[12.07.19] T-ara's Eunjung, "We want to enjoy the stage without the pressure of being #1" Girl group T-ara’s “Lovey-Dovey” is the #1 song downloaded for the first half of 2012. “The pressure to get new #1 songs is there now, but we enjoy making the song come alive every stage,” T-ara said. Gaon recently released their chart rankings for the first half of 2012 and T-ara’s “Lovey-Dovey” was downloaded over 3.33 million times, making it #1. OSEN was able to interview T-ara’s Eunjung over the phone. In a phone interview with a reporter, Eunjung said, “I just heard the news. It’s really unexpected and hard to believe that we were able to be ranked number one when there were a lot of senior groups who promoted too, but I’m really happy.” “I want to tell the rest of the members soon. Everyone will like this news. We’re working hard promoting our current song ‘Day by Day’ so this will be really encouraging to us,” Eunjung said. T-ara’s “Roly-Poly” was the #1 song of last year on the same chart. When asked what T-ara’s secret to getting popular hit songs, Eunjung said it’s “variety.” “We have our own color despite taking on the challenge of doing a variety of different genres,” Eunjung expressed. “Our strength is that our music and the feeling when watching us on stage is different than normal. For example, “Lovey-Dovey” had a fun and colorful shuffle dance which became popular and helped us gain more love.” T-ara plan to continue with their popular hook songs “Bo Peep Bo Peep”, “Roly-Poly” and “Lovey-Dovey” in the 2nd half of the year. The pressure to get another #1 is very clear for them. Eunjung said, “It’s a burden where we rank on song charts. I think it’d be nice to have every song be #1 (laughs), but getting rid of our greed, I want to enjoy and have fun on stage. For our current song ‘Day by Day’, T-ara is showing our existing image but fans can expect a new image for our new song. [12.07.18] T-ara's first solo concert almost sold out, "No plans for another show" Girl group T-ara will hold their first solo concert in Korea on August 11th at the Jamsil Gymnasium. T-ara's first solo concert tickets went on sale yesterday (the 17th) and in about 20 minutes, the majority of seats including all the standing seats were sold out. There are only 600 seats not yet sold. Core Contents Media expects the remaining seats to be sold out soon. T-ara's Japanese fanclub made a request to reserve all 600 seats, but T-ara's agency responded with, "We want every fan to have an equal chance" and restated that the tickets are sold through Interpark on a "first come, first serve" basis only. The staff and promoters for T-ara's concert strongly pushed to add another date but the T-ara members declined the offer and said, "We want our first Korean concert to be a special performance for fans that will hold a lot of memories." I think all of us are eagerly waiting for Sexy Love, I know for sure I am and Eunjung's high note! I am sure it will be a hit. I already love hearing the little preview we hear so far!

They stopped the rhyming for the title of the song .... From Bo Peep Bo Peep, Yayaya, Roly Poly, Cry Cry, Lovey Dovey and Day by Day, why didn't they name the new song Sexy Sexy instead. (not that I'm complaining about Sexy Love though) So Justin TImberlake claimed that he's bringing sexy back, Super Junior told their fans that they are still Sexy, Free and Single and now T-ara are saying that they need some Sexy Love from their fans and they will in return provide some Sexy Love back to their fans with some hot pantomime dance?? I'm so ready.

I hope the choreo is gonna be awesome plz!!!! i hope one day Kyle Hanagami will do T-ara's choreography. he is the best and i kinda wanna see Jiyeon's popnlock/bboy skillz ^^ We need to see her talent.

Yes, it's difficult not to feel pressured to (consistently) release #1 hits. And yet, for T-ara to remain grounded despite the success, it's just heartwarming. I still recall the vids where they cried when BPBP became #1 to the point of not able to do the encore; or LD where they knelt & bowed. You can see both the effort they put into their work, and grateful for the love & support. Let's continue to support them. Show the girls of T-ara we (the fans) match their dedication & hardwork with our undying love, support, & enthusiasm for them. And boy, can't I wait for Sexy Love (return of the robot!). T-ARA FIGHTING.

While they don't want to be pressured themselves on becoming #1 (unattainable at best currently due to SNSD's massive popularity still overshining the rest out there), the same certainly cannot be said about that knockhead of a CEO of theirs.

Thanks for the vids! I watched Ep 103 and so happy to see the preview for next episode at the end. I'm sooooooo excited for this! I'm sure all the 7 idols had lots of fun doing the show. They're all pretty competitive. I see Eunjung's got her chingus there. Siwan, Lee Joon and Nickhun are all born in 1988 as well. I love Eunjung and Nickhun! Talk about body language, they seem to have loads of chemistry there. Or maybe I'm just biased cause I love the 2 of them together. I love Running Man but I always watch it only after the subs come out.. will definitely watch raw for this on sunday. Can't wait!

We should support her. What's done cannot be undone anyway. And the girls have accepted her and Jiyeon and Hyomin seems quite close to her. (From what I saw in the video anyway.) And she seems to be a nice kid. I'm sure her and Areum will slowly grow on us like Hwayoung did.
