  1. I'm assuming that is a hostile response. If you even bothered to read up on anything about on Jin Se Yeon, you do realize that she and Eunjung aren't strangers, no? Both of them starred in the same movie (White) last year after all and it's easy to assume she accepted the role for reasons other than advancing her own career. And why I sympathize is because filming 2 dramas simultaneously is a energy-draining matter, regardless if she's aware of this or not. Then again, you could say Eunjung's 'toughness' probably served as a motivation for Jin Se Yeon to take up another role so soon, despite the toll it can take on her physically.
  2. I think there's some misunderstanding here - Jin Se Yeon did after all, star in the same movie as Eunjung did (White, back in 2011) so it is possible she felt oblidged to take over Eunjung's role perhaps? Jin Se Yeon is no stranger to Eunjung. Besides, Jin se Yeon is in the middle of filming for Gaksital/Bridal Mask already and juggling 2 dramas isn't something anyone can do so easily or without making so much thought about it.
  3. Well...on the plus side, at least she gets some time to rest and refit - which is something the fandom as a whole had always wanted for the members. Although I'd also have to sympathize for Jin Se Yeon having to film 2 dramas at once for several weeks, since Bridal Mask is still two weeks away from being finished.
  4. Broadcasting and media companies are supposed to appeal to the masses, hence why they take public opinion and ratings seriously - because that's how they keep afloat. It's not their job to be concerned for Eunjung.
  5. @Mongrolian - couldn't have said it better myself. That's democracy. The majority have a say and have the power to execute it. I'd think that the broadcasting stations were already scared enough with having Hyomin and Soyeon in dramas to begin with and took quite a gamble with it - add in Eunjung and Jiyeon as well, then they're taking an even bigger gamble due to the situation that occurred some weeks ago and public opinion. It seems like what they're doing is playing safe. Not like they booted Eunjung out because she's a notorious vile soul or somethin'.
  6. Asking for a police conviction alone is ridiculous from the start since there's no actual law being broken here and labor rights in Korea are ridiculously laughable for such a developed country. Just because one isn't breaking the law doesn't mean he/she is a douchebag. And even so, you're demand for the police to look into the bullying issue is also fallacy as the only time the police are ever involved is if potential murder or suicide is in the mix - which certainly isn't the case of T-ara. Read up on anything about Kpop's darker sides and it's pretty darn clear that idols in general are worked like slaves and Soyeon already confirmed that the group is pretty much worked to the bone and want to go on vacation - and all they get is one week and in that midst, KKS outright calls them 'lazy'. And since then, they've been very silent about their own rights despite promoting on a level that's even far more than other idol groups out there. Determination aside, there's absolutely no sense or logic for the members to have the motive to perform despite being injured and overworked terribly - the only credibly guess why they're still doing so is because they're doing it out of fear of repercussion - hence, the term 'a gun pointed behind their heads'. If you even bother to look into how SeeYa's Nam Gyuri fared, she didn't call KKS a devil for nothing. Specific number? The Korean community here is 30k+ in New Zealand and I may as well say I lost count. Lot of people talked about it and they've been pretty open about their opinion regarding T-ara. Disliking and disapproving of a group and being an 'anti' of it are two different levels. You seem to be generalizing them under one umbrella. Ugh;; it's pointless even arguing with you here. That is all. End of story.
  7. They ARE called 'idols' for a reason you know - considering they're supposed to take part in multiple fields of entertainment, the media and the public in general eventually grow to have the preference of seeing them as 'angels' or 'saints'. In a way, they're supposed to be 'role models' for young people out there. There's also the fact that idols are even trained to act fake in front of the camera by the agencies in particular - which goes to say, ultimately, its the agencies that are to hold much of the blame - the public just eats the stuff they're fed mindlessly. You'd also have to consider that the Korean public had been bombed with media reports of bullying earlier in the year - cases which resulted in suicide amongst middle school students in particular and bullying as a whole is quite a huge social issue there (though I can say the same for anywhere else, I do know that bullying in Korea is quite severe since I've witnessed and experienced it myself when I was there). The very last thing the public would want to hear about bullying after hearing so many severe cases of it in a year is idol groups going through the same thing. Group activities aside, the timing of the incident was just absolutely terrible due to that alone.
  8. I'm assuming that was a jabby or hostile response since it's pretty clear that you're a huge Hwayoung fan. Going as far to accuse me of 'deliberately' leaving that out is just stretching it. I'll concede that Hwayoung wasn't exactly a member I could give much of a concern about though but it wasn't of any intention to leave her leg injury out (nor was this even reported in the press prior to the whole scandal blowing out). And no, it's not just antis who want their heads lopped off the top. Of all the people I know (Koreans, that is), most if not all have a highly negative opinion of T-ara as of now and would prefer seeing them disband but I certainly wouldn't label them as 'antis' hellbent on destroying the group.
  9. I could easily counter that Eunjung performing in LD despite her injury is partly due to that she's fearful of repercussions of taking any sort of medical leave, considering the fact that KKS's definition of 'lazy' is pretty screwed up to the core and he has openly threatened the members in public, not to mention he's pretty much hellbent on making them compete with one another. Determination isn't the only thing that's pushing them - it's FEAR. We're talking about a group of women who have a gun pointed at the back of their heads and if they do even the slightest thing to piss the gunner off, then it's goodbye forever.
  10. Quite an extensive list of the duds happening to T-ara all year. They actually seem extremely unlucky and I'd go as far to say they're the most unlucky group at current. 1. Eunjung's leg injury during LD promotions 2. Jiyeon is unable to take her first ever vacation since debut due to DH2 filming 3. Soyeon apparently has a bit of a leg injury herself and ends up performing on crutches. 4. KKS openly threatens them in public 5. 2 unnecessary members are added 6. Boram is caught up with acute gastritis 7. The Twitter issue results in the greatest idol scandal and chaos of 2012 8. Hwayoung's contract is terminated and gets kicked out. 9. Soyeon gets in a major car accident (supposedly anyway) 10. Eunjung gets the boot from the drama she's supposed to be in. Am I missing anything so far? It almost as seems like fate wants them to collapse (whether if it's targeted towards CCM or T-ara itself however, is a matter of debate). Creepy O.o
  11. Hm, Jin Sae Yeon is actually quite a decent actress (I think she does really well in Bridal Mask) and I'd even go as far to say she's above Eunjung's level by far. But Bridal Mask is still some weeks away from finishing so it just doesn't seem plausible for her to film 2 dramas at once. By the way, it shouldn't come as a surprise Queen's is falling behind since their numbers were generally low to begin with in comparison to other fandoms, not to mention it got drastically reduced further thanks to the fiasco that broke out some weeks ago.
  12. Just because she's the most mentally stable in T-ara doesn't mean she's invincible to whatever crap can happen to her and the group as a whole. Eunjung, yet alone T-ara as a whole (save for Jiyeon in regards to the late 2010 incident) had never gone through something like this before and to assume that emotional distress didn't play a role in her sudden withdrawal from the drama cast is just idiocy. Her mom pretty much confirmed (or at least heavily suggested or implied) that Eunjung's having it incredibly rough and has even lost weight in recent times.
  13. Jesus Christ, fellas, enough of the rage here. What would YOU do if you were in the shoes of SBS or the PD of this drama? Hm? Eunjung and the rest of T-ara had gone through a massive scandal - mind you, perhaps the biggest scandal of 2012 and probably of all female idol groups and it's not SBS's job to care for whatever they think. What right or say does a broadcasting company have in regards to T-ara's internal affairs? SBS is a goddamn broadcasting company appealing to the masses' entertainment, not a bunch of humanitarian workers. To say you're going to boycott all their shows over something as this is just irrational idiocy at best and it's not like KBS and MBC are any better, considering both companies underwent two massive strikes over legitimate reasons. I say again - It's not SBS's job to be concerned about T-ara. That's CCM's job, which regardless to say is doing a pathetic job at it and is better off being run down by a whole company of tanks and bulldozers. To say there's no actress capable of matching Eunjung's level is also sheer idiocy as well - Korea has a plentiful pool of actresses around, some who are worse, some who are better. For that person who's thought that Korean society is the same as how it's portrayed in dramas and TV programs - I won't even get started. Regardless of Soyeon and Hyomin, it's simply unsuitable for all of T-ara to work at current circumstances - Eunjung can use this time to reflect, rest and refit both mentally and physically. If you people can't be patient with not seeing your favorite idols appearing on screen in TV, smartphone, tablet or computer, then by all means, that's just downright immature of you.
  14. I'd have to say it was a wise move for Eunjung, considering T-ara's rather negative image - plus it will give her the time to rest and refit - both mentally and physically (provided CCM is even humane enough to allow that but even that's doubtful to a degree). Filming for a drama when recovering from a hell of a scandal is a spiky move (how Soyeon and Hyomin handle this, I don't know). SBS and KBS are broadcasting stations and it's not their job to be concerned about T-ara's scandal issue. From their standpoint, it would be terribly stupid of them to have a drama with a member of an idol group being part of the main cast when the group itself has gotten under a lot of flak and public outrage. They don't want their ratings damaged and they it's already a bit of a worry for them to have Hyomin and Soyeon in dramas right now.
  15. This may be a blessing in disguise I suppose? At least Eunjung has one less pile of work to be concerned about ^__^ Filming for variety and a drama at the same time isn't exactly a wise choice, plus given the recent turn of events, I think it does give Eunjung a little bit of space to breathe. The MBC strike was pretty big - and it's not the first time either. MBC employees went on strike last year as well but it didn't really quite go the way they planned. And so, they hitched up another one earlier this year - and resulted in their CEO stepping down (which I think was the strike's goal since MBC was promoting only pro-government news at the time and the current govt. certainly isn't very popular). Of course, it did result in a bit of a messup with broadcasting schedules.
  16. Huh, I thought the ROK Army replaced those uniforms completely with the new digital (and cooler) camo uniforms already...ah well, having an army of 600k+, I guess that kinda stuff takes time. But anyways, guess it's good to see Boram getting out there more (if anything, she stood out a bit than usual) although Soyeon seemed a bit breathless for some reason >__>
  17. I wouldn't count the patient's account as anything credible myself either but it seems like that there's some really contradictary statements from CCM regarding the matter. When the first news broke out, they did say that Soyeon had no major injuries at first - but it wasn't until later when Soyeon DID turn out to have serious injuries, considering that she claimed to have back and neck pain right from the start, as you have said. Honestly, I think fans overall should really start putting more doubt on CCM's statements in anything. Seeing how CCM handled the Hwayoung issue some weeks before, they've pretty much lost every single ounce of credibility from whatever is vomited from their mouths (not that they had much credibility to begin with). While netizens may be a crazy bunch, they are known for even bringing down other public figures (whether it be good or bad people), other than celebrities. In other words, a double bladed weapon.
  18. I don't want to run across as some delusional idiot or believing in some crazy stuff from netizens but it looks like people are beginning to think the whole car accident is a publicity stunt, much like the one where Eunjung lost all that money back in Europe. Here's a link I found on tumblr. Not saying it's true or taking sides, but I think it does raise some good points. This is CCM, after all, known for making crazy stories countless times. http://protect-hwayoung.tumblr.com/post/29473205556/t-aras-seoyeon-car-accident-a-lie
  19. KKS has made it pretty damn clear that he doesn't care about any of the members except the money they bring in and that even a medical leave counts as being 'lazy' >___> For all we know, Soyeon is probably pressured to leave the hospital as soon as possible out of fear that she'd be punished for being 'lazy'. Which is why I believe both the I-fans, K-fans, J-fans and pretty much everyone should take a much more bolder stance against him. On the side note, what disgusts me even just as more than the bumbling imbeciles in AKP is that some certain people in Youtube, claiming to be T-ara's fans, actually think KKS and CCM aren't a bunch of incompetent whacktards >____> It's like they've chosen to be completely ignorant of the members' health and awful working conditions and one in particular I recall, even implied it shouldn't matter because they make so much money (when in reality, most of the money from group activities goes to CCM instead >__>) How they even call themselves fans is beyond me.
  20. Performing ASAP is outright ridiculous. I can't say for their music but do you actually think it's a good idea for them to perform while having solo activities of their own and still trying to recover from the damage that occurred thanks to antis, netizens, the media and KKS? I sure as hell wouldn't want them to risk facing black oceans when performing, yet alone shut them up. If anything, they should take a break from group activities for the time being and rest as much as possible.
  21. Considering that KKS (or CCM as a whole) is awfully incapable of making much sense in their statements, it's only natural that reporters would instead flock to the T-ara members themselves for more accurate information, aside from profit and getting headlines in the front page. Although, they could've been more decent about it >___> The guys clearly said that no questions unrelated to the scandal are allowed, yet a couple of peeps who can't contain their own curiousity just had to make things look rather gloomy, eh? Christ, Eunjung DOES look like she's lost some weight, as her mother mentioned earlier in a separate interview. Or maybe it's just the hair? (on the side note, this is actually the first time I compliment her looks - that hairstyle suits her very well. I think she should keep it )
  22. Well, at least the doctors and nurses managed to keep her down in check (and probably threw a tantrum at CCM as well, hopefully, since KKS's definition of 'lazy' is simply just disgusting). She needs to recover to the fullest. No exceptions. Filming in such a condition is like going to a battlefield while still having a bullet stuck in a limb.
  23. I am highly opposed to this - at this pace, this is more or less a repitition of what occurred to Soyeon way back in March (remember performing in crutches anyone?) and even earlier than that, Eunjung's leg injury where she still performed LD and other activities as well as Jiyeon still performing RP despite her knee incident. I may as well actually say CCM forced her out of hospital otherwise she'd face some serious punishment for being 'lazy'. We all know what KKS's silly definition of 'lazy' is. If anyone takes into account what Soyeon said in her recent interview, it is very well possible CCM took this as a jab towards themselves, much like what Soyeon did during the LD promotion when she admitted in TV that T-ara hadn't a single vacation since debut. At such a condition, there's just absolutely no way anyone would want to go back out to the field, regardless of determination. Hell, not even a soldier would be crazy enough to be like this.
  24. Assuming this was directed at me since I said the word 'karma', I'll give my answer. Arguably, yes, I would say the 'universe' is punishing T-ara for their past (or current) mistakes - or if you look at it in a wider picture, punishing CCM for its past and current mistakes with T-ara as part of the collateral damage, since the latter is CCM's only real form of revenue. I don't believe in spiritual or superstitous stuff but it's pretty clear that this year is arguably perhaps T-ara's worst year overall - and whatever crap they or CCM did is coming to bite them in the ass. Soyeon even mentioned in her recent interview that the relationship between the members isn't exactly perfect and that the Tweets to Hwayoung were definitely unwarranted for - which does speculate or imply that the atmosphere within is not so nice, which is a given due to the inhospitable environment they're in. T-ara ain't angels and saints, regardless of how hard they've worked to get where they are. And you've got a lot of guts to accuse me of being an anti of T-ara, mate. While I may be a pessimistic asshat and had my ups and downs with the fandom as well as making fun of the members often, that doesn't mean I'm an 'anti'. Hell, I sure as hell didn't turn my back on them when the craziness of the scandal erupted, unlike many others who did and became antis themselves. Being a fan doesn't mean I have to be optimistic, happy, cheerful and smiley 24/7 for them, if that's what you're trying to say.
  25. So the other report wasn't so right that Soyeon didn't receive any 'serious injuries' -_______- What a joke. Seriously, I don't even know what to say. Could more karma strike T-ara in any worse fashion than this? I sincerely hope she doesn't take it as much worse as some other unfortunate idols did in the past (such as SuJu's massive one years back). I swear, this comeback of theirs needs to be halted further away IMMEDIATELY. No exceptions. There is absolutely no room for someone hurt like this to perform in any circumstance, much less when the group itself is still under public scrutiny. If CCM makes her work again so soon, then by all means, I think the fandom should take a far more bolder stance. Let's face it people, 2012 is definitely a terrible year for them and the remainder of it likely will continue to be so.
