boramfan got a reaction from Grimlock in [POLL] Bullying - True or Not?
i think the bullying occur within t-ara is more like 'outcast'-ing. i've experienced this type of 'outcast'-ing before, and it's indeed frustrating. i believe none of t-ara members actually 'bully' (as in being btchy or stuffs like that) but when hwayoung first came and they resisted, hwayoung obviously will experience being an outcast. and that's obviously why i hate kks decision to add her and more members, made the competitive environment even worse. are t-ara guilty? yes. but i don't think they deserve this much hates and alleged 'bullying'. if anything, they've got their share of 'bullying' from netizens as well. i think the members actually don't care about hwayoung being an outcast or whatever, since they're being busy by themselves therefore if they want to hang around, they'd just hang around with the girls they're close (eunjung/jiyeon/hyomin and qri/boram/soyeon). and that's, making hwayoung an outcast. when they're frustrated for her like now, what they've done isn't something surprising either. therefore, hwayoung being outcast is like a given condition, and much worse, the company doesn't give her any help. in this situation, i don't blame hwayoung at all. she could be unprofessional, not enough determination or whatever, but she's suffered from this whole outcast-ing thing. and her tweet to back up herself is something i'd give props, because usually an outcast (since i've been an outcast too) doesn't have that much courage to stand up.
to put it shortly, i believe a 'bullying' is happened, in this type of 'outcast'-ing form. and i've predicted it since day 1 hwayoung join. therefore, i couldn't bring myself to watch 7-ara variety shows as i sense some awkwardness. yep i disappointed that the members can't be mature enough to solve this whole outcast fiasco after one year or so debuting together. i totally disappointed that they even criticized her publicly. of course this all could be ccm public stunt went wrong, but i believe what happened behind the scenes (hwayoung being an outcast) isn't that much different from what i thought. i just hope, even truth isn't something you usually find in entertainment industry, they all can speak up about everything, apologize if necessary. therefore, if hwayoung want to go, hwayoung's departure from t-ara left no grudge. and if she wants to return, the 6-ara can be more mature and try their best to accept hwayoung into the group.
and seriously, get a fixed leader.

[12.08.03] T-ara are victims of reckless reporters

T-ara are victims of unconfirmed reports in the media.
Recently, the bullying situation began with a few tweets and reports saying Hwayoung was bullied in T-ara. Suspicions that idol groups have bullying in them have been around forever, and didn't just start yesterday. But the recent bullying accusations have exploded and attracted more attention than ever before.
A problem that lies within this is that there is so much interest in the case, that reports are being published in the press just to increase views and clicks on their website which is the wrong attitude.
To confirm the allegations that first began about bullying, netizens went and dug up various things that happened in the past. Excerpts from various different broadcasts were brought up through screen-captures and questioned, but they were not originally a problem when they first aired. The reports spread throughout the media were written without going through a verification process. Reports that were contacting representatives from the broadcasts were also hard to find.
In addition to making screen-captures of various broadcasts, rumors have been circulating about T-ara. False and malicious rumors, such as "gangs" and the like, have been circulating online because of "netizens suspicions," but like the screen-captures, they have not been verified. The "trainee" was proven to be false, and the "back-dancer" report as well, but both spread before any confirmation had been done. Some even have gone far to force evidence and say that Hwayoung left a hidden message, "fans only know," in her Twitter message but the truth is it's different depending on where you look at the image.
Websites gain revenue through clicks on ads on their website, and these reckless and unprofessional reports being spread attract attention and revenue for whoever reports it.
The bullying allegations first started on July 28th through Twitter messages and continued until the 2nd. T-ara related searches dominated every popular search ranking on various portal sites. The Olympics began, but T-ara's scandal has attracted more attention and higher interest. The topic located at the center is that journalists recklessly report things posted online without getting confirmation just for a few more clicks on their website.
Hwayoung recently posted on Twitter, "Please stop now and look forward to when I'll return with a new more mature and sophisticated image." The situation is at a point where it's finally calmed down.

    Jaemin's support for Eunjung

The Eunjung I know is pure and simple, lonelier than anyone else, and with a personality unlike a celebrity. After returning from Japan, even without sleep, she will still keep her promise to watch her classmates’ performance until the very last scene. She is a friend like that. A friend who thinks that it is only natural to take care of the people around her. Her personality has been like that for the 10 years I’ve known her. She rarely talks about T-ara’s things, and how this incident happened, I’m shocked too. Although I’ve looked it up, even like that, this whole time I’ve always seen her as family, so I feel very sad and heartbroken. You seems to be very tired and burdened now, please stay strong. I pray that as time goes by, everything will be fine. I love you, little sister.

Hwayoung and T-ara cry. Meeting each other every day, but today was different.
According to Core Contents Media, last night on July 31st, Hwayoung and her twin sister Hyoyoung came to Core Contents Media's office is Gangnam, Seoul to meet with Kim Kwangsoo.
Through a phone interview with Star News in the morning, Kim Kwangsoo admitted to meeting with Hwayoung and Hyoyoung.
He said, "I was surprised that Hwayoung came to the company last night, but we have already talked. After apologizing to the other members, staff, and fans and apologizing for breaking her promise and reflecting on her actions, Hwayoung burst in tears."
Followed by, "It broke my heart seeing Hwayoung cry. Seeing Hwayoung cry, I realized her heart has not had a break [from aching]."
CEO Kwangsoo said he first met with the T-ara members before Hwayoung came to the office. "The T-ara members also are saddened and shed tears over this incident," he said.
"The writings T-ara and Hwayoung wrote on Twitter without any meaning behind them have all caused a ripple effect. I talked frankly to all of them yesterday, and each of them shed tears," he also said.
"I hope the fans can give their love and keep watching T-ara and Hwayoung rather than posts on the Internet."
Kim Kwangsoo terminated Hwayoung's contract, but then quickly said there was a possibility to re-join.

After Hwayoung left T-ara, the group has suffered and will now stop activities for the time being.
Tomorrow (August 1st) T-ara will perform at the SBS "Yeosu Expo Super Concert" which will be their last performance/schedule for a while.
T-ara's agency said on the 31st, "In order to prepare for their follow-up song, they will not engage in any schedules at this time. It's not a suspension of activities, but more that we haven't specifically determined (schedules) yet."
T-ara had schedules lined up, but they've canceled and haven't been seen in public instead. T-ara member Eunjung initially was supposed to attend the VIP premiere of the movie "I Am A King" yesterday but she absent from the premiere.
Core Contents Media made an announcement to terminate Hwayoung's contract with T-ara because she acted like a "top star" and had behavior problems on the 30th and since then there has been backlash after backlash.

Girl group T-ara's recent "bullying situation" has blown up online, and SBS drama "Five Fingers" which Eunjung is cast in has responded.
"Five Fingers" content producer said to Star News on the 30th, "Currently, Eunjung's appearance in 'Five Fingers' and everything related to it is staying the same. Because of the changes happening in T-ara, it is not relevant or directly related to Eunjung's role in the drama."
He continued, "We hope that viewers can separate the personal matters and differences going on between the members and separate it from the content and appearance of Eunjung in 'Five Fingers'. Such problems are about T-ara and currently there are no problems with Eunjung."
Eunjung will star in "Five Fingers" which will have it's first broadcast in August.
Meanwhile, T-ara's agency Core Contents Media revealed that Hwayoung's contract had been terminated today, and that it "had nothing to do with the bullying situation."

boramfan reacted to nkdi2211 in [DISC] Facts or Speculation regarding T-ara's Crisis
    Speculations =/= Facts

As the time I wrote this, every new articles bring T-ara closer to death. Every time I saw news,I saw the Death scythe hanging at T-ara and CCM ‘s necks. As a hardcore Queen’s, it tramples my heart, it’s killing me. Now, Queen’s are separated and some became Anti-T-ara. I wrote this article hope to look at the whole situation with an objective voice.
I believe the facts: Hwayoung is dislike her current position (speculated that She is bullied), T-ara members tweeted ambiguously, Hwayoung is leaving T-ara, (supposed KKS force a bad image for Hwayoung). At the end of it all, KKS didn’t help at all; he just made the matter worse.
As a big fan of T-7 , I can’t really take side. Both of them have holes in their reasoning; there is not enough concrete evidence with trust worthy source. But now, Hwayoung is the winning side.
The supposed-evidences are that T-6, (except Qri) had bullied Hwayoung since a long time ago.
In my opinions, those evidences are just made believe. If they were genuine, Netizen would notice the bullying problem sooner. Now, people just name every little Teasing toward Hwayoung as
“Bullying”. Occasional teasing is not bullying, especially when Kpop showbiz revolve around teasing each other. All 6 of them teased each other too, not only toward Hwayoung.
And if they are really bullying Hwayoung, that mean they must be an actor every seconds around her onscreen. With that said, it’s impossible to be actors all the time. Even with editing, it’s not likely to catch all of the awkwardness.
Not only so, Hwayoung would be really afraid of T-6, but on screen, Hwayoung seem really happy and carefree around others members, Do Hwayoung is all fake too? All the time Hwayoung initiate a conversation with Hyomin, joking with Boram , winks at Soyeon or feed Eun Jung apple in Pretty Boys. She even let Hyomin and EJ put on her shoes in the solo concert Cinderella-style. One who is afraid or hateful of others wouldn’t act so carefree and innocent.
With T-6, they have no supporting evidence, except KKS statements and supposedly 19 staff members that dislike Hwayoung’s immaturity. With poor crisis management skill, they just make the matter worse, for them.
In my opinion, the only two who can really act into different personalities are Eun Jung and Jiyeon. They are talented, and that talent doesn’t help in this situation. Having the talent and knowledge doesn’t mean that they had used it, or should use it against others.
I can’t take side in this problem.
I believe that Hwayoung and T-6 is having discord among themselves only recently. They seem so close to each other just before Star Life Theater.
I think both of them are wrong. First, they bring their internal dispute to the public. They forgot that their actions not only affect themselves, but also the company and the whole team behind T-ara( including makeup artists, hair stylists.etc) . KKS is also wrong for changing the situation into the worst case scenario.
I don’t dare to say the worse side. It may just a quick impulse of the members while they are in stress.
People are easily influenced when they are unsure, the gossip started and spread wider.
The matter is undecided, and we may never know about the truth. But one thing for sure, T-ara and CCM took a huge blow to their name. The only way that could ease the public is that Hwayoung publicly apologizes. Even if T-ara did bully her, they and CCM should have beg, kowtow, or lick Hwayoung’s shoes to make she do it to save them. Did this, Hwayoung career as an entertainer would suffered as well. People won’t put much trust toward a member who single handedly destroyed her group and her company. People will get cold feet after the sympathized toward Hwayoung died down.
As I remembered, T-6 have much more to lose than Hwayoung. Eun Jung’s hard work from when she still a kid , Jiyeon’s working till collapse, Hyomin with 5+ years in training and highly talented, Boram with her parents’ reputations on top of her own, Soyeon childhood dreams and the trauma of failing, All of them will go down the drain if this continue. The only one that is least effected is Qri, but she will still lose her job when T-ara go down together.
Please don’t take it too hard toward all 7 members of T-ara, and even the two new members Ahreum and Dani when you quit being Queen’s. Please remember the happy memories T-ara gave us. It has been nice all these time together with you.
    A Queen’s forever.

At what point are the girls going to take it upon themselves to attempt to address this issue at the face of their apparent downfall? Their moral character is being called into question. Although it's possible that KKS is telling them not to speak on this issue, KKS cannot save them as he has already shown that all he can do is make a situation worse. At this point, they need to do what they have to to save themselves. Not only are they being judged based on his stupidity, but people are looking at how they're handling this situation as individuals. This situation should have been nipped in the bud when this issue first arose. Sitting back and saying nothing and allowing people to speculate without ever trying to prove their innocence makes them look guilty. If they want people to give them a chance and to look at this situation objectively, they have to express their side of the story regarding the tweets. How long do you expect for people not to draw their own conclusions if days have passed without any explanation released specifically from them? And the longer this goes on, the worse it's going to get. Even if they can't regain all of the fans they've lost or if many people don't believe them, they at least owe their fans who are sticking next to them an explanation instead of leaving them in the dark. Regardless, this a big mess and although I wish them the best, I don't know how they're going to come back from this, especially if they continue to stay silent. Hopefully, they'll release a statement soon but honestly, that should have been done today if not when the bullying allegations first came out.

I am trying REALLY REALLY REALLY hard not to post any comments and speculations about this matter before the "truth" which will be revealed tomorrow but I just can't.
I found it amusing how most of you are so analytical here. Whatever small trivial matters were even brought up i.e how Jiyeon didn't "interact" with Hwayoung when she was playing bowling and how she "insulted" Hwayoung when Hwayoung was reading a book in Star Life Theater. Oh, you guys forgot that Jiyeon called Hwayoung "Babo" in Pretty Boys Ep 10. I am sorry but I find all these to be normal for friends. Don't you have any friends who will ignore you when you talk too much or call you stupid when you are acting as one? Well, maybe all these normal situations don't apply to IDOLS who are deemed and portrayed to be PERFECT FLAWLESS GODDESS?
Anyway, I don't deny the fact that Hwayoung may seem to be not very close with the original T-ara and often seen to be isolated. But isn't it normal? Let's say in a group of friends, you have known A for 10 years and B for 5 years. A and B are still your friends but sometimes it's human behavior to lean towards people who have been through thick and thin with you and people who understand you very very well. That's EunJiMin for me. And when someone enters your "circle" (Hwayoung), of course you will find it hard to adjust initially but after all those years of being together, I am sure there will be a certain bond even if it's not that strong compared to the first few friends.
You guys forgot that Hyomin hugged Hwayoung for countless number of times, Jiyeon fed Hwayoung in Pretty Boys, Hwayoung hugged Jiyeon during One Million Quiz Show and Hwayoung danced in front of Jiyeon and finally hugged her during their fan club opening ceremony. I am sorry that I can only quote certain examples cause I don't normally follow all the "couplets" but you don't need to cause I am sure all of us or maybe most of us know and acknowledge all these interactions. If they are indeed faking all these moments, oh well T-ara deserves the Grammy Awards for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress. What I want to say is some of you are digging those moments when EunJiMin were not interacting with Hwayoung but you guys neglect those moments when EunJiMin were having fun with Hwayoung.
I seriously have no idea how this topic of bullying came in and some of you are so quick in making judgement on EunJiMin and Hwayoung. I don't deny the fact that SOMETHING is going on but Hey, nothing is confirmed, yet. Call me delusional but before anything is confirmed, I wouldn't dare to mention anything like, "Hwayoung should be blamed" or "EunJiMin are just fake b!tches" or "Soyeon and Boram should have kept their mouth shut" because I am not in their shoes, I will never ever know the true situation and WHO AM I to judge them? As a fan? If you are disappointed in them, then stop being a fan and go find someone else to idolize.
Really had a fun time spazzing about the announcement on the 30th in the shoutbox yesterday. So by thinking positively, tomorrow's announcement will be either KKS announcing his marriage with Qri (ewww ...) or Boram/Qri/Soyeon getting married or Ji and Hwa doing a subunit or Queen Ice Qri as our new leader (YAY!!).
Everyone should just chillax. Drink a cup of coffee and PEACE.
EDIT : Happy 3rd Anniversary to T-ara !! May the years get longer.

Honestly, I'm not really thrilled with anybody right now, save for Qri and Areum, who wisely decided to sit this one out. Eunjung, Jiyeon and Hyomin should've known better than to make comments that could've been taken out of context on a social networking site like Twitter, Boram and Soyeon should've taken the mature route and not said anything at all (especially since they went ahead and deleted their tweets anyways), and Hwayoung shouldn't have added fuel to the fire by calling for a bid for public sympathy. None of them are impressing me right now, their behavior is reminiscent of twelve-year-old girls, so maybe Dani's inclusion shouldn't be such a shock anymore since their mentality is probably closer to her than we thought. And before anybody says anything, I still love them and will continue supporting them, but this whole ordeal is just ridiculous.
Anyways, back on topic...I agree that maybe this is all a blessing in disguise. As I sat last night thinking about everything, the one thing that kept crossing my mind is how when idols get involved in scandals too big to be swept under the rug, they are usually put on an extended hiatus to let things cool down. If ever there was a time that such an action was appropriate, it's now. Day By Day showed us that T-ara has enough power to their name that they can withstand some controversy, what with the member changes and everything, but for KKS to keep them on track for two or more comebacks for this year alone isn't going to help matters. Sexy Love/Mirage and T-ara's Effect need to be put on the backburner until next year, and these 8 (maybe soon to be 9, who knows at this point) need to sit down, have a pow-wow, sing a couple of bars of Kumbaya, and GROW UP. All of them.
As far as a member leaving goes, I've heard some interesting theories about Hwayoung...that she's actually been rumored to want to leave for some time, and that the member's tweets are actually in reply to her deciding that she's going to leave, and them questioning her level of dedication to the group. If that IS the case, I can somehow understand their frustration with her, but even then all of this Twitter mess is just driving me crazy. It's not that they had problems with each other, that's understandable, it's that all of their dirty laundry is being aired out in public, and they're the ones who seem to be responsible.
Sorry, I'm just venting right now. I guess it's all of my frustrations over the past few months finally coming out all at once. I still love T-ara and hope for the best for them and will continue to support them, but I seriously hope they get put on an extended break, both for their sake and for the fan's sake. It's just not fair to keep f*cking with the fandom like this.
EDIT: I was so busy ranting that I forgot to say apology accepted lol. But yeah, we're good, if there's anything good that's come out of this mess it's that I've realized that it's time for me to wake up. T-ara had a good run but they're just as fallible and prone to error as anyone else; time to be realistic about their current situation. You're absolutely right about one thing; Queen's need to brace themselves, the proverbial sh!t is about to hit the fan.

having been a group with hwayoung for a year or so, i doubt they had this kind of conflict for the first time. it's just, it's the first time members brought it up to public. while these members' tweets seems kinda unwise, it gave them publicity (bad publicity is kinda better than no publicity at all, ha) and kinda *slap* kks on his face so now kks will take this internal members issue more seriously. hopefully, he won't trolling us with the big announcement later. i'm still annoyed with his statement about "lazy members" when it's clear to everyone that these girls are overworked.

Personally, I would be really happy if they announce that Dani won't join T-ara anymore and not about removal of members, reprimanding the girls and shaming them publicly, again.
Just read the AKP article about the tweets. Antis and bashers are having a feast in there, but since no one really knows what happens off stage and off cam, no one is in any position to pass judgment on the girls.

If we only read all of T-ara's members tweets,it does seems like nothing serious and they were just talking to each other like always. However, what does make me worry it that:
1:Hyoyoung tweeted something about what's the use of having a pretty face when you're not on the inside? It's obvious she's describing someone from T-ara.I'm sure she won't say that to KKS.
2:Tarae,Hyoyoung's rap coach (and Hwayoung's too,if I'm not mistaken) said something like "They are big headed now. They forgot that they used to be a nobody..."
3:Hyoyoung also tweet about people should treat a person fairly and and s(he) is sick, treat them as a person.
4:Boram stop following her on Twitter and like crabmeatrangoon said,a few of Hwayoung's pictures on their twitter had been deleted.
5:Soyeon deleted her tweet about the whole determination thing. She must has realised that thing got worse and as a leader she should step aside.
And yes, rather than tweeting a new post,Hwayoung should has stay low.Now thing got worse and worse.
If you put two and two together,it does seems like the 6-ara and Hwayoung have something going on between them- and it's serious.

You're right, Boram never did follow Hwayoung to begin with. Most people just automatically assumed that she followed her because they were members of the same group, lol.
Honestly, this situation has become nothing short of frustrating to watch unfold. The ambiguity of it all is what's driving me crazy.
To begin with, I don't know what to make of the five who originally started the Twit convo in the first place. When it was just the five of them it seemed like a relatively innocent conversation, nothing horrible or out of the ordinary...they just sounded like they were trying to give someone a pep talk. Then Hwayoung and Hyoyoung chimed in, then Hwayoung's rap teacher, and that's where it all went to hell in a handbasket. If the five of them were guilty of bullying (and reading their messages I still have a hard time seeing it) they need to face the music and stop acting like children. I understand they're all tired and on edge, but now is NOT the time to be sniping at each other, regardless of the circumstances.
And this might get me flamed but I don't care, Hwayoung should've known better than to stir the pot by continuing to tweet those additional messages in a bid to gain public sympathy. She's only made this one hundred times worse than it already is, so I hold her just as accountable as I do the members who allegedly bullied her. They're all acting ridiculously immature, which is sad considering the majority of them are in their twenties and should be acting like adults. At any rate, ALL of them are old enough to know better.
If they have problems or issues, that's fine. They obviously need some help sorting everything out. But to go about handling their issues like this is downright stupid, I'm quite disappointed in everyone who took part. Good on Areum and Qri for being adults and staying out of what is obviously a VERY messy situation.

If T-ara had stayed a 6 members group, none of this would have ever happened and the bond between the members (without this competition thing) would have never ceased to increase.
Who's the one responsible of the crazy schedule, the concepts, the lines distribution, the new members addition, in short, responsible of everything ? Not Hyomin, not Jiyeon, not Eunjung etc. but KKS.
