jyuanzhe reacted to xbot in [13.12.04] T-ara's Japanese fanclub suddenly shutting down.. Will they stop Japanese activities?
This was from AKP's translation of Sports Seoul: "We plan to manage it through Core Contents Media's CCM Japan. Although the fan club will not be automatically switched over, we plan to start one again... T-ara's Japanese activities will definitely not come to a close. Once they complete their activities in China, they will start again in Japan next year."
I don't have any Korean language skills so I can't say which is more correct. But if its correct, the Sports Seoul is really not that gloom & doom of a news: So CCM won't use J-rock anymore, T-ara will be more focused on China for next year and there will be a new Japan comeback in 2014. Anyway CCM also have Choshinsung/Chōshinsei/Supernova which have quite a following in Japan so it might not be a bad idea to have their own agency branch handling things there. They also don't need to look around if they want to market SPEED & their other acts there.
Personally I don't think J-rock did a very well job of handling T-ara in Japan so I'm kind of happy they are gone. Did they even do any real promotion at all for Number 9 JPN or even Target ~anyone seen a live performance of those? When was the last time T-ara got into a major Japanese music show or even be on TV besides small time cable and morning news clips? <For a group that has done Budokan and always get top ten in Oricon except one time (more on that later) it is unforgivable that T-ara never performed in Music Station...> Why do T-ara always launch songs when the top local girl bands are also launching theirs? Who launches a CD single (lovey dovey Jpn) just two weeks before the launch of an album (Jewelry Box --> Lovey Dovey is in it)? Why come out with a pirate concept but don't promote with it? etc. etc.
Of course you might say that the bone head moves were made by CCM (read KKS) but J-rock was the local expert of the market and should've known better. Some might also say that T-ara not showing that much on Japanese TV is because the scandal & that T-ara is not that popular any more... are you kidding me? T-ara gets top ten in Oricon for every single title song they have (even with lackluster promotions) except Number 9.. but even that song managed to get #13 without any promotion & with the Korean comeback ending just days before & still fresh on J-Queens minds (The Japanese do get youtube and can buy Korean albums in Japan also you know CCM). And you can even count with your fingers the number of Japanese girl bands that get to play in the hallowed Budokan Hall.. T-ara did two-day concerts there twice, this year alone (that's four times in my book) not to mention having a multi-city concert tour.

    Oooh. Speculation time!
I postulate that despite their best efforts, T-ara has not been as profitable in Japan (relatively-speaking) as CCM hoped they would be. Think about it, if the profits from Japan were sky high, they would milk that cash cow with every possible gimmick, year in year out. Taking a long hiatus In this idol-saturated market, could easily mean irrecoverable lost ground unless you're a really big household name.
So naturally, T-ara's venturing out to extend and deepen (if possible) their appeal in other markets. China with it's large, youthful population is quite a prize.

Wait. SO now she's 14 which makes her 13, in international age.
So I guess being in elementary is okay.
But how will she study in the future?
She can't stay in the US anymore so she'll need to go to Korea. But then she isn't even good at Korean.
Plus the schedules will screw up all of her studies

What I want to know is, how much do the PDs know about this incident?
Regardles of whether the scandal is true or not, their behaviour is obviously biased against T-ARA and for Hwayoung.
Shouldn't they watch their behaviour too?
After seeing the article about Hwayoung being unprofessional, i don't know what to believe anymore.
I just think that the PDs should watch out for and care a little about T-ARA's feelings too.
    What about Qri?

Readers - keep in mind she did so AFTER the Budokan concert, which if I recall is where this incident started. As a person, I'd be upset and would act similarly to Hwayoung after receiving such treatment then asked to perform with and for the same people not long after.
I applaud Hwayoung. Don't take this crap sitting down.

I agree with you!!! There must be a fancam or something of that sort. It's Korean fans. They're good when it comes to fancams. :/ If there's no proof, then I still won't believe about Hwayoung's bad manner and will still hold my belief of the CEO's immature handling of this issue.

this is just the beginning, t-ara relies most on the public not on their hardcore fans.. if the public see them a s bullies.. i think t-ara's condition might getting worse even can lead to disbandment

So, for example if your fav group doing something wrong to your sister/brother you keep support that group? Geez...
Of course right now the fans dissapointed, confused and angry to T-ARA because of this mess, the clarification made by KKS not help at all, and make the mess getting worse... And we all don't know what 'ActuallY' happened...

so this article gives false report... T-ara actually somehow manage to gain fans while people cancel the tickets. Maybe now KKS should give those to the Japanese fanclub as they requested so earlier but he wanted to keep it fair for everyone to purchase the ticket.

Seriously, I want to cry right now. If I could I'll buy one of those cancelled tickets and go support them.

You know, I have to say...I know we've had our differences in opinion but I just wanted to apologize, you were absolutely right about everything. I'm not even going to lie, I am delusional when it comes to T-ara, I was truly hoping for the best possible outcome to happen, but I guess I was too naive. When you've followed a group for three years I guess you just always want to believe everything's going to be okay, even when all signs point to it being just the opposite. I just wanted to say that, I don't like being an ass and I'll always admit when I'm in the wrong.
To be honest, I've had to take a major step back and examine this whole situation, right now I'm not sure what's going on or who to believe or who's truly the victim and who's in the wrong...makes me realize that I'm just going to kind of stop speculating so much until tomorrow, after we hear this announcement. An ex-industry insider says that a member will probably be leaving, and it's supposedly not Eunjung...who knows anymore. This whole thing has gotten far messier than it ever had to be. The girls need to be put on haitus, no more comebacks for a while, nothing, not until this whole mess is settled. Taking a member out of the group is only a band-aid for a bullet wound at this point...more problems will continue to surface, this is not going to go away no matter how hard they're worked or how many comebacks they make.

having been a group with hwayoung for a year or so, i doubt they had this kind of conflict for the first time. it's just, it's the first time members brought it up to public. while these members' tweets seems kinda unwise, it gave them publicity (bad publicity is kinda better than no publicity at all, ha) and kinda *slap* kks on his face so now kks will take this internal members issue more seriously. hopefully, he won't trolling us with the big announcement later. i'm still annoyed with his statement about "lazy members" when it's clear to everyone that these girls are overworked.

hope this is really a good news... but that's KKS, when he is the one in charge of announcements, everything goes wrong, *facepalm*
I'm really worried about Soyeon the most, aside from the hectic schedule of T-ara as a whole, and her as individual, This year has tons of issues of health, adding members, and now Youngie issue is really something... as a leader, i believe she is affected the most... T.T fighting Ssyo, fighting T-ara!

Now that sounds even worse in my opinion....
Hwayoung was added in late 2010 but Jiyeon only followed her Twitter in early 2012 recently while surprise,surprise...Boram never did.I seriously don't think they were furious just because Hwayoung sat on chair singing due to her ankle injury.I can still remember an incident where Soyeon also perform Cry Cry on stage with the help of crutches in April 2012.
There has to be something going on between them a long time ago and probably one of them just can't hold back their emotions anymore and decided to take actions and others also decided to jump in....

Yea, I'd have to agree with you on this one. I personally find Jiyeon, Hyomin and Eunjung to be the most guilty of this bullying case but in the long shot and in the wide picture, KKS is to blame for along with whatever cootheads in management supported him.
If more popular groups like SNSD or 2NE1 were in a situation like this, I can't even begin to imagine how much worse the chaos would be. It would be unthinkable - hell, Kpop as a whole would take what can be seen as an almost unrecoverable damage.
Honestly, the more I think about it, T-ara seems much better off in its 6-ara days.

I love all of them! Though, I can't help it but to notice that Hwayoung was the one that was always left out and felt foreign to 6-ara. Just watch any variety shows or anything with the whole group in it. 6-ara did make an effort to accept Hwayoung but somehow she's not family to the rest of them. I can't blame it on 6-ara or Hwayoung because obviously if they had the choice, 6-ara will want to remain as 6 while Hwayoung was just following her boss' order to join them which was beyond her control.
