    Areum isn't 14.
The only way to make him listen to the fans if the fans themselves organize a boycott against T-ara's album next month - as much as it would put a huge damage on T-ara as a whole, it's the only way that can knock some sense into him.
T-ara isn't going to be disbanded or become a huge flop over one album having bad sales as they're among the top tier groups in Korea so I'd say it's worth a shot. The main source of income is of course, from the fans - if the fans organize something of their own against him, then definite results occur.

The difference is that BoA debuted as a solo - not as a member of a group, not to mention SM had already been well-established with earlier artists before then AND overall, performs much better than CCM does, business-wise.

since she requested to debut earlier, i'll pray very hard that she will be dropping out from the group earlier too, since she will be gaining more haters, and she is not strong in any of the performing skills (neither singing nor dancing)...

As someone who entered into the entertainment industry at a younger age than she is (and certainly not an industry as rough as the Korean music industry), I personally don't feel sorry for people who put themselves in a position such as her without taking the time to get educated on what the non-glamorous side of the industry entails (considering her age, her parents should have done this in her case) prior to making a decision. The only people who I feel sorry for are the children whose parents force them to be in the industry despite their desires not to be. It's not about being immature, it's about being realistic and being mature enough to understand the good and the bad of what type of situation you're getting yourself into and how it's going to affect you as well as those who are working around you. If you can't take the bad with the good, being in the entertainment industry is not the place to be if you can't handle it. At least Areum wanted to be a singer and should have great knowledge of what she is getting into since she has parents who worked in the industry. Dani, on the other hand, had no desire to be a singer prior to being scouted and is starting with zero experience yet she wants to be on stage in less than half a year's worth of training. And she most likely knows the negative impact her joining the group has had on the fans yet she wants to start performing earlier instead of allowing the fans time to gradually get used to her being in a group and officially debuting later. Let's be real, her main concern is being on stage and basking in the limelight. If she felt otherwise, she would have stuck to what she said before about wanting to focus more on training instead of doing a complete 180 and asking to perform earlier than she was originally intended. I'll give her one thing, she's pretty bold to ask the CEO to change his plans about the time when she's supposed to come out. He better be careful with her, especially if she's the type to be bold and speak out on things she doesn't agree with or doesn't like (you know how much he hates that). Although it rubbed me the wrong way, I appreciate her honesty as I like seeing a person's true colors rather than them just saying some crap to make them look good (like that turning down beauty campaign offers to focus on training BS that I suspect CCM of making up to make her look so desirable).

Here comes the whiny 14 year old, who had no interest or prior training in singing or dancing before being selected to be in the group, wanting to be on stage with established members in less than half a year of training. She clearly just wants to get all the fame and attention that T-ara has earned over the years without having to wait until December to do it. She wants to get on stage so she can hear people cheer for her and shout out her name without a clear understanding of how the Korean music industry works as well as how she'll possibly be perceived. I feel quite sorry for her as she comes across as not having a clue about what she's getting into. I seriously hope they reconsider her joining the group as she seems to be giving CCM a headache already with her request. She has no regard of how her joining the group can affect the others and is solely concerned about getting on stage just to be there. Exactly what I'd expect out of a 14 year old but not a future member of T-ara.

2330 and I see a car used in the present day still - maybe I'll find an 18th century musket in a garbage dumpster then.
Katanas? Couldn't they have gotten say, something like laser guns, nail guns like the ones from FEAR or somethin? Or maybe something like a lightsabre?
The last time katanas were used for fighting was WW2 by the IJA's officers (and they were more used for beheading, stabbing and cutting civilians and POWs). Plus using katanas in say, close-quarters combat (especially indoors) is a tricky thing - there's a reason why soldiers use bayonets mounted on their rifles (and even that doesn't occur very often in today).

Except that it's impossible for CCM to refuse that kind of money - ever. They did the same ploy with T-ara and GangKiz so it's rather laughable at best and downright stupid at worst.
You don't need six long months to learn, practice and memorize the choreography of T-ara's biggest hit tracks (BPBP, Roly Poly and Lovey Dovey) and it's not like she'll be performing in T-ara's solo concert in August either or be the main dancer of the group. Assuming she trains for 4-6 hours every day, she could probably memorize it all within a month or two at the latest.
Add in the choreography for whatever T-ara's promoting later this year, again, only a month or two needed if you consider the hours trainees go through in Kpop.
CCM's lying about the whole thing. It's as simple as that.

Don't tell me you actually believe CCM's words like this *facepalm*....
And you don't need 6 months to learn T-ara's choreography unless CCM's already planned to do a comeback later at October in earliest (and even that's doubtful since they'd be more concerned with T-ara's second album coming up this summer along with the tour in Japan just weeks away).

I'm no Malaysian nor do I live in Malaysia but here's an idea to suggest - how about the M-Queen's start gathering up some money to donate to Boram as a special support gift? Maybe buy her some extra goodies and all? Maybe hand it out at the concert to the T-ara members themselves? Let'em know that we're all pissed at CCM too.
Given her current health condition, I think y'all should prep something for her specially since her membership is really hanging on a thread right now, especially since the possibility of KKS/CCM planning to get her kicked out has gotten a lot bigger.
And if those two new members come about to, like kenzo said, prep some eggs and other fruit and veges

    Whoa wait, what?
I don't recall So Yeon complaining that her work as the main vocalist is too 'burdening'.
If anything, putting in two extra lead/main vocalists will make the line distribution even worse - we all know that Boram, Qri and Hwa Young hardly get anything with Eun Jung closely following behind the three. This will also put down Hyomin's position as lead vocalist and in effect, likely downgrade her to just a sub-vocal.
Now I see - in the long run, Boram and Qri are very likely to be forgotten almost completely. Actually, they'll probably be pressured to leave themselves. KKS, you make me sick. Rather than kicking them out yourself, you're just pressuring them slowly to leave. You sir, are subhuman and deserve to have a squad of Schutzstaffel soldiers and doctors torture and experiment on you to death

I know KKS is a real hardcore troll but I never knew that he has a passion for fortune telling too >.< Seriously, this is quite pissing me off. Is he trying to make us believe that a star can be born this way? I mean this is not a drama or a movie and we're talking about T-ara here. Before I said that I would give the new members a chance but seeing how they got their spot to be at T-ara is like insulting us fans.
If KKS really believes that Dani is really a something then train her more. She just got dance lessons (which I'm guessing almost everyone is getting already) and she's completely clueless about what she can do. And the heck he said Dani is practicing her skills in rapping and dancing, then T-ara will have 4 rappers already?! Where's his statement of a "promising, vocally improved T-ara"? As far as I can remember he said the new members will assist Soyeon (main vocal), not Hwayoung (main rapper) nor Jiyeon (main dancer). Yet he's taking a great leap to do this to T-ara.
I'm sorry but I guess KKS is not after T-ara's improvement, it looks like he's looking for a partner~ And this is creepy and scary for T-ara and Queens.

And then I started to understand, isn't this... what we call "love at first sight" ?
What could explain better the fact that KKS don't stop talking about Dani as if she were a goddess and seek at all cost to make her debut as soon as possible without any discernment ?
I'm affraid of this conclusion but honnestly, that's the most plausible that I found.

Bo Peep Bo peep is B, Cry Cry is C and D is DANI !!! (*giggle) I was discovered on the streets by our beloved "father", KKS. Please don't be jealous of me cause I know I'm really lucky to be discovered in this manner since I've no idea that I can either sing or act. But I can dance though. I hope that I'll change all your hate towards me to love and please support me. Here's a tip to everyone who's dreaming of getting discovered by paedophiles like KKS. Just wear clothes that make you look innocent and of course you should always be seen eating an ice-cream while going for a movie. Thank you everyone. Hope that you'll love me".
It's so hard to not hate Dani. It's so freaking hard. I have a feeling that KKS is making us hate her even more. Hate as much as you want but in the end, we'll all love her cause the T-ara members will pretend as if she's accepted in the group. Love T-ara means love Dani.
As much as I love T-ara and as much as I hope that they'll last long as a group, I hope that at the end of this year, they'll do something about what KKS is pressuring on them. Soyeon should lead the lawsuit (I even think she could become their own lawyer) with strong support from Jiyeon, Eunjung and Hyomin. They need to do something to prevent themselves from being treated like a slave or puppet already. If they like it, finish all their concerts first, publish that repackage album and then start sueing.

I think the difference here is that Hwayoung WANTED to be in the industry, she was scouted on an entertainment show she appeared on, so she already knew this was something she wanted to do. I also wouldn't necessarily say she's improved since debut as she's always been talented...she has just been given more opportunities to show HOW talented she is as of late, whereas when she debuted she was kind of pushed to the back or given lines like "I like-a like-a dis" that did nothing to showcase her abilities. But she absolutely KILLED her part in "Ma Boo," and that was enough for me to realize that there was something special about her. Hwayoung has always kind of possessed a natural spark that catches your eye, too...in performances like "Cry Cry," where she doesn't sing at all, I always found myself watching out for her because she exudes confidence and sexiness in that choreo. I'd argue that she did the best job with it out of all the girls... But I digress. Dani, on the other hand, is just too damn young to know what she wants, and if being an idol hadn't even crossed her mind before she was scouted then my hopes aren't too high for her regarding her capabilities. BoA, who was similarly scouted, trained for YEARS before she was allowed to finally debut, whereas Dani will make her debut in mere months. T-ara are quickly becoming Asian-wide superstars; the last thing they need is a weak link in the form of an adolescent girl who is just figuring out who she is, much less what she wants to do with the rest of her teenage/young adult life.
This little girl just better realize that once she's in T-ara, she's in it. She better stick it out for the sake of the other eight girls and not screw it up for them. She needs to bust her ass and bring her A-game since this whole ordeal has brought so much stress on both the group and the fandom that I'm surprised T-ara hasn't stepped up and said something yet. She has a lot to prove and if she ends up being dead weight it'll be pointed out fast by people who will have no problem obliterating a young girl and calling her the filthiest names imaginable just because they can. No special accomodations better be made for her outside of what is legally required for minors in the industry; if the older members are suffering and busting their butts, she better be right alongside them doing the same. After this I don't want to hear about member additions, deletions, NOTHING for a good long while, if ever again. And God help me, if T-ara end up taking the After School route and do the ridiculous admission/graduation system, I'm out. Kahi's recent announcement that she would be leaving AS to pursue a solo career brings the number of original members in the group down to 2. Anybody that's followed AS can attest to the fact that they are nowhere NEAR the same group they used to be, either in concept or in sound. It's a ridiculous system, and it just won't work for T-ara because it was never part of the plan for them to begin with. Hell, it hasn't even really worked out all that well for AS, and fans KNEW it was part of their concept. But these changes that KKS insists on implementing don't feel organic and are hardly sound; they're just ridiculous gimmicks that are just hurting the credibility T-ara had finally gained in the industry.
If I didn't know any better I'd venture to say that KKS is INTENTIONALLY trying to destroy T-ara, because nobody can be so stupid to believe that such drastic changes won't hurt the group, especially when they're at such a precarious point in their relatively young careers. Now is the time to be promoting STABILITY, not restructuring them to the point that the fans won't be able to recognize the group as a whole any longer. Better yet, instead of scaring the girls into submission, why don't you listen to them, KKS? Their cries for a break are legitimate and shouldn't be stifled; there's no reason to punish them for telling the truth, and if you want them to get through the dreaded "3 year curse" intact then I'd be doing my damnedest to keep them happy and satisfied, not pouring salt on their wounds.

Isn't it unusual to scout someone from the STREET to an already established girl group? That seeing a child on the street made KKS think "HMM THIS GIRL IS WHAT T-ARA IS MISSING."
When you think about this, really think about it, it should dawn on everyone that Dani was recruited for nothing else except her age. If she had been a talented youtube cover singer, a model, a child actress, anything at all it would have at least been excusable. One could at least have speculated that KKS was putting thought into how he manages his top girl group. "Hey maybe this little girl shows great promise, maybe she's passionate about singing, maybe she's a good dancer, maybe her english speaking skills will take T-ara to the next level." But no. Knowing she was cast from the street at 12 years old and thrown into a 3 year old girl group just makes it obvious there was no thinking involved.
KKS literally took to the streets and picked up a random little girl, to show T-ara that he's their slave master and rub in in their face that he makes them. That their talents mean nothing. That they are his pawns and easily replaceable. He's despicable.

I am so sick of hearing about this girl...the more I hear about her the less legitimate the whole thing sounds. So, she's 14, she didn't even want to pursue a career in the idol industry, and at this point we really have no clue if she can sing or act because she was scouted by KKS on the street, no less. She can dance, but T-ara's choreography has never been known to be extremely challenging, and a good dancer is only going to make T-ara's issues with fatigue during their live performances MORE noticeable, so what's her purpose? I'll tell you: she's a visual, plain and simple, and it pisses me off. Her age isn't what's holding her back from debuting sooner than December...it's that there was plenty of work to be done before she could even set foot on a stage as I'm guessing she probably has no natural talent whatsoever. Furthermore, T-ara doesn't need visuals, there are plenty of beautiful girls in the group, all of which could be pegged as visuals depending on the territory you're in or who you're talking to. If T-ara needed anything it was a strong voice to help build a bridge between Soyeon's lovely but understated vocals or Eunjung's powerful but at times uncontrolled singing. THAT'S what we needed, not more dead weight for the girls to contend with. Dani will have lost her usefulness by the time she debuts as I've noticed a lot of people are sick of hearing about her, and it's only been two weeks since we found out about her. Furthermore, T-ara never NEEDED new members to achieve a total overhaul...KKS could have achieved a similar result by putting the girls on hiatus for several months to a year to work on their vocals and dancing abilities. He's going about this all the wrong way, and he's killing T-ara's momentum in the process.
Hopefully the other new member will be what Dani is proving NOT to be...a talented, hard worker who helps bring the girls of T-ara to a new level. But right now I don't see it for Dani. At all. Hwayoung had to bust her ass to get in good with netizens, and she made sure it was known within a year's time of her debuting that she was a multi-faceted performer...excellent rapper, decent dancer, fair vocalist, surprisingly talented songwriter. She may have brought nothing new to the group, but she was a sound addition in that she is talented and blended well with the group. Dani better gear up and be ready, because I see her having it even worse than Hwa did when she debuted.

If he had cast her on the street, I think KKS should put more effort in refining her and make her debut a little later with other trainees or as a soloist.
If she really is such a nice find, KKS shouldn't push her debut, especially not with a group that's already successful. It's just a downfall for both Dani and T-ara imo.
And no matter how many hours of training is done beforehand, having only less than a year of training before putting in a top notch group is stupid as hell.
But i guess he lost his "Midas touch" because of other suppose 'failures' So he's just playing it safe and putting her in an already successful group.

Scatter_88mil reacted to FreakyFlyBri in [12.06.06] T-ara's Boram absent from new album promotions, discovered to have acute gastritis
Acute gastritis is inflammation of the stomach lining...it can be caused by a multitude of different things, but it's usually associated with taking too many NSAIDS (anti-inflammatory drugs like Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Naproxen). This is more than likely why Boram developed gastritis; if she's having to take medicine like Tylenol or Ibuprofen every day, gastritis can develop. Another malady to watch out for is liver failure.
This news is saddening on so many levels...for some reason I feel like the stage is being set for Boram to leave the group after reading this. I'm sad for one because this is T-ara's FIRST MAJOR TOUR EVER, and Boram is not going to be able to join the girls on their first tour date; it's possible she may miss the tour entirely. That sucks, as even if the girls are overworked I'm sure that on some level they recognize that this is what they've been working for, and Boram has played a major part in the group's Japanese promotions so her absense will be missed. She deserved to be there standing alongside the other six when they took their bow on the first night.
Going back to the original point I made, I just fear that this may be used as a way to gently "push" Boram out of the group in the coming months. In a way it's the perfect crime...the foundation is laid by the announcement that she is having to be pulled from the group's promotions due to gastitis, leading to a public discussion on her health (which, let's face it, has been pretty poor since she joined T-ara); a few months later, Boram exits the group, citing that her health is her first priority and that she wishes to recuperate. The only problem is that KKS has become such a nasty monster that we could never be sure if that was truly the reason she exited the group...if it is true, then by all means, I applaud her on taking her life into her own hands and making a decision that will benefit her for years to come, but if this is all some elaborate ruse to push her out of the group while simultaneously absolving CCM/KKS of any guilt then I hope it comes back to bite the idiot in the ass, so hard. And I don't want to think like this, at all...I really don't. I want to think that they're being compassionate to her and they understand that this is truly out of her hands, but I just have a feeling that nothing good will come of this.
Praying for you, Rambo. You're my bias in the group, and I'm so sorry that you won't get your time to shine on tour like you deserve. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Some of you are saying that it's not her fault that she will be the new member of T-ara but when you think about it, she has the right to say a big fat NO when she was told that she will be added to T-ara. Did KKS/CCM put a knife on her neck and threatened her to agree with their decision to be added to T-ara? It's still part of her fault that she gets a lot of hate from fans since she agreed to be added to T-ara in the first place. She should have known that she will be getting a lot of hate from fans unless she's too "innocent" and "naive" to not realize the fact. By accepting the offer to be added to T-ara, she gives me the impression that she's just someone who wants quick fame and quick cash when she's only as young as 12 years old.
There are different levels of acceptance to something that pisses/disappoints you. For me, I initially hated her. Then, I tried to ignore the fact that she will be added to T-ara. Then, life goes on and I recognized the fact that she will be added to T-ara. And now, I'm trying my very best to not hate her and be neutral. And finally who knows she might grow on me and I'll like her (I doubt so).
I think I am going to just ignore her for a moment until I get used to her name popping up in the news section cause it's pissing me off. This is how CCM (or KKS) feeds off from fans - he wins against us fans by pulling off such things like that. Just months ago when the news was first announced, pretty much everyone here went ballistic about it and now we're seeing people that actually accept her as a member already.
They know that T-ara's fandom is not as big as say, SNSD or 2NE1 - which even SM and YG can't ignore all fully. Considering the timing that the official fandom opening ceremony kicks up at roughly the same time as the 8th member's debut and the release of the 2nd album...it can't be just a coincidence. It actually seems like CCM considered the member addition some time before even announcing it.
