  1. I think you're taking it a bit too optimistically to think the girls have accepted her already. When it comes to Kpop, image perfection is a critical thing that agencies go through extensively to establish and this is just one of the many countless cases. They've been practically threatened to accept the whole decision unless they want to get kicked out so it's not like T-ara had a choice to begin with, unlike the fans and the public (although they probably still resent it a lot in the inside) Behind-the-scenes, it's entirely up to speculation for the most part. There's a reason why they're not dorming together, aside from spending what little spare time they have with their family.

  3. I don't think it will happen...Jiyeon will still be the visual and main dancer of T-ara..And forever maknae to us..her fans right.... ^^ Since Jiyeon have the most fans in T-ara..I think she will still get most attention in T-ara.... ^^ And from what I see.. Dani and Areum are not that talented (only my opinion..no offense to dani and areum..) ...Jiyeon is way better.....so..don't worry.... ^^

  4. I think the biggest question about the two new members would be is what can they contribute to the group that the others haven't. I mean yes ahreum is a good singer but from what ive listened the high notes part that was given to her, eunjung can do it. Its not that i'm dissing her or anything just that i guess expectations are a bit high because off the way she joined t-ara

  6. [12.07.14] T-ara's new member Areum, "I felt burdened and didn't want to damage the group by joining" T-ara's new member Areum has been catching the attention of the public recently. T-ara grabbed viewers' attention with their emotional stage on the 13th at KBS2 "Music Bank" and performed their new song "Day by Day". T-ara came back one week ago, but they already launched into third place on their first entry on the charts. Among the existing members was an eye-catching eighth member Areum who brought a soft and fresh voice to T-ara. T-ara's new member Areum met with reporters after successfully debuting with T-ara and said, "It doesn't feel real yet to me. I remember seeing them on TV and didn't know if I could blend in with them, but I'm very grateful that I had such good fortune." "Now that the first stage is over, I feel much more relaxed," she said. "In the beginning, it was difficult wearing heels but I continued to practice hard and then improved a lot in order to perform on stage." Bringing a new member into a group has the possibility or being a success or failure, so it's a high risk. It's the case for any "new recruit" members. Because of the group's already established name, the members can get popularity faster. However, after the group adjustment, there can pressure and burdens put on the group if they don't help contribute to a growing popularity and the pressure will be a challenge for the group. Areum said, "There was a big burden on me in fact. I thought that because T-ara is already a highly successful group, I was worried that maybe I could damage that. However, after debuting I felt like 'My unnies really do have a lot of experience.' I think I will be good if I simply just follow along with them." The part-time maknae Areum. The decision was made recently that a younger ninth member name Dani will join in October. The comparison between the two new members will be inevitable. When asked about this Areum said, "I don't pay attention to what's written about me. Me and Dani are two different people with different charms. Like Suzy, I want to be a representative from the '94 line in both acting and singing. Like a onion shedding it's layers, I want to show my charms one by one." *** Source: http://m.eto.co.kr/news/view.asp?Code=20120714150112207&tid=&sid= Translated by: Nathaniel @ Diadem

  8. I'm just glad that Hyomin and Jiyeon gave their support to Dani when she was on stage. (I am seriously very proud of Jiyeon. She looked like an unnie already). Seeing the original members helping Dani makes me think that if the members themselves are willing to accept the new members why can't the fans do the same. Yes, they might be acting and we wouldn't know what's going on behind the scenes but somehow the feeling I get from T-ara is "Okay, we're not too fond of the additions but Hey, there's nothing we can do about it so why don't we just accept the changes and work our a** harder". It might take a long time to get used to the new dynamics for both T-ara and also the fans but I have little doubt that as time passes, all of us will get used to it. I am still not too happy about the addition but there's nothing I can do. It's impossible for me to change anything no matter how much I hate it so I'm just going to accept that T-ara are going to be nine and enjoy the new T-ara. Looking at Day by Day alone, I am glad that T-ara are still doing their thing and are not too bothered in changing their style or image to suit the new members. *I can't bring myself to hate Dani too after looking at her on stage. Well, at least there's someone who understands English and can help me in translating if I am to meet T-ara. I bet she's going to rap in ENGLISH !!!

  10. And I think you're a bit too pessimistic to give a fair viewpoint on the situation. Long story short, some of the girls are by no means thrilled with the additions (we've already heard Eunjung give about as honest an answer as we'll ever get regarding her take on Dani and Areum's inclusion in Star Life Theater) but that doesn't mean all the girls hate them either. All anybody has to go on is what we see, and it looked like some of the members were trying to help Dani out while she was on stage and were trying to be supportive of her. She obviously doesn't know much Korean, they could've been rude and just let her sweat it out but Hyomin did her best to translate and Jiyeon tried to be supportive as well. After seeing Dani in this I can't hate on her. Maybe it's because I'm an adult and just can't find it in me to hate on a twelve year-old girl. She's going through that awkward, gangly phase of puberty and she looked nervous and scared. No, I still don't think she should be debuting any time soon, but it is what it is and I wish her the best, simply because she's going to need it. I don't think they plan on entering the U.S. market, but I do think they'll probably utilize her as a spokesperson for English-speaking markets and will probably try to do more activities overseas. It's becoming more and more obvious that KKS is trying to branch out beyond Korea with T-ara. I see them probably doing concerts and tours in other territories if their international popularity continues to grow.

  11. yeah..jiyeon is way more better than both of them she is a perfect maknae for t-ara no matter how many newcomers are added but it seems that jiyeon is quite nice to Dani, i think maybe jiyeon wants to be a good unnie just like how the others treat her when she is the maknae.. for me, it is really awkward to accept Dani as the new maknae, if only she is older, it will be better.. hope only good things will happen to them day by day.. jiyeon fighting!! t-ara fighting!!

  12. I found it amusing how the girls always mention about lowering the group's average age when talking about the new members. Jiyeon and Hyomin seems like dani's babysitter.

  16. Uhh..getting used to her is gonna take a while. "She's good at dancing and dropped T-ara's overall age, she's going to be a gem to T-ara" So, which part of that doesn't apply to Jiyeon? xD I still feel like shes an unnecessary addition >.>

  18. OMG! This is awesome!!!!! I noticed that with this comeback they are getting A LOT of new fans and international attention. T-ARA are finally going to go global! ^_____^ Translation: T-ara: The chameleon princesses of the South The feminine group will be 3 years old on July 29 since their debut in 2009. T-ara is a feminine group who arose almost 3 years ago in South Korea and was formed by the company Core Contents Media. Originally, they were a group of five members and they had been training for years. Before their debut, they converted into one of the most anticipated groups and were nicknamed the "super rookies". Before their official debut, they released their first song "Good Person". Also, two of the members announced their departure from the group due to differences in the style of music and the delay of their debut. Soon after, they were replaced by three new members. Finally, T-ara debuted on the show MBC Radio Star in July of 2009 and their first performance was on Mnet M! Countdown, where the performed their singles "Lies" and "Wanna Play?". In September, the group released "Time To Love", a collaboration with the boys of Supernova. On the first of December 2009, the girls released their first album, titled Absolute First Album. In February of 2010, the group announced that they would release a re-edit of their debut album, titled Breaking Heart. On the first of December, T-ara released their mini album Temptastic in digital format. The group celebrated their comeback stage on KBS Music Bank on the third of December and began the promotions with a new seventh member. For their return in June of 2011, the 7 girls of T-ara: Hwayoung, Soyeon, Qri, Jiyeon, Eunjung, Boram, and Hyomin came out with "Roly Poly", a song inspired the disco of the 70's which is a part of the production John Travolta Wannabe. The promotions of "Roly Poly" were a success and the girls were able to obtain first place twice on M! Countdown and once on Inkigayo. On the 28th of December they released the Japanese version of the single "Bo Peep Bo Peep" whose disc had the same name. After their Japan promotions they returned to Korea and promoted their album Black Eyes in November, just a few days after the debut of their second Japanese single "Yayaya". In January of 2012 they showcased their versatility when they released their mini album Funky Town in which was included songs like "Lovey Dovey", a single which had a music video version in honor of Michael Jackson, and the ballad "We Were In Love" in collaboration with the group Davichi. In February they arose again in Japan with Roly Poly and in June they presented the studio production Jewelry Box which was certified Gold after selling more than 100,000 copies. Their latest production Day By Day debuted on the third of July and they also presented their eighth member named Ahreum. On the 7th of the same month, on the comeback of T-ara on Music Core, they premiered the choreography of their promotional single which was prepared by Jonte Moaning, choreographer of "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Day By Day was able to reach first spot on the real time music charts: Soribada, Bugs, Cyworld, Mnet, Daum, Olleh, Melon, and Naver, beating groups like Sistar and Super Junior, among others. On another note, on December of this year their ninth member will officially debut, Dani of 14 years of age, who made her first appearance in the MV drama of Day By Day.

  20. come on guys...singing parts are not decided by members...even if areum is not in t-ara, it does not means qri or boram gets more. now that she is officially a member of t-ara, her priority in everyday life must be t-ara 1st. If she can give up much in life to work hard for t-ara she should be fine..same for dani. And for the recent releases i sincerely feel lines has been distrubuted more fairly...not being biased. Qri and Boram both had significant lines and they did great. Just have to see the growth in T-ara with the new members down the mths to actually judge if anyone is suitable or not.

  21. If you don't want to damage T-ara then gtfo T-ara The fact that she can easily join the official fanclub ceremony that T-ara works so hard for to get really angers me.
