  1. i mean bullying is one of the main entertainment in kpop, have you seen some groups like suju, shinhwa, afterschool, infinite etc etc in many shows, they always bully another member esp the maknae... its so normal in kpop.

There is legit bullying where someone is actually a victim and takes offense to the actions [like a bigger student forcefully taking money from a smaller one] and there's a the playful type between sports teams, group of friends, etc. The latter describes your situation. I really doubt they hold any real grudges or plot revenge.

oh yeah because SHE'S the problem here..... smh

I'm quoting this exact post as an example of how something posted online can be taken one of many ways. Tone is inferred by the reader, so you can read it like I did believe that Tsurara is being sarcastic and pretty much saying that the post he quoted is faulty and that Hwayoung is NOT the problem. Or you could read it at face value and get the idea that he is agreeing with the quoted post and saying Hwayoung is indeed the problem. See how different the two views are? See how difficult it would be for someone not fluent in English to catch that? The Tweets could've gone one of two ways; motivational, kinda like a last push or a underhand jab at an unspecified subject. When Hwayoung tweets started rolling in, one can deduce it was the latter. IDK maybe Hwayoung is having a bad day, so why isn't anyone encouraging her...they had 5/8 members reply to Hyomin's tweet that was not directly towards anyone. Then when these negative conclusions came out, why didn't Soyeon or Eunjung or CCM come out and put the fire out totally by saying the fans are taking it wrong and that they were just venting their frustation, not at anyone but in general, they do it plenty on Twitter.

The point is there were numerous points where any of the members or CCM/KKS could've easily squashed this situation from spiraling down to what it is and they didn't. This is no PR stunt, they've alienated a fanbase and turned Kpop fans in general against T-ara.

I want to be wrong, very wrong. But forreal though, it ain't easy being a T-ara fan lol.

  2. I don't know why people are saying that those tweets were malicious tweets directed towards Hwayoung... Netizens and other people like to blow these things out of proportions, CCM's damage controls sucks as well...

It sure is... Why does it seem like the moment i joined this fandom, all I'm getting are bad news? xD

Stuff in writing can always be misinterpreted because the tone is what the reader thinks, not what the writer intends. But the stuff following ironed everything out and CCM would not have to respond that way if it were just the girls trying to motivate one another and not passive jabs at Hwayoung. Not one girl came out of the woodworks to say "OMG you people took that the wrong way" which T-ara has done quite a lot in the past when something negative swung their way. Apparently this happened a few days ago too...so they have plenty of time to clear the air since.

  3. Wow I just read the Twitter thing. While I really hope it's just things blown out of proportion, I don't believe in coincidences. Being a self-taught pessimist doesn't help either. KKS would know better than to outright terminate any of the girls, but the idea of splitting up cripples both sides. I really hope it's an announcement of the dude giving them a real 1-2 week break, not for promos or babysitting Gangkiz or w/e, to cool off. T-ara's been crashing and burning for too long.

Yeah simultaneously hacked, with no other tweets before or after being out of the ordinary and the questionable tweets still exist. That's what happened lol. I get mad at friends and family all the time, don't mean I seriously hate them. Hope it's just a vent for the group's overall frustration. Sucks that it's directed toward Hwayoung though...

    It's tough being a T-ara fan.

  4. JLee♥ - Thanks. I've done my best to obtain every legit T-ara item possible. The only ones I've passed on are the single CDs like Beautiful Girl/BGH/etc. and the regular Japanese albums. Those Japanese albums are the bane of my existence lol. Different content [songs, pictures, video] for each version and they're not cheap at all. $25-30 for 3-4 songs is robbery. Then they release a compilation CD as the Jewelry Box which again has different versions/content. Whatevs, I does it fo ma gurlz.

Rice - You already know B).

I stumbled across this when the listing went live but I see the seller took it down. It would've been an awesome starter collection as the Jewelry Box albums and any one album alone would've made the price even.

  5. I wanted to do it this way, but the forum only allows 3 questions & I wanted to be able to add new albums/songs to the poll as they come out.

No worries, your thread and polls are laid out well. Funny because EVERY album I like one of these filler tracks much more than the promoted ones. Except for the repackages; IGCBOY, I'm Really Hurt, RP in Copacabana are all awesome songs.

  6. You know what I've noticed, that whatever new song no matter who makes it, it will reach some #1 spot somewhere. Which is why I believe companies will time releases close but never on the same day. This is just an observance from a a casual fan but feel free to correct me. That explains how some of these groups come out of the wood works and have a chart topper with an okay song. That way they can still "beat" bigger more popular groups because then that group's single will be old. It's like movie releases in February, nothing is good but something still has to be the best lol.

It's like giving trophies out to the winner for winning and the losers for participating.

  7. You ever hear the term divide and conquer? LOL they want T-ara to be exhausted and as a result frustrated, but not frustrated together. KKS/CCM is as cruel as he is a genius.

Speaking from experience. Roommates aren't fun. Friend, acquaintance or complete stranger. The whole idea of roommates for us normal people is to live on our own when we can't afford it. Split costs and chores. Now when you can command a legion of fans and make a hefty salary, roommates are only as necessary as you [or your contract] want it to be lol.

  8. they have a similar thread on soshified.com. some of the fans have such a massive collection. make me so jealous, plus there's more snsd stuff to buy online compared to t-ara items. =)

Yeah but those guys are animals. I'm happy with having less lol, that means just less stuff to buy. While the cards are a PITA, I've convinced myself it's unnecessary and excessive to get all of them. That and I'm lucky to have gotten some nice trades.

    EDIT

As promised here are my stuff. It's not neatly arranged or set as a shrine, all this stuff sits inside a shelf. The posters inside a huge box as I only went through the trouble have hanging their first two.

  9. When it comes to idols, the majority of words they say to the press can never be trusted wholly and even in documentaries, they definitely don't say everything in detail (look at SM's 'I Am' being a close example of this).

Soyeon would have HAD to say that otherwise she would have faced the very likelihood of getting booted from T-ara indefinitely - which goes to say, KKS himself threatened to kick any of them out if they ever opposed the new member addition in any way imaginable.

To put it simply, Soyeon had a gun pointed at her head when she said that. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

Well he does have them whipped, that's for sure. But is it really that hard to believe maybe the current members welcome the new ones? I don't take any of the members of being a big enough xxxx that they'd actually dislike the new members simply for joining the group late. The idea of adding/replacing members is not a new on in Kpop or any group-oriented business or franchise. The way he's approaching is def questionable.

Miami wasn't mad about getting Lebron, you know. Especially now.

  10. why i can't see any option in reply topic such as "insert image"?

    thank you..

What browser are you using? Are you trying from the quick reply box or the 'More Reply Options'? The latter opens it automatically, the former you need to click the box or just start typing.

    Should look like this:

  11. Oh heyyy look at that. Soyeon is receiving the new members in a nice, friendly manner, not to mention protective [oh who can imagine from what]. Something perhaps some T-ara fans should look into... Yeah yeah Jiyeon lost her maknae position, so what.

they're not living in the dorm together?!!! has KKS become soooooooooooo CHEAP??!!

    BABY DINO!!<33

You do know that it costs less to house nine people in one home/apartment/condo than having multiple, even two places with 4-5 members each? But that's not being cheap, that's to make day-day living easier. Have you ever been in a house with so many people? It becomes a bit of a frenzy.

  12. Niiice. Just caught it, much more entertaining to way then the Cry Cry/Lovey Dovey drama MVs but this one is a good bit shorter. They played the post apocalyptic thing well, the absence of guns and common use of swords was a nice plausible touch. Though if they have functioning vehicles, one can assume guns aren't totally obsolete.

Dani being blind was a nice touch too. Unfortunate that EJ wasn't here but she looks like a big player in the next one. OH AND HWAYOUNG'S RAP > all.

  13. KKS though notorious for questionable methods, is far from dumb. Just old school in a new school market. As great as it sounds for T-ara to just revolt from the management and beat the system, this isn't V for Vendetta. Their contract is no different than most other Kpop contracts [prob more binding] and they may still be with CCM when their popularity fades much down the road.

And push comes to shove, if T-ara did such a thing and managed to get away unscathed, KKS being cemented in the industry would make it a nightmare for them to restart a career. T-ara does not compose/write their own songs, nor do their own choreo, who knows how independent they can be.

Look at Kara, they got obliterated after their debacle even though they worked out their contracts. Their Mister/Lupin days was the rise and peaked IMMEDIATELY.

Maybe Qri or Boram can look into music management in their free time lol. T-ara represented by T-ara.

  14. CCM...logic? LOL.

Nah I asked the same thing in a thread somewhere but I forgot where. Maybe she's in the video only and will join the music part in December...prob in time for a repackage or something [you know it's gonna happen]. All I know is the people in charge must really love Dani. We hear so much about 9th member and yet near nothing for the 8th. Areum forever alone lol.
