I wish them the best. I'm still pessimistic and am putting this down as nothing more than an expensive meet-and-greet that CCM hopes to use as PR material (whatever it's worth). Unless senior management from CCM accompanied the girls and will be meeting Brown's reps and his recording label's executives for genuine business talks, nothing concrete is going to come out from this "exploration". Perhaps KKS will be satisfied if this publicity event helps to sell a few more thousand records in the home country and brings T-ara to potential consumers' attention in other parts of the world. subtle_yuki
ohagi
This puts T-ara N4 on a whole new playing level in the world of music of the SK girl groups.....as far as the international stage is concerned. With the possibility of other collaborations, T-ara N4 may become a full-blown Hip-Hop group as a standalone without Qri, Soyeon and Boram??? He sad?! If.....they are successful that is in the American market and abroad.
tiaranatics
i hope they practice more english, if they are really going to debut in america. As i can see they are a little bit awkward with him, especially jiyeon. As i can see they are still adjusting and they having a culture shock. i hope they do well and it's true that they will meet with numerous American artists including Rihanna and Katy Perry. hahaha. i hope so. t-ara N4 fighting. and let's not forget qri, soyeon and boram, i hope they are doing good ))

RyanC
probably just a massive pr move. kks don't have interest in going international. he will take any chance to promote them if offered but will not initiate it himself. like the cancelled sf concert. free promotion is always good. Scatter_88mil
Ugh, I'm not the only one a bit sick from just looking at the photo, am I? As a few others have mentioned, at best, it's a PR move. A ridiculous one at that. Hell, not even the Big 3 companies could crack on America with their acts in the past so it makes it even more illogical (and to put it very bluntly, awfully dumb and foolhardy) for a company like CCM to attempt it. He sad?!If.....they are successful that is in the American market and abroad. Korea has its own share of hip-hop artists who are actually legitimate in what they do and it's these guys who are more taken seriously in that genre. T-N4 is not one of them. Ricky Ricardo
I'm still pretty sketchy if something really good will come out of this, music wise. It seems like an odd collab but I'm hoping for the best, if not other artists to work with them.

Scatter, mate no offense to you at all but your post is so random and all over the place. Who said that if Big 3 couldnt make it then none other company stands a chance?? Given that, Big 3 has more chances of being successful than other agencies but still doesnt legit your statement that other agencies will fall-flat if they arent big 3, themselves. Solin
I don't know why but I really don't have good feelings about this news. Chris Brown may be famous but he also has bad reputation. I just hope that it won' lead to something bad which can tanish the girls reputation. Aside that...I also hope CCM don't have idea for T-ara (or T-ara N4) to enter the US market I know that PSY story give hope for many korean artists to break the american market But PSY was lucky...and moreover all started from South Korea We have so many examples of korean artists who have this dream and fail So for now I just want T-ara to regain its level in South Korea and expand in Japan
Renar
Eunjung4evar, mate heres the thing Scatter and many others are right on the money when they say this is more of a PR move that an actual branching out, into a new market, and as far as PR is concerned it's a poorly thought out one, but meh it's KKS, As for not making it in the US I believe a Diadem subber in another thread explained what you need to make it in the US music industry. I think 2 threads back, but the fact is that despite all he said the resources of a company count a lot towards what a group can achieve, and SM and YG and JYP tried hard tp promote their best acts and didn't fare so well, so a company like CCM that's only getting by on what T-ara brings home I doubt would fare any better. And truth be told I think we can both agree on the fact, that N4 breaking into the American music stage and making it as an act would be great, it's not something that we can call a realistic goal given the current reality of things. Big market like US is something everyone wants and I respect their decision even if they accepted to collab with CB. Who cares about haters, they'll hate whatever our girls do. Now hopefully they pull out something noteworthy from this project, get recognized and start making their own English songs or collab with other, better respected artists. Cheerleader2012
I'm absolutely excited that T-ara N4's getting a chance to get an American debut so I know that I will be super duper satisfied either way, whether T-ara N4 will do a guest spot on one of Chris Brown's upcoming songs or they will simply get an American debut. I'm personally hoping that they'll be doing an American advancement and gain lots and lots of American Queens, both boys and girls. I also hope for the best and I know for sure that T-ara N4 will have total success in the US

He sad?!If.....they are successful that is in the American market and abroad. With T-ara joining the Wonder Girls, Girls' Generation, and 2NE1, and some from f(x), Sistar, and later on, Rania, making avenues into the U.S., I agree it will definitely make things more interesting. We still don't have any details yet on the Soyeon-Boram-Qri sub-unit, or when they will debut in Japan. T-ara N4 is already part of the genre with its promotional song, as it is no different for K-hiphop already being part of K-Pop. Please keep in mind that this meeting is T-ara, as a whole group, collaborating with Chris Brown in the U.S., because Dani is there, and there also could be cellphone/live video feeds for the other members to be on these meetings too (Technology). this is more of a PR move that an actual branching out, into a new market, and as far as PR is concerned it's a poorly thought out one, but meh it's KKS,As for not making it in the US I believe a Diadem subber in another thread explained what you need to make it in the US music industry. The whole PR move angle is quite inconsequential when for a fact public relations is practically involved in almost everything job related for entertainers. The right decision to call right now is wait and see if they can or cannot work something out. Everyone starting a venture into the U.S. will start somewhere and work their way up to get bigger and better. And given how well those companies have done from previous K-Pop artists, like 2NE1 winning an international award on MTV and having concerts, Psy (self-explanatory), SM Town performance in New York, and the Wonder Girls having a cross-country tour and managing to have a episode length movie, they all definitely made some connections while being here and I won't be surprised at all should they make even more connections in the future to come. Core Contents Media is starting to establish and cement connections in the U.S. now. I have faith in T-ara and Core Contents Media to make it here in the U.S. In truthfulness, reality includes positive events and thinking, so realistically, people making these types of goals are quite real, and most likely happens a whole lot for people everywhere. azr
Well, there is that KIIS FM Radio concert Festival Wango Tango that is going on somewhere near LA, so the possibility is there for the girls to meet up with other performers including Bruno Mars, Avril Lavigne, Demi Lovato, Will.i.am & Britney Spears. And since Chis Brown is associated with Jive Records & Zomba, Britney & T-ara rubbing shoulders is a very big possibility. Though like some of you I am skeptical of the whole thing since the girls would need somebody from CCM there for any collaborations to actually take place. It could all be a PR stunt to get the girls away from all the negativity they continue to face in Korea. BUT here I am crossing my fingers and hoping something very positive can come from this trip!! mAdNeSs~
Doesn't T-ara need visas to enter US? I remember they had to cancel that concert in US because of their visa problems. This meeting had to be planned for sometime since CCM announced like a day before the dream concert and now, T-ara N4 are already in US. I sincerely hope they are not planning to debut in US since T-ara is like one of the worst idol groups in speaking English.

That was back in early 2011, and plenty of time to get current visas. On a technicality, the concert organizers in San Francisco screwed up the visas for T-ara, Davichi, and Yangpa, not Core Contents Media. I'm sure the U.S. Embassy in South Korea was able to get them official visas within a day's time. According to the media reports online, Core Contents Media had to reschedule themselves to accommodate Chris Brown's invitation to visit the U.S. and discuss a possible working relationship. Sometimes a spur of the moment for an opportunity in the business world does happen from time to time. We'll see how well it turns out over the next few days. We don't know their current level of English, nor do we know how often they practice it, but given that Dani (U.S. Citizen) is fluent in English, and able to assist the rest of the group, there shouldn't be any doubts when it comes to their English language now. T-ara should be able to bridge and debut in the U.S.
@Eunjung4eva
@Renar, Well mate here's the say. Granted that Big 3 have more say when it comes to breaking out into such a big market and they have better connections and resources to support, promote and ad their idols/groups while Company like CCM has fairly less possibility of even being recognized, let alone breaking into the US market, which I agree myself but to say if its not Big 3 then its "NO, NOT AT ALL" is kinda off logic but it was just my opinion, nothing more nothing less..haha!! And truth be told I think we can both agree on the fact, that N4 breaking into the American music stage and making it as an act would be great, it's not something that we can call a realistic goal given the current reality of things. - Though I have my own thoughts about the Collab but I think its the best push T-ara can get in their career and yeah, I totally agree with you.
