  1. [13.05.13] T-ara N4's first meeting with Chris Brown.. "All smiles" Girl group T-ara's unit T-ara N4 and worldwide hip-hop star Chris Brown had their first meeting. On the 13th, according to Core Contents Media, after arriving to the LA airport on the 12th (local time), Chris Brown's 18 bodyguards escorted T-ara N4 to his location. T-ara N4 had their first meeting with Chris Brown on the set of his MV filming. At the sight of the T-ara N4 members, Chris Brown welcomed them with smiles and said "I wanted to meet you guys." T-ara N4 members said to Chris Brown, "Thank you for liking our 'Rural Life' music and inviting us to the United States with the hospitable treatment of limousines and bodyguards." Core Contents Media said, "T-ara N4 will meet with numerous American artists including Chris Brown, and during their stay in America they'll meet with various music officials before returning on the 16th or 17th to Korea." *** Source: http://news.nate.com/view/20130513n14431 Translated by: Nathaniel @ Diadem

  2. [13.05.13] T-ara arrive in LA to meet with Chris Brown, greeted by 300 fans T-ara N4 were grateful for all the fans who gathered at the airport to greet them in the USA. T-ara N4 arrived at the Los Angeles International Airport on the 12th at 10:15 (local time). They were warmly welcomed to the USA for the first time by a swarm of around 300 people. T-ara N4 said, "We were tired and confused, but then became so surprised." Ahead of their visit, T-ara N4 received a love call from Chris Brown where he told them he was interested in their music and them being in their music video. Because of Chris Brown, T-ara make schedule readjustments so they could depart to LA. Chris Brown couldn't meet directly with T-ara N4 at the airport, so instead he sent five limos and 18 bodyguards. T-ara N4 will have a meeting with Chris Brown and officials on the 13th to talk about music. If possible, they will also proceed to take part in a collaboration with Chris Brown. T-ara N4 will have various other meetings until the 16th, and then return on the 17th. *** Source: http://news.nate.com/view/20130513n11546 Translated by: Nathaniel @ Diadem

  4. Does this mean, there is also possibility that N4 will be working with artists other than CB? I hope so. I would prefer it more. I wish them the best.

  7. First of all, SNSD has had a full-length English album in the works for a couple of years now. There's no telling when or if that album will ever be released, and even if they do release albums in the same year, it's an entirely different ball game in the states...you said so yourself. SNSD and T-ara will more or less be on the same playing field. And I don't care that two SNSD members speak English fluently, it's not going to really help them all THAT much. Secondly, making it in the American music industry is all about who you know and how much faith your contacts have in you...nobody gives a damn how big somebody was back in their home country, it won't do them any good when they're trying to promote in the states. That has absolutely no bearing whatsoever when it comes to making it stateside; YG, JYPE, or SME make chump change compared to what labels such as Island Def Jam, Interscope, Epic Records, or RCA can take home. They can't help their artists when trying to make a U.S. advancement. Very few artists make it on pure talent or charisma alone, they have somebody behind them, pulling strings and opening doors for them. As much as I loathe Chris Brown, it is absolutely undeniable that he is the biggest star to have possibly voiced his interest in a K-Pop act thus far...far more relevant than will.i.am, Snoop Dogg, Akon, or any of the other current stars who have mentioned a Korean idol act (if CCM's stories are to be believed). As far as what Chris Brown did...I admit that I loathe him with a passion, but I'm also discerning enough to know that PLENTY of U.S. artists have collaborated with him recently and been none the worse for it...Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, the list goes on. The U.S. music industry isn't really like Korea in that if you're seen with an unlikeable figure you're automatically blacklisted due to guilt by association; business is, ultimately, business. Furthermore, nobody in the U.S. is going to give two flying ***** about T-ara's bullying scandal. That ridiculous excuse for a hater orgy never would have exploded the way it did, I can guarantee you that. That's what's so bass-ackwards about Korea...they focus on a scandal full of unsubstantiated allegations, yet when it comes to something that probably would be incredibly sensationalized by U.S. media outlets, such as Nichkuhn's drunk driving accident, it almost goes by completely unnoticed...for a bullying controversy? I mean, come on. That xxxx would have been pegged exactly like it was...discord within the group. Nothing more, nothing less. Ultimately, at this point I don't think T-ara have anything to lose by focusing on activities outside of Korea. JWD's poor performance on the Korean charts show that Korea's just not ready to forgive them right now, if ever. I doubt this collaboration will interfere much with their Japanese activities, as so far nothing has even been confirmed. Instead of focusing on a plethora of possible negatives, let's just see how it plays out. Ultimately this could just be more media play on CCM's part, but it's REALLY important to take into consideration the fact that, if something does indeed happen for the group in the U.S., it's not even remotely similar to anything in Korea.

  10. Scatter, mate no offense to you at all but your post is so random and all over the place. Who said that if Big 3 couldnt make it then none other company stands a chance?? Given that, Big 3 has more chances of being successful than other agencies but still doesnt legit your statement that other agencies will fall-flat if they arent big 3, themselves.

  13. Omigosh! Dani was there too so 5 limos for each girl or 1 limo for the girls and some body guards and the rest of the limos for the bodyguards? Lol! Not trying to insult T-ARA or anything, but I would think 5 bodyguards would be a little too much. But, they're in America, you never know what to expect...

  14. Lol I assume that they did. Since honestly there was like... Less than 20 fans for sure, unless some were ninja and didn't show their excitement.

  15. From my own observations, I do believe KKS inflates his figures by a factor of ten. At least.

  18. More likely than not it's an exaggeration by CCM (we all know KKS loves to inflate his sales, fans and attendance numbers to the point of hilarity). Maybe someone from Brown's management knew Dani was part of this Kpop act, gave her a backstage pass to meet and take photos with Brown, and then Dani showed him the MV when they were having the short meet and greet.
