  1. I consider this to be a rather awful decision at best. T-ara's image is still not exactly great amongst the Korean public even now and all things considered, it doesn't help that groups like T-Jinyo are still around. Who in their right mind would want to have T-ara release a new song merely weeks after going through perhaps one of the biggest idol scandals to ever occur in Kpop? No, the best course of action is that they need to lay low until the public as a whole eases down rather than have such an early comeback. Are they willing to face black oceans, more waves of public scrutiny and even possibly physical attacks from antis?
  2. Considering T-ara has a whole bunch of staff personnel following them around, you can imagine how much they're overworked as well - not to mention their pay is a lot smaller =/
  3. Damn, it seems like T-ara as a whole has a serious load of karma >____> First, they have a crazy ass as their CEO, Eunjung's leg injury during the LD promotions, Jiyeon unable to have her first vacation due to DH2 filming then 2 unwelcome member additions, severely overworked as usual, Boram getting acute gastritis, Jiyeon injuring her nose, Soyeon having a sore throat at DBD comeback, then Hwayoung leaving the group as well as the entire issue surrounding it, their image tarnished as a whole in Kpop and now this - that's a lot of crap happening since the beginning of 2012. What else could happen in the near future? I'm no superstitous believer but I think it's safe to say T-ara has the biggest streak of bad luck out of all the major popular groups in Kpop out there :/ On the other hand, I don't see any mentioning of the other people in the accident getting hurt - are they possibly more unlucky?
  4. Someone should beef up security at the press conference, just in case. You never know what sort of wild and crazy stuff is going to be directed at Hyomin given the sensitivity of the situation. On the other hand...another Gumiho? -_____- " T-ara stopped all schedules and appearances" Yet, three of the members are out for drama shoots - how does that not get counted into their 'schedules and appearances'? I find this a bit laughable.
  5. Wonder when this song will be released because quite frankly, releasing it any time soon is automatically going to result in some unnecessary attention from a certain group of people. Even if they were spreading Malware, it would be pretty ridiculous to see them do it in their own site when it'd much make more sense to place it any T-ara related site such as here, the K-fancafes or even CCM's own servers. That is assuming they have crackers within their ranks.
  6. Well, at least Jiae was smart to leave that hellhole and monster known as CCM and KKS before being subject to all those brutal schedules
  7. All the more reason why I believe communicating extensively with the ex-Queens, antis and netizens (or T-jinyo) in general is absolutely critical in turning their flaming on T-ara to KKS instead. It's clearly obvious who's more at fault for the entire mess from the beginning - and frankly, I think fans had been too lax on him, especially considering his actions that had hurt the group immensely over time and time again. Hell, MBC's staff managed to pressure their own CEO to step down while Cassies and ELFs managed to put make SM think twice about possible member lineup changes in regards to DBSK and Suju.
  8. I think both sides are really taking their own beliefs a bit far too the extreme here - and from this, I mean the fans vs antis/netizens. I've already seen fans here getting far too comfy with the debunking of the gifs and photos used by antis and netizens to defame T-ara, even as going as far to outright claim no form of bullying ever occurred - problem is, that a lot of that stuff is from stuff filmed in front of the camera - idols are expected to act fake in front of the camera and 90% of the time, you can't really believe everything what they say and do reveals their true selves. The 'evidence' used to debunk the stuff from the antis and netizens merely counters what the latter had used - it's as simple as that. It doesn't fully erase the strong possibility bullying and conflict occurred within the group behind the scenes. Not even a bit, for me anyways. As for the antis and netizens along with the media, they're aiming and firing their weapons at the wrong people. If anything, rather than going lengths to bash T-ara, they ought to be going up against CCM and KKS instead, who are the real nutcases responsible for everything - even as early as 2010. Demanding T-ara to speak out is more or less not going to work for the time being and even so, they won't believe a word because the chances are that the girls would say scripted crap from You-Know-Who. Not from their own minds and hearts. This is why I believe more communication between Int'l fans and K-fans needs to be a big priority and from that point on, possibly even with T-Jinyo. Both sides have a common enemy here - and that's KKS himself. Hasn't anyone thought that by now, KKS has simply gone way too far with his antics? It's a whole new level of low. As much as I feel uneasy with having to deal with antis and netizens as a whole, I think it's worth a shot that talking out with them should be put into consideration here. This isn't the time for getting in a war against them because KKS FEEDS from that kind of crap.
  9. Not necessarily - but considering T-ara's still subject to a lot of discussion amongst the public as a whole, it wouldn't be a foolish move to have that particular episode knocked off either (and you can't deny that MBC wants to keep its ratings as well, regardless of who's going to make a fuss and who's not). Confirmed or not, it's best the girls take a hiatus for the time being. Why risk the strong possibility of black oceans in performances and even physical attacks from antis?
  10. While the bashing for pre-recording is quite unwarranted for, I think people here are getting a bit too comfortable with the possibility Hwayoung WASN'T bullied for sure and are defending them a bit too blindly. People, sh!t happens behind the scenes and while the 'evidence' that netizens and antis had gained has been debunked/countered for the most part, we can't really/actually fully deny the possibility some type of bullying may have occurred. I could easily say the evidence gained by fans that absolutely no form of bullying occurring is just as flimsy and circumstantial as much like what the netizens and antis had used - they're from variety shows - stuff in FRONT of the CAMERA. And idols are expected to act like fakes in front of the camera. This isn't the land of unicorns, fairies and the like. Kpop is a bloody cutthroat industry here and looking at CCM's past record, group conflict has been around for sure - SeeYa and 5dolls in particular. What makes T-ara such a special exception to this? Think about it. T-ara ain't saintly angels themselves either and honestly, people are back to treating them to such. That's why fanwars and conflict between fans and antis exist, ungratefully so. For those laughing down on T-Jinyo's efforts at current, stay off the high horse. While their recent activities/actions are laughable, keep in mind that the organization's only been around for a week or so. There's still a lot of uncertainty on what kind of stuff they can pull off. After all, Tajinyo's antics all lasted over a period of several MONTHs. Stay steady and observant, people. T-Jinyo is far from over.
  11. Last time I checked, Miss A and f(x) certainly were nowhere near close to T-ara's popularity this year, despite f(x)'s surge of popularity from Electric Shock - which can only be attributed from the fact that their comeback was long anticipated since they'd been inactive from the music scene since last summer. F(x) doesn't even have its own official fanclub yet and as said before, Miss A is heavily reliant on Suzy only to keep them relevant - actually, Miss A's situation is even similar to 4minute - one member gets everything, the rest get nothin' and are easily forgotten. And T-ara? Little promotions? What the hell are you smoking? Dramas, variety shows, more comebacks than any other group this year along, tight schedules and long hours of practice up to the point they probably have the shortest hours of sleep/rest of all Kpop groups there - and you call it 'little' promotions? Sorry but that is just a complete insult to the work they've done with blood, tears and sweat. You've got a lot of guts to say they promote very little because it's the complete opposite of that. And no, SISTAR is not reliant solely on talent, bud. They too had been promoting quite a bit this year - nowhere near T-ara's level, but enough to get them more known out there while even having the potential to take over T-ara's popularity at the same time. Face it, pal - T-ara's way of success has put an excessive cost on their mental and physical health more than any other majorly popular idol group - and there's enough information to read about that. CCM's making them work like slaves and judging from your words, I'd even go as far to say that you're ACCEPTING that kind of inexcusable system of management.
  12. Just because they're from a label under the Big 3 doesn't mean they'll be always guaranteed absolute success and popularity. You do realize that groups like f(x), despite being under the big dog of Kpop known as SM, did stall in popularity and that T-ara overpassed them in 2011, no? And what about Miss A? Yup, strong debut and immense popularity during 2010 but again, they stalled too and now rely heavily on Suzy to keep them relevant but even then, Suzy's popularity is only just big hype, much like Yoona's some years ago - and they're under JYP, another company under the Big 3. Hell, SISTAR's agency isn't even anywhere close to the size of even CCM, yet SISTAR's managed to nearly match and rival T-ara's popularity in recent months while having what is seen as a much lower workload compared with T-ara. And at this point, they'll probably even surpass T-ara given the ugly storm that erupted in recent times. You seem to be thinking 'success' means moving up higher in the popularity chain here. And quite frankly, success doesn't always mean popularity. That's like saying every small company is going to be a failure and that every big company is a guaranteed success.
  13. I'm sorry but to say KKS's actions in the past few days were to 'protect' T-ara is just absolute fallacy. If anything, it was T-ara themselves that got the majority of the bashing instead, especially with his idiotic statements and he was more concerned with saving his own image. And you say he's the only one who put his energy into T-ara's success? What about the support staff then? Hm? The managers, stylists, cameramen, drivers and everyone else had it much harder, especially since their wages are smaller by a considerable margin. Do also note that T-ara had it far more harder than other idol groups out there to get to where they are - mentally AND physically. And who's to blame? None other than KKS and his ridiculous system. Working your own employees to the point of extreme fatigue and injuries while still piling more work on them is nothing but slavery. 2NE1 didn't even promote half as much as T-ara did, yet they're considered the only major rival to SNSD in terms of popularity. That goes to show that KKS's management is merely nothing more than a Battle Royale style - an unhealthy, extremely competitive and cutthroat environment that possibly not even currently popular groups may have lasted very long under without going through some serious crap.
  14. While I do believe netizens and antis/haters have blown things out of proportion, KKS didn't say only vague explanations - no, he's made statements that completely contradict one another up to the point that he looked like a complete idiot who took the whole thing as a sick joke. That is why nothing he says can be considered credible, regardless if the person reading or listening is an anti, fan or just your average Joe. To generalize T-Jinyo (if that's whom you're referring to) under one umbrella of haters is also pretty far-fetched. Are you saying that over 300k people are hellbent antis? Fine, I might as well say every man, woman and child that fought for Germany in WW2 is a genocidal, racist, bigoted and gungho scumbag or that every religious person is susceptible to committing fanaticism and terrorism. Ehhh, I'd beg to differ to some degree lol - some people's comments here seem to already think he's pretty sincere with what he's just pulled off. After all, Kpop as a whole is mostly composed of teenagers, whose judgement and rationality isn't exactly top notch (no offense to those who're at this age), as you mentioned before haha. Optimistically speaking, yes, it would be great if KKS finally had some serious sense knocked into head but right now, it's still doubtful as you said. Money is his biggest priority, aside from that ridiculous pride of his after all (and what I suspect is young and beautiful women as well - he IS single after all....but that's something I try not to think about too deeply when T-ara comes into the picture). It'd be definitely worth a thousand books and albums to see him bow in his hands and knees in front of the members too XD. Hell, it'd make its own spot of history for the textbooks for Korea's modern culture hahaha. On the side note, it's also quite possible that CJ Group may have somehow discreetly 'persuaded' (may have threatened him with dismissal, demotion, transferring etc.) him to do this as well, since they've let him off the hook in similar cases in the past and that the magnitude of the situation is simply too immense. It would make sense they got involved quietly since a chaebol getting involved brings more attention from others.
  15. As much as I'm surprised to hear about this, I can't help but think this could be another possible publicity stunt to some form of degree, regardless if he's learnt from this or not. This is KKS we're talking about after all - and he certainly did not pull off any sort of apology to anyone when Nam Gyuri and 5dolls' Soomi followed a similar fate as Hwayoung did. What makes T-ara such a spectacular exception in regards to him apologizing? He's clearly lopped the top off others previously. He may as well be trying to regain whatever credibility he had was lost, if the timing is considered. Until he's going to treat the girls better, start putting some serious reforms as WELL as listening to whatever complaints and demands the group has to their labor rights and the like, I'm not fully buying this at all. There needs to be more than just a simple public apology. No, he needs to apologize to everyone. Not just the public, but T-ara as well for being the deep and sole root of this entire debacle. He has much more to compensate for.
  16. This I fully agree with. Couldn't have said it better myself.
  17. The ads...well, since they currently don't have the resources nor funding to really pull that off and would need to rely on broadcasting stations for that to happen and make it somewhat of a success. They are planning to do interviews with all major broadcasting company out there so ads probably aren't in the game for a short-term run. As you mentioned, they're still not in their most reasonable state(it's only been several days since the whole issue exploded) but they are bound to pull off something more calmer if given time. That I'm confident about. As for the K-government....honestly, coming from a Korean's perspective here, a couple of officials chiming in isn't really much of a deal. Besides, the K-government isn't really seen in a positive light itself and with the presidential elections taking place in 4 months time, I wouldn't really count on them do pull off something noteworthy anytime soon - it's only stuff like Open World Ent. (where extremely malicious crimes are committed) when they really start taking things into discussion and last time I heard, they were still in the process of that. Agreed that T-Jinyo could be a bit more patient about demanding T-ara coming out on their own though (as the members aren't really in any situation to be out since they're likely being c0ckblocked by You-Know-Who). While the chance that T-ara's own words could be seen as bluff by T-Jinyo is quite certain, again - the latter themselves need time to think more rationally and logically about the matter. It would definitely help that they would shift their position towards KKS himself a lot more - that I fully agree with. Although the possibility is still there, since KKS obviously can't manage for sh!t and his PR skills are even worse than T-Jinyo - that is bound to bite him in the ass again and given how unforgiving K-netizens can be, the chances of using his previous statements against him can't be ruled out. For now, observing is the best choice while fully recovering from the damage taken and cooperate with the K-fans as well - from my viewpoint, communicating with the K-fans to also communicate with T-Jinyo is worth a shot, depending on how the latter's road pathes out as time flies. PS - I just read an article about the Japanese fans' reaction to the whole T-ara/Hwa issue at japandailypress and kpopstarz (dunno if the latter is credible, compared to AKP) and it seems like they too didn't take the news very well either.
  18. Haha, it's understandable. They did say they're planning to also gather interviews with the broadcasts (that's when anti-bullying ads can finally be taken into consideration) and the like - plus, they've only been active since a few days ago it's not like they can pull off such a decisive move perfectly, yet alone plan one without things going a bit out of place as imagined. They are pretty much going around trying to recruit as much people as possible and as far as I see it, the Korean government wouldn't take much notice - or at least would be too slow to make a move, especially when they have more pressing issues at hand - namely the North Korean threat (as usual), the nation's economy, presidential elections etc. While T-Jinyo is pretty much led and headed by a 15 year old, well, we'd also have to take into consideration there's also very likely older people who do compose of the organization's subordinate leaders of the sort, much like any blog, cafe or forum out there. It's not like the 15 year old will call all the shots either. Agreed that they probably don't have T-ara's best interests in their goals but with a group composing of 300k+ people, it still begs some consideration. Given the timing and the organization's been only active for several days, I'd say that everyone should buckle up, stay calm and steady and observe how it goes without having to get a bit too crazy about it and jump into conclusions After all, Tajinyo pulled off its antics over a period of months, despite its notoriety. Things are still far from being a confirmable end for this one, regardless of the current situation. It's gonna be a long haul and for all sides, a battle of endurance and patience.
  19. Hwayoung would be out of her mind to even sign a new contract with another agency at this stage. Props to her for taking some well-needed and well-deserved R&R. While I never really liked her myself in particular, it's good to see she's getting a break from the hellish nightmare of the schedules and workload KKM forced upon her shoulders.
  20. True, they did lose some credibility on their part but then again, it's pretty obvious who else has lost far more credibility than them in the past few days - namely, KKS himself. Even if I was the leader of T-Jinyo, I would decline the offer myself too as not even a pile of rocks would be stupid enough to believe whatever he had to say - or at least discuss it further extensively with the others before taking the offer into consideration. We're not even entirely sure of who're the head honchos of T-Jinyo either - and of course it's a bit far fetched to generalize them as antis (as some people seem to make them out to be) as well and for all we know, there's likely to be a lot of both ex-fans and current fans amongst their ranks. 200k+ is a massive number so there's going to be people from all sides taking part for sure. But to see them pull off a protest does show that they do seem organized to an extent (hell, they did get permission from the police after all) and it wouldn't really surprise me if more people flocked in to join as time passes by. It also seems like they deliberately cancelled the protest due to the building being near a residential area (of course, this would raise a lot of craziness) and they're definitely not happy with only 30 people being allowed to take part. Call me crazy but I think it's actually worth a shot communicating with T-Jinyo as well. While their stance on T-ara is dubious at best, they clearly are against KKM for sure and it does sort of give a common enemy to be active against. Like any cafe or blog, even if it was founded/hosted by a kid, there's always going to be a group of others that also take subordinate leadership roles as well, much like how Diadem has its own group of moderators, admins and the like.
  21. I saw this one coming. Even if they didn't turn down his offer, there's no way KKs himself would have ever bothered to speak the truth to them from the first place anyway, seeing as how lying and making contradictary statements is something he does all the time. All they would have most likely gotten was just more BS or 'facts' that were spinned around - and KKS sure as hell as proven that he's not letting anyone aside from his idiocy do the talking. It's not exactly the same as Tablo's case either - where it was Tablo himself who spoke out the truth out in public, not his boss. Either way, whether if they accepted the offer or not, it wouldn't have made too much of a difference.
  22. It's not T-Jinyo that's demanding the disbandment of T-ara (or not the only ones anyway). That goes to the folks who signed the petition to have the group disbanded (who may or may NOT be members of T-Jinyo). They're two separate groups. Demanding the truth of the story and calling for disbandment are two wholly different things and might as well be similar to comparing apples and oranges.
  23. Well, you can't really blame them for demanding the truth - which can't be really argued up with since lot of fans also would like to hear the truth from T-ara as well. The problem is that their hatred is more directed towards T-ara than the real troublemaker - KKS.
  24. Going up against the media like this isn't really what I call a wise move. It's as if KKM hasn't learnt anything in the past few days on how extreme and dangerous the K-press and K-media can be - and no doubt, it even makes AKP look like saints to a degree. Fighting fire with oil again. This is some pretty serious brew being stirred up.
  25. I don't know. This gives me a feeling that it could backfire again. While T-Jinyo's ranks do have a considerable number of antis, their goal - that is, demanding the truth - does sort of go in line with what some people here demand as well. Problem is, does anyone think KKS is going to spill the beans to their representatives? He's already lied a gazillion times here and there and he's going to do it again and again so long as he's seated. I don't give any applauds for this. KKS isn't on anyone's side, whether it be the public, T-ara or the fans. The past few days have clearly shown that he only wants to save himself. If the T-Jinyo people believe that they're not given enough answers, they'll possibly rile up things again if needed. Considering they've already gotten permission from the police to protest legally, well...boom. This is far from over.
