Agreed, it would be nice to see the time spent on making new Korean songs. I think it'd really do big justice for T-ara to actually spent more time dedicated to a full studio album like Absolute First - which was well over 2 years ago and earlier in the year, the DBD album was supposed to be a second full album but in the end, it didn't, probably due to the promotions in Japan and work in Europe. Ever since, CCM's been burning them out on making them comeback multiple times a year with mini-albums, making it highly detrimental to the members' mental and physical health as the price. Seems that the nutbag doesn't realize that T-ara's gained enough staying power, even with the scandal. If they spend time dedicated for a full second album, it would at least give them a better chance of recuperating as well so they won't have to go around back and forth with those ridiculous schedules non-stop and increase risks of ending up in hospital.

It seems like CCM is making even the most trivial things about T-ara get reported by the media and thinks the fans are thick as bricks. Come on, does it look like we're all clueless with what T-ara would do in the plane? Sheesh. It's not even common hear about other celebs being reported by the news about how they all sleep in the plane and all that - why? Because it's not even worth big news.

Lol, guess I'm not alone then haha. On the other hand - I wouldn't think she's comparable with BoA's beginnings. For one thing, BoA debuted as a soloist, not as a member of an already well-established group and SM at the time needed someone to get itself more revenue considering that HOT and SES had disbanded not long after - hence they dedicated a lot of resources to her and BoA herself actually was influenced to join the showbizz, mainly thanks to Seo Taiji. There's a reason why SM offered her a contract when she accompanied her brother in auditions - because she proved herself whereas Dani was just picked off the streets out of the blue. Also note that BoA actually went through a decent amount of training as well - two years, as opposed to Dani who hasn't reached half that length and couldn't even speak Korean properly.

Yea well, generally speaking K-dramas aren't very good (actually, more like awfully terrible and cliche) at portraying what schools in Korea really are like, unless you count Jungle Fish 2, which may be the closest it gets to reality though even that has its flaws. The Dream High series and God of Study drama shouldn't be taken seriously at all when it comes to taking a look on how schools in Korea are actually like. As one who's actually attended both middle and high school in Korea, it seems that Dani has little to no idea what Korean schools really are like. Glad I moved back to NZ to finish the remainder of my secondary education. No regrets, other than that I left a few good friends whom I'd never likely see again.

Even if she did get in college, that's not going to save her from bearing horrendous schedules under that old pretentious freakshow. Hell, lot of other idols are enrolled in universities/college but barely ever attend due to the amount of work they have - yet it probably likely doesn't even mount up to T-ara's load in comparison.

Oddly enough, Qri's outfit sort of reminds me of the stuff I saw in Japan way back in 2007. Ah, Harajuku...good times, goood times. She actually looks quite relaxed in this event, as opposed to Hyomin who seems uhh...I don't know, a bit stiff? I also just noticed Qri's ears are quite big for their size O__o

Given how only barely recently Sexy Love was released in Korea, I'd have to strongly question the motives of releasing a Japanese version so early on. T-ara sure as hell didn't release the Japanese versions of all their other tracks so soon after the original versions so why this one all of a quick sudden? I'm guessing the money earned from the K-version and Mirage as a whole didn't satisfy CCM enough >__> @xbot - the timing couldn't be any worse but honestly, competing against Kara in Japan is a bit far-fetched since Kara itself is massively popular and successful in Japan than any other K-idol group.

Even Hyomin has confessed about being poorly fed on TV before, where Hyuna joked to her that Hyomin should move over to Cube because the latter feeds its idols decently. And if they're chosen to diet specific ways, then why does Boram look like she's been released from a labor camp? CCM, if you're gonna lie, at least make it believable or don't say anything at all.

Also to say they're 'more simple and pure' than others of their age is a bit pushing far. While such words may fit into Jiyeon since she only turned 19 this year, Eunjung and Hyomin are in their early-mid 20s and have attended middle and high school just like any other teenager and I highly doubt they actually skipped school for training either (aside from after-school study hours which is compulsory in every high school minus the technical ones to a degree). Considering the hellish work environment they're in however (and the industry in general as a whole), it's hard to believe they'd be 'simple and pure' minded people and not have conflicts with each other along the way. I don't think physical bullying as a highly likely chance but verbal abuse and ostracization are still certain and cannot be denied when it comes to a third party's POV (namely fans, the average Joe and even those that don't like T-ara). Though I think what Mr Cha may have specifically meant is Korea's online community, not Korean society as a whole. The online community itself played a severe and lethal role a while back, ultimately leading to Choi Jinsil's suicide, coupled with other factors. Even as a guy, I have to admit that I like Eunjung's jacket/cardigan/or-whatever-you-call-it, though the purple bag feels a bit off with the grey and black. But aside from that, as a few others indicated here, both of them look either exhausted, gloomy or just in a real bad mood. Then again, considering they're still being overworked to the bone despite that scandal (which should have kept them lying low for an extended period of time), I guess such expressions should have been at least half-expected.

This article is just far too vague. Is this drama actually produced by SBS itself? Last time I heard, Five Fingers wasn't, SBS only doing the broadcasting. Not the producing, which was handled by a drama production company. Really now? More promotions in Japan for the first half of next year? Great, so they're being overworked even more, only now that it seems even more serious than this year's amount. *Facepalm*.

I highly doubt SBS would even allow Eunjung to be on any dramas it's airing in the near future. Sure, maybe the production company actually producing the drama (people, keep in mind that SBS only does the broadcasting and giving the green light, at least judging from 5 Fingers) wants to cast her but the same cannot be agreed about SBS. What I'm more curious is why 'Eunjung's agency' denies her casting. The whole thing is just so vague here. And speaking of which, whatever actually happened to that lawsuit against the Five Fingers producers? The last time we all heard, Eunjung (or CCM, technically) threw a lawsuit but since then, nothing else has been reported about it while Eunjung was promoting Sexy Love with the rest of the group as usual. Some thing is definitely a bit fishy here.

No problem at all haha. Just trying to do my little part I would though say the opposite goes to Boram however. Compared to T-ara's early days, heck, even the LD and DBD promotions, Boram actually looks a bit sick and very skeletal herself, with the massive and unexpected weight loss in recent times up to the point she could probably seen as the current skinniest idol. Her legs look also terribly bruised for some reason, added with her fragile health not making things any better

I understand how you feel about the haters in AKP but honestly, there isn't much that can be done about that place. It's best to ignore the people there. Besides, the fandom in general has been pissed off with CCM a LOT this year and the last thing they need to do is be concerned with a group of people behind the keyboard throwing mud all over the place. They're only going to laugh back at you if you fight back, hence creating a fanwar, something that isn't necessary at current.

Aite guys and girls, I just went through the whole vid (robbe_881 - thank you very much for providing the HD version ) and while I can't provide a full translation due to the length of the footage, I'll describe this out as best as I can (for those asking, I'm Korean here so the language is no barrier to me at all, though the music background could have been lower in audio so I may have not heard everything correctly - or maybe my speakers are just...well, ah whatever). I really must say, I'm terribly sad to tell those who were expecting the girls to come forward regarding the scandal had expected too much. In fact, the first half of the video had nothing to do with 'confession' at all and was more set to their showcase in Malaysia. When the group were altogether in the hotel room (after the ad break) where the subject regarding that mess was talked about, Hwayoung herself was not even directly mentioned and they were actually very, very vague as to what occurred and even then, spent a great deal of the second half of the show mostly talking about themselves and the group as a whole. What Soyeon did however, admit (note - this has little to nothing to do with the scandal) is that way back in the BPBP days, the group was particularly starved and forced into something that may be seen as a severe diet up to the point that when other idols or singers that were their seniors (in terms of how long they were in the industry) usually left behind leftovers after performances, the girls actually grabbed as much as they could - particularly snacks and gimbap, shoved such food in their pockets and even ate them in the toilets to avoid getting caught. That....is pretty darn nasty. When Areum says that what she's going through doesn't even amount to even one bit of what T-ara had to go through since debut, Soyeon then lets out that there were quite a lot of moments that the members cried. Basically, the title of the show 'Confession' is rather quite misleading. In fact, none of the members look even willing to spill anything in detail at all - in other words, what exactly transpired. I'd even go to say it did little to nothing to actually contradict what antis, netizens believe. And why? The most likely reason is that what they say is being filtered and monitored by a certain someone (no prizes to guessing who that is). CCM is part of Mnet Media itself (and Mnet Channel is the one broadcasting this) - there's no way they'd let anything in detail be told at all, no matter how much T-ara wants to speak out for themselves without internal consequences. All in all, it's rather disappointing, even for me who didn't expect much out of it. If anyone wants to ask for more details of what they said, feel free to PM me. Thanks! Whether if they actually know how divided the fandom has become or simply that they're concerned with the crap we had to pull over with from antis or netizens as a whole is debatable, as they were quite vague with this too.

It's not entirely confirmable but at earliest, it should be at some point next year I believe (though this may only apply to some members, not all). It seems to differ greatly depending on who's signed in, considering Lee Hyori was signed in for only 3 years while Yangpa stayed only for a year and left not so long ago. Davichi was also signed in for 4 years prior to leaving recently. Though honestly, I don't really see much of a chance of the name 'T-ara' being used even if all the members leave at the same time. If they do move to another label as a group, chances are that they'll probably comeback under a different name - and that is assuming KKS isn't butthurt up to the point he'd try blacklisting them.

T-ara's lifespan would be lucky to even break the infamous 5-year-curse >___> Supposedly, some of the members' contracts are expiring at some point next year (I suspect this may strongly apply to Boram and Qri in particular) and looking how overworked they've been this whole year, fans should really prepare themselves of the possibility that most of the current members will not continue on being in T-ara once those contracts expire. Considering that CCM's future looks also awfully bleak and with its image completely tarnished in the eyes of the public, there's little reason for them to stay any longer. Davichi didn't renew their contracts with CCM for a good reason. Dani's year of birth - 1999 Jiyeon's year of birth - 1993 A six year gap is nowhere near to 'almost the same age' at all.

I'm going to have to argue against this supposed belief that she's like a 'kid sister' to the current members, namely the original six. At an environment like Kpop, where the members themselves have been shoved down the belief that they're replaceable at a whim at any moment's glance (as it has occurred to Hwayoung), there is little to no reason for them to accept her at all in their own minds, especially considering they've worked tooth-and-nail for three years to get to where they are while being constantly threatened by their own boss and treated like lifeless robots. For example, do you think the members of a military special forces unit would accept a raw fresh recruit with zero experience meddle along with them in operations? Hell no, unless the said recruit proves himself. Or for a more casual example, do you think a classroom o high school seniors in a typical Korean public school would accept a freshman simply because the principal ordered it? No. And no, siblings don't necessarily 'share' their trophies either. I have a younger brother who's won a lot of trophies, medals, certificates and all that alike over the years and is highly proud of them - up to the point that he doesn't let anyone even lay a finger on them, much less take a photo with them. Why? Because I understand he worked his way up to achieve that and it's his to keep and his credit alone, his decision.

It'll be interesting how both K-fans and Intl' fans along with the general Kpop community will react when she does join. I predict another drop of fan numbers. Perhaps not as big as the time when Hwayoung was kicked out but regardless, a noticeable amount. For one thing, it should be expected that a lot of people won't be too pleased.

That's the problem. Concepts. T-ara would be severely hindered in branching out for more mature concepts such as DBD, SL and IGCBOY etc. as a result, not to mention the K-government in recent times has decided to tighten up on laws regarding costumes and choreography (or something along those lines) when it comes down to minors. Personally, the idea of a group of fully grown women all 20+ doing aegyo concepts is rather silly and utterly forced-looking at best.

You'd have to consider though that during September and this month, there weren't any other comparable girl groups competing throughout Sexy Love's promotions, unless you count in SECRET, which is nowhere near T-ara's popularity even before the scandal while KARA had already started some time before with Pandora in August. Add in that 2NE1, SISTAR, SNSD and WG etc. are also not promoting in Korea at the time reduces whatever comparable competition T-ara had to face with other girl groups.

I couldn't agree any more with these three posts. At worst, I think fans should really start worrying about the possibility of T-ara taking AS or AKB-48's path. This is quite distressing really, adding in that they've been promoting far too much this year (possibly even more so than last year or at least in a comparable scale), it's just asking for another round of trips to the hospital. Hell, they may be the most prone of all K-idol groups to hospital visits. Considering the current members are barely holding out with the amount of over-promotions, it makes no sense for someone twice as young as Boram and Qri to hold out any better.

THIS. The possibility of this being a publicity stunt is very likely, if not the actual intent of CCM. If anyone recalls, this is the very agency that seems to think any sort of publicity is good publicity, regardless of whatever consequences lie in wait for T-ara as a result of such. Adding in that it's Mnet that's broadcasting this makes it just as fishy.

Considering that KKS's statements contradicted one after the other so many times while keeping the members quiet until it was a tad a bit too late with the damage already being done (not to mention their comeback was rushed and it showed that CCM had absolute disregard for public opinion - which is idiotic because this is how K-culture is - you apologize and keep your head down immediately regardless if you're in the right or wrong, something CCM failed to do), y'all can't expect the netizens to be very forgiving, yet alone the public in general. What I'd be more concerned is that this whole thing is broadcasted by Mnet, in which CCM is part of and no prizes to guessing who's in charge of both. People that are not fans will be highly suspicious about the whole thing being filtered in KKS's favor, considering that K-public attitude towards T-ara as a whole is still not very warm at the moment and it can't be denied that he'll take whatever steps to play that down (something in which CCM is notorious with over the years).
