  1. maknae23 - You bring up great points. At a glance the tweets did seem harmless and in a way motivating. The consecutive tweets made the whole "last fight" attitude and all was fine and dandy until Hwayoung's rolled around. Which raised eyebrows. The tweets themselves weren't direct bullying. But it showed a difference in attitude between Hwayoung and the rest. An attitude where she was upset. I've said a few times that this situation had plenty of opportunities to have the group come out strong and without issue but that hasn't been the case. Each move they made only made it worse. At this point...the nail is in the coffin. The least damaging way is if KKS comes clean and admits the manipulation and that T-ara was under pressure, and that Hwayoung's frustation is not towards the other members but the management. This results in the group all being brought together in a good light and the blame falls on someone already disliked in the Kpop industry. However this is KKS we're talking about, at best we may get an apology from the members for upsetting and disappointing fans. KKS would never let them admit that they bullied a member.

We all have biases for a reason. If I had to crown a member as my bias, it would be Eunjung. Not only because of her talents but because of her attitude. I always saw her as having a clear, innocent conscience, almost like a child, yet being authoritative and diplomatic. So it's heartbreaking to see someone I've held up to this regard as being involved in the position she is in right now. I won't say who but I could see how some of the members had a bit of cattiness in them, I'd never expect them to use it let alone on a fellow member.

  2. So let's use a similar and common example. A woman trying to report a rape. People are reluctant to believe it. The woman is far more reluctant to report it out of shame, embarassment and repercussions. It's such a huge issue that we forget the most important part, the crime itself. It doesn't matter the intent of the group, the part that matters is that Hwayoung was offended and pretty much fed up with the BS. That part was plenty evidence.

I just hope no one does anything drastic. Careers can be salvaged but lives can not.

  3. LOL KKS YOU CLOWN. Protect Hwayoung...but regularly release articles to make her look bad. Those articles have as much weight in truth as these anonymous posts coming up.

Now the apex of this shtstorm is when this controversy becomes big enough to fall upon the ears of an American audience. Britney Spears wants her song back. THAT is real legal action, CCM.

  4. I agree completely; a lot of people are of the belief that bullying can only be physical, like the rest of the members actually hitting Hwayoung - but saying negative things is just the same.

But I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you think T-ara might not have realized they were giving Hwayoung so much stress? That seems to make sense, and I'd obviously like to think the best of them; but over a span of two years, they didn't realize it?

In a group setting, people can be a little relentless. We don't actually mean it...we're in company of people we like. But we don't want things to be all rainbows and unicorns, you know? And no they might not have realized it. Until someone pulls me aside and says "look...what you said really bothered me" I'll assume it was brushed off. But I don't make it a habit to bust anyone's balls either.

People have to realize THIS is how girls bully, behind backs and with indirect/passive/sarcastic jabs. Simply put they're catty. The vibe with passive insults is that the person feels he/she is higher than the victim to be insulting them directly. Unconsciously they want to avoid direct confrontation and have a safety net of "oh you're taking it the wrong way". Up to you to apply this mindset to the Twitter debacle, but this is just a general concept.

  5. Disbanding shouldn't be the priority. The priority should be the truth. If Hwayoung is indeed wrong, where are the girls to say so. Why rely on a smear campaign to get points across. If Hwayoung is correct, where are the apologies? Not only to Hwayoung but to fans. T-ara has alienated their own fanbase. Why after several days since the incident came to light, have the same questions been asked over and over.

For the speculation part. The girls are prob being kept quiet for a number of reasons; 1. KKS has the false notion that he can fix this situation himself and 2. They're apologetic to Hwayoung and the fans but this would go against EVERYTHING KKS has done and said so far, or 3. They indeed dislike Hwayoung...good riddance w/e but by expressing this...it's career suicide. Let it be #2. I still support T-ara but I'd rather do so by them making corrections.

  6. People can say and imply negative things and actually mean it or not. Doesn't matter if the person didn't intend harm. But it's how the person receives it. If the person gets offended, regardless of intent or not...that's bullying. So yes, we're still unclear what intentions the girls had but all that matters it resulted in Hwayoung being upset. This is how cliques of females act...only this time the clique is a popular Kpop group.

  7. What is this dude's intention. Is it to help or harm Hwayoung after her departure? What is he doing to protect the rest of T-ara, the most successful aspect of his company. He is letting his empire burn because he can't keep the lies straight. That's what happens when you fill your staff with yes men and people fueled by money.

I really wish the attacks were not at the members of T-ara until it's discovered the bullying incident exists [at this point the evidence does not favor the girls] and instead solely on KKS. If there is no bullying, he should let them speak...hell even apologize for upsetting fans and clear the air. How many days after and we've heard NOTHING from anyone involved. However if they are...man.

  8. CCM is not dumb. A bit but not totally over the edge anyway. They're keeping Hyoyoung as a bit of leverage. It's much easier to control and discipline someone if they are an employee under a binding contract. By kicking Hwayoung out, it temporarily "solves" the problem but Hyoyoung is the life insurance. If KKS fired both Hwayoung and Hyoyoung, he would have no leverage and they would be free to talk as they want. While the situation might be reversed, that Hyoyoung is one of the more popular members in her group, she may face some icey attitudes and situations from the higher ups. It wouldn't be surprising that Hwayoung left on KKS' terms...to keep her mouth shut and take the media beating as it is dished by CCM. I feel so bad for Hwayoung, Hyoyoung and their parents. As a sign of respect, they have to take sht from the employers, esp ones who made their daughters famous and gave them a chance. Korean culture FTL I guess.

Just my opinion, but I worked a lot for big companies who have their share of issues but did not let the damage get this out of control. Same sht, different pile

  9. 6-ara got me into Kpop. I loved 7-ara and I would support the group as 8, 9 or more because they are still T-ara. I'd rather Hwayoung not rejoin, in doing so she's right back at square one and she has to publically admit fault? He is STILL denying the bullying claims. T-ara should pull a Kara, and fight back. This situation can be still be saved if the rest of the girls started spilling the crap behind closed doors and they too express desire to leave CCM. They should rejoin as 7-ara at another label. That's if Hwayoung has no ill feelings towards the rest and vice versa. Hwayoung didn't take this crap lightly, so why do the other members continue to do so.

KKS no longer has pull on the media that he thought he did. While he may have some pull over writers and producers, the bigger names do not have any label loyalty, only group. He can't cripple T-ara like he thinks he can.

  10. Poor Eunjung. She loves acting! :(

Poor everyone. Even Qri, Areum and Dani even when they have done nothing. They have to be in the middle of this debacle and do nothing but watch the empire burn.

Though this gives Eunjung a chance to redeem herself by bringing to light her view on the facts and what really went on. This should be plenty incentive to talk. Guilty or not, the damage is done. Please Eunjung do something to win back some sympathy. I'll stand behind you always but I'm only one in millions of fans out there.

  11. I'm not believing anything until any of T-ara or hwayoung explain all this farkery.

It would be great to hear the two sides of the story that matter. However with the people in charge we may be hearing just one very skewed version. The others being repressed or falling on deaf ears.

Here's something I stumbled on while on another site:

Japanese T-ara staff tweet continued: She was a new member and doing the shoot was unfamiliar for her so I was told to pay attention to her. I was treating her comfortably. Hwayoung didn't look like she had much strength. At that time, I thought "Is she nervous because she's a new member?" or "Is the relationship between the members not good?" After that, it seems like the relationship between her and the members didn't improve. –I don't understand how to translate this portion of the tweet-absorbed and how hard it is for nice people to survive in the entertainment business.- She was a very nice child. She was always smiling at the staff, was polite, and not fake. I’m worried that she may actually be too nice

  12. So you feel that she may have acted this way as a result of being bullied after Budokan? This Music Bank stage was the same day as Hyomin's initial tweet, so how do we know Hyomin's tweet wasn't a reference to this alleged tantrum? Not taking sides, just curious as to how you reached your conclusion.

Not only feel but support what she did. Not the most mature thing, I admit but I'd do the same thing. Let's put it in normal people terms. Monday you hang with friends, they make negative remakes verbally. Tuesday, when they asked you to hang out again, do you happily oblige? I wouldn't. So later Tuesday one of the friends makes a public post not directly talking about you bot doing so in a passive manner. The worst kind IMO. That's public and proud cowardice. Come Wednesday I would be heated.

REGARDLESS, that is my opinion. The only thing that matters is I hope Hwayoung sees this as the "darkest before dawn". And T-ara in general for not only being involved in this situation but being further manipulated by a certain CEO. Hwayoung did what none of them dared to do.

  13. Readers - keep in mind she did so AFTER the Budokan concert, which if I recall is where this incident started. As a person, I'd be upset and would act similarly to Hwayoung after receiving such treatment then asked to perform with and for the same people not long after.

I applaud Hwayoung. Don't take this crap sitting down.

  14. I love the group as a whole and support them so even if I have a preference of one member over another... while Hwayoung wasn't my all-time favorite, she has my consistent support as the underdog and sleeper rapper that she is . My preference for my bias won't override the repulsive acts committed toward a fellow member...though I won't jump on the hate bandwagon, the disappointment in T-ara and the management is strong enough.

Injustive anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

  15. Good luck Hwayoung. This may be a blessing in disguise, we all have an idea how binding idol contracts can be and you have been freed of that and an environment where you were persecuted. She had shown the media her talents and DBD really showed it in the spotlight. I supported you since day one and will continue to do so.

6ara + Areum...you guys are still my favorite group but it won't be the same. Ever.

  16. Poor Qri, she must feel like a young kid watching the parents fights. WAE GUERAE LOL.

Better not be the group splitting up or dropping members. Lizzy or Nicole simply do not look as good as Eunjung does as my license plate. When I come back from work tonight, I hope the next news article is KKS announcing a long-due vacation for T-ara members to cool off and bond.

  17. Yeah...that's what I just feel right now. If T-ara indeed directing the tweets to hwayoung, then I have nothing to say. But right now, I'm pissed off at hwayoung and hyoyoung. I mean does hwayoung really needs to post another suspicious tweet? Really? At times like this she should have lay low.

No offence intended, we all have our own opinions.

Hwayoung by no means is a guilty party here. She shouldn't have to "lay low" or anything. This really isn't the time to show your blind dedication for your bias by knocking on everyone else involved.

  18. but they're following her completely for the wrong reasons since its all just speculations at this point. the reason she has so much more support now is because of this whole "bullying" incident that isnt even confirmed yet

No they're following her for the right reasons. I don't care about the recent surge in Hwayoung fans because suddenly Day By Day really showcased her talents, I'm glad it has. Though some of the early adopters see that as bandwagoning. They're supporting her because she is, in simple terms, being bullied. Not directly, but honestly when do groups of girls ever directly insult one another. And not by some anti or a rival group member, but her own T-ara sisters. Maybe it's not confirmed but the evidence and speculation does not look good and the silence from CCM and T-ara is deafening.

I'd be in support of any member of any group for being a victim of bullying by those closest to them. Confirmed or not.
