  1. *Facepalm* Great, now Eun Jung's schedule is gonna increase again. #$@$%@#!!$#%^
  2. Even if her role is to translate for T-ara and act as a way of communication to the int. fans, her age alone shows that her vocabulary would be mostly limited and if foreign journalists or papers interview her, she's gonna have some difficulty answering some questions correctly. Plus, add in the fact that the majority of fans don't like her for obvious reasons, Besides, it's not as if Kpop is a massive worldwide phenomenom so the use of English isn't really considered a massive need - take a look at SNSD for example, Tiffany and Jessica are the two English speakers of the group, yet their vocab is mostly limited to the age of a middle schooler at the best and they rarely ever have the serious need to use it during promotions. Which also goes to say, since Dani's obviously had little to no real life in Korea, parents living in the US and hasn't been training for very long, it makes her more vulnerable to severe exploitation from KKS himself - which can potentially lead to severe abuse (Open World Ent. comes into mind).
  3. I'd rather see them pull off a DBSK-like event rather than continuously see them get effed over by that retarded monkey who is a pathtic excuse of a CEO. At least they'd have a chance of living like normal human beings.
  4. I'm no Malaysian nor do I live in Malaysia but here's an idea to suggest - how about the M-Queen's start gathering up some money to donate to Boram as a special support gift? Maybe buy her some extra goodies and all? Maybe hand it out at the concert to the T-ara members themselves? Let'em know that we're all pissed at CCM too. Given her current health condition, I think y'all should prep something for her specially since her membership is really hanging on a thread right now, especially since the possibility of KKS/CCM planning to get her kicked out has gotten a lot bigger. And if those two new members come about to, like kenzo said, prep some eggs and other fruit and veges
  5. Goodness, Hyomin vaguely reminded me of an older Goo Hara in these pics O.o
  6. Boram and So Yeon look great. But Hyomin....is it me or does she look like she's aged a lot? O.o
  7. Now, if only we can actually see Boram rap more often, she wouldn't have to worry about the line distribution....but then again, that would make it 4 rappers in a group of 7....which is....abnormal. I digress.
  8. I really don't see how supporting her is possible when you don't agree with CCM (NOT T-ara since they probably don't have any real say about the matter otherwise they'll get the sack) adding new members. This is how CCM (or KKS) feeds off from fans - he wins against us fans by pulling off such things like that. Just months ago when the news was first announced, pretty much everyone here went ballistic about it and now we're seeing people that actually accept her as a member already. They know that T-ara's fandom is not as big as say, SNSD or 2NE1 - which even SM and YG can't ignore all fully. Considering the timing that the official fandom opening ceremony kicks up at roughly the same time as the 8th member's debut and the release of the 2nd album...it can't be just a coincidence. It actually seems like CCM considered the member addition some time before even announcing it.
  9. Er, Dani doesn't decide when she wants to debut or not. CCM (or KKS) does that. It's only natural CCM would delay her debut by Dec because if she joined now with that cursed 8th member, the backlash from everyone else will be even bigger than it already is.
  10. I may sound harsh saying this but the girls look like they didn't put a very big effort at all. They look awfully laxed on their dancing for IDCBOY and I couldn't even hear their voices properly. IRH was significantly better but then again, the choreography isn't as intense. I could hear some of their voices at the least. *Sigh* CCM, what is even the point of this concert? I doubt it was simply for the Thai fans to scream and enjoy. They should be gathering as much rest as they can for the tour in Japan. Not being worked like slaves. It's surprising none of them had yet to visit the hospital as of yet.
  11. O.o Really now, is there any jacket/hoodie/or whatever that suits wearing with those shirts?
  12. Strange....why isn't So Yeon around....? This is raising a few suspicions....
  13. Except that it's impossible for CCM to refuse that kind of money - ever. They did the same ploy with T-ara and GangKiz so it's rather laughable at best and downright stupid at worst. You don't need six long months to learn, practice and memorize the choreography of T-ara's biggest hit tracks (BPBP, Roly Poly and Lovey Dovey) and it's not like she'll be performing in T-ara's solo concert in August either or be the main dancer of the group. Assuming she trains for 4-6 hours every day, she could probably memorize it all within a month or two at the latest. Add in the choreography for whatever T-ara's promoting later this year, again, only a month or two needed if you consider the hours trainees go through in Kpop. CCM's lying about the whole thing. It's as simple as that.
  14. Possibly this is the very last big major Kpop concert they'll have as a seven-member group so I'd guess they decided to have as much fun as possible before the big hammer is dropped on their heads. Sort of reminds me of the final seconds of the Lovey Dovey Japanese version. MV (despite how terribly cheap the MV itself looked).
  15. Don't tell me you actually believe CCM's words like this *facepalm*.... And you don't need 6 months to learn T-ara's choreography unless CCM's already planned to do a comeback later at October in earliest (and even that's doubtful since they'd be more concerned with T-ara's second album coming up this summer along with the tour in Japan just weeks away).
  16. You have a point there about her supposed English - the same can also be applied to SNSD's Jessica as well and to a lesser degree, Tiffany. If Dani went to an international English-speaking school in Korea, then it would raise the possibility that her family is probably pretty well-off financially since int. schools in Korea aren't exactly for everyone to attend as the school fees are expensive, at least to my knowledge (girl I knew back when I was 14 went to an int. school in Korea as well and her family was upper-class). Alternatively, she could have enrolled to a typical average school as a special (foreign, exchange or whatever it is) student but then again, considering her age...it's doubtful. But that would also mean the number of years she spent in the US would be even lower.
  17. Man, I really wish I could go back to Korea ASAP and order the good'ol chicken delivered in front of the doorstep again. Nothing better than having chicken and a big mug of beer with friends or relatives at a late night. Brings back great memories. M~mmmm~ good times.
  18. Haha, thanks for the understanding there and I hope it clears out any misunderstandings it may have led to. Due to following around Kpop since tweenhood, it's quite easy to see how much Kpop as an industry has changed and all over the past half-decade or so. Plus the majority of Kpop fans (both Korean and international) are in their teens - where arguably (at the least), level-headed behavior isn't exactly the norm in Kpop while ignorance prevails. Regarding AKF, I had the same initial thoughts as you as well though it's pretty undeniable that there are articles that do point out some degree of truth and big points regarding the behavior of fandoms as well as Kpop in general. The anon option was probably the most biggest drawback regarding the comments there, that I am inclined to agree. Regarding the fandom splitting, I also agree. Prior to the news of the member lineup changes, yes, Diadem was quite happy for the most part and as you have said, together for one cause - that is, getting T-ara an actual break (that half-assed one they got doesn't count, personally). For me, being a real fan means that they're treated humanely (at least by Kpop standards, since T-ara's notoriously one of the most overworked groups out there), enjoy their work, stay healthy and not have to worry about a crooked boss whose decisions towards them are highly questionable and even moronic. T-ara's music had always been a hit-or-miss for my taste and for physical appearances, none of them go higher than 'above-average' in my opinion lol. The reasons to Dani's (inexcusable) addition to the group are still debatable, admittedly. Like you said, if it's likely to lower the average age of the group much like the previously failed attempt with Hwa Young (considering 5 members are in their early to mid 20s), it also reinforces the speculation/possibility that Boram, Qri and So Yeon will be given the short end of the stick. Not to mention KKS himself is a blacklist-happy man (KARA comes into mind while also slandering Nam Gyuri) who also threatened to kick out any of the current members if they did anything that goes against the member addition.
  19. None taken. I wouldn't go as far as to call them conspiracy theories but the possibility can't be rubbed out entirely, yet alone dismissed. I don't know what you would mean by badmouthing exactly regarding to Ji Yeon but for me AKFG is a site simply for laughs, jokes and the such - not something I do for seriously, if you get what I'm saying (more or less, half of what I say can't be even taken literally). Yes, I do have my criticisms for Ji Yeon and T-ara in general (and I don't say them here openly like a loudmouth since I'd be very likely getting a lot of flame from Ji Yeon's fans here hence why AKFG is where I go - but as said, it's all for laughs and jokes - I don't have a big petty hatred against her or anything). Though I don't recall saying she had to be kicked out - all I remember saying is that she's overrated, talent-wise. This was pretty much the same case with the Shoutbox - prior to getting banned anyway. I apologize if I may not seem like a real fan of the girls (would mind to ask what even defines a 'real fan') - I'm simply just pessimistic in general regarding Kpop and the news of it, having followed it about since 05/06. T-ara is certainly no exception to this. Regarding my 'extremism' against KKS - you may have a point. Disregarding T-ara, I can relate him to my old boss at work and a couple of the more grumpy (and infamous) teachers back in high school.
  20. I can't help but be pessimistic regarding the news though. I mean, all things considered, Boram and Qri hadn't got any real lines since the Cry Cry promotions (and arguably the Roly Poly promotions as well) and that's pretty much the same thing as saying "I don't need you" or "Leave now before I kick you out myself, b1tches" etc. You may have a point about T-ara lacking strong voices like the ones you mentioned above but I could say the same thing for virtually every other group out there. T-ara's an idol group, not a vocal powerhouse like Davichi, Gummy or SG Wannabe. There also goes the fact that T-ara's horribly overworked (or rather, slave-driven) so it's a no-brainer that some of their performances would sound and look lackluster and weak - some even claim that T-ara's live performances are among the weakest in Kpop. It takes time and dedicated training and practice to become a better singer and looking at CCM, it doesn't look like it's done any of that for the T-ara members. And it's not like as if a 14yr-old is bound to be an exceptionally gifted singer to begin with - sure, maybe KKS found a Park Jimin-like vocalist but that's awfully unlikely - if so, it would waste the girl's talent and potential, that's for sure (much like Cube's G.Na). Just look at how many of T-ara's promoted tracks are practically autotuned as hell - BPBP, IGCBOY, LTFT, Roly Poly, YaYaYa, Lovey Dovey etc.
  21. Correction, Seohyun debuted at the age of 16. 2NE1 may be an exception but in the case of SNSD, do note that the age gap between the members isn't very wide itself - 6 of the members alone are all 89'ers, Seohyun only 2 years below while Soo Young and Yoona are 90'ers. If KKS's claims that the new members are 'talented' is correct, this can be seen as a jab towards the current older members to leave on their own will - kicking them out for whatever reason will bring even more negative publicity regardless of the reason. Plus, we don't even know how the current members would react to this behind-the-scenes - considering they worked tooth-and-nail for 3 years to get to where they are now, it's doubtful they'd be easy on some newbie who's practically going to ride their popularity. Why fix something that's not broken? The only person who needs to be fixed is KKS himself along with whoever in CCM's management agrees with him. After School actually was actually fairly popular in its earlier days but all things considered, with the whole graduation concept and the influx of new members, they pretty much sank and Pledis Ent. doesn't look like it's doing much of a good job either (debuting multiple groups at a short period of time - arguably can be seen that AS hasn't brought them enough revenue to stay afloat in the long run). I wouldn't even go as far to compare 2NE1 and T-ara as they're entirely different groups in concept, member line-up etc. You might as well be comparing apples and oranges. Both are fruits, but wholly different in color, taste, shape etc.
  22. *Sigh* This is just wrong. No, it's more than just wrong. It's flat-out idiocy. What is this? After School? At this rate, the current oldest members are going to be pressured to leave on their own will. I guess it's bye-bye to Boram, Qri and even So Yeon in December or later.
  23. All things considered, Ji Yeon isn't fully matured compared to the other members (though some would say Boram is an exception) and what makes you think she'll be a capable leader? If anything, Qri has the bigger chance of being the next leader. This also goes to say that it's highly doubtful Ji Yeon would be able to boss around or keep in line the other members in case they fight with one another behind-the-scenes. She doesn't have the experience, the personality or even the charisma - and probably not even the guts to go up against the more 'stronger' members (So Yeon, being one particular case). I don't really see how Ji Yeon would not like being the maknae anymore either. If so, I can say the same for the maknaes of other idol groups out there and it's not like the other members are verbally or physically abusing her on a constant basis (if so, Ji Yeon would have long left ago to begin with).
  24. This may sound a little bit wee off topic but So Yeon looks like she's lost a bit of weight O.o
  25. I don't think having an English speaker in the groups is at all that necessary - there's already some groups out there whose English is simply laughable but are hugely popular throughout Asia more than T-ara - Super Junior and DBSK (at least before the breakup) come into mind, as well as 2NE1. SNSD only has 2 English speakers and their vocab is only at middle school level at best and it's not like their English isn't even widely used anyway to begin with. Now, if T-ara were to pull off making it to the US, that should automatically make KKS officially unfit to be a CEO. Not only is trying out the States a very risky decision by all means (even BoA and Se7en during their prime didn't do well, followed by WG as you pointed) but they'd have to ALL be able to speak English at least decently - even SNSD with Jessica and Tiffany can't pull that one off, at least for long. Language barrier says all, not to mention they'd have to put a ridiculous amount of effort and time on the music and rely a hell lot less on autotuning (Roly Poly, Lovey Dovey, IGCOY, Round and Round, BPBP etc).
