And that is still true - Koreans care about different things than Americans do, they deal with things in a different way, all those little things that are different across cultures, but they could still produce a polished, purchasable, and (generally) positive product. And again, even if backstage, things aren't like on the stage, you take that as a given (once you figure that stuff out) - you still like it, it's still fun, you still listen to it and watch it and talk about it. But can you imagine this situation being as bad as it is if any other company were involved? I mean, arguably we wouldn't even have any kind of crisis as we're having, because other companies wouldn't have given the rumor mill a free hand for five days and then decided to fire the very person that everyone in the public was siding with, and they wouldn't have built a reputation such that people were willing to speculate that you orchestrated a car accident involving four people aside from one of your stars just to gain sympathy, and they wouldn't just sit on their hands after gaining the personal satisfaction of getting your "rebel" star to apologize to you in private. Not only is his company losing money, not only is T-ara having all the problems they're having, but all of Korea is looking jacked right now to the casual observer, not just the Kpop world - and right when it's building momentum across the world. Mr. Kim may not have created Korean society, he may not have dictated everything about this situation, but he sure as s did his durndest to make things as ridiculous as they've gotten - starting with just being so easy to hate. But luckily, something distracted me before I bored you even more. Just because I just saw it, if you're gonna talk about "idols," I mean, what exactly did T-ara do that was so unworthy? Hwayoung, for not not going on stage, or for tweeting about feeling like she was alone in an argument? The other girls, for tweeting words of encouragement that were twisted around to look like mockery? I only take my trash out in the middle of the night - does that make me guilty of making someone think I have something in my trash that I want to keep hidden? See? I really feel sorry for Eunjung. All her fans are outraged and devastated too. Eunjung must be feeling more than devastated. Everything she worked hard for went down the drain. She worked on her hair too, she practiced piano, she practiced her lines, and now she must be feeling like she's in hell. What's worse, she might be even blaming herself for this even if she has no fault. I am glad that she has a very supportive family. I have faith that she can get through this. She's hurting more than ever now. This is the biggest blow so far for her. T-ara controversy for the first time was given in an opened discussion on Echannel aired on 23/08. With the participation of 14 journalists from different sections as: sport, ent, economy….. In my mind, I hold a strong word, someday.. when T-ara name was clear and the people know that they made a big mistake to T-ara, I just want to see, can they face their face? i'm glad the PD of Hyomin's drama 1000th Man is a man of his word.. Like he said even if 1000th Man sponsorship is zero he didn't kick Hyomin out of the drama just to get more sponsors & money.. i know there were also antis who petition for Hyomin's removal & maybe some sponsors back out too but he still stick to Hyomin & didn't replace her.. This is really idiotic. If you don't want to put them in, then just do it. You're going to remove them anyway. It's like they're asking people first as if they feel sympathy for the girls, which they aren't. They're just manipulating the situation to their favors. And that's even more worse for me. I agreed. As long as the situation isn't officially cleared, these kinds of people (like FF production team) will take advantage of T-ara. I don't want to see them with a broken heart like the incident that happened to Eunjung. They can take one incident, but can they take another ? Sooner or later one of the girls with have a mental breakdown from all these mess and it'll be too late to fix everything.

I don't understand, Soyeon's and Hyomin's dramas are doing pretty well. There is no problem with ratings or publicity. Why is there now a problem? These TV networks are being a bunch of cowards.

Now this is what I called "Bullying". Pretending to be all encouraging one day and backstabbing her in the next. Even if it's for your sponsors, at least you'd have to call Eunjung for a talk about the situation. How can a production company do something as unprofessional as this ? What can I expect from a drama that has a production team like this? Maybe leaving the cast was a blessing in disguise, it's better to take a rest than work with these kind of back-stabbing people. You'll never know what kind of things they'll talk and do behind your back. To Eunjung: FIghting !! We'll always support you. There'll always be better things than this. Stay strong !! And to Jin Seyeon: My advice is don't join this drama. I like your acting in 'Bridal Mask' so please don't ruin your reputation.

I admired SBS back then as to how they accepted Joo Ji Hoon despite him being blacklisted in other networks due to his drug case. I also admired SBS back then as to how they said they will keep Eunjung despite the bullying rumors. They could have rejected her when the T-ara controversy heated up, but they didn't. I was also happy that Eunjung's co-actors in the drama accepted her and encouraged her... Then they allowed her to attend the press conference. She tried her best to be professional by smiling her best even though she is still obviously hurting. She smiled and laughed too sometimes during the event, as she tried to escape her pain and look forward to the drama. Eunjung's fans supported her in that event, with all the rice wreaths, etc. Now that ratings are high, and Eunjung is already rehearsing her scenes and her piano skills, they met an actress behind her back and replaced her arbitrarily, unilaterally, unfairly. Those sponsors, ugh! So SBS, Five Fingers production team, etc eventually gave in to the demands of those sponsors and anti-fans. Cowardice. Scared of anti-fans, never cared for the actual fans. They feared that Eunjung's appearance will give them losses? Wrong. They lost Eunjung too and the fans behind her. They used her T-ara publicity, made her a fool by letting her practice for nothing, stabbed her in the back, abandoned her and crushed her pride like that. Poor Eunjung, so defeated, so helpless, she had no choice but to accept their decision. How can they treat their lead actress like this? I posted so many good things about the drama. I even said this drama is nice because of the music story regardless of who the actors are. I am very sorry. I take my words back. Somehow I already got myself so invested in this drama with Eunjung in it. And I can't seem to see Hong Da Mi played by anyone else other than Eunjung. Perhaps out of my love for music and piano I will watch the drama in the future...perhaps next year or I don't know, time will heal these wounds. But for now, I can't seem to watch it knowing that Eunjung was betrayed this way. Replacing her is probably not a problem with me if they did it before the press conference and they ride on the heat of the controversy a few weeks ago, but knowing how much Eunjung wanted this role, how she supposedly gave up WGM for this and how much she worked hard for this and she already attended the press conference... this unfair manner of replacement... ugh! I guess I will have to say pass... for now. Dear May Queen, I am presuming that you treat your actors well unlike others... so I wish you the best in the ratings game in the Sat-Sun 9:50pm timeslot. Eunjung, be strong. This too shall pass. There's no way but up!!! Fighting!!! I hope the T-ara comeback single Sexy Love won't be jeopardized like this too. T-ara Fighting!!!

This is just like backstabbing Eunjung! Finding a replacement actress even when she have already practiced for her lines with the other actors and practiced hard for the piano. i can't express my disappointment with the drama producers for approaching Jin SeYeon to fill in Eunjung's role.

this is probably has less thing to do with SBS. SBS only have the rights of airing this drama not producing this and made decision about the actors/actress. the contract is also between the drama production team and eunjung, not SBS and eunjung. it's the drama production team (Yein Entertainment) decision to remove eunjung. the fact that SBS picked this drama despite having joo ji hoon in it, is actually a prove that SBS aren't that harsh in their "banning" policy. i'm happy to see someone else, not CCM, speak up for her. where is KKS in all this? srsly. eunjung fighting! @xbot - Even still, going up against one of the three largest broadcasting companies of the whole country is a pretty dangerous game and they're likely to play hardball if attacked at - this is a whole lot different from going up against entertainment agencies, who RELY on these three companies to show their artists in front of the screen of millions. Although it would be ridiculous for CCM to make a fuss about this, it IS CCM after all. Known to make some of the most dumbest mistakes in Kpop that is worth noting down and it wouldn't be surprising if they did something stupid and make the whole situation a heck lot worse. Just look at how they handled Hwayoung's departure and the circumstances surrounding it. It's not exactly surprising that both KBS, MBC and SBS themselves are likely to see T-ara in a pretty negative aspect like the public does, aside from ratings and profit - if this is the case, then it's probably their way of saying 'F U!' to CCM while T-ara is part of the collateral damage.

The act itself is not unprofessional, but how they handled it was. I understand that if they predict Eunjung being part of the show would bring more harm than benefits to the show they can replace her. But why wait until now? And why don't be honest with her and make it clear of their decisions or doubts? Why keeping pretending that she would be part of the show when at the same time their are looking for a new actress? That's why this was unprofessional.

Funny, didn't they sign a new contract with a separate agency to handle the acting side of their careers? Just something to keep in the back of your minds about this all. I was a little surprised at how... normal their reaction sounded in the above report. Anyway, it's a shame, all this. There are "big picture" things to this, but I'll let it rest. Anyway, it's not the first time advertisers were overly sensitive to goings-on. And it's not the first time network folk bowed to pressure from the moneybags. ... and it's not the first time Mr. Kim opened up a can of worms that dismantlee years of hard work, crippled careers, caused immense personal trauma and actively invited onlookers to see Korea and Koreans in a negative light.

Please let her stay! I can no longer be rational about this anymore. Acting has always been Eunjung's forte and dream. She is like the hilt of a sword while the drama is the blade; if they decide to pull her off the drama, she'll feel powerless as if the blade has been shattered into many pieces. Why ruin a girl's dream over some unverified rumors?
