  1. Not sure if targeting rap is US is the best idea for T ara... If they are promoting in the states they should perform in concerts featuring pop singers instead of rap

Nah cause if they get tied in with someone like One Directions or JB, they will forever be taken as a joke. See Wonder Girls and Jonas Brothers. The rap community might be more forgiving. Thoug I would not use any of the T-ara N4 tracks for an "American debut."

  2. I'm just amazed that you somehow got that through Twitter's character limit. Kudos.

I always felt subunits were a snub at the other group members [sistar19, TaeTiSeo, etc] or just to make good ol' profit. But I can get down with this because they want a hip hop spin. They pretty much ditched the singers and added Jiyeon. Jiyeon, IMO can probably rap good. She's got a unique, sorta deep and smooth voice [see Goodbye Ok]. I listen to mostly rap so I can appreciate all types from the ignent stuff like Gucci and Waka to some more independent stuff. Yes there is a Waka Flocka fan on Diadems.

  3. Man you guys must be running out of topics. First we had these "who's your favorite ____" now we got these 1v1 topics popping up. Soyeon though. Early favorite and she went a good bit before people started realizing she's a beast. Hyomin is eye candy.

  4. Aah,you must be really tired then.I'm the totally opposite situation as you are now :P For the past 4 months I've been extremely busy that I couldn't post anything on this Forum. My lecturers kept shoving assignments and presentation at the same time to us that I can't keep up with T-ara's news. Now that I'm on my break for 5 months,I think I'm going to enjoy my life to to the fullest before I enter my degree in September

    (Enough with my pathetic story...)

So,are you looking forward to this sub-unit?I hope they don't disappoint us though I'm not really fond of what Jiyeon wore for this teaser...

Yeah my sleep cycle is all sorts of messed up. It always has been but even days when I get 7-8 hours, I still feel tired. And yeah, I look forward to anything T-ara. I always thought subunits were a snub to other members, but w/e.

  5. Boyyyy where you been? Haha. The name hasn't been revealed yet. It seems more info will be out April 12th.

    EDITL: ^ ninja'd~

Black Ops and that it's the middle of the semester, all the professors dump the essays and projects during this time. We need that news tracker back too, lol. This time we have actual news like this subunit thing and a supposed comeback in May.

  6. The three I voted for were

    1. LTFT - the video was real chic/classy. The desaturation of color in the MV was cool too.

    2. IGCBOY - Video, song and the girls just bled swag. I could do without the weird shoulder pads but loved everything else.

    3. I'm Really Hurt - Another chic/classy song. The good electropop-ey sound I got into T-ara for. It also gave each girl a good amount of track time.

I really dislike the animal stuff. Suzy wore cat ears like once and it left a cool impact. T-ara wore it for a good number of their performances and it's kinda laughed at.

  7. Most T-ara songs are Soyeon feat. T-ara. We know KKS loves making changes but that is one formula that has seem to stuck. I've always saw the lead vs main as a quality vs quanitity thing. Lead has more unique parts, main has more parts, though it's usually repeating lines. Sub-vocals though -_-, my heart goes out to you guys.

    Moar rap plz.

  8. For those replying by quotes,

Please try to leave the other poster's message intact [or at least the necessary parts] and have your reply follow after the quote window. When it's all mixed in it's difficult to read who is saying what. After all we need to know who to ban and who not to. I kid. In the end, it just looks like you're quoting and not adding anything.

    Thanks.

  9. Their maknae Areum? Whatever happened to Dani lol.

Somebody needs to tell them you can't have an adult-version of a MV, several MVs that have a handful of violent scenes under your belt and then try to play the all-ages friendly card. Does not bother me one bit. I actually buy Chum Churum cause it has Hyori on it. Otherwise I stick to more conventional drinks.

  10. 1.3.LOL,it seems like all people who had posted here include CCM/KKS in the Bad Things Lists - including me. :P

2.So far,I have no problem with all of their promoted songs except for these songs - namely:YaYaYa,Why Are You Being Like This and Bo Peep Bo Peep.Don't get me wrong, the songs are not bad but I believe songs like Ma Boo,It's Okay and Fallin U are better songs to be promoted. But then,BPBP was the song that made them famous so I'll brush it off.But then,we have our own opinion.

3.Compared to other groups,T-ara is actually not an underage group because I knew a few groups that debuted earlier than or around the same year as T-ara but still struggle to gain attention from the media and fans.T-ara is slowly becoming TOP 5-10 for most popular girl groups but unfortunately, the scandal kinda tarnished their image badly - thanks to their monstrous CEO.

But you have to admit BPBP kinda makes you cringe. That song is so cartooney other fans didn't take T-ara seriously. I always found the promo songs to be my least favorite in their albums, except Sexy Love.

Underdog as in someone with little advantage/recognition. Not age lol. They might actually be slightly older than the norm.

  11. I'm just going to keep it simple and post three for each:

    Good

    1. They have a solid lineup. With most groups I like maybe one or two members. T-ara, I like them all. In T-ara we trust.

    2. The ratio of good songs to bad/filler songs is pretty high.

    3. Forever an underdog group. T-ara will never get complacent like other groups and lose heart.

    Bad

    1. Poorly managed. This trickles down from CEO to their dance coordinators to whoever fetches their water. T-ara would be GOAT if they had the right people behind them.

    2. They have a tendency to promote the wrong songs.

    3. Forever an underdog group. T-ara will never get the recognition they deserve.

  12. Yeah the timing was pretty messed up. But honestly if you're going to bombard fans with repackages over and over, some of those albums will take a hit. That combined with the s-storm T-ara got themselves in... The album itself wasn't bad, I found Sexy Love to be the upbeat song they were missing among all the melancholic and remixes from Day By Day.

Seriously, I can't be the only one here who thinks like this right? Whatever happened to full length albums with some effort put into them. And them coming out maybe once or twice a year? I honestly hate buying so many albums for pretty much the same songs. Gotta support the girls though...

We need Absolute First Album/Breaking Heart-type albums again.
