[12.06.26] T-ara's Soyeon cast in KBS drama "Haeundae Lovers"





T-ara's leader Soyeon has been cast in the drama "Haeundae Lovers".
"Haeundae Lovers" begins airing on KBS after "Big" and is a romantic comedy that centers on prosecutor Lee Taesung (Kim Kangwoo) who chases after gangsters but ends up losing his memory. Soyeon will play the role of Lee Gwansun, a bright and bubbly character.
Soyeon previously showed off her acting skills in the musical "Our Youth Roly-Poly" and the SBS drama "Giant" but this will be her first time acting in a permanent recurring role.
Soyeon said, "Eunjung has been steadily acting since she was a child and Hyomin and Jiyeon who also acted before were eager to give me a lot of adivce. I'll work hard in my first drama role to make sure Eunjung, Hyomin, and Jiyeon aren't embarrassed by my acting skills."
KBS "Haeundae Lovers" features Kim Kangwoo, Jun Sukwon, Jo Yoojung and begins airing on August 13th after "Big" finishes.

My memory on SNSD's pre-debut info sure is a lot rustier than imagined, being a former Soshi fan and all haha.
Though I'm assuming the one who convinced her to audition at SM probably was someone her uncle knew fairly well lol.
Good luck trying to explain that to a lot of the people here, since there's more than just her 'enthusiasm' (whether if it's from her own words or just a poorly-thought publicity stunt remains to be seen) that has peeved off the fandom here overall.
Imagine if say, SM decided to add new members into SNSD or YG doing it to Big Bang. The response from fans would be no different - only that the scale of it would be over double the amount.

When I meant reassured, I was specifically referring to the idea of a boycott there since you gave out a solid argument on why it would be counterproductive, among others but I won't dwell too much further into it.
Considering that the K-fans also don't seem to be doing much (at least to my knowledge), we also can't discount the possibility that the girls themselves even question the loyalty of their fans in regards to the incompetence of CCM and it's not like they have free time to surf the web to be fully aware themselves. Diadems itself is a small fandom alone and it's not like the T-ara members are fluent in English. Regardless of how much they want to pursue their careers, there's a clear limit on how much punishment a human body can tolerate (and in Boram's case, it looks like it's dangerously close than the others).
Hell, I'd even say they lost more than gained in the long run than other popular female idol groups out there (GG, 2NE1, Kara, WG) in terms of health and stability - while these groups themselves are also overworked themselves, never did I recall any of them having a bigger rate of trips to the hospital due to being overworked more than T-ara.
Frankly, I'd even rather see them disband or split up than have to work under such conditions any longer.
Ultimately, I believe that the fans should be more concerned for the health, wellbeing etc. of T-ara (as well as the members' opinions themselves - honest ones at that) rather than soaring popularity as the latter is a highly double-bladed issue in their case - the unfortunate thing is (at least in my opinion), it seems to be the other way around with many.

we need to create a boycott for the next album to get ccm to listen. you may not like it but i has to be done to keep t-ara fighting 7-ara forever

Guys,can you still recall in 2010 during the time when Hwayoung was added?A few of them said it was so difficult to re-learn the choreographies.Now,they need to RE-LEARN the choreographies twice since not only one,but two of them are about to be added.

The only way to make him listen to the fans if the fans themselves organize a boycott against T-ara's album next month - as much as it would put a huge damage on T-ara as a whole, it's the only way that can knock some sense into him.
T-ara isn't going to be disbanded or become a huge flop over one album having bad sales as they're among the top tier groups in Korea so I'd say it's worth a shot. The main source of income is of course, from the fans - if the fans organize something of their own against him, then definite results occur.

I don't even know why people are comparing Dani to BoA; it's completely different. Like people have mentioned, BoA debuted as a solo artist, and furthermore, she was actually TALENTED AND TRAINED enough to do it - Dani? I don't know about talent, but she sure as hell doesn't have the training.
And to some extent I think the dislike towards her is justified - Dani practically brought it on herself by accepting the offer to join T-ara; just because she's a kid doesn't mean I have to overlook the fact that she's completely ruining the group dynamics with her presence. Say she's young and doesn't understand the consequences if you'd like, but I think a 14-year-old should be cognizant enough to realize that she'll get haters.
It doesn't help that this debuting early crap just makes her look like even more of a whiny kid who wants fame. Sorry for being harsh, but =/

Yup.RM stands for Ringgit Malaysia which also means Malaysian Dollars.For foreigners,they might find it quite cheap and reasonable (even for people who live in Japan and Korea or even Singaporean) but for us,local,find it hella expensive.
But yeah,for most international artists who performed in Malaysia (Kelly Clarkson,Avril L,Maroon 5,etc) ,we also need to pay a lot of money in order to go to the concert.But still, for a Malaysian,it's extremely expensive.

I really dont get why concerts for T-ara are expensive or above the average ticket price.
It's not like they will open up the ceiling of the concert venue and fireworks lights up the sky or provide us T-shirts.
