At first I thought I came too late to see her but it wasn’t like that. When Hyomin came here, there were around 2-3 Hong Kong Queen’s, Hyominidot fanclub, and including me. I walked towards to give her some gifts and told her I’m a Thai Queen’s. She looked so excited and said something just like she knew there were a lot of int fans coming to Korea for the already cancelled concert and felt appreciated. Then she started to cry and all of us also cried too. Hyomin took her hankerchief out and wiped the tears from my face as well as gave me a hug. At that moment,I didn’t know what to say anymore, just keep saying pls be strong, everything will be better, fighting! Credit @T_araTH

English trans of Director Cha Euntaek's tweet @goninri hyotheleader: Young kids, what capital crime did they commit that they are being mistreated like this by society…to be in pain and yet be unable to say that they are in pain, to be tired and yet be unable to say that they are tired, what is the truth? Then what is important, to live like this? Since when did our society’s subject and focus of discussion and blame became like this… Original Chinese trans by Baidu Ham Eunjung

  5. No matter how I look, I only saw netizens bullying T-ara. Without evidence, netizens scold them, hate them and curse them. I really want to ask the haters if hating them, scolding them, cursing them simply because of rumours justifiable? Whatever on Earth are they thinking about? No matter how i see it, it's cyber bullying taken to an extreme (overboard) level. If they really bully Hwayoung, those haters are definitely behaving much worst than them. Shouldn't they be scolding themselves and having some serious self-reflection? When haters always said "we don't know them in real life, so how can we fans sure they are nice?" Well, ironically, haters don't seem to know them too... (Anyways, there isn't bullying in the first place -.-" wherever that even arise from. Must be some silly conclusions fabricated by haters) I believe everything was blown out of proportion due to small misunderstandings, communication breakdowns that has taken place. Nobody, especially the girls, would have imagined all these to have happened. And it happened too fast, too furious, wiping everyone off their feet. This incident rocked the entire K-entertainment industry. It simply shows the industry how vicious and malicious Internet can be. And poor T-ara are the ones taking the wrath of everything that has happened. We all know they don't deserve all these treatments they are having right now. But changing the world, changing people's mindset is not easy. It's humans that complicates things in life, all the time, unfortunately.

  6. Minnie unni, T.T I'am happy to have finally seen her after a long time. But it pains me more to see her in this state. I miss her happy and dorky self. Her funny antics and smile. Seeing her at the verge of crying, made me want to beat that reporter. I know that these reporters have thrown away their feelings of sympathy in order to get the information they want, but still, aren't they human enough to still feel a little bit of sympathy to at least give her the time to momentarily forget the painful event that is happening to her and the other members and Hwayoung. This is a press conference for her drama, a drama which she was happy to be part of, not about the so called "bullying controversy". They should've at least respected that. unni, it's enough for us Queen's to see you brave enough to step out in public, despite everything. You have already made us fans happy. Please be strong, although this step is the most difficult, I know you can overcome this. We are always here to support you and the girls. So please don't feel discouraged, because there are still a lot of us Queen's who are waiting for you and T-ara with open arms. I'am anticipating her drama and T-ara's comeback. Let's show our girls that the bond between T-ara and Queen's can never be severed by any obstacle/challenge that is thrown at us. Hyomin unni fighting! T-ara fighting!

  7. Hrmm.. I feel sorry for Hyomin, and the rest of T-ara. As soon as they come out to the public then they will probably get harassed by reporters without end. I feel that it's immature on the reporters' end of things seeing as Hyomin is most likely very stressed out right now. The last thing she needs is people reminding her about a painful event. Also, very unprofessional seeing that this is a press conference FOR A DRAMA, not a "Hyomin interview about Hwayoung and recent controversies."

  10. This is definitely not your fault. This is the exact example how bad translations can lead to misunderstanding..a seed to a bigger problem. With that little comment about Hwayoung in there, it makes jiyeon's mom looks like a bad person...which results in more bashing on t-ara.

  11. ah, i thought the very word came from Jiyeon's mom and it was a one liner altogether. my bad.

  12. lol i think u misunderstanding here....jiyeon mom only said until t-ara member panic....Jiyeon’s Mom interview she said that jiyeon didn”t want to talk, close herself in the room and each members are in panic now and person who said this( somebody(mean hwayoung) went to Infinite concert) is t-ara fan. jiyeon mom didn't say anything about hwayoung...so calm down man..

  13. Despite criticism of some people.. I really applaud Hyomin for not taking the reporter's bait. I bet she is just dying to be able to finally defend herself and scream out her side of the story. However, the interview was not about Hyomin & T-ara, it was about the drama. It won't be fair to the other cast and crew members for her to take all of the spotlight.. If Hyomin even open up a bit and gave a short sound byte acknowledging the question then she would've open up a floodgate of follow-up questions which will derail the whole press conference.. I also would also just like to thank Min Young & the others who once again provided us with more info beyond the press.. you guys rock..

  16. So who knows, maybe they should have an issue-specific appearance? I don't know, I'm pretty short on answers, but given Mr. Kim's whirlwind of activity at the beginning of the month, he's coming off as somewhat complacent given that the commentary over anything T-ara is still ongoing. But I guess it's not his uh, tookus on the line right now, and since that flare-up early this year I've been of the opinion that Mr. Kim's willing to leave T-ara to the wolves, whether they're making bank or not - that is, he's only going to take an active interest in their welfare if the company's on the line, otherwise he'll just let things go as they go. Anyway, can you imagine T-ara going on stage before people are ready to stomach seeing them again? I mean, if you're another masochist who reads the comments on akp articles, at the very least it's clear that there's still a lot of people who, like, are disgusted with T-ara right now - and not for fandom reasons, but for supposed moral reasons (so they tell themselves). We're already half-way through August, that means Mr. Kim is hoping that the audiences will fritter away their negativity in under two weeks? Maybe, maybe if nothing appears in the news about them in that time, people would run out of things to talk about, if there were nothing to remind the haters of how they feel about T-ara in that time, maybe, by the slimmest of margins one could expect that T-ara could be greeted by at least a lukewarm reception by the non-fans (neutrals and worse). But we've still got Eunjung's press conference coming, which, again, will remind everyone what they think of the whole situation, and that'll at least flare things up for a few days - so if Eunjung appears later this week, it'll keep T-ara in people's minds for at least the weekend, and then there'd be just one week of (maybe) no specific T-ara news before they release. But then, they'd need to drum up the usual press announcements regarding the release, so no, there wouldn't be that one week of buffer time to let people forget more or less what they think of T-ara. And that besides, three of them will frequently be plastered on tv screens in their respective roles, those shows will be advertised in commercials and billboards and whatever, serving as another constant reminder of what's been going on. And if they're talking full-on comeback, that means stage performances? In front of crowds that haven't yet gotten over the whole thing? I mean, the Queens, the fans, whatever, unless they come out in force and buy every ticket to those performances (or whatever - I mean fill every seat), there's gonna be a lot of people there who won't approve of seeing T-ara. It's something of a distant memory now, but anyone remember the "black ocean" SNSD stuff? And that was just over petty jealousy - the T-ara haters think they have a moral mandate to hate on these girls. I seem to remember fights breaking out back then in the SNSD thing, and really, if you, as a fan of T-ara were standing in the crowd at one of those performance shows and other crowds of people were booing T-ara or whatever, shouting hate slogans and what-not, I mean, what would you do? And given what's been going on already, I imagine the haters won't take too kindly to anyone cheering for T-ara either. And not to paint too clear a picture, but the girls will be standing on stage, what will they see and hear and what will they think and feel? Madness! I hate just thinking about all this stuff and finding new reasons to, like, just hate Mr. Kim, but so far I don't think I've seen him back down from any of the cockamamie schemes he's announced to the press. There's no need to test the waters - it should be abundantly clear where the populace as a whole stands on the T-ara issue. I can still imagine sales being at least manageable, but it would be straight up torture to throw the girls on stage like this. Again, those stages on Inkigayo and Music Bank and whatever else, those aren't T-ara events, there won't just be T-ara fans there, like at a concert of theirs. Like, vaya con Dios, T-ara and the fans, especially the ones in Korea, you'll see and probably do things that'll surprise you. I don't know, maybe it would be possible to somehow flood the studios, like recruit neutral friends of yours (if there are any), people who normally wouldn't go, and have them agree to cheer T-ara on or just not to cheer against them? Sounds like an unlikely plan, but short of locking down the place I'm low on ideas as to how to keep things from getting ugly. I don't know, does anyone here have connections with the fandom in Korea? Because those fans will really need to, like, that is if they aren't already, they need to brainstorm, or just be ready.

  17. Did they even realize that this press conference was just for her as an actress? The "bullying" scandal has nothing to do with Hyomin the actress but as the whole T-ara.

  18. Looking at how she's trying so hard to put on a smile, pretending to be okay, and holding back her tears...it is hard to think any of these girls are bad people. All these hating is uncalled for! Haters need to get a reality check that these girls are not god..they are as imperfect as any regular human should be and are only working hard to achieve their dreams..like the rest of us. What I've learn in life is that you can never make people think the way you do...so haters will continue to hate and lovers should keep on loving and supporting..the least we all can do..and these girls just have to learn how to ignore, move on, and keep loving life. This world is not really black and white..it is simply gray...in a situation like this, every party is right and wrong in some respect - hwayoung, t-ara, the ceo, the public, ect. Therefore, to put blame on any single party is not the right thing to do. And as a reporter who is that desperate to ask a question like that...at least have some courtesy to ask it when it's only t-ara themselves..don't ruin a press conf for a drama asking a unrelated question putting everyone into an awkward and uncomfortable position...everyone, not just hyomin was so uncomfortable at that press conf.

  19. I saw this on my way home but never get a chance to comment about it. Finally ... Seeing Hyomin broke down this easily means that they're very weak right now. They're trying to hide how sad they were while smiling in front of the camera. That's really heart-breaking to see Hyomin, who always smiles and plays around, became like this. I'm going to support them anyway I can now. I want them to smile again and be happy.

  20. Don't pay heed to those "people", I have tried like you to reason with them but they are already decided. One I spoke too knew only of what he saw in "the animated gifs" saying that was proof enough, I looked at his history/playlist on youtube (that's where this took place) and he only had 2-3 videos of T-ara out of 150 various Kpop related things. These people who hate on T-ara they don't actually know anything, they haven't followed them, haven't taken any true interest in them that isn't skin deep or superficial. We must ignore these people, they care only for their own truth and bypass all of human decency and due process. I haven't much I can contribute the whole thing but there is a story from a buddha I wish T-ara could take comfort in. One day, Akkosaka heard that someone from his religion had converted to be a Buddhist monk. Enraged, he stomped off to curse the Enlightened One with harsh words in person. After letting off his steam, the Buddha had a calm conversation with him (as abridged) - 'Do friends come to you as guests?' 'Yes.' 'Do you serve them delicacies?' 'Yes, sometimes I do.' 'If they don't accept them, to whom do they belong?' 'They would be mine.' 'Likewise, that with which you have insulted me, I do not accept - it is all yours. Whoever returns insult to one who insults is said to be sharing company with that person, which I do not.' Hearing this, Akkosaka assumed he was displeased, to which the Buddha replied, 'Where is anger from one free of anger, who has his mind tamed and equanimous, who is liberated with right understanding, who is tranquil? One worsens matters by flaring up at another who flared up. Whoever doesn't flare up at another doubly wins a battle difficult to win, benefitting oneself and the another. Understanding another's anger, one mindfully maintains one's peace. When one does so to heal the illness of anger for both, those who think one is a fool do not know the Dharma.' Hearing this, Akkosaka remarked at the magnificence of the Buddha's teaching, and ordained as a monk to learn from him, thereafer attaining Nirvana (as an Arahant)! Akkosa Sutta Members of T-ara, do not accept their words, leave them with the naysayers and be at peace.

  27. I feel bad for her, she desperately wants to return to work in what ever way she can but the uncertain state of T-ara could leave her feeling like all her options are closing off. She really is fighting right now. and the Haeundae Lovers crew should take this situation into account and rewrite the script to let her come back when she's recovered, Hwayoung, I hope you're not turning your head to this whole situation.

  30. Please, Soyeon! Focus on getting better! I'm worried about you!

  31. It's not just Soyeon hurting, it's T-ara. Within the past few weeks, we had one member terminated from the group, the remaining members torched by media and management, members risking their individual activities [EunSoHyo and their dramas], one member in a serious car accident and lost a decent percent of fans and the rest confused and frustrated. As someone who's more familiar with western music culture, an artist going on hiatus for months, years, even decade+ isn't so strange to me. So when the term "comeback" is used in Kpop for groups who released an album a few months before, I found that to be extremely ridiculous. With that being said now would be the time for T-ara to just ghost for a few months, maybe even a year. They need the break and management can use the time to reevaluate things for the better. Though it's nice, we don't need T-ara on stage 24/7. Us fan won't go anywhere or forget them. I originally posted this somewhere else, but found it more suited for this thread. However when I deleted the original post, I forgot to copy the message lol. I think I covered most of it.

  32. I´m worried for them and most of all for Eunjung, her mother said she has lost weight, can´´t sleep well and is tired. Bully netizens are the only here who MUST give an apology, the only proved bullyng is from netizens to T-ara. they claimed to hate bully, but they enjoy doing it to T-ara. this girls are young, i don´t want to even imagine if one of the members become ill or do something stupid because of this rumours and some netizens (NOT FANS even if they say the were fans) say rude things to them, behind an anonymus name, everybody is very brave when is anonymus and know nobody is going to make them reponsible for their actions. shame of people, because T-ARA IS AND WILL STILL BE HERE NOW AND IN FUTURE, but they are cowards and have no lives.
