Today, Lee Dong Gun wrote a message on his official fan page with the title “Hello everyone, I’m in Shanghai!”. He expressed his heart-felt feelings about his relationship with Jiyeon.

His message read, “Firstly, I’m really sorry that all of you learned about our relationship through the news. Jiyeon and I are currently in the phase of getting to know each other better. Although Jiyeon is a lot younger than I am, I have never felt that the difference in age matters. On the contrary, I feel that Jiyeon is a precious someone that I can rely on.”

Shortly after, Lee Dong Gun also expressed his thoughts about the relationship to the public. He said, “I know that many people are having very mixed feelings and opinions about our relationship. I would not be shaken and affected by this, I will be there for her. I hope everyone can give me your blessings, for us. I know that many people are not very positive about our relationship, but I hope that all those that have supported us to continue giving your blessings. Jiyeon is the one whom I have been waiting a long time for. I strongly believe that this is fated and destined to be.” Lastly, he said, “I will do my best, hope everyone believes in me. P.S. I wish for everyone’s blessings.”

Lee Dong Gun and Jiyeon both said on 4th July that they were getting along well and got close during the filming. They got into a relationship just recently.
