly a bit too young to do both at once - and she's probably quite exhausted from it as well. But then again, if she left, the impact on T-ara would be enormous. If T-ara disbands or if she's the one that's given the boot, then hell, I'll support her all the way unless she gets caught for some heinous crime.
  6. And despite that, CCM didn't really gain any sympathy or support from the public in general as far as I know. I don't recall them bringing out any solid evidence to back up their claims - just like how SM was unable to bring up anything serious to try convince everyone that JYJ was sueing them for personal motives and greed. If anything, they made themselves look like a bunch of clowns whose typical responses on such situations are irrational and reactionary at best.
  7. Hmm, if what you said were the case, then we're looking at either Eun Jung or Ji Yeon as the most likely candidates that would leave, considering both were actresses before debut and it was their original goal in the start. And as we all know, they're among the most overworked members, if not THE most. But even then, if either of those two (or both) were the ones to leave, the impact would be immense, considering their positions in T-ara are very, very difficult to replace at this stage - not to mention they're also original members and perhaps the most well-known. Unless they're very selfish bastards themselves, it really doesn't seem all that possible that they asked for a career fully dedicated to acting - though it certainly cannot be ruled out and is open to discussion. Minus Hwa Young, given that the six members have been together since 2009, it's hard to imagine that they'd go their own way in such a fashion. By the way, I don't think lowering their paycheck is the only punishment he'll be using. The guy's a nutcase, no doubt about it. If anything, lowering the paycheck is only going to further anger the current members and cause more bad news in the long run. He's more concerned with his own ego and ambition of beating one of the Big Three - in which that would be SM and its group SNSD.
  8. Hmm, if that really is the case, all I can say is good luck to her. After School for one thing, was never able to reach the level of popularity and recognizement as other idol groups, especially with several of its members. If KKS finds her lazy simply because she doesn't move that well when onstage (which is due to being overworked and terribly exhausted and we all know whose fault is that), then by all means, he should be sent over to North Korea as packaged food for the people starving there.
  9. Ah I see. Now that you mention it, it could be quite related to Pledis' rather ridiculous and laughable member system. Makes me wonder who's the next one to get the boot in that group O.O
  10. The only thing us fans can do is a) simply stop becoming fans if our favorite members are kicked out or the line-up is radically changed make a mob and attack CCM's HQ and lynch KKS c) don't buy anything about T-ara after April 7th d) assassinate KKS Of course, option B and D are quite imaginery at best. Sorry to burst your bubble but if you thought CCM was professional, you've been manipulated by them till now. CCM's level of management was always laughable and even downright pathetic.
  11. Ah right, thanks for the info Just skimmed through the article and saw that the amount of money made from their Japanese promotions wasn't included in the figure lol.
  12. Frankly, I don't think the members would be too scared to fight back if they've been pushed around and bullied for long - as we all know, they're almost reaching their third year since debut and as GD of Big Bang said, idols get the tendency to rebel at that stage. Even if they go down the drains and become forgotten, they'd probably prefer that over having to be a mindless slave for that despicable sub-human for God-knows-how-long. Even if CCM leaks behind-the-scene scandals, the real question is whether the public will believe them or not by the time T-ara files a lawsuit. SM sure as hell didn't have much to leak out when DBSK and Han Geng went up against them and the only thing they could say was that JYJ were doing it for personal gain - which made them look like complete clowns who had little to no idea how to respond to the situation. CCM certainly didn't leak anything about Nam Gyuri when she left. If anything, leaking such scandals can even drag the police into the mess - last thing any talent agency would want is the police knocking on their doors with search warrants. As far as I know, lawsuits by idols usually gain sympathy and support from the public and the number of those that support the agencies is significantly lower. Hell, when KARA went up against DSP, virtually everyone I know that catches around with Kpop news sided with KARA - some even went as far as slandering DSP. Suffice to say, talent agencies in general at Korea don't really have much of a good reputation, although the Big Three may be an exception to a degree. The case of actress Jang Ja Yeon's suicide back in early 2009 in particular raised public awareness about the dark side of the talent agencies.
  13. Correct me but didn't Bekah leave AS because she wanted to become a designer? She even said she hoped to design an album for AS in the future
  14. I'd rather them leave CCM completely and sign with a new agency with a new start. CCM's business strategies are only effective in the short term. Long term-wise, they're a walking disaster. As we all may know, Co-Ed is pretty much non-existent and adding Qri and Boram isn't going to put much effect into it. So Yeon into Davichi may also bring up a quite a bit of flak from the latter's fans, not to mention she'd be overshadowed by Kang Min Kyung and Lee Haeri by a considerable margin in both talent and image. The current members are simply just not very replaceable - they may have been back in 2009 and 2010 since they weren't highly popular at that time. Hell, I don't see SM attempting to transfer SNSD members into f(x) or SuJu members into DBSK. Or YG trying to put Gummy into 2NE1 or JYP putting So Hee with Miss A.
  15. Of course it's crazy, stupid and ridiculous - hell, even enough to warrant a visit to the mental hospital. But frankly, KKS doesn't care about fans so long as he gets money out of both T-ara and their fans as well as beating SM Entertainment by replacing SNSD as the top national girl idol group. If you have a big and sick ego like KKS, rationality and logic are almost completely non-existent. There's a reason why some historians point out that Hitler himself was one of the important factors to Germany's defeat in World War 2 - it was his ego.
  16. Well, CCM's level of management, as well as KKS himself, aren't exactly what you can call great. In fact, they're among the worst agencies in business - before T-ara debuted, they had SG Wannabe, SeeYa and Lee Hyori, all of whom left CCM after working for it for just a few years. And just look at their epic failure with Co-Ed. With an egoistic parasite like Kim Kwang Su around, anything bad is bound to happen. Why? Because he only cares about himself.
  17. Fully agree with you there. Putting a major change in the members will definitely piss off the tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of fans, whom are also the major source of income for both T-ara and CCM itself. This move is also bound to heavily affect the second album and its promotions scheduled for summer, and quite possibly, the Japanese album in June as well. By the way, could you provide any source that SNSD made 70 billion won from 2009 to 2011? For some reason, the figure seems a bit low, considering they made at least $17 million (18 billion won) in their Arena Tour in Japan in 2011 alone. Frankly, even if he puts more effort on marketing, quality of music production and among other things, it's still not going to be able to enough to overtake SNSD in profit, especially considering that SM has got more money, influence and connections (AND is very good at business and promoting) than CCM by a massive margin. If anything, it's only going to provoke SM to go even further. Not to mention a large portion of the money CCM squeezes has to go to maintaining its own TV channel - which is something that the Big Three do not have or need to worry about.
  18. To Mongrolian and FreakyFlyBri Yes, both of you raise very, very valid and strong points. To sum it up simply, T-ara is working under a ruthless dictator whose management and business skills are incompetent at best and sub-human at worst. If he's been active in the entertainment industry for 30 years, that means he's been in it since he was like 20 or so - and probably also implies he most likely never got to properly study business after graduating high school. Which also goes to say, Lee Soo Man of SM and JYP both have very respectable educational background in comparison. I think we can all agree that KKS's strategies can work in the short term (2 years at the most, as seen with T-ara) but the man clearly has no idea how to proceed in the long run - and that's something that a lot of businessmen will laugh and mock at him about. If anything, he's short-sighted like Hitler, who clearly did not prepare Germany for a long and attritional conflict no matter how much improvising was done. It's also more bumbling that CCM thinks it can both run its idols successfully while also maintaining its own broadcasting channel (which costs a HUGE amount of money). CCM obviously is not as financially well off as the Big Three and maybe even Cube. KKS is biting off more than he could chew - and this will be detrimental later this year at the earliest. Suffice to say, the man's a complete clown - and still my dad continues to mock him (and rightfully so) when we all eat dinner. Regarding Boram, I still have some doubts whether if she'll get the boot but as already mentioned by FlyBri, her family's position and influence in the entertainment industry isn't something to be underestimated for sure. I don't know about her family's relations with the other members of T-ara but if a lawsuit does occur, I believe her father would undoubtedly intervene and take their side. In fact, Mr. J is already likely going to pay KKS a visit and throw a tantrum anytime soon, if not already. Yes, the Korean philosophy does dictate hard work dictates character but as a Korean myself, there clearly are boundaries even in that ideology. There's a reason why students get long summer and winter breaks (aside from the weather). T-ara however, as said by others, has been overworked since 2009. How they actually managed to bottle up all that anger, sadness and other emotions inside for so long still continues to puzzle and shock me, as well as respecting them even more. Even if there are members whose talents are lacking, or at least untapped, they should at least be given the opportunity to appear in more variety shows or dramas on their own - SM did that just fine with its more unrecognized members of SNSD and Super Junior. Ditto, I never thought KKS had some sort of infatuation for Qri though - nor did I really recognize that. Never really figured it out until just now - personally, the mole on her nose seems a bit of a letdown but that's as much I have to say about Qri's physical appearances. Though considering she's also a internet ulzzang (or used to be), I guess there's a point. I heard she was apparently 'introduced' to KKS prior to debut and was the last member added before Hwa Young, which seems a bit fishy for me - the word 'introduce' has a lot of meanings, that's for sure.
  19. If Boram is considered lazy, then I should be considered a mindless zombie. Virtually all the members, Boram and Qri included, get only 2-3 hours of sleep a day on average, minus whatever plane flights they have. Talent-wise she may not be as active as the Big Four but regardless, the fact she's also dragged out like that still goes to show she's put her own effort in holding out like that. From your logic, I might as well say that support troops (comms, logistics etc.) in a military unit are considered lazy simply because the frontline combat units do most of the dirty work.
  20. This is no surprise since other members have shown to perform poorly during music performance as early as the Roly Poly promotions. Besides, Boram sure as hell ain't prideful on stage.
  21. Yes, we can both agree that Ji Yeon, Hyomin and Eun Jung are the least likely to get the sack. Given that they've done more solo work than any of the other members, they can't be replaced easily - not to mention all three of them are T-ara's most recognizable members with So Yeon closely making her way up. Although I'll have to disagree that So Yeon, Boram and Qri's age are important factors. MBLAQ's Seung Ho is the same age as So Yeon (turning 25 this year) and 2NE1's Dara and Bom are both turning 28 this year. After School's Jung Ah and Ka Hee are also older as well, 28 and 31, respectively. Hell, even some of SuJu's members are also older than Boram, Qri and So Yeon or at least at the same age. Lack of popularity and minimal talent are the most likely (if not, only) factors for those getting the boot. But then again, KKS's intelligence and logic is more comparable with that of a bird than a human. While Boram and Qri are the most likely candidates of being kicked, there are things to put into consideration. I don't know about Qri but Boram is likely going to be a harder nut to crack - even from T-ara's earlier years, she was clearly very recognizable and stood out quite a bit in appearance, not to mention her parents and even grandparents were celebrities themselves - and are likely very well-connected. Her dad especially, may put up resistance against KKS if Boram refuses to be kicked out. Talent-wise, I'm not sure exactly what Boram can offer but it's clearly CCM's fault for not expanding them, yet alone even caring about it. I'd dare say that even though Boram isn't as popular or heavily talented, her appearance alone has played an important part in representing T-ara on stage and screen. One correction to your post there - So Yeon is far, FAR from being lazy. The only real lazy douchebag is KKS himself.
  22. Agreed that Ji Yeon isn't a very good singer (unlike many of the Ji Yeon stans) but still, one cannot deny that her position in T-ara is regarded as crucial. You're absolutely correct that Eun Jung does need more lines - come to think of it, most of T-ara's title tracks since 2010 haven't really made use of whatever talent she had to offer. Glad you agree with me that adding Davichi in with T-ara is a bad idea. Even if they are added, it gives less lines for So Yeon and Hyomin and lowers their position, as I've mentioned. Hell for all we know, Kang Min Kyung might even replace Ji Yeon as T-ara's face if such a scenario occurred. Although collaborations between the two groups every once in a while is good to see (such as We Were in Love) and acceptable, anything beyond that point is simply just pushing it.
  23. I'm surprised people are saying that AKB48's style concept is now being followed by T-ara. But seriously, AKB48 has 57 members as of February this year. That's excluding the trainees planned to replace anyone that's going to be dropped. T-ara in comparison has only 7 members and if CCM increases the numbers, it's going to receive a lot of flak for copying SNSD and in effect, will very likely provoke SM and cause a major fan war with the Sones - and increase the number of haters/antis. The T-ara members are simply not as expendable as AKB48's members. It's like saying the US Air Force will switch its fleet of F-15s for thousands of anti-air defense systems. I can't begin to imagine how it's going to affect So Yeon's relationship with the SNSD members, considering they were trainees before SNSD itself debuted in 2007.
  24. Even so, it's still CCM's fault for not trying to get Boram and Qri into the spotlight fairly in the first place. Besides, CCM's level of management was never really impressive to begin with - I'd even say their management skills are downright sloppy and subject to plenty of jokes by comedians on stage. However, I don't think any of the members are intentionally trying to compete with eachother unless the members themselves are selfish scumbags who are cold and merciless like KKS himself - and that's unlikely at best. In Korea, it's a common mentality for people in the same small group to trust and stick with each other no matter what hardship comes by - this is something that occurs especially since the age of high school, where one is expected to meet his/her life-time friends there. Idol groups also develop a similar thing - especially if they've stuck together for years. I cannot say for DBSK, but the members of 2PM still think of Jay Park as a fellow member (they simply don't throw it around in public), SuJu still thinks of Han Geng as a fellow member and hell, So Yeon still has good relations with the SNSD members because she trained with them years back.
  25. Being an employee of a major company, I agree with you - healthy and happy employees leads to better productivity in most, if not all levels. I'd also like to note that KKS's 30 years of experience is all a pretty moot point and nothing more than just an excuse to get away with what he does - KKS himself was never an entertainer unlike the founders of the Big Three (YG, JYP and SM). The guy clearly has very little to no idea about what celebrities think about inside their heads and how their mentality works, yet alone even gives a damn. This is the one of the biggest gaps (if not, THE biggest) between him and the Big Three, whom he is obviously desperate to win against (or one of them) one way or another - SM is probably his target since SNSD is currently the top national idol girl group in Korea. YG, JYP and SM all at least know how the mentality of their idols works and they know when to give appropriate time to rest and refit (mostly anyway since cases like DBSK, Jay Park etc. are an exception). They're more than just your typical businessman looking for profit. Far more. They all went through their youthful years as famous celebrities themselves - Kim Kwang Su clearly has not. T-ara's only going to hurt themselves a lot more if they continue to stay under that piece of sh*t - they need a CEO who's had first hand experience as a celebrity him/herself.
