  1. [12.08.03] T-ara are victims of reckless reporters T-ara are victims of unconfirmed reports in the media. Recently, the bullying situation began with a few tweets and reports saying Hwayoung was bullied in T-ara. Suspicions that idol groups have bullying in them have been around forever, and didn't just start yesterday. But the recent bullying accusations have exploded and attracted more attention than ever before. A problem that lies within this is that there is so much interest in the case, that reports are being published in the press just to increase views and clicks on their website which is the wrong attitude. To confirm the allegations that first began about bullying, netizens went and dug up various things that happened in the past. Excerpts from various different broadcasts were brought up through screen-captures and questioned, but they were not originally a problem when they first aired. The reports spread throughout the media were written without going through a verification process. Reports that were contacting representatives from the broadcasts were also hard to find. In addition to making screen-captures of various broadcasts, rumors have been circulating about T-ara. False and malicious rumors, such as "gangs" and the like, have been circulating online because of "netizens suspicions," but like the screen-captures, they have not been verified. The "trainee" was proven to be false, and the "back-dancer" report as well, but both spread before any confirmation had been done. Some even have gone far to force evidence and say that Hwayoung left a hidden message, "fans only know," in her Twitter message but the truth is it's different depending on where you look at the image. Websites gain revenue through clicks on ads on their website, and these reckless and unprofessional reports being spread attract attention and revenue for whoever reports it. The bullying allegations first started on July 28th through Twitter messages and continued until the 2nd. T-ara related searches dominated every popular search ranking on various portal sites. The Olympics began, but T-ara's scandal has attracted more attention and higher interest. The topic located at the center is that journalists recklessly report things posted online without getting confirmation just for a few more clicks on their website. Hwayoung recently posted on Twitter, "Please stop now and look forward to when I'll return with a new more mature and sophisticated image." The situation is at a point where it's finally calmed down. *** Source: http://news.nate.com/view/20120802n20672 Translated by: Nathaniel @ Diadem

  2. found on tumclr(its quite long) Hwayoung is bullied? ashortmomentinlife: As a pro T-ara Queen’s I wouldn’t force people that tries to defame T-ara to read this post. If you are anti-T-ara and you are unwilling to accept what we pro-T-ara thinks in this matter, you are advised to leave this post immediately. Since the controversy started, we Queen’s have been going through so much pain in defending what we had always believe in. When the sudden influx of antis just flooded in, we remain calm and choose to believe in T-ara. We waited for the official announcement to prove them wrong, but antis seems unconvinced. Angered, they began to search for evidence that Hwayoung is indeed bullied to strengthen their foundation. They said that the agency is lying and all sorts of things refusing to accept the official statement. Even when Hwayoung herself convey the message for them to stop all these, they would give excuses such as Hwayoung being forced to tweet. When an article about Hwayoung apologising to Kim KwangSoo after this whole incident, they choose to ignore that has ever happened and AGAIN return to prove that Hwayoung is bullied. They refuse to give the scandal a rest, in the name of pro-Hwayoung fans. I’m sad to say but they have failed to notice the real importance here. Hwayoung had always been a very obedient girl. As the second maknae in the group, it is only normal in this society where age matters significantly, that Hwayoung listened well to her unnies. Taking advantage of these, more evidences had been gathered and finally, even the Queen’s that has hold on so far began to waver, and T-ara is losing their fans day by day. It’s really unfortunate, but I’ll just say this one more time: What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. We, the Queen’s, swear to stand by T-ara side, through their ups and downs. We will, in the name of T-ara, defend T-ara through any controversies. When T-ara commit mistakes, we accept their mistakes and lead them to the right path. When T-ara achieve milestones, we celebrate as one unit, and embrace the sense of togetherness. In this difficult times, we will not falter, we will not be misled, we will stay strong, and come back as a stronger individuals. Evidence time: I’ve been browsing through the web these few days and THANKFULLY, som

  4. 5. Next is this. First of all, this is not a Hello Baby scene, it is T-ara Pretty Boys Ep 10 scene. Practically, people are making claims that T-ara members are ignoring Hwayoung and is only complimenting Qri’s work. When Hwayoung asked for some praises as well, none of the T-ara members actually bother to praise her. Hyomin immediately change the conversation topic. I don’t know what’s wrong with you people but at 49:11 of this video clip (Pretty Boys Ep 10) Boram actually said you did well. Hyomin wouldn’t respond to Hyomin because she’s talking to Soyeon at that moment. Jiyeon and Eunjung is too far at the end to hear since Hwayoung’s aegyo way of asking for praise is too soft like (*whisper* praise my coloring as well *whisper) Qri can’t praise her obviously cause she’s in the same team as Hwayoung. So of course the camera will focus on Hyomin who is not taking any suggestion by Soyeon as it’s cute to see those two argue. People tend to only notice this but they missed out this part in the same episode: Jiyeon personally feeding Hwayoung. C’mon people, be realistic. If you want to look at things from a single point of view than we Queen’s too have our own point of view. If you can prove Hwayoung is not on good relationship with T-ara members, we can prove otherwise as well. This is getting endless. Please just stop this and have peace. 6. This time it’s another screen cap from T-ara pretty boys Ep 8. This time the accusations are the coat beside Hyomin are left there so that Hwayoung can be isolated at the other end and be bullied? Really? Look at MY Evidence this time In this episode, the episode start off without Soyeon and Hyomin because they have other activities to attend to. They joined in later when they’re done with their activities. This picture shows exactly when they rejoin the show. (They are just about to sit down). As you can see, before they arrived, only Boram and Qri is sitting there and there’s an open space. Hwayoung is the one that choose to sit at the end for no reason. And please use your common sense, let’s say there’re four people on the sofa, who on earth would actually want to squeeze in and sit uncomfortably (even if you said it will be comfortable but please, a single chair beside Boram will DEFINITELY be more comfortable and has more space) when you can just sit comfortably to the left of the sofa. And people are saying Hwayoung is ignored. My evidence say otherwise though. If you look at episode 8 at exactly 16:08, you can see the members are discussing with Hwayoung about things (doesn’t matter what they’re talking about, the point is THEY ARE NOT IGNORING HER AND THEY ARE TALKING). Case closed. 7. Bashers, you really need to state your sources clearly. For this picture you said it’s from Star Life Theater and I scan for hours and cannot find anything. Stop trolling! It’s from Hello Baby Ep 11 Dumpling-Making time. Your accusations for this part is that they refuse to put in Hwayoung’s dumpling because the soup will overflow. And this is bullying? Seriously? Have you guys even look at how big is Hwayoung’s dumpling? Soyeon’s dumpling is big too but she’s the one cooking obviously she will cook hers first right? Common sense, survival of the fittest, human selfishness, place self before others. C’mon, I’ll show you how big is Hwayoung’s dumpling. It’s that big people and the pot is just that small (refer to first image for this accusation). And it’s not like Soyeon refused to cook. If you look at 37:00 of Hello Baby E11 onwards, they decided to steam hwayoung’s dumpling. If this is a bully case, they wouldn’t even bother to show their nice sides and just throw away the dumplings. Case closed. This is a stupid accusation. -__- 8. Picture says it all. I guess you people are too lazy to find the video so I’ll just help you guys search it and prove that Hyomin didn’t do it on purpose. There specifically cut by responsible individual to prove that Hyomin’s is not doing it on purpose. 9. Maybe you guys keep referencing it wrongly because you’re afraid it may be proved wrong. Again this is referenced to Hello baby. THIS IS TAKEN FROM T-ARA PRETTY BOYS EPISODE 10!!! The accusation say, Hwayoung ask for a candy and soyeon SPECIFICALLY choose for Hwayoung the candy that had dropped on the floor. NO! Hwayoung said “can I have the grape flavoured one?” at 14:11 of the episode. Soyeon DID NOT choose the candy for her. And Soyeon did not DROP THE CANDY on the floor. The candies stayed on the cup throughout the episode. Soyeon is just cracking joke with Hwayoung saying that the candy had dropped on the floor. Anyway, Hwayoung ALMOST eaten the candy. She hasn’t eaten it yet. After Soyeon tells her it dropped on the floor, she still choose to eat it (with video effect at 14:22 saying “it’ll still taste the same”) This is a case closed. Definitely. Weak evidence. 10. Accusation: Hwayoung being left out. This image is so wrong. From the plain look of it, (from a neutral point of view) Boram will be difficult to wrap her arms around hwayoung’s neck due to the difference in height. If it is anyone to wrap her arms around others, it should be Hwayoung. She is tall and exactly being my point is, other members lift their two arms, sure Boram may be at fault if you guys insist, but isn’t Hwayoung at fault too for not taking initiative to wrap her arms around boram’s neck? You wanna play with picture: cr. · So-yeon Park (박소연) (소연) T-ara (티아라)’s photos there, happy? Boram lifted her arms, but where is Hwayoung’s arms? I’m not bashing Hwayoung but if you guys are taking advantage of hwayoung to bash T-ara then we’ll just have to use your weapon against yours. Anyway, very clear cut. Case closed. 11. Yes?! You people post this GIF and commented “………..” really? Where’s the reference? Wasted my 10 minutes searching for this. This is from Pretty Boys EP 9. Stop looking at the GIF and judge. Look at my JPG and then u come and judge I’m amazed at how adept your skills are at cutting video seriously. You cut it exactly at the point when hwayoung will be smiling… This is a joke, PLAYED BY HWAYOUNG, ON BORAM!. Boram was just reacting according to what hwayoung is expecting, and hwayoung after seeing that smiles and feels happy. Lousy evidence that waste alot of my time.. Case closed. 12. You’re saying that nobody help Hwayoung but other groups have others helping them. OK so this is bullying on hwayoung. Wanna see something more shocking than this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BefRJirL-Ks I don’t see how, Soyeon, who injured her leg as well, is able to sing Lovey dovey while standing on crutches. It hurts us Queen’s seeing hwayoung injured and has to stand using crutch. But please stop posting these trivial things to bash T-ara. If Soyeon can stand and sing, I don’t see how Hwayoung can’t stand and TALK. Furthermore, they have two crutches, more than enough in keeping balance. This evidence is pure nonsensical. Purely hostile. 13. Pictures after pictures. This evidence show that Hwayoung is being left out again. I’m getting tired of this. I’m gonna post pictures as well then. By the way, this is the opening scene of Star Life Theater episode 4 (just for the sake of those who don’t know what is called crediting sources) They started off standing in one line. Then Hyomin being the smart aleck walk out of the line to tell a cool joke Other T-ara members find it funny so they laugh. I don’t know why but Hwayoung doesn’t find it funny so she just stand there feeling awkward. This is totally not a outcast situation. Boram is looking at Hwayoung direction. Hyomin is looking at the direction of the members because she’s trying to tell the joke to everyone without blocking the camera. If she face hwayoung direction, it makes it seems like she’s only telling it to hwayoung. Using your common sense, it’s only right that for Hyomin to tell a joke to everyone she has to face the majority side. If only hwayoung followed with the laughter, this evidence would be void. nevertheless, it’s too weak of an evidence anyway. Case closed. 14. [TRANS] @rhy422 Kaka Park Dino build a dog..but the dog look so tired…it didnt comb the hair and it went into my room already…Park Dino please don’t bully your dog..T.T Wah..pic.twitter.com/X7yNrBEO cr. MyTara Accusation said it’s a gift from Jiyeon to her. The accusation further emphasises that the acorn in a dog bowl according to old korean saying means an outcast. However, the translation doesn’t even talk anything about Jiyeon giving it to Hwayoung. Park Dino please don’t bully YOUR dog! It’s Jiyeon’s dog not even Hwayoung’s. And you think Jiyeon would bother conveying message of outcast by some old Korean idiom when we all know she’s not even the study type, she won’t even be thinking of old idioms. Jiyeon merely build the dog because that’s just happen to be the shape the lego she’s playing. Not to mention Jiyeon has recently been addicted to playing Lego because she finds it extremely interesting. No hidden message, stop overthinking guys. It’s like saying why does the wind blow to the northeast, maybe there’s gold in that direction. Stop finding lame evidence to prove bullying, it ain’t working yo. 15. Accusation: Soyeon leg bump into hwayoung and Soyeon grabs her hand and tell her not to touch it. First of all Soyeon’s leg didn’t bump into Hwayoung’s leg. It seems like that because this GIF is generated super fast. I’ve seen the GIF frame by frame and only Soyeon’s skirt has minimal contact with Hwayoung’s leg. (So why did Hwayoung’s leg get a reaction?) First of all, hwayoung is not trying to open the can, she’s just trying to point at it. (I can’t read hangul but I suppose there’s something special about that can) And Soyeon did not tell hwayoung to not touch it because they don’t even talk. The atmosphere is so tense the two of them didn’t even talk. hwayoung’s move back because whoever opening the can (I dunno whose hand is it) is opening the can, and need I repeat myself, the can has something. Hwayoung is not even planning to open it, the first time she reached forward, she would have grabbed that can if she want to open it. Soyeon grab hwayoung’s wrist area cause they’re excited of what’s inside the can (normal reaction, when you’re nervous, you tend to hold onto others for support). You can say I’m talking crap now but I’m not. Use Microsoft GIF animator and load this GIF frame by frame (that is, if you’re even bothered to do so). Case closed. 16. Basically, this is stupid.. the article is just saying that the one who posted this comes from a girl group and she’s a new addition to the team and that she feels like an outcast. First of all, everyone can use the username Suk Ryu. I can use a username Bond? So I’m James Bond? Secondly, T-ara doesn’t have any initials. T-ara is T-ara, it’s not like T-ara = Tremendously-aboriginal rat amaranth. (OK I just made that up) T-ara is T-ara. It’s not SUJU = SUper JUnior. It’s not like SISTAR = SISter sTAR. T-ara is T-ara. Just like the incident about Jiyeon slapping Hwayoung proves to be a stupid prank by some teen. This post isn’t valid until there’s real evidence showing real identity of the user. Username doesn’t defined somebody. Hey, let’s make pikachan87. So basically I’m a Pikachu-chan (female Pikachu) and I’m born in 1987. Be realistic people. username can be everyone. 17. This is like the hot topic everywhere: Boram broke Hwayoung’s umbrella. No comment on this one. Watch this video, you antis are too dumb. 18. Basically this picture is saying that Hwayoung is forced to mix with Infinite and Sistar because T-ara unnies abandon her again. Yes this picture says so but I demand you people who use this as evidence to show that hwayoung is bullied to watch this video The video clearly shows Hwayoung and T-ara members are tlaking to each other. 19. I don’t know how many times people are going to use T-ara Pretty Boys ep 10 as evidence to show that Hwayoung is being outcasted here. I even posted the photo of Jiyeon and Hwayoung being friendly. Soyeon being friendly. She’s not being outcasted. You’re all just cutting the whole damn video to make her look so pity. Here, I’m fed up, just watch the whole episode here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFVa6r31Hfc&list=PL8D72FA6185610F6F&index=10&feature=plpp_video 20. Seriously all these pictures? The first picture is Hwayoung walking slowly, what has it got to do with other T-ara members. The second picture is not even valid. How can you guarantee that Hwayoung is not walking to the front of the line. Picture only captures exact moment, you need to use videos to present this kind of evidence. And also, you need to give sources. There’s too many of T-ara at airport video I don’t even know which one is this. When you’ve found it come back and argue with me. Antis. 21. There is violence? O_O C’mon, stop cutting video as I said. this is from Hello Baby episode 2. Jiyeon and Soyeon failed to dress Mavin within time limit and thus failed to become the Moon brothers omma. Before this GIF, Mason and Hwayoung is feeding each other food. Hyomin instigated this by saying “They’re on a date ya~” Jiyeon is jealous cause she cannot be the mom so she KIDDINGLY hit Hwayoung. Look at Hwayoung expression after being hit here: C’mon people. If I hit you like Jiyeon did without a joking context, would you still smirk? Look at Hwayoung’s face, she’s smiling!! If Jiyeon really hit Hwayoung that seriously, don’t you think Hwayoung should glare. Once again please stop cutting videos to prove the wrong thing. You can’t force a positive fact to be negative. 22. So Jiyeon never HI-5 Hwayoung and you said it’s bullying.. But you guys just stop it there and accept that fact. Look at this picture below: Jiyeon is a playful girl. She kissed Hwayoung! So? Tell me how is not being hi-5ed is more cruel than not being kissed. Once again, I want you all to know that people that are angry will GLARE! Not smile OK?! 23. This is about the framer trying to frame Jiyeon slapping Hwayoung. The framer has been caught and it’s just a teen so Core Contents decided not to press charges. Have fun reading from your favorite anti-t-ara site: http://www.allkpop.com/2012/08/op-ed-guilty-until-proven-innocent-the-lynch-mob-against-t-ara-and-whos-really-to-blame If you are all really concern about T-ara news. I shouldn’t be posting this about the rumour that Jiyeon slapped Hwayoung is a fake one. You guys should be well aware that Jiyeon did not slapped Hwayoung as reported by T-ara back dancer group leader from Yama & Hotchicks. If you antis feel offended or feel that any of my counter-evidence is not appropriate, kindly use etiquette to tell me or else you can make your way out of my blog. THANKS FOR READING FIGHT FOR REAL JUSTICE So conclusion, Is Hwayoung bullied? ARE YOU DUMB?? HELL NAW!

  5. [12.08.02] Jo Harang comment on T-ara's situation "It must stop now!" Jo Harang decided to speak about T-ara's current situation of bullying. Jo Harang tweeted on July 30th, "You're here, but you're invisible. One day feels like a year, breathing is easy but you feel uneasy. The entertainment industry has the same environment as schools, companies, societies, institutes...This witch-hunting must stop for sure!" The next day, Jo Harang continued to post on Twitter this: "Starting from a young age, children start to acknowledge that you need to work hard in life [to get what you want], and you focus on this so much that you don't put any of your time into building a "relationship" and lack social skills. Lacking the experience of having a social life and troubles to maintain a relationship doesn't fade away when you suddenly elevate yourself into a high position (celebrey/famous)." Jo Harang was a member of "Jewelry", a group that also had to face a bullying controversy in the past, with her being the "witch-hunted member." Jo Harang tweeted again 31th July, exposing her uncomfortable heart: "The problem is brought by the public with a witch-hunt, even if it's not true [the rumor of bullying]. It was hard for me, back then, to have to read such articles [about me]. It is important [for T-ara] to overcome this and to live in the present." Netizens have reacted to these tweets saying thing like "Jo Harang seems to have troubles in her heart", "it seems that even idols are now refocusing themselves on the truth." "We need to brush off [this rumor] now" **** Source: http://news.nate.com.../20120802n30382 Translated by: shining star`★ @diadem *Usually don't post articles about Tweets from T-ara/other celebrities in the news section but this is different because she went through the same exact situation as the T-ara members being "witch-hunted."

  7. "The situation is at a point where it's finally calmed down." Finally is right. This whole thing has been blown waaaay out of proportion by anti-fans and ex-"Queen's", or so they would have called themselves a while back. Kind of makes me sad that these are people who once called themselves T-ara fans and supporters. Some support they're giving, eh? I've also started noticing that things are more calm than they were say three or four days ago. Hopefully this means that T-ara will finally start having some sort of peace. Whatever the case, T-ara will take something from this. If the bullying is true, then they will learn that bullying has severe consequences. If it's not true, then perhaps they will learn that a few ambiguous tweets, followed by another ambiguous tweet can lead to trouble. And that their "fanbase" isn't exactly stable, so it'd be best to act accordingly. I do know that internal conflicts will arise. That's a given, and it doesn't happen exclusively to T-ara. Hopefully next time an issue arises within T-ara, they will know not to reveal it to the public and to try their best to resolve any problems they have.

  8. [12.08.02] T-ara to reach 150,000 fans in Japanese arena tour next year T-ara plans to embark on an arena tour next year in Japan. T-ara's Japanese agency EMI JAPAN and J-ROCK have said, "All artists dream of being able to have arena tours. T-ara is planning to have an arena tour in Japan next year." According to their Japanese agency, T-ara want to reach over 150,000 Japanese fans in the arena tour which will begin next year. T-ara had a Japanese tour earlier this year with performances in Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sendai, Sapporo and their finale on the 25th and 26th at the Budokan Hall in Tokyo. Performing at Budokan is a dream for Japanese artists, and T-ara was one of the first Korean acts to perform there. Despite being on a weekday, the 20,000 two-day concert was completely sold out. EMI JAPAN and J-ROCK said, "T-ara have received an explosive reaction with Japanese fans. We're begining the early preparations for the arena tour right now." T-ara finished "Day by Day" promotions and now Eunjung, Hyomin and Soyeon are persuing individual activities in dramas. Core Contents Media said, "We hope that the public can welcome back T-ara a little bit by a little bit. They will return with good music and a more mature image after having time to self-reflect and they will continue to try harder and harder." Meanwhile, T-ara will release a new Japanese song "Sexy Love" at the end of October. *** Source: http://news.nate.com/view/20120802n11303 Translated by: Nathaniel @ Diadem

  9. [RUMOR VS FACT] T-ara's bullying case: Evident #6 Netizens post this: Hwayoung is left out The truth is: Okay, I have to admit that K-netizens really good in manipulating information to ruining people’s life. They’re really smart. Okay guys, the 1st & 2nd pictures is screencap from a video. Sorry, I can’t find the video (will update if I find it later). Just like they manipulate the screencap in case #5, they also do the same to this post. Here is the press photos T-ara @ Gimpo International Airport on 4th July 2011. See the difference??? They just capped the video when Hwayoung stay at the back.Smart move, right? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pb1JkY6oWP8&feature=plcp (watch this fancam!) After they posing for the camera, they started to move into the departure hall but Hwayoung move first and some members still posing for the camera. That’s why Hwayoung position is changed and she stay in the back! Okay, now we move on to the 2nd cap. What’s wrong with walking alone??? They’re not a kids that need a parents/adults to hold their hands all the time. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xskf04_120121-t-ara-s-pretty-boys-e05-720p-cut_shortfilms (HYOMIN & SOYEON WALKING ALONE) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uV95fOYZ7LQ (HYOMIN WALKING ALONE) Netizens exaggerated to much??? sorry i can't upload other evidence so just check on tumblr okay Evidence time: I’ve been browsing through the web these few days and THANKFULLY, someone actually made my life easier by compiling the evidence that T-ara had bullied Hwayoung into a post. Now I just have to reference from there. Probably one of the very solid evidence in this scandal. I suppose by now people would have already figured out what the tweets mean (If you really didn’t know, you can go to my Tumblr and check my full report). Anyway, the tweets say everything. In my view, the tweets can be seen as encouragement for each other for their Budokan concert. The reason behind this is because T-ara is the first Korean Girl Group to stand on Budokan stage and it reallly meant a lot for them. So it is important for them to keep the fire burning by cheering each other up. Hwayoung, however, was injured at that time. Hwayoung too felt disappointed for not being able to give her all for this once in a lifetime concert (once in a lifetime as in there will only be one chance for them to stand on the stage as FIRST GIRL GROUP). Keeping this in mind, it’s only normal for her tweet to look a little bit more emotional and sad than the others. She’s cheering herself up. Hyoyoung talked about her other twins going through pain and Hwayoung replied she only has her. They are twin sisters for god sake. They understand each other more than a mother understand her child. The pain that Hwayoung is feeling may be that she’s injured, may be that she can’t give in her best for the concert, but if this scandal proved to be a non-bullying case, then this is pain is definitely not because she’s being bullied. Hyoyoung then tweet another tweet saying having pretty face is useless if your heart is ugly. I’ll just train. Netizens ought to prove that at this point, Hyoyoung is still trying to comfort Hwayoung. It could be conflict in her group between a girl she thinks is much prettier than her. But without solid proof, there is no saying that Hyoyoung is talking on behalf of Hwayoung. If Hyoyoung is really trying to do so, as the older one, (if I am talking on behalf of my younger siblings I would have done it this way): @RHY422 Hwayoung-a Cheer up, having a pretty face doesn’t matter if her heart is ugly. Just be strong, tell unnie if there’s anything troubling you. Hyoyoung would have mentioned Hwayoung! Netizens also used Tarae (Hwayoung rap coach) tweets as evidence. Tarae sounded angry in her tweets and is scolding two bitches. Netizens (in their effort to prove 5-ara guilty) only take notes of this and refuse to post the remaining tweets. Here are the remaining tweets: Second EDIT (making the first edit even more probably irrelevant): Tarae: (1) ㅡㅡ;; What is this. The timing is unbelievable.. Well thank you for interpreting it to encourage Hyoyoung… but when I went to naver after finishing work, why are you dragging me into it!!?? I wrote that to spite the two bitches who disrespected me but… crap… (2) How can thinks get mixed up as much as this… Whether T-ara are fighting or Hwayoung gets hurt, I’m busy enough working to feed myself!!! I’m not interested!!!! Am I meant to be Nostradamus or something? Think for yourselves. Hwayoung, I’m sorry… I didn’t know. xxxx. I’ve become T-ara’s enemy… (3) I just want to work hard on music and give you all good music so don’t take interest in me for things like this. So unfair. Whoever inovlved me in this, come out… I’m going to kill you. (4) jo_suyeon (to Tarae): What;; (5) Tarae (to jo_suyeon): What do you mean what? I just got a million antis for nothing. (6) I didn’t mean that I’m not interested in [don’t pay attention to] Hwayoung, I’m saying I’m too busy. The two!! The two bitches are… who?? Hyomin and Eunjung?? It’s Beyonce and Nicki Minaj!!!! Your interpretations.. I haven’t even spoken to those beauties before. (7) Are you dyslexic?? I care about Hwayoung, i care about her, you little futures of the Republic of Korea.. (8) I have done wrong~~ I’m not only a teacher who cares about Hwayoung but a proud rapper of this country~~ I care~~ It’s true that T-ara fans are scary~~~ ah~ the sudden interest made me pay some attention to the comments~~ I take it back, antis~~~ (9) Let me say it again, the shock that all you fans had, I felt several hundred times that because I’m her teacher so that should be expected. I saw the blog and I was angry but I was even more angry that I was involved. (10) Please continue to support Hwayoung until the end. Take care of her more closely than I have. In spirit and in deep sincerety. (11) I apologise for the few words that I posted that caused so many fans to misunderstand. 12. This reminds me of what AKFG said not long ago - Korean journalism as a whole is a massive joke, since reporters rely on forums and anonymous accounts as their sources for the stuff they report. Actually, the whole Korean media as a whole is a lousy joke to begin with. For those malicious rumors - it's a tossup between either the netizens or Kim Kwang Media itself. The possibility that KKM may have spread those rumors itself can't be denied, considering the girls themselves were literally silent on the whole issue. From this point on, both the Int. and Korean fandoms should start communicating each other more often, cooperate, recover and rebuild. T-Jinyo is still running around active and they're even planning to stage an organized protest outside CCM's building - probably for the wrong reasons since it's KKS himself who should be protested against by everyone. If anyone wants to dare, communicating with their head honchos should be considered as well, since the fans themselves are dying to know the truth too.

  13. I do hope T-ara could make a great comeback. And if their home soil won't accept them, then let the rest of world continue to embrace them (starting with Japan). Even celebrities known to be truly 'problematic', are given second chances (again and again), let's continue to support T-ara. T-ARA fighting!

  14. [12.08.01] Quick News - Jaemin (Eunjung's friend from WGM) tweets supportive message for her - Today I rested for the whole day, secretly browsing the internet and I found EunJung’s news, it’s really sad. She is a very kind hearted child actually…FIGHTING-ah dongsaeng!!!!!!….. - The EunJung I know is very innocent and lonelier than anybody, unlike of a celebrity’s personality. After coming back straight from Japan, not even sleeping for a bit, [she] went to watch the performance by her same age graduates, even until the very end of performance, she is this kind of friend. To her, taking care of people beside her is something she ought to do naturally, even after ten years she is still the same (they have been friends for ten years). Normally I won’t talk about T-ara’s things, but I am too shocked when this incident happens. After [knowing each other] so long, we have become like a family, so I am very heartbroken. Seems like now she is [mentally] exhausted, FIGHTING! Praying that as time passes, everything will turn out fine. I love you, sister. If you watch WGM, you will know he is very, very close to Eunjung! *** Source: @actorajm (Ahn Jae Min – EunJung’s andWooJung’s friend) via http://woojungislove.com/2012/08/01/august-1-jaemin-tweets-supportive-messages-to-eunjung/Kor-Chi Trans: Shapley水の滢 @ WooJung baidu Chi-Eng Trans: @catgoh92

[12.08.02] D-Unit's Wooram, "I was looking forward to the first stage with my sister" After the situation with Hwayoung's contract being terminated and her leave from T-ara, it was announced T-ara would stop all activities and schedules. T-ara's Boram's sister Wooram, who is part of the group D-Unit, has said she was disappointed she couldn't share the stage with her sister yesterday. T-ara was supposed to perform at the SBS "K-POP EXPO Super Concert" yesterday (August 1st). T-ara Boram's real little sister, Wooram, who belongs to the girl group trio D-Unit, also performed. Because of the forced cancellation of activities, Wooram wasn't able to stand next to her sister on stage, which was something she was looking forward to. D-Unit's Wooram said, "I was so excited to stand on the same stage as my sister Boram. But due to the recent internal group problems, we couldn't. I'm a little disappointed by this, but I know my sister will return giving the best of her ability in performances." D-Unit will officially debut on August 3rd. *** Source: http://news.nate.com/view/20120802n11010 Translated by: Nathaniel @ Diadem

It's a pleasure to know that there are still people who are empathetic and think with their brains instead of blindly following or jumping into conclusions. Hopefully 6-ara can recover from this episode and get consoled from reports like this, that clears up misunderstandings. Hope they can regain strength and pick themselves up again. Really want them to be happy again, because they deserves to be (:

  29. Sigh, yet he still shifts the blame toward Hwayoung, the sister and T-ara. Last time I checked it was his dodging the truth and mud-slinging that fueled the fire anyways. How about, "I should've taken better care of my employees who are still very young at heart and mind". Would've at least made him look somewhat sympathetic and grateful for his employees. After all, what is CCM without T-ara.

  34. Written by a Woojung fan about Eunjung and the recent T-ara controversy: Right now, it is as if we are in the centre of a vortex, in the midst of a temporary peace, unsure as to whether we are situated in the darkness before dawn, or whether we are about to face a greater storm. I’ve followed the recent news silently, watching as things turned for the worse, and watching as Eunjung lost, one by one, all her work…losing the things that are the most important to her, things that she has worked for all her life. The hard work that this girl has put in for the past 3 years, all her sweat, determination, painful and sleepless nights, in exchange, she has received the label of “evil.” It’s unfair, really unfair. Too unfair. But things in life are always as such. Because she is the most hardworking, because her work has had the most exposure, she was hurt the most. Had she been out of the spotlight, the harm to her right now would not be as great. But what did she? What did she actually do? These past few days, people have been trying to find blemishes on Eunjung’s profile, and what did they find? An edited video of her feeding rice cake. I cannot help but not say this, but Ham Eun Jung, your blemishes are so small and little that it pains my heart. But just like that, this one example was used to determine a person’s character and to deny her of everything. For a small act of horseplay. Is it fair? No it’s not. But the world does not care about fairness, and it is likely that only the people who love her will care whether this is fair. I am a Woojung fan, but I hae always focused and praised Jangwoo and rarely Eunjung. But today, I want to talk about Eunjung. A lot of people may not know it, but the thing about Eunjung that touched me the most was not her appearance, not her cuteness, not her aegyo. It was something unrelated to appearance, it was what she said: “I’m T-ara’s Eunjung.” It was the “T-ara” that she talked about all the time that made me look at her seriously. This girl, though participating in an individual programme, never forgot to mention and bring up her group. She came to participate in a solo programme that shows off a person’s individual charisma, but it seems as if she also carried the task of getting her group noticed. What impressed me was that she did not treat this as a burden. She really put in all her effort. She asked ahjummas, “Do you know T-ara? T-ara…” When she Roly Poly started playing in the car, she said, “Everybody quiet, listen to this!” Girl group idols who participate in We Got Married are many, but comparatively, T-ara really has been mentioned the most. Roly Poly, Bo Peep Bo Peep, Lovey Dovey…each title song has followed along in We Got Married. Adding to that was the scene in MBC Gayo when Woojung Couple MC-ed together, where Eunjung fought for a chance for T-ara to have screen time. Eunjung weaved through the crowd just to bring her group to the front [T/N: this was seen in a fancam taken just before the countdown]. She was not the only female-idol MC there at the time, but she was the only one who, while participating in a solo activity, thought not of how to get more screen-time for herself, but of how to get more screen-time for T-ara. At the MBC Gayo, Eunjung hurt her ankle…and the result? In less than a week, without rest, Eunjung went on stage to perform after receiving painkillers. This was not some large concert performance, but only a small stage on Music Bank. But for T-ara’s first comeback of the year, she pushed through. Compared to this, filming her drama [Queen Insoo] with a cast is nothing. Such professionalism, pain and determination, her achievements gained in exchange for her blood, sweat, and her own health. In return, she gained this label of “wicked” and “bully”. Is it fair? No it isn’t. Some people say, she came in last at the Idol Olympics, so what does she know about determination? But those people do not know, or pretend not to know, that the day before Idol Olympics, she filmed Running Man until 3am. For a 25 year old girl who has injured her left leg three times – having torn her ligaments, received surgery, received multiple doses of painkillers to perform on stage, having appeared on shows on crutches, having filmed running and jumping the night before until 3am only to wake up early in the morning with a smile on her face to participate in the Idol Olympics, for a girl like this, does coming in last place really mean she has no determination? … Really? Her leg… it can no longer withstand such intense sports anymore. She is only a bird with clipped wings and can no longer fly around easily anymore… This is why I have always looked at this girl with fondness. If she was wicked, lazy, black-hearted, went around lecturing people while not working hard herself, then I would not have nothing to say. But the truth is not like that. Even if only from We Got Married, I can see the effort she puts in to maintain and safeguard T-ara. Even if only from We Got Married, I can still see her professionalism and perserverance for her work. Even the Korean press has reported before that she has the busiest schedule. Let’s look at what the press have said before: “Schedules that even popular SNSD members, IU, and even male idols have found difficult to complete, even when she has completed such busy and hectic schedules, which is by itself not an easy task, there has been never any news her fainting or falling unconscious. Even when she is tired, she has never been called out for attitude problems. This is the ‘woman of steel’, T-ara’s Eunjung.” Enduring the craziest schedules, always undertaking superhuman amounts of work, yet never complaining or slacking off. Always the optimistic and bubbly one, the one who would step in for other members if anything happens to them. This is the Eunjung that makes my heart ache. The achievements that she has gained using everything she had in her life, all destroyed just like that… Rumours and insults, just like that, destroyed a girl. But, what exactly did she do wrong? What did she do wrong to ever have to suffer such accusations? She was clearly the last to tweet, and yet it was reported that she was the first one to do so. Why did people have to photoshop those screencaps like that? I don’t know. But let’s look closely at her tweet: “A person’s status is created by people; determination as well can also be created… Aigoo, it’s upsetting. Should be considerate to those beside you” What I want to say is, regardless of whom this tweet is directed to, I first have to say that coming from Ham Eun Jung, there is nothing wrong with it. Because her status was indeed created from her own struggles, from her own hard work all these years. Indeed, she was not given this status, but created it herself. Because she used her determination to complete the busiest schedules. Because she is clearly not a selfish person. If she were one, she would not have performed on stage while injured. So what she said, she did. She was not being scornful or taunting. As one of the longest T-ara members, the first leader, and the member with the greatest responsibility, she has the qualifications to say these words. Discussions always tend to support the weak, but what is right and wrong is not measured by a person’s strength or weakness or pity for the weak. Behind those who are strong, are also blood, sweat, and tears. Ever since I have slowly come to understand this girl, I wished for her to go solo and to find her own path and success. But I also realize that she is the one least likely to leave T-ara even if she has the most potential to succeed in doing so. I have always thought that she has a sense of stubbornness and determination towards T-ara. In Star Life Theatre, when thinking about T-ara 10 years from now, she cried. There will come a day when all their current glory will eventually fade away, and what brilliance she can hold onto and make into reality now is only temporary. Yet knowing this, she is like a moth to a flame, and will continue to try her best. Because, for this, she has already put in too much effort for too long. Eunjung has said before self-deprecatingly: she is destined to work forever. I agree, she is. Her stubbornness and determination: to get T-ara to the top. But when hope is near, it is completely destroyed. I feel saddened and heartbroken for how cruel fate is to this girl. She should not be treated in this manner. Did she do anything wrong? I would not say that she is a flawless goddess. She isn’t. Everyone is responsible to an extent for T-ara’s current situation, but the blame and criticism she is getting is too much. She has become a figurehead for netizens to express their anger on. Yesterday, I told my friend, let this be an once-in-a-lifetime life lesson then. But I know this is only something said in optimism, something that is easily said. I worry for Eunjung, but I also believe that she will grow stronger and learn from this experience. This girl, who hides her weakness in an outer appearance of strength, will either collapse or get back up stronger. I believe it is the latter. I too am looking forward to the return of a stronger and more determined Ham Eunjung. And more importantly, I know that she is not alone: she has her family and people who admire and believe in her. 36. 2. Picture may speak a thousand words, but these pictures have been cut from a what seemingly joking show into a malicious post. This is a Japanese game show titled Han Love. (Full game show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwKANnm34aY) Meanwhile, this particular game show is coincidentally during the Batsu game (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batsu_game) Check out the full video to fully understand the situation. Look at 06:30, Jiyeon also have to suffer the same punishment. People have been saying about how Koreans should have known of the seriousness of stuffing rice cakes may choke the victim to death. So you guys actually think that Eunjung would actually kill Hwayoung? In the view of all viewers watching the show, and the emcee would just stand there and laugh, and Hwayoung would just accept the fact she’s going to die and drop dead? Please, even a murderer don’t kill in front of a large crowd, what’s more of these celebrities that care so much about their image. And if you notice, Eunjung didn’t force in the whole rice cake. Now stuffing the WHOLE rice cake in is no joke, but as long as Eunjung act as if she were forcing in the rice cake, it would be fine. Plus, which of you people know the meaning of sportmanship? If Eunjung actually faked this punishment, she would be asked to redo it and it would just complicate the matter. Everybody talked about how Eunjung is so bad to Hwayoung. Has anyone ever comment on the picture below? Shameless creatures. 3. For this evidence, they are filming Star Life Theater. The crew asked Hwayoung why are you reading book when the van is so shaky. When Hwayoung was about to answer, Jiyeon interrupted saying that she only reads because there’s a camera. Using this as evidence, they said T-ara members laughed out loud and left Hwayoung feeling uncomfortable. However this was not the case when I look back at the clip. Hwayoung actually applaud when being teased this way Those who need more evidence, just go and search T-ara Star Life Theater episode 3 and skip to 17:10. Hwayoung admitted that she really reads because of the camera. Case closed. 4. I don’t know where this is from and cos it’s hangul I can’t read it. People said that the content is saying Jiyeon got 1st place in popularity votes while Hwayoung get 0. So people actually filed this under bullying? When is the last time, you guys made fun of you SAME AGED FRIEND? We need more of Jiyeon purposely trying to put Hwayoung in an awkward position and not based your decision that this is a bullying case only based on this one picture. Let’s say Soyeon (my bias) gets 0 votes in popularity votes. Jiyeon wouldn’t dare to make fun of her because she’s her unnie. As I had EMPHASISE before, South Korea is a society where people really takes age into serious matter where you have to bow 90-degree if you are greeting your senior and other culture. When people find out about people sharing their same year of birth, they will be EXTRAORDINARILY friendly with them immediately because when will be the next time they can act like themselves if not to their same aged friends? Seriously, this is a stupid picture, it’s just showing how close Jiyeon is to Hwayoung and how comfortable she is with her that she can joke with her this way. Yes I don’t have evidence Jiyeon is not making fun of her time for this part. But IF YOU WILL, think of what I just said on top, if it doesn’t makes sense, I can’t force my opinion on you so LAUGH ALL U CAN.

  41. It is quite unfortunate... Well, as Wooram is Boram's sister, I wish her the best. I do hope people won't bash her because of Boram (but considering how fickle minded people can be). Wishing Wooram and D-Unit the best.

  44. found on tumblr Guilty until proven innocent: The lynch mob against T-ara and who’s really to blame The fallout from Hwayoung‘s split with T-ara has been nothing short of cataclysmic, and resulted in an all-out witch hunt against the current T-ara members. The group has lost endorsement deals, been forced to cancel concerts, fan cafes have shut down, petitions and groups to have T-ara disbanded and to uncover the truth behind the scandal have attracted hundreds of thousands of people, netizens have called for the members to be removed from their current television shows, a music program director has said he will no longer contact T-ara, and much more. In less than a week, T-ara has gone from being one of the most loved groups in K-Pop to the most reviled and hated. But whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty, and why are the members of T-ara receiving all the vitriol instead of their controversial CEO, Kim Kwang Soo? The bulk of the anti-T-ara bandwagoning has stemmed from various reports of bullying — virtually all of which have turned out to be either misconstrued or completely false. The situation has gotten so bad that anonymous posts on web forums have been picked up by the media and reported as fact, and everybody has been so desperate for answers that they’re not stopping to separate the fiction from the fact. A photo of Hyomin accidentally bumping Hwayoung as she raised her arm was transformed by netizens into “Hyomin pokes Hwayoung in the eye!“. A video of Hwayoung opening her mouth for Eunjung to put a rice cake in it suddenly became an attempt at choking by force-feeding, but what netizens failed to mention was that it was a Japanese game show where you had to put sweets into someone’s mouth and then try make a sound with your mouth full. As if things couldn’t get any more far-fetched, a photo of Hwayoung chatting with INFINITE and SISTAR at the ‘Idol Olympics’ broadcast was somehow turned into Hwayoung having to sit with them because T-ara wouldn’t speak to her. There was never any speculation that Hwayoung had been bullied before last week, yet now all it takes is a photo of her hanging with Bora to serve as evidence that she’s been ostracized by her own group. Does this selca of Eunjung and KARA’s Gyuri mean that they too, are victims of bullying? Anybody can take a photo and fabricate a story around it. There was even a shocking report that Jiyeon slapped Hwayoung across the face — a report that literally stemmed from an anonymous forum post from somebody claiming to be a member of T-ara’s dance team, Yama & Hot Chicks. When the leader of the dance team came forward to shoot down the false claims, it was too late. The article was already a most-read story across the web, and the damage was done. It should take more than some out-of-context photos, anonymous forum posts, and unsubstantiated stories to convince the world that T-ara is a pack of evil bullies who tormented and assaulted their bandmate. This is 2012, but right now people are acting like it’s the 1600s and we’re all at the Salem witch trials. The only thing that seems somewhat accurate in all of this drama is that there was an incident on last week’s Music Bank where Hwayoung was upset for an as-yet-unknown reason, and refused to go on stage for T-ara’s scheduled performance. This caused the other members to have to cover for her at the last minute, and resulted in a mistake being made during the performance. Some T-ara members were then unprofessional and tweeted their disappointment over Hwayoung’s actions, which led to them being labelled as bullies. This information about Music Bank does not confirm that T-ara are bullies, nor does it confirm that Hwayoung is troublesome. All it confirms is that Hwayoung refused to perform on Music Bank –which may or may not have been for a perfectly valid reason– and that the others members disagreed with that decision. Does anybody remember what happened to the Sugababes back in 2009? Keisha Buchanan was fired from the group amidst claims she was a bully, but fans and the public still took her side and blamed member Amelle Berrabah for the entire thing. People adopted a lynch mob mentality, similar to the one we are currently seeing against T-ara, and eventually their attacks against Amelle were so vicious that she had a nervous breakdown and had to spend three-weeks recovering in a treatment facility. Reports that Keisha had been a bully were never confirmed, the fans eventually calmed down and got over it, and life went on as usual. If only everyone had behaved more rationally and not jumped to conclusions, then Amelle’s unfortunate breakdown could have been avoided all together. (I should know, because I was one of the many people who sent abusive tweets to Amelle at the time!) While everybody is busy blaming T-ara for Hwayoung’s departure, few seem to be looking at Kim Kwang Soo, who may very well be more responsible for this entire ordeal than anybody else involved. In my April article about T-ara’s then-announced member changes, I expressed my concern over the way Kim Kwang Soo was managing the group. I said that he was creating an unhealthy environment for the group by encouraging them to compete against one another and by threatening to fire or replace any members who didn’t comply. Now that he’s made good on his threats, it’s T-ara who are being blamed. In the same article, I also took a look at how severely Kim Kwang Soo had been overworking T-ara. In a nutshell, the group hadn’t had a vacation since their debut in 2009 and hadn’t received a day off in one year, members were performing on top of serious injuries, Jiyeon collapsed on stage from exhaustion, and at times the group’s work load was so heavy that they had 12 schedules in one day. Now picture the kind of stress that would bring on the members of T-ara, and then remember that Hwayoung was not part of the original T-ara lineup. She was added to the group in 2010. So Hwayoung was added to a group that was already successful, a group that had been together for years (if you include their training days), a group that was being severely overworked in a high-stress environment, and a group that was encouraged by their CEO to compete against one another. If any of the unsubstantiated bullying claims are true, or even if Hwayoung was simply just an ‘outcast’ in T-ara, it’s not hard to see why. If you need any more proof that Kim Kwang Soo isn’t the greatest CEO on the planet, then look no further than Nam Gyuri. The idol was a member former CCM girl group SeeYa, before she left back in 2009 for financial reasons and to pursue an acting career. What followed was a messy and very public war of words in which Kim Kwang Soo revealed scandalous information about Gyuri in the press and claimed that she uncooperative and missed schedules, the remaining SeeYa members held a press conference and painted Gyuri out to be a selfish diva, and Gyuri called Kim Kwang Soo “the devil”, denied his allegations against her and implied that it was part of a smear campaign, and claimed her former bandmates were cold towards her and spoke behind her back. There was probably a little truth to both sides of that story, but at the end of the day, people are going to disagree and have conflicts. It’s a normal part of life, and it’s happened to everybody. When you’re looking at a Korean girl group, such as T-ara, a CEO is like the teacher or the parent of the group. The CEO has a responsibility to create a safe and healthy environment for the group, both at home in the dorm and at work, and to ensure that any petty issues are taken care of in a proper way so the dynamic of the group can remain positive and professional. Kim Kwang Soo appears to have done the exact opposite of that, and if there is any true disharmony in T-ara, it is he who should be held responsible before both Hwayoung and T-ara. As of now, the only real bullies in this whole situation are the netizens. Take one look at the comments section in a T-ara post on AllKPop right now, and you’ll either see a hypocritical flood of cruel and mean-spirited attacks directed at the group and its individual members, or just people laughing at the group’s current predicament. T-ara is being torn down for something that nobody even knows if they actually did or not. And if they did do it, then why did they do it? Not everything in life is black and white.

  45. For me, there's nothing to apologize, those netizens who jump into conclusion immediately because of an unknown proof of them bullying youngie is the one who needs to apologize. Just one thing i thought is that, the apologies of Eunjung is due to their confusing tweets that brought us to know who is the real Queen's and those that are not. anyway, i believe they did nothing wrong just that a little confusing tweets! FIGHTING JUNGIE! FIGHTING T-ARA AND YOUNGIE! FIGHTING REAL QUEEN'S!

  47. I always thought she was the most friendliest. Her smile always seems so genuine. It's such a shame that she is the one that suffered the most (other than Hwayoung). Although others might not think her apology is sincere or enough, at least she spoke up and said something.
