  1. [12.08.24] Haeundae Lover's writer, "T-ara's situation, regretful towards their agency" Haeundae Lovers's Writer opened up about Haeundae Lover's Soyeon on the morning of the 24th, expressing her thoughts about the T-ara situation: She said, "speaking about Soyeon is a very sensitive matter" "I've not seen Soyeon before. It seems like it was T-ara's agency which allowed things to become like this" She continued, "The company should, in line with what the public and citizens want, give an explanation about the issue" "Eunjung left her drama recently, and the requests for the other members to leave are also continuing endlesslessly, it is like they are digging their own graves. I feel very regretful about their company" About the requests for Soyeon to leave Haeundae Lovers, "Soyeon is not a main character but a supporting character" "Filming already began before the T-ara issue, if she were to leave, we would have to re-film which is not easy" "Soyeon began filming before the T-ara issue" "At that time we did not expect there to be such a conflict" "The Tablo incident also happened before, and I felt very saddened about it" "Same about Soyeon. Even after the debate, there is no way to accurately know the reasons, we can't just let her leave the drama. I thought the agency would come up with sensible measures, but to let the incident grow large like this, it is not possible to not have any thoughts of complaints." "Disregarding the truth or falsity of the T-ara debate, I hope that they can take this opportunity and become even more united. Personally, I also have worries as to whether T-ara will disband because of this" "When I do sports, I also gain energy from listening to T-ara's songs" She cautiously said, "Soyeon was in a traffic accident not long ago, and I know there appeared rumours claiming that the accident was fake, the situation is really serious" "For me, I want to protect those who appear in my work, the cast and crew who have worked hard" *** Translated by @kckclalala via Chinese translations from TCN Original Article: http://news.nate.com.../20120824n13732

"To drama producers, issues of production sponsorship, PPL etc are no doubt important, but to tamper with the drama's plan for these issues is not the way. A production that succeeds relying on despicable things, is very muddled. Although the production sponsorship for The Thousandth Man is zero ㅠ I will not give up. Money is something that you will have when you work harder." 4. "To restore Eunjung's reputation, we will advocate her rights!" Regarding Tara Eunjung's receiving of an unilateral notice of termination from the drama production company, the Korean Entertainment Management Association (KEMA) has expressed its position. The KEMA on the 23rd published to the media an article titled "Opinion on the Unreasonable Unilateral Breach of TV Drama Contract" According to this article, for the success of Five Fingers, Eunjung had given up her other schedules, including overseas activities, showing her sincerity to fully participate in the drama production, but the production team of "Five Fingers" on the 21st, requested with no legitimate reason, that Eunjung leave the drama on her own accord, mentioning that if she did not comply with the request, they would put pressure on Eunjung and her agency. Eunjung's side did not understand this, and requested for a reason for withdrawal, but the production team only referred to the modification clause of the contract stating that the situation was not in the best interests of the drama production. The KEMA stated "If it is necessary to change the cast during drama production, it should be be discussed with the actor under the premise of mutual understanding and negotiation, but the production team and SBS on the 22nd did not relate any information to Eunjung about her withdrawal, but announced her termination through the media" It also stated "Through various evidence and proof, this association has verified and is shocked by this oppressive act of the production team." The KEMA said "This association works to improve the practices of drama production and to develop a healthy industry by eradicating old practices. Therefore, from a few years ago, starting with the problems of unpaid acting fees, this association has worked to improve such unreasonable contracts and practices." "Such efforts can been seen in the 'Drama Production Standard Acting Contract' project developed along with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. KEMA's article concluded by stating "We will advocate for Ham Eunjung's rights to restore her reputation as she has been unreasonably harmed as described above. To ensure that all relevant parties in this incident will not be harmed, we anticipate a reasonable solution from the drama production team." 5. Isn't he's the same person who support T-ara a while back (1-2 weeks ago)?I'm glad to see some sane people who truly support T-ara.First it was Hyomin's PD,then KEMA shows their support and now him.Well,if only Korean netizens and reporters think like them, all these craps won't happen. They do love to exaggerate things, huh? If this whole controversy didn't happen,we might enjoy ourselves listening to T-ara's Sexy Love by now.Eunjung,Soyeon,Hyomin,Boram,Qri and Jiyeon, please have faith in yourself.I really hope they can get through this hell and not having a mental breakdown Be strong QUEENS.Every cloud has a silver shining.

  8. [12.08.24] Han Yeono, "Eunjung was threatened by the 'Five Fingers' PD" Korean Actor Labor Union (CEO Han Yongsoo) has claimed that Eunjung being kicked off of the cast of SBS drama "Five Fingers" was due to blackmail/threats. On the 23rd through a press release, a member Han Yeono said, "The union members and manager have asked for reasons why Cho Younghun PD removed Eunjung. The answer about Cho Younghun PD was that he said, 'Voluntarily leave! Or we'll create a withdrawal form' and threatened her." Following, they said, "Eunjung gave up her schedules and left MBC's 'We Got Married; in order to appear in SBS 'Five Fingers'." They finished by saying, "The union has a strong protest against the unilateral measures that the publishers and the PD Cho Younghun did to remove Eunjung from 'Five Fingers'. The union members will look to getting Eunjung reinstated back and request that they give sincere apologies to everyone involved and the viewers." *** Source: http://star.mk.co.kr/new/view.php?mc=ST&no=535911&year=2012 Translated by: Nathaniel @ Diadem

  9. This ain't funny anymore. How unprofessional. More embarrassment for the k-entertainment. And those sponsors as well, just rotten. Where is the justice here? Apologies to all who read this post, if its quite vindictive: boycott the show, boycott the sponsors' products.

  11. This is so disgusting, this production team is so cheap and cruel, it should be a gangster/mafia team, stop making drama then. She is innocent, she did nothing wrong, but they threaten her like this, using her for publicity, go behind her back & stab her, so cruel...Is she not a human to them? If they like, they cast her; if they don't like, they kick her and treat her like trash??? They are BULLYING her right now!!! I feel so bad for her, nothing can really help her now. OMG Jungie ahh, you got hurt so much and suffer so much in this whole situation. I want to see justice & fairness happen to you soon!!! I can't stand seeing you being tortured like this and it affect your mind and your health ((. I don't want you back in the drama anymore, I don't want you involve with these disgusting people anymore. All I want for you is that you are okay, your health is okay!!!

  12. Finally.. someone who is willing to put his name behind a news fact (Korean Actor Labor Union CEO Han Yongsoo). Hope the Labor Union and KEMA are really going to go all out on this, though I am not sure that Eunjeung should even reconsider going back, this drama is already getting bad press and I'm afraid she will get blamed if the drama tanks, an apology and repatriation of her reputation is enough... to me the show has already lost four fingers with only the middle one left.. But isn't it ironic? The previous post are correct... SBS kicking out Eunjeung was probably as much as a bonehead move as KKS kicking out Hwayoung.

  13. Honestly I don't want her to go back, it would be awkward and they would probably abuse her into quitting or make her life miserable, but it would probably benefit her and T-ara's image. At the very least, this may create a precedent that will make PD's think twice, before doing this. But I bet no will care that Eunjung actually got threatened and bullied in this whole situation.... So much for anti-bullying justice.

  14. It's worth it. It may not be worth it for Eunjung's sake alone, but look at the bigger picture. First, the union is attempting to stop this practice, which will not only benefit Eunjung, but future actors and actresses who face a similar problem. Second, having Eunjung reinstated is good for T-ara. This will show that T-ara won't go down without a fight instead of taking xxxx from certain people in the industry.

  18. I think it is not that the company don't want to give explanations. Looking at the way he announced Hwayoung's departure abruptly, giving vague statements, trying to smoke his way through by saying T-ara's Twitter accounts got mass hacked (which is not true) and making a police report (when the police station confirmed he didn'T)..all that he'd done only seems to make the situation worsen. And even if the truth is revealed, people only choose to believe whatever truth that is already deeply embedded in their head. Honestly speaking, what is the right way to solve all these? Standing out to clarify also wrong, hide and drag also wrong. It's a dilemma. It seems like every move taken will get scrutinized. People are just not willing to accept anything yet... even though I very much feel that the 7 girls should just clarify everything themselves and sort things out all at one go in public, but saying this isn't as easy as doing it. i believe that is the best way to put an end to all these, but who is willing to do this. too many red tapes around. they probably feel that there are mines hidden every where on the ground and they are stucked. no idea where to move =.="

  26. I want SBS to apologise to Eunjung and give her the role in 5F back, just for Eunjung to say she accept the apology but she will not return to the drama . I hope now that she started with piano(or continue, i think her mother teach her when she was little) she keeps learning piano. That would be her prize from all this horible situation and maybe she could compose some music and express her frustrations, sadness etc, that would help her to heal her heart and soul and will be good for her carreer.

  31. Oh the irony.."bullying" is a common tactic in the Large Media Industry, isn't it my fellow Queens? How can a professional do something this rude to ANYONE. Shows how many people don't care about others. Whether he believes he is in the wrong or right with his actions, this is not justifiable and intolerable behavior. I will not watch anything this PD will be apart of. I have lost respect for him and "Five Fingers". Unbelievable.

  34. This is just like backstabbing Eunjung! Finding a replacement actress even when she have already practiced for her lines with the other actors and practiced hard for the piano. i can't express my disappointment with the drama producers for approaching Jin SeYeon to fill in Eunjung's role.

  35. [12.08.23] Ham Eunjung at home in seclusion with her mother Ham Eunjung, after being forced to leave her drama, has fallen into silence. Eunjung was scheduled to film on the 23rd for SBS's Weekend Drama "Five Fingers" but on the 22nd received a sudden termination notice from the production company. Management Goo, which handles Eunjung's acting activities, said "Since yesterday afternoon, Eunjung has been staying with her family" "She is reluctant to communicate with the outside world and seems to want to observe quietly for now." On the morning of the 22nd, Eunjung had confirmed her hairstyle and practised piano etc, preparing for her first filming. But because of the news of her being dropped from the drama, she fell into a daze, overwhelmed with shock, and returned to her home situated in Nonhyeon Dong, Gangnam, Seoul. Instead of close acquaintances, Eunjung chose to seek comfort from her family to overcome this crisis. Eunjung's mother was also a child actress and so has personal experience of the hardships that actors must experience. Management Goo's words "Isn't family the most able to give her strength and support?" expressed Eunjung's condition on the 23rd Ham Eunjung will be replaced by "Bridal Mask's" Jin Seyeon who will begin shooting immediately *** English trans via Chinese TCN translations Original source: http://news.nate.com.../20120823n24759 Translated by: kclalala @ Diadem

  36. I am glad that now one by one, people are speaking up and saying something sensible about this whole issue. I'm glad this writer addressed the very thing that we have been so pricked about. Everything is ugly right now and T-ara is suffering too much from it all, only because CCM did not use their brain when the whole controversy first broke out. Adding only fuel to fire by kicking Hwayoung out of the group. I think KKS even took advantage of the situation by making true of his words that he will kick out someone who goes out of line. Why so harsh right?! If someone goes out of line, as a company, shouldn't they try to sort out the root of the problem, implement a disciplinary action, initiate a better line of communication with the girls and develop a good working environment for everyone so they can continue on their work professionally. Truthfully, I don't think this will happen in CCM even after this controversies. They are a bunch of stupid morons there. I hope someday, T-ara will be able to come out of CCM and sign up with a company that knows how to respect and protect their artists.

  39. Yes. I fully agree. CCM played a big part in this mess. This problem should have been handled carefully in the first place. CCM failed and that's why so many bad things follow...

  40. and all this time, what all those bs about supporting eunjung? backstabber...
    1 point
  41. Since T-ara & CCM is in such a bad press position & SBS can easily spin the T-ara story to what manner of reporting they would like in their TV entertainment news + ban CCM from their shows, it won't be smart for CCM to make a large fuss (like launching a law suit) over the unilaterally unfair action which I guess is what the TV station is counting on.. So I am really happy that at least some people outside of CCM (which often make matters worse) are actually fighting for Eunjeung's reputation and realizing that this type of prosecution is really not healthy for K-pop in general.

  42. she must feel so bad,i was sure she was at home with her mother, but i think this situation is so unbelieveable that this is not enough. She will need many time, support and most of all SOME GOOD NEWS OR EVEN BETTER NO NEWS AT ALL REGARDING T-ARA AND THE xxxxING DRAMA 5F. i really hope that even if i´m diying to see her, any comebak will be realease this year . I don´t want bad critics and hate on her because her psysical and menthal health are not good to keep receiveing unfair criticism and betrayals, that could really make Eunjung leave her acting, singing, dancing career for ever or something worse.

  44. Quite an extensive list of the duds happening to T-ara all year. They actually seem extremely unlucky and I'd go as far to say they're the most unlucky group at current. 1. Eunjung's leg injury during LD promotions 2. Jiyeon is unable to take her first ever vacation since debut due to DH2 filming 3. Soyeon apparently has a bit of a leg injury herself and ends up performing on crutches. 4. KKS openly threatens them in public 5. 2 unnecessary members are added 6. Boram is caught up with acute gastritis 7. The Twitter issue results in the greatest idol scandal and chaos of 2012 8. Hwayoung's contract is terminated and gets kicked out. 9. Soyeon gets in a major car accident (supposedly anyway) 10. Eunjung gets the boot from the drama she's supposed to be in. Am I missing anything so far? It almost as seems like fate wants them to collapse (whether if it's targeted towards CCM or T-ara itself however, is a matter of debate). Creepy O.o
