[12.06.29] T-ara rush back to Korea from Japan today T-ara will rush home to Korea after their concert in Japan. According to T-ara's agency, T-ara will rush back to Korea through Gimpo Airpotr today at 10:30 AM. This is because T-ara's scheduled to appear on the live KBS2TV "Music Bank" half-year show. T-ara had hits in the first half of the year with "Lovey-Dovey" and their duet with Davichi, "We Were In Love". Despite the hectic schedules in Japan, T-ara members said, "We're excited to have our comeback stage in Korea with 'Day by Day' since it's been a long time since we could meet our fans on stage." T-ara's members Soyeon, Eunjnug and Hyomin all have been confirmed for drama roles in "Haeundae Lovers", "Five Fingers" and "One Thousandth Man" in the second half of the year. After the "Music Bank" half-year show, the girls will go to drama script reading to prepare for the filming of the drama and then leave back to Japan with the other members on the morning of the 30th for concert tour dates. The title track DAY BY DAY was composed by Cho Youngsoo and Ahn Youngmin with lyrics by Kim Taehyun. T-ara will meet fans with a more matured look than before. The song begins with calm tune which leads to a rap. Hwayoung's appealing voice is heard rapping poetic lyrics with a slight Boyish charm. Hwayoung actively gave feedback to the songwriter in the recording process of the album to make sure to find a suitable rhyme and melody, which a lot of work went into. Over time, the maturity of the T-ara's members VOICES and their various different colors, musical ability and expressiveness are further shown with each comeback. I'm not attacking u or anything but I really don't get this mentality. Everyone said the same thing about Hwayoung and now everyone loves her. I'm really disappointed that a lot of the fans share this mentality. They are even spamming the Youtube teaser with negative votes because of it. So sad. I hope that everyone will embrace the two new girls soon like we all did with Hwayoung...

its all because of KKS toying with us, if he wants to remove someone just remove her, if he want to add someone then just add her... sparking a war between the group members will never be an effective way to improve their popularity nor their skills... i dont really want him to get out from CCM since he is the one that gave birth to T-ara, but he really have to get rid that "status quo" mentality... we fans dont have enough energy to be bugged with that kind of problem... if only he become a more compassionate person when dealing with this issue then most of us might have no problem with the addition just like how most of us finally began to love RYU...

So Dani is supposedly the 9th member and debut much later in the year, while Areum is the 8th and anticipated to come in July...so why does T-ara's next single have Dani all over and not Areum? We also got info and later, official confirmation for Dani much quicker than Areum. Just wondering as I always stumble on articles late.

I agree for the most part, but to some extent I feel like some fans still fear that the new girls may take one or more of the existing member's places...hence, why I think some fans are having a harder time accepting them as members than others. Personally, I'm not really thrilled with the additions as I really didn't see the need for them in the first place since T-ara was doing fine as a seven member group...but at the same time I'm not going to lose any more sleep over it either. In time I'm sure I'll grow to love them as a part of the group, and so will other fans, it'll just take time.

Sigh .. I wont be able to accept member 8th and 9th ... But I'm really anticipating for the MV and SONG since my baby Jiyeon looks so badass . Is she going to be the villian there ? O:

Ahhhhh. I am so excited for this mini album!!! It sounds amazing. I love the description for "Don't Leave". Can't wait to hear it! This is going to be the longest weekend of my life. The wait is killing me.

I have been utterly blown away!!! First of all, I love that the setting of the music vid has a dystopian feel to it...when I first heard that the video was going to have a futuristic setting and saw some of the teaser pics I automatically jumped to something like Britney Spears' "Toxic" video as a reference. And while I still see some of its influence here (the girls' hair and outfits primarily), this looks much very much like it was inspired by Mad Max, as was reported. I also see a lot of Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger here. Secondly, while I'm still not thrilled about the additions, I can sort of see what KKS was saying when he called Dani an "unrefined jewel." Her pictures don't do her justice, she is a lovely young girl. It's going to take a lot more than a teaser to sell me on her inclusion, but so far, so good. I wish she didn't have so much screen time in the teaser either, but I can also see why they decided to feature her so prominently; it's their way of letting the fans know that she fits well into T-ara's overall aesthetic and not to worry, that they're not COMPLETELY inept. It seems to be working, too; I've noticed that a lot of people have rescinded their initial opinions of Dani based on this teaser alone. Third, while I'm happy to see the EunHyoJi trifecta looking as good as ever, I would have loved to see Boram, Qri, Hwayoung, Soyeon, and Areum in this teaser as well...even if it's just bit roles, I think now more than ever CCM needs to be enforcing that T-ara is now a group of nine, and as such things are going to need to change to accomodate that. This is a really good time to be addressing issues such as screen time and line distribution, especially since it was such a huge problem when there were only seven of them...I can only imagine how it's going to be if things keep going the way they have with nine girls. Obviously there are girls that will receive more attention within the group, but that doesn't mean that Boram, Qri, and Hwayoung aren't any less deserving of some spotlight time as well. I'm not sure why Soyeon and Areum weren't featured...you'd think that with Soyeon gaining so much popularity over the past several months and Areum joining promotions before Dani that CCM would want to get them a little bit of screen time as well. I know this sounds like a bit of a rant, but all in all, I was extremely impressed with this teaser. I wasn't sure what to think when I heard that "Day By Day" would be a sci-fi video since they can be notoriously hard to execute if there isn't proper budget and you don't know what the hell you're doing, but this looks amazing. The song itself sounds amazing too, and I love that T-ara has opted to go back to their Absolute First Album roots and give us a dark, sexy, sad song, since it's what they do best. Amazingly enough, it fits in well with the video, which I wasn't sure it would, but the video's harder edge and the song's sadness combine to give the whole package kind of a hopeless, melancholy feeling...and I think that's exactly what they were shooting for. For all intents and purposes it looks like T-ara will survive the craziness that's been surrounding them, as it looks like, for the most part, anticipation for both this song and video are almost universal. Well done, T-ara. And KKS...if you know what's good for you, you'll stop messing with T-ara from here on out. You mIght have been able to pull this off once but don't go crazy adding and subtracting members in the future, or you really WILL ruin them as a group. Leave well enough alone, since we all know that T-ara's pretty much all CCM has at this point. Mess with them too much and you'll be SOL.

[12.06.26] T-ara's Soyeon cast in KBS drama "Haeundae Lovers" T-ara's leader Soyeon has been cast in the drama "Haeundae Lovers". "Haeundae Lovers" begins airing on KBS after "Big" and is a romantic comedy that centers on prosecutor Lee Taesung (Kim Kangwoo) who chases after gangsters but ends up losing his memory. Soyeon will play the role of Lee Gwansun, a bright and bubbly character. Soyeon previously showed off her acting skills in the musical "Our Youth Roly-Poly" and the SBS drama "Giant" but this will be her first time acting in a permanent recurring role. Soyeon said, "Eunjung has been steadily acting since she was a child and Hyomin and Jiyeon who also acted before were eager to give me a lot of adivce. Erm... when did T-ara dubbed as "national girl group"? And I swear I thought the picture were SNSD and not T-ara. Sooner or later, I might be confuse with these two... (unless I memorise their album covers and pics by hard). I'm used to seeing and assuming that it is SNSD's picture when there are a lot of girls everytime I have a quick glance. I should stop doing that now. Anyhoo, I'm worried about Qri's lines. I hope Boram and Qri wont become backup dancers.

OMG Eunjung looks the best, so misterious and is like she´s about to breathe . Jiyeon sometimes looks bad with that blonde hair but sometimes looks cool. Qri looks cool too nice pose, Hwayoung looks so mature, beautifull, Hyomin pose is not too cool but i love her hair , Seoyon is like always i´ve seen that pose before but i´s fine, Boram looks just like a porcelain doll so cute . this comeback will be awsome, on stage this looks can be so cool and don´t forguet who was the choreographer .

Areum looks fit in T-ara! I hope they'll kill charts like they did before during Bo Peep Bo Peep,Roly Poly , Lovey Dovey eras .

Areum rapping ? " Err ... I thought she was here for vocal purposes. Just leave her and Soyeon with vocals. We have 3 rappers already (and 4 if you add Dani.) Okay, we used to have sing distribution problems. But now we'll have rapping distribution problems too. I hope one of those new songs got Qri and Boram's part. I'm sure people will accept them, but it'll take a while like it did for Hwayoungie. You can't expect people to accept things right away. As for me, I'm reserving my comments after their debut but it's not like I accept them completely.

What does airplanes, cars, and waiting rooms have in common for T-ara? Places where they sleep. Apparently, their dorm is just a storage area. OTL They don't seem human to me. How can anyone live on 3 or so hours of sleep a day? Sigh, I worry for them...

First Minnie as the Nine Tail Fox, Then Soyeon as the daughter of gangster in Haeudae Lovers and now Eungie in Five Finger as a pianist ? No doubt since Eungie did learn piano from her mother (her mother was a piano instructor before) Hell yeah because in Kpop industry only T-ARA are great in acting and singing. I mean act-dol. Great singers, great actresses, great dancers, great shufflers, greats models etc. The most super duper multi-talented idols goes to T-ARA. Who else can beat them in acting and singing at the same time? Only T-ARA can make it DAEBAK!

Just months ago, 'no acting in 2012' TROLOLOL What a joke. 'No acting in 2012' apparently meant no acting in 2012 under CCM. No wonder the girls got put into a separate acting agency. CCM simply doesn't want more blame casted towards it, especially with Ji Yeon having gone through the experience of promoting and acting simultaneously before. But on August? I don't see that as a rather good timing for So Yeon considering they'd be busy promoting 'Day By Day' and have the solo concert to perform. It'd be more suitable if the drama aired somewhere during September or so. I'm hoping that So Yeon benefits from the new laws being proposed in regards to actors and actresses though because filming for a drama has a huge toll on both the stars and staff (that is if the new laws come into effect soon enough). I don't take this as exactly good news.
