T-ara controversy for the first time was given in an opened discussion on Echannel aired on 23/08. With the participation of 14 journalists from different sections as: sport, ent, economy….. All of them have agreed that it was not T-ara fault but netizens. They gave their POV that netizens have destroyed T-ara image and called this is a “step back” of Hallyu wave

    hyotheleader:

To drama producers, issues of production sponsorship, PPL etc are no doubt important, but to tamper with the drama’s plan for these issues is not the way. A production that succeeds relying on despicable things, is very muddled. Although the production sponsorship for The Thousandth Man is zero ㅠ I will not give up. Money is something that you will have when you work harder.

A Chinese fan’s thoughts about Eunjung and Five Fingers…
From Ham Eunjung Baidu, written by 总攻后宫数不尽
    Link: http://tieba.baidu.com/p/1811121205
    English Translations by @kckclalala
Things have already happened for almost a month..in these days, almost everyday, there have been bad news and unfavourable reports, but regardless of other people’s abusive words, all the pain, all of their misbeliefs, we still chose to believe that the sky will be bright again, that things will eventually pass…as long as we can overcome this once more. But right now, I am starting to feel lost, the damage has already been done, can you really return to the Ham Eunjung of the past, the one who loved to smile?
“Firstly, I believe that there are many who anticipate Five Fingers, so to avoid anymore negative influence, I will, with my greatest strength, try my hardest. Regardless of whatever drama, I will work differently from other people [and work to my greatest ability]. For all the sunbaenims and writers here, whether actors or celebrities, I will work with a careful and cautious state of mind; work hard and then strive and fight for everyone’s satisfaction. I hope everyone will anticipate this greatly.” Oh, how ironic these words are. A few days ago, this child faced enormous pressure and attended Five Fingers’ press conference, regardless of how nervous or how difficult it was, she used her greatest effort to hold back her own emotions, just to help promote the drama and to not bring any more inconvenience to the cast and crew…Yesterday, she was still practicing piano and her lines for shooting. Filming had not even started, and she had already given so much, but for all her efforts and hard work, what did she get in return? Just only a damned phrase “dropped from the drama”?
This world, how unfair it is.
Ham Eunjung ah, what did you actually do wrong? Why do you have to suffer so much? Just because of an edited video clip, just because netizens and reporters have blown the “bullying incident” out of proportion, just because you have an incompetent president, just because of your one sentence, one action…and everyone is now destroying little by little, your many years of hard work, the achievements that you’ve made out from your years of hard work…As expected, there is no fairness in this world.
I rather that you had asked her to leave the drama when everything first happened, instead of giving her hope and expectations before kicking her to the bottom of the valley. After using her, then abandoning her, ha, you really know how to add insult to injury. Yesterday there was still news of Eunjung to paticipate in her first filming today, but today you made her leave the drama. Korean dramas use a live shooting system, and you’ve already aired two episodes. Eunjung was supposed to join from the fifth, so this means that the fifth episode has not yet been filmed, and yet you air two episodes per week. Which is to say that the replacement actress has less than two weeks to study the script and to film. I don’t believe producers would take such a big risk, when nothing has been confirmed yet…the T-ara incident was not a recent piece of news from the past two days. Advertisers, producers, and even SBS…everyone had already known about it. When the issue was debated most hotly and vigorously, you said that you will not replace her, but when things are finally settling a bit, you say that you are replacing her? Do you people all like to play spontaneous games? Because today I feel that you will not bring me negative press, I will support you. Because today I feel that you will bring me negative press, I do not want you anymore. Maybe tomorrow because you can’t find an appropriate replacement, so you will want her back again? To step on someone who’s already fallen, how scary is human nature? Really I don’t lose anything from not watching your drama as I was only following Five Fingers from the beginning because of Eunjung anyway. Now that I’m not following it, I can even spend my time better, read some novels and do more of the other things I want to do…Thinking about it, this may even be a good thing for me. But what about for Eunjung?
Do you not have a bit of heart? If you had used her when she was popular, I don’t blame you, but using her when she was already down, using her to create more press coverage, I really can’t stand it…When I see all these news about her, images of her crying always float into my mind. To suffer so many blows one after another, even the strongest person would break down, and in any case Ham Eunjung is not as strong as she looks…To what extent do you want to push them till…? They’ve lost their popularity, they’ve lost their endorsements, and now Eunjung has lost her drama as well. You must all be satisfied, right? Happy, right? Then can you let up on my T-ara, let up on my Eunjung now?
Really, now I do not have any extravagant hopes. As long as you are well, as long as you can be like a normal person and eat well, sleep well…then we fans are happy and satisfied.
If you have never accompanied your idol during his or her most difficult times, you will not understand how I feel.
If you have never truly liked a celebrity, then it is more likely you will not understand how I feel.
A person can change a lot because of love, he or she can change for the better or for the worst. And Ham Eunjung, because I love you, I have become more understanding of the ways of the world. The way I perceive things have become more mature as well. Because of you, I have learned to be a filial daughter…Really, you’ve taught me a lot, so Ham Eunjung, to be able to meet you, like you, and love you, it really is my blessing and the happiest thing in my life.
Lastly, I hope with all my heart that you can comeback with a smile. No matter how long we have to wait, as long as you don’t give up, we will be by your side, even if we become bruised black and blue, we will not retreat. We only hope that we can stand behind you and be your strongest support and backing.
I want to say, Ham Eunjung, I love you. Not too much and not too little, but just a lifetime’s worth of love.

Why is Eunjung suffering the hardest hit in this controversy. First WGM, then Five Fingers, now a simple one-off pre-recorded cameo. Seems like the media companies now are putting cyber bullying into real play. They are so easily influenced and manipulated by the public. Honestly speaking, I think 50% of the people don't really care about what has happened and wish to get over this, but there they are focusing so much on those who are persistently harping on this issue. They are indirectly playing a part in worsening the already tensed situation if they don't know.
Everything's totally ridiculous. Just yesterday she got robbed off her role, which is shocking and unreasonable enough. Very irresponsible of SBS to make such a last minute decision, when she was all prepared practising piano and script-reading. If they intend to cut her off in the first place, why even bother giving false hopes to her by getting her to to meet up with the fellow crews on a day before the revelation. You bring someone skyhigh and you dropped a bomb and send the person back to rocket bottom. It is better off to cut her before the press con then. Why wait so long. Using her as a mean to promote and gain attention because of the scandal T-ara is in? Then remove her when ratings are good and get worried that her presence will affect the ratings following on? And the act to source for a backup for Eunjung when she was totally engrossed in the role just proves that Eunjung is not a first priority for the character. Despite being the main cast, they are indirectly treating Eunjung as a backup. If they didn't manage to find anyone to take over the role, I bet they have to suck thumb and stick with Eunjung. It's not worth to let Eunjung take up the role anymore. The role doesn't deserve Eunjung now. Eunjung can do better. Not to say she was clueless about all these and got the news only got to her through media reports, not from SBS itself. Guilt stricken SBS? Absolute xxxx. This is backstabbing at its highest level. I hope their conscience serves them right. They are bound to regret all that they've done...

Just remember, who's making the call to still do jack squat nothing with all these goings-on... But seriously, if ever there was a time for the girls to defy that man, it'd be now. Even if it were messy, emotional and inarticulate, I'd feel like it were... a response fitting to the situation. I get the feeling it wouldn't be met well by the Korean public, so I hope that they can manage a composed response, but hey.
    And yeah...
Backbone, that element lacking in those responsible for Eunjung's sacking. Or, I guess, maybe worse, they're really just creating a situation where their originally intended actions would be more palatable to the public eye. Like what Pilot did, for those of you who know that part of the bible.
But man, this is why Mr. Kim is a stain on the prestige of the kpop industry. Yeah, they (Koreans) deal with things in some ways that I (and others) disagree with. Yeah, it's not all fantasy land magic with kisses and rainbows. Yeah, it's not everything it presents itself to be. But, Kpop is a legitimate entertainment option, and one of its main draws was, really, that they could do those entertainment things without having the same hangups as the American entertainment industry. Not to give too much sway to like, stereotypes, but Kpop is making it in the Arab world. And I've read, blogs and stuff from Americans, that the thing about Kpop is that it isn't rife with the same cynical, jaded viewpoints we get all the time in America (even in our mf-ing children's movies, for foss sake), and that America is exporting to the rest of the world, all the f-ing time. And that is still true - Koreans care about different things than Americans do, they deal with things in a different way, all those little things that are different across cultures, but they could still produce a polished, purchasable, and (generally) positive product.
And again, even if backstage, things aren't like on the stage, you take that as a given (once you figure that stuff out) - you still like it, it's still fun, you still listen to it and watch it and talk about it. But can you imagine this situation being as bad as it is if any other company were involved? I mean, arguably we wouldn't even have any kind of crisis as we're having, because other companies wouldn't have given the rumor mill a free hand for five days and then decided to fire the very person that everyone in the public was siding with, and they wouldn't have built a reputation such that people were willing to speculate that you orchestrated a car accident involving four people aside from one of your stars just to gain sympathy, and they wouldn't just sit on their hands after gaining the personal satisfaction of getting your "rebel" star to apologize to you in private. Not only is his company losing money, not only is T-ara having all the problems they're having, but all of Korea is looking jacked right now to the casual observer, not just the Kpop world - and right when it's building momentum across the world.
I mean, if I were a fan on a website talking about American stuff, I would sound like I hated the USA - there's just that much to complain about, seeing things from the inside (and I'm sure people around the world have their complaints too) - okay, maybe I wouldn't, discretion and all, but if I were to complain about American stuff... But kpop is relatively new to the international stage, and aside from people's opinions about Koreans and Asians in general, they just don't need another reason to look down on it. And yet here we have all this.
Mr. Kim may not have created Korean society, he may not have dictated everything about this situation, but he sure as s did his durndest to make things as ridiculous as they've gotten - starting with just being so easy to hate.
But luckily, something distracted me before I bored you even more.
Just because I just saw it, if you're gonna talk about "idols," I mean, what exactly did T-ara do that was so unworthy? Hwayoung, for not not going on stage, or for tweeting about feeling like she was alone in an argument? The other girls, for tweeting words of encouragement that were twisted around to look like mockery? I only take my trash out in the middle of the night - does that make me guilty of making someone think I have something in my trash that I want to keep hidden?
See? This is why I stopped coming here back in April. I just keep going.
Man, before then, I was happy answering questions like "do you like Hyomin with glasses or without?"

Do bear in mind that Hwayoung is not the only one who suffer from all those "bullying".At least she has thousands of people who support her while T-ara basically has none.Oh wait, they do have.Loyal QUEEN'S will always support them and never jumps into conclusion hastily.
Sigh, just when I thought T-ara's biggest controversy is slowly dying down, this BS happen.Poor her.She worked so hard by practicing her lines, facing dozens of reporters and trying to hold back her tears during Five Fingers press conference, tolerate for all those criticism for appearing in it,took piano lessons but suddenly BAM! it all gone to waste.

Okay what the hell is happening?! And what is the truth?! I just read an article in Starnews about SBS saying they don't know anything about Eunjung's dismissal from the cast.. If it's true that Eunjung is indeed removed from the cast how came SBS wasn't informed & Eunjung wasn't informed as well.. I know Eunjung won't quit the drama voluntarily because if she indeed wanted to quit she could have done so before the drama started airing & she wouldn't even bother attending the Press Conference & all the interviews.. And she just attended the script reading yesterday do you expect her to quit after that plus she was suppose to start filming today w/ Changwook..
'Five Fingers Production' better clear this out.. The way i see it SBS & Eunjung's camp don't know anything about the possible dismissal instead it was the 5F production that were discussing this.. Maybe it was still on discussion when the news suddenly leak out that's why SBS & Eunjung doesn't know all about this because it was still under discussion & wasn't confirmed..
I just find it so disrespectful on Eunjung's side if they suddenly removed her after asking her to attend all the Script reading, photoshoots, learning piano, learning to cook in a restaurant, prayer meeting, press conference, all the interviews etc. They could have atleast dismissed her early not like this were she was suppose to have her first shooting today already..
i am so disappointed with Five Fingers that even if Changwook is there i won't watch it because of what they did to Eunjung. They get a high rating on the first 2 episode beating 'May Queen' then they suddenly get scared that the rating might drop if Eunjung is still on the production?! That's bullsh*t.. 5F viewers were adults who doesn't even care about T-ara's incident & not some 12 years old netizens who talk crap on the internet.. Anyway like i said before i already love May Queen's pilot more than 5F so i may as well watch that instead of 5F. i am so much disappointed in them, i would have continue watching if it's Eunjung who drop out & not them removing her..

Eunjung don't have enough determination ? Are you kidding me ?
DO I HAVE TO POINT OUT HOW MANY PERFORMANCES SHE WENT ON STAGE WHILE GETTING INJURED?
Last year she took shots just to get on the goodbye stage for YaYaYa. Early this year she stayed on stage in Lovey Dovey performances until she can't put up with her injuries anymore.

No sure she doesn't. She just show her face on a press conference and keep going in that drama even when haters are filling their stupid lifes or not lifes bulling her.
When she has her ankle hurt and after knee ligaments broken she was with her t-ara members even in a charity visit to elders and just a week or less after was performing with painkillers between stages and bandage. She even went to Paris concert knowing she couldn't perform because of her injury.
She didn't go te beauty saloon while the others were working to fill the gap she left and learning her lines. And hasn't look for pitty on twitter. And say she was so hurt but 2 days after go walking to CCM to talk with the boss.
And just read the news she didn't leave 5 fingers the sponsors pressed sbs to kicked her out. if the word determination
couldn't be say about Eunjung would only be because that word is not enough to express her profesionalism and compromise with her t-ara members, her fans, and herself.

Quite an extensive list of the duds happening to T-ara all year. They actually seem extremely unlucky and I'd go as far to say they're the most unlucky group at current.
    1. Eunjung's leg injury during LD promotions
    2. Jiyeon is unable to take her first ever vacation since debut due to DH2 filming
    3. Soyeon apparently has a bit of a leg injury herself and ends up performing on crutches.
    4. KKS openly threatens them in public
    5. 2 unnecessary members are added
    6. Boram is caught up with acute gastritis
    7. The Twitter issue results in the greatest idol scandal and chaos of 2012
    8. Hwayoung's contract is terminated and gets kicked out.
    9. Soyeon gets in a major car accident (supposedly anyway)
    10. Eunjung gets the boot from the drama she's supposed to be in.
Am I missing anything so far?
It almost as seems like fate wants them to collapse (whether if it's targeted towards CCM or T-ara itself however, is a matter of debate).

It can be because of their products quality or people just aren't interested. I feel bad for Eunjung, she's probably all ready prepared to film her very first scene for this drama and then this emergency meeting happens. AND our foreign fans are no exception
Here is how you can participate in it:
First take a video clip of yourself cheering on T-ara (Sending a supportive message to T-ara or saying like "T-ara Fighting!!")
However, it doesn't have to be a video clip of yourself. You can simply take some pictures of yourself supporting T-ara. Whether it's a banner you have made supporting T-ara, or simply pictures of yourself with T-ara's albums.
After capturing a photo or a video, please send it to bbl0102@me.com or bbl0102@gmail.com
If you send your name, age, nationality and other information in the email, we will put it at the end of the video as a credit.
The finished video clip with Root Queen's cafe's members' supporting message will be burnt into a CD and will be sent to Core Contents Media and hopefully, T-ara will watch it and get encouraged
Please show your support and participate in this activity!

It's not just Soyeon hurting, it's T-ara. Within the past few weeks, we had one member terminated from the group, the remaining members torched by media and management, members risking their individual activities [EunSoHyo and their dramas], one member in a serious car accident and lost a decent percent of fans and the rest confused and frustrated.
As someone who's more familiar with western music culture, an artist going on hiatus for months, years, even decade+ isn't so strange to me. So when the term "comeback" is used in Kpop for groups who released an album a few months before, I found that to be extremely ridiculous. With that being said now would be the time for T-ara to just ghost for a few months, maybe even a year. They need the break and management can use the time to reevaluate things for the better. Though it's nice, we don't need T-ara on stage 24/7. Us fan won't go anywhere or forget them.
I originally posted this somewhere else, but found it more suited for this thread. However when I deleted the original post, I forgot to copy the message lol. I think I covered most of it.

I consider this to be a rather awful decision at best.
T-ara's image is still not exactly great amongst the Korean public even now and all things considered, it doesn't help that groups like T-Jinyo are still around.
Who in their right mind would want to have T-ara release a new song merely weeks after going through perhaps one of the biggest idol scandals to ever occur in Kpop?
No, the best course of action is that they need to lay low until the public as a whole eases down rather than have such an early comeback. Are they willing to face black oceans, more waves of public scrutiny and even possibly physical attacks from antis?

i hate how medias (and some celebs) blow up this issue and take advantage from it. many of those work in entertainment industry blame kks instead of t-ara, did akp post that? no. there're many celebrities sympathized with t-ara, did akp post that? no. there's a huge flaw in those proofs they used, did they give the later explanation of that? no. despite these bunch of antis demanding their removal from dramas, soyeon's drama got fairly good rating in its first air (9% is good for a new drama), did akp report that? no. why? because k-netizens (the t-jinyo movement) basically passed those articles, making huge hits on articles degrading t-ara, other newsites basically copy paste what's trending, and akp being the follower without stance they are, merely posted what's trending too. and basically, what some those crappy antis read in akp is what's trending on k-news sites too.
sure some t-jinyo are indeed t-ara fans who support hwayoung and demand proper explanation from kks, but most of it? haters, antis, bypassers. it's worthy to note that despite their tremendous sales ('roly poly' hit the jackpot last year, i'd probably get slammed by sones if i say 'the boys' is forgettable by the mass and nothing against 'roly poly' or 'good day') and projects like endorsments or dramas, it's known to t-ara fans themselves that they have weak fanbase. i too want the girls to reach out to their fans instead of haters like t-jinyo (kinda like 2pm before, even if most fans decided to turn against them for a while) and kks clearing up hwayoung's name -- because regardless the truth in his statement, it's unprofesionally done.
but stopping these girls activities? ruining their careers? demanding their disbandment? calling them 'bullies' without much knowledge to the issues? get public attention by calling out at them? seriously, get a life.

eunjung oozes an overflowing charisma (her 'rap' part in 'i go crazy because of you' is my favorite), but her 'rap' (more like a speed-talking to me) is all over the place. she's a good vocalist, so just stick with that.
so yeah, hwayoung for me. i first noticed hwayoung's rap talent in sbs chocolate when she did a solo rap and said that she looked after yoon mirae. yep she sparked my interest for a while but died down again after that. to be fair, t-ara songs post hwayoung addition didn't gave her much justice. if not for dbd, some people probably will still consider her as useless addition (and she's indeed *useless* in yayaya-why are you like this-roly poly, a bit useful in lovey dovey). her on stage presence was really weak (she's a newbie between experienced ones, and she got unimportant parts), but she overcome it in dbd. she's the only one i'd consider as rapper between other idol girl group rappers (aside from miryo, cl, yoobin, and bekah).

man, this is getting more and more ridiculous... -.- looks like this t-jinyo's goal isn't something like "we demand truth", their objective is more like "we're going to crush t-ara no matter what" smh.
