To be frank, I think the two members vocals (if they actually are that good) are a potential plan to likely pressure So Yeon to leave T-ara. She's obviously the one who first went up against KKS on TV during the Lovey Dovey promotions and he probably still has a lot of grudge against that. The guy needs to go to mental hospital. Period.

All things considered, if Dani didn't want the hate coming in for her, she could have goddamn refused to be put into T-ara. Why did she even comply? Personal greed got the better of her? Going by her age, she's only a year older than my younger brother. I suspect her age as well as the other member is even a possible ploy in pressuring Boram and Qri out of the group in an effort to lower the age average - something KKS intended with Hwa Young's addition back in 2010 (which obviously wasn't so successful back then). If KKS's claims that the new members' vocals are off the charts are correct, then this could also potentially pressure So Yeon to leave as well, not to mention So Yeon's only a year younger than the two oldest members - and for any So Yeon fan out there, we all know she was the one who actually went up against KKS on TV a couple months back during the Lovey Dovey promotions. This might as well be his way of punishing her to the fullest, unrightfully so. Also, I think we can even say that Ji Yeon's 'matured' in terms of image - this could mean Ji Yeon's outlived her days as being the youngest of the group in KKS's mind, unfortunately. Ji Yeon's also got the largest amount of fans out of all T-ara members and her popularity rivals that of Eun Jung easily - knock her out of her place as maknae of the group, and her fans would probably make a huge fit - as far as I've heard, Ji Yeon also has the largest number of stans of all of T-ara. I cannot even begin to imagine what Boram, Qri and So Yeon's personal reactions would be regarding the new member additions as well as the recent news update of it. At this rate, T-ara will end up becoming like After School. Suffice to say, KKS and CCM in general are deplorable. They should just stick with making duets and solo singers. Idols? Never. Just look how they effed up with 5dolls and Co-Ed. They were miraculously lucky with T-ara and for me, that luck looks like it'll run out sooner or later. The question is how much longer will the current members (especially the original 6) will tolerate KKS's abusive bullsh!t before the bomb explodes, as it had been ticking since March. SuJu's Hangeng ended up with a kidney disease and gastritis as a result of SM not giving him a single day of rest for two years straight - just imagine what T-ara could have, considering they worked without a day of rest for THREE years.

Oh goodness me, what is up with Hyomin and Hwa Young's eyes? O.o Hyomin looks like she's thinking the bottle is filled with poison or acid and Hwa Young looks like she saw a ghost behind the person who took the photo. Dang.

[12.05.23] T-ara's new members to be revealed on May 31st and June 7th
Scatter_88mil replied to nathaniel's topic in News
Only in your head they are the original 7. You seem to be denying facts here. To be frank, Hwa doesn't even contribute much to the group at all. Her 'rap' lines in Roly Poly are barely tolerable, she got nothing in Cry Cry and in Lovey Dovey, she got more lines at the cost of Eun Jung having little to nothing - and it's no argument that Eun Jung is one of T-ara's more better vocals. Actually, come to think of it, I'd even argue that from Hwa Young's addition and forward, Boram and Qri got awfully little lines and they actually had more pre-Hwa Young addition period. 6-ara is where it's at. T-ara didn't even debut at the time it was 5 members. From your logic, I should be saying SNSD should be called the original 11 and call So Yeon an original SNSD member, even though SNSD didn't even debut at the time. -
[12.05.23] T-ara's new members to be revealed on May 31st and June 7th
Scatter_88mil replied to nathaniel's topic in News
"The new member who will join in July is a 3rd year high school student with both beauty and musical talent. It's also known that the other member is a 3rd year junior high school student." At this rate, T-ara's going to end up being like After School by adding younger members. High school is bad enough but JUNIOR HIGH? What sort of atrocity is this? "T-ara said, "Please look forward to our new members and new songs." I call that a load of bull****. Not even T-ara's likely to look foward to the new member addition. "Depending on how things turn out, a different member than what is planned now may join instead." The only difference T-ara needs is either a CEO or agency change. Not the member lineup. Nuff said. "T-ara's other new member was revealed to have grown up in the United States since age four and will be introduced to fans through acting in T-ara's new music video." So what does that matter? Having English skills doesn't mean jack in Kpop unless they're going to be interviewed by huge amounts of foreigners from countries that have English as the norm language or planning a debut to the US - which is laughable, considering not even the Big 3 are likely to succeed there. I sure as hell didn't give a flying f**k when I read about Tiffany growing up in the US before joining SM. -

[12.05.23] T-ara coming back with eight members in early July
Scatter_88mil replied to nathaniel's topic in News
"T-ara wants to have a fresh start this summer. As already stated, they'll become nine members, but first they'll first become a girl group with eight members." Fresh start, my ass. I clearly remember that they said the 2 new members were supposed to be around their 20s but WTF is this? A high-school senior? All things considered, this is literally, the worst member lineup change of Kpop this year. Ji Yeon's fans are definitely going to throw a major fit - she's already been the youngest since goddamn debut and now it's changing? Not even SM would go this far with SNSD. KKS and whoever's in charge of the PR department must have stolen a high amount of crack from the Triads or Yakuza and smoked it all just before this. "T-ara will gain one of their two new members this summer, and then later in the year a second member will officially join. The new member will appear introduced through T-ara's music video and plans to meet fans beforehand." Yea, wouldn't be surprised if a sh!tload of fans arrive with boxes of fruit and veges to throw. At this rate, I'll probably end up quitting on being a Diadem for good unless CCM actually starts doing things that make SENSE. Not something that makes a kindergardner a rocket science genius. -
LOL Ji Yeon and Hyomin look like they could fall down any time. Just look at which part of the couch they're sitting on O.o

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0usQPe-82Y I am rather appalled by their debut stage performance. If anything, it reinforces the possibility that Hyomin being the stylist director seems to be another publicity stunt - one of the GK members in that performance is wearing the same shirt Hyomin wore at a Lovey Dovey performance not too long ago. Not even Hyomin would be crazy enough to use the costumes she wore for someone else to wear at their debut performance if she's the stylist director - unless she was given a very limited budget or that CCM simply couldn't be f**ked (worst case scenario, it's probably both)...or in Hyomin's case, because she thinks the group will either flop or just doesn't like them. The choreography is meh and the line distribution is just atrocious - up to the point it rivals T-ara's Lovey Dovey and Cry Cry, maybe even beyond that.

Currently, KARA's the most popular Korean idol girl group in Japan, followed by SNSD. 2NE1 has been doing terrible in sales at Japan though - not sure about their actual rank but to say the least, they're not holding up very well there. I'm not exactly sure about T-ara's ranking though - it is probably considerable to say the least but it's still far behind SNSD and KARA.

*Sigh* More concerts....someone oughta hijack a tank from the ROK Army or Marines and bash into the stage before the girls perform - at least it'd give them a short break. As much as how great they look, I really have to say the number of concerts they attend needs to be cut down big time. Time's ticking...it won't be long till May ends.

[PICS] T-ara as Sudden Attack characters (05/16)
Scatter_88mil replied to candy_floss's topic in Photos
Yes it's an online game that's free to download at Nexon. You won't find them anywhere in the North American version of the game though (NA version is used by players outside Korea and maybe China since the Korean version doesn't work properly anywhere outside Korea) - the Korean version also has Big Bang, 2NE1, KARA, Rain and 2 comedians from Gag Concert as playable characters but no other version has so far released them for play. Worse - you have to pay money to play as idol characters AND you don't keep them forever. The amount you pay depends on how long you choose to keep them for (3 days, 1 week, 1 month, maybe 3 months if it's available). The longer you choose to keep them, the higher the price you need to pay. -
Why not? lol CCM's been using T-ara to promote GK for a while now so it wouldn't be surprising if this news is part of it as well. With the Kpop industry over-saturated with countless idol groups, they probably think using T-ara would make things better for GK. Though for me, it's a rather lousy of them to do so. Resource distribution (money, assigned staff, logistics etc.) will also become a concern in the long run - considering CCM's 5dolls and Co-Ed School ended up as flops (no offense to those who like either of those 2 groups) and it has far more burdens to take care of - maintaining Mnet Channel, employment Who knows, there's likely plenty of smaller companies that are even worse than CCM (Open World Ent. comes into mind). She didn't even say the name of the company she left for so that does raise a couple of eyebrows. Call it pessimistic, but she probably had nowhere else to go or had to 'bribe' her way back for any chance of success, even if it was slight (if you get what I'm saying).

Fanboy mode on: OMG SOYEON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAJOR EYE CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fanboy mode off and back to usual self: Really now, I'm pretty surprised at So Yeon there - she definitely sparks up quite a bit of presence in those pics. Boram....please refrain from putting one side of your hair behind your shoulders....it just doesn't look right for some reason. You're the only member with black hair there. -
[12.05.15] Gangkiz to T-ara, "We're sorry and thankful"
Scatter_88mil replied to nathaniel's topic in News
Sorry to burst your bubble but I doubt any of the members will ever remain affiliated with CCM after T-ara itself disbands - after going through all the misery KKS inflicted on them, they'd probably very likely split on their own or in pairs to other agencies or even create their own company (in this case, Shinhwa comes into mind). CCM's former artists such as SG Wannabe and Lee Hyori also left the company and they were big hits years back - and have yet to come back to CCM in any way. And I hardly doubt KKS will ever give up his position as CEO anytime soon, unless the cops bust him for something big (doubtful), he resigns and retires (again, doubtful) or the shareholders remove him indefinitely (probably won't happen since CJ Group has stayed pretty quiet regarding CCM so far). The guy's only 50 or so and it won't be till at least 10 years when he'll possibly retire. -
Never really knew much about Hyomin's fashion style, admittedly but considering she was a former ulzzang (whom a great portion also have quite some style), I guess it can't be too bad to say the least. But really, why on earth is T-ara being used to continuously promote GK? Is it because CCM is trying to leech off the negative image it's received regarding T-ara? If so, it's not working at all. I'm also highly concerned whether if Hyomin volunteered for the job or was pretty much forced/coerced/ordered to - really, T-ara's schedules are brutal enough and now Hyomin's got more work piled on her. If y'all ask me, it's way too much to ask. There ain't much time left till the Japanese tour and shortly after that, it's the promotions for the 2nd album in July. CCM's time management is just appalling.

[EVENT] T-ara's performance at the 2012 Seoul Forum (05/16)
Scatter_88mil replied to tikaluph's topic in Photos
Really now, ANOTHER performance? Christ, CCM's being even more despicable by the day. Performing here and there and all along with the Japanese tour in June, it's really making me wonder how they'll ever manage to get proper work done for the upcoming album in July. Either DELAY the 2nd album so they can given some slack or just cut down on the current performances already . And I thought SNSD had it hard in mid 2009 to early 2010. -
[PICS] T-ara as Sudden Attack characters (05/16)
Scatter_88mil replied to candy_floss's topic in Photos
The game's available in different versions, depending on your location since Nexon's expanded overseas quite a bit. I believe there's a Korean, Chinese and North American version - the K version obviously gets the most attention since it's the main source of income while NA is catered mostly towards players based at North America (as well as South America), SE Asia, Australia, New Zealand and MAYBE Japan to some extent - effectively making it the international version. There was a specific Vietnamese version made as well a while back but it was shut down - at least from what I heard, due to an excessive amounts of hackers breaking in. The T-ara characters are most likely for the Korean version though, in which you need to registrate and make a Nexon ID - which also means you need a Korean national ID number (or whatever it's called and pretty much means you need a Korean passport as well). Much like the Big Bang, 2NE1, Rain and KARA characters, you'll probably have to pay to play as T-ara characters as well (SK's gaming industry is also highly developed and commercialized in its own right so it's not uncommon to see even the average player spend a fair amount of real-life cash as well - back at Korea 09, most of the guys I knew spent money for specific characters or items in all sorts of games - hell, my aunt's eldest kid, aged only 11 spent as much as 50k Won in a month on that kinda stuff and got no complaints). Worse off, you only keep the bought characters for a limited time. The characters do offer bonus such as extra points per kill, extra experience etc. though. Don't know about the Chinese version but NA hasn't got any of the idol characters so far. If it did, I would have heard about it already or from a few mates or my brothers since they still play it a lot. For violence, you can choose it to be ON or OFF in the settings mode in the game itself. I wouldn't recommend the NA version though since lagging happens occasionally, not to mention it has a higher amount of hackers and tappers than the Korean version by a massive margin. In gameplay, it's quite wide and very much like the typical FPS game you'll come across to. Rooms can fit up to 16 people maximum and are divided into two teams (red and blue). The rest of the info for gameplay modes can be found at either Nexon itself or in Wikipedia. Real money is used to pay for special items and characters while points are for buying weapons and gear - points are earned from killing players of the other team as well as accomplishing certain objectives for more specific game modes. Points also add up to your experience bar, which is used to progress through the ranks (you start as a Recruit) - the higher the rank, the longer it takes to rank up. Kill/death ratios are also measured - if your death ratio is higher, the lower the percentage it is (above average and higher-skilled players range from between 50% to as high as 68%, depending on which game modes they play the most and how far the gap between their kills and deaths is). Weapon-wise, there's primary, secondary, grenade and melee. Ideally, most players would take the AK-47 as primary and D.Eagle as secondary (nades and melee highly depends on personal choice). Others would use the M4A1 or TRG-21 (to smaller degree, SCAR and FAMAS are used too) while other weapons are practically ignored - submachine guns, shotguns and machine guns are a very rare sight and there's a reason why average players don't use them. You can also apply for 'clans' and engage in matches with other clans in the Clan match servers - though a lot of these clans can be pretty picky with membership while other players act as YB - 'yong byung', which means mercenary in Korean, fighting for a clan until they're no longer needed but get gifted items from the clan itself as pay. Which also goes to say, a significant number of clans are filled with players who're also K.version veterans (myself included). Having played both versions, hackers and tappers were very rare to come across to when I played the Korean version during 2008 to the end of 2009 but for the NA version (started playing this when I went back to NZ in 2010 since playing the K. verson here tends to lag a lot due to distance), I literally lost count, especially from September and beyond. K. version is a lot safer to play but you'll probably come across a lot more better-skilled players while the NA version is the opposite (so long as you avoid the more high-leveled players unless you're confident enough to take them on, which has also increased in number since 2011). New players would struggle a lot initially however. Sorry if I rambled on lol. Hope this helps! -
[PICS] T-ara as Sudden Attack characters (05/16)
Scatter_88mil replied to candy_floss's topic in Photos
Being a former Sudden Attack player and fan, I really have to say Nexon's disappointed me again. Ever since 2010, I felt the game had been going downhill since it started catering more towards younger players (age 8-13) while those in high school and uni were steadily ignored - not to mention the amount of idol characters as well as some weird ones started popping up around back then, making the concept of the original characters a moot point (the Red Team and Blue Team). Not to mention SA essentially copied the Zombie mode matches in Counter Strike: Online by making a Vampire mode. Putting Rain first was a huge hit, but really, is it necessary to add more idol characters in? Big Bang, 2NE1 and KARA were already put in and now T-ara? And who's going to be next? Rainbow? SNSD? BEAST? MBLAQ? At most, Nexon's just doing it purely for the money. Not even other popular FPS games in Korea like Counter Strike: Online and SF add idols into their character list. At this rate, I might as well call the game Idol Attack, not Sudden Attack. *Sigh* Nexon....what are you doing to this game... -

[12.05.15] Gangkiz to T-ara, "We're sorry and thankful"
Scatter_88mil replied to nathaniel's topic in News
@nathaniel - I really doubt that T-ara actually gives a damn about Gangkiz's career, all things considered. Interviews aren't exactly what I'd call fully trustworthy, considering that it's not really hard to script or lie in them - T-ara's hardly any exception, considering when they were asked about the new member additions, they played it off awfully cooly and calmly up to the point anyone could tell it was a bloated lie. Which also goes to say, I wouldn't even fully trust everything what they say on Twitter either. I don't think I'm exaggerating that they're barred from expressing their full and honest opinions in Twitter, to be frank (and the same can be said with other idols from other agencies).
